It's still new but this has the potential to be the next great hidden gem in Anderson Mill! Very very friendly staff, super clean interior, and a straightforward traditional noodle house menu. The BEEF NOODLE SOUP is filled with tender shavings of beef in a light, tasty broth. You can order it spicy, or ask for the chili on the side. Just don't skip the chili altogether - even a little bit adds depth and richness to the soup that really makes it what it is meant to be. The noodles themselves aren't fancy, knife cut, or hand-stretched, but they hold up properly to the broth and complete the dish well. GREEN ONION PANCAKES are one of my favorite, easy to enjoy, side dishes from noodle houses, and these were - no exaggeration - the best I've ever had in Austin! These aren't the limp, soggy, or undercooked version you may have found elsewhere. They are, instead, freshly fried, delicately thin layers of crispy "dough" that flake off with every bite of green onion goodness. They feel like air in your hand, but deliver plenty of flavor. I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu. If this place is consistently this good, it will find its way onto the list of Northwest Austin's legendary Asian hole-in-the-wall joints, like Asia Cafe and Chen's. 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
