A New Shanghainese Restaurant Opens in Downtown Portland This Month - Eater Portland

"Shanghai Chinese Restaurant will open in downtown Portland this month, taking over a restaurant space at SW 4th Avenue. Shanghainese owner Danny Chen, who also runs the longstanding Szechuan Chef restaurant on Macadam, wants to highlight distinct cuisine and classic style of Shanghai; Chen’s menu covers both traditional and modern Shanghainese dishes hard to find at other Portland restaurants. The venue will feature familiar Shanghainese classics like xiao long bao, as well as more elusive dishes like Shanghai-style borscht — a beet-free, tomato-based adaptation of the dish brought to the city by Russian immigrants fleeing persecution in the early 1900s. Other Shanghainese trademark specialties coming to Shanghai Chinese Restaurant are shīzi tóu (lion’s head meatball), a tender braised pork meatball often with a cooked egg in the middle, and the classic táng cù páigǔ, sweet-and-sour spare ribs. Chen isn’t exclusively focused on traditional Shanghainese dishes, however; the menu also features a few ‘new Shanghainese’ dishes found at some contemporary restaurants in Shanghai, such as sautéed cubed beef with wasabi sauce. On the sweet side of things, Shanghai Chinese Restaurant features a couple of pastries, including red bean pancakes and miniature pumpkin-shaped pastries called nánguā bǎobǎo found at some high-end Shanghai hotels. Although the menu largely holds true to its roots, a few crowd-favorite Sichuan dishes, such as mapo tofu and kung pao chicken, have snuck onto the menu." - Adam Levbarg

Chorizo McMuffins Hit Bit House Saloon’s New Brunch Service | Eater Portland

"I learned from Michael Russell that the dumpling cart Shanghai’s Best on 9th and Alder hawks the Shanghai classic sheng jian bao—essentially a fried soup dumpling—at a dang-good deal: $2 for one, $5 for three." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

My partner and I stopped by while we were busy around downtown with friends from out-of-town, hoping for a quick bite. The menu and vibes were authentic. We ended up ordering fried pork dumplings since they looked good and affordable. I do admit it's not the best thing to take to-go, but the woman didn't let us do so because she insisted it's much better to eat it in person. I see where she's coming from, but it would have been nice to have the option. The taste of the dumplings themselves was decent, it had a good flavor despite being more so on the mild side. I've definitely had better dumplings in the area but they were satisfying enough.

Rahul R.

Google
Ordered the vegetarian dumplins. They were cooked just right with right amount of crisp on the bottom. They were sizeable so and order of 6 fed two of us. The filling was a nice mix of seasoning. Go light on the soy sauce as it is salty.

Ashwin C.

Google
I ordered the vegetarian pan-fried dumplings (contains: eggs, chives, and bean noodles), and I have to say they were quite good. It was clear that the dumplings were freshly made to order, as you can see them being prepared behind the counter. The flavors were fresh but on the mild side, which didn’t really detract from the dish but it left me wanting just a bit more. That said, I think a bit of chili oil or something spicy would have elevated the dish even more. Overall, a satisfying experience and a dish I’d happily order again.

Since visiting Shanghai, we look for Sheng Jian Bao every time we go to a city that might have it. For us, these hit the spot really well. Not quite soupy, but somehow it didn’t matter (and prior to eating these I would have said it absolutely mattered). We had 24 hours in Portland and came twice and got some to go for on the plane. For an amazing food city where we had some tremendous dining, this flavor-wise was still remarkably yummy. Ambiance wasn’t noteworthy, but we sat at tables outside in gorgeous weather and honestly didn’t care about the setting as we slurped these down.

Google
Been here twice to this little dumpling stand and we've been back with family and friends (all Asian) and they approve. We've tried their vegetarian and vegan fried dumplings and they were super fresh and delicious. These in my opinion are as good or better than Din Tai Fung's I've grown up eating regular pork and leek dumplings but the vegetable dumplings (vermicelli and egg) they had were extra special. My only regret was not ordering the larger plate because we finished so quickly. The wife and husband who run the shop are so sweet and helpful and explained the different dumplings. We'll definitely be back for more.

Google
Tried Braised Beef Noodle Soup. The taste of soup was good however it had too much salt. I can still recommend this place to people nearby. The staff were nice and patient. They didn’t have too many options in the menu to overwhelm customers. Street parking might be available nearby depending on the time of the day. The place has shared seating for different food joints.

Julie W.

Google
Across the board the food at all of the locations within Pine Street Market were just alright. Edible but nothing special. Same for Shanghai’s Best. Noodles and rice were super bland with essentially no flavor. Pan fried dumpling the best of the 3. Still on the hunt for the best Chinese in Portland. For now we go to Seattle for the nearest good Chinese. We do love the ambiance of the food hall with the reprieve from rain and twinkle lights.

Olive G.

Google
So so so delicious. We got an order of the pan fried pork dumplings and a braised pork belly bowl off the daily specials board. The rice that came in the bowl was perfectly soft and sticky. They were very generous with the amount of pork, too! The dumplings came with two sauces that were both super tasty. The service was quick and there was plenty of seating here in the food court. The ambiance here is warm and inviting, and is a nice break from the cold winter rain outside. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Visited Pine Street Market for the Fall Cider Fest and it was a great event. We'll worth the price for a cider tasting. They had a lot of ciders avaliable to try. Several great food options, ramen, donuts but the Thai and dumpling places were our groups favorite. The environment was great for us to get together with friends but we sat with strangers and made new friends. Only thing is the cider line would get long. So cute and fun would go again!

Yelp
This place is reminiscent of Chelsea Market in New York City with a collection of eateries inside. One thing I really enjoy is sampling a little of this and a little of that with one table and not more than 200 paces round trip from the food pick up to my table. Portland's food scene was just an urban legend before I got the opportunity to see for myself. Pine Street Market makes it east to sample a variety of good eats with reasonable prices. The hospitality is great and inclusive and genuine. I recommend!

Yelp
For sure visit this building located in the Market District. It used to be a carriage factory if you can believe it. Pine Street Market is one of the incredible repurposes of an old building an old building in Portland. Has lots to check out inside to drink and eat. This is good for lunch or even later. A place that has received many awards. It's been recognized by the city for energy conservation and retail excellence. The building has a long and interesting history. First it was known as the Carriage & Baggage Building. This operated from 1886 until the early 1900s. Horse stalls were on the second floor. The building was later the location of the Old Spaghetti Factory, and then a few nightclubs. In 2016 it opened as a market. There's many vendors including Shanghai's Best, which has dumplings and more. Cool place to go drink and eat or to even just look around. It's open daily making it convenient. This is good for a meal, shopping, and other things.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my first experience here. I brought my oldest daughter and she was very pleased. Staff was great and the venue was clean and just a lot of good energy. I definitely wanna come back and try the places I wasn't able to check out
google avatar

Selena N.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the noodle place. I had the vegan garlic noodles and they hit the spot! Really nice to have a a noodle place like this. I've loved here since 2008 and this was the first noodles bowl I've had! The they have other food vendors as well. I'd like to come back to try the tamales. Clean bathrooms too!
google avatar

Thomas M.

Yelp
A very neat concept. I ordered Costa Rican food, mini donuts, and a smoothie, all from different restaurants, all for one meal. The environment is a bit underwhelming, but the food from all three vendors I tried was excellent and the vendors were very nice.

Yelp
My initial impression for a market place (compared to others I've been to) is that it was on the smaller side and didn't have a lot of options but there was variety that's for sure. The establishment was rustic and cozy with a fun layout and lots of seating. Also a great video of the city! ** Matsunoki Ramen ** The food was 10/10 I would totally come back for the ramen. I've just recently in the last 2 years developed a love for (what I like to call "grown up") ramen and I just can't get enough. This dish was on their current seasonal/special menu; absolutely worth the try! The egg was cooked perfectly too. If you've never been to a market place like this before it's set up so that you can choose from a select few different restaurants in one location. You go up to the counter, order your food and pick it up at the window when it's ready. Not much "service" like typical sit down restaurants but the service staff we encountered today were friendly. 100% satisfied with my visit. Looking forward to coming back to check out the other great places inside! Especially the mini donut place!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is cool. We did the cider tour. The seating is wide open and lots of seating and multiple different food choices to pick from the drinks are awesome and this place is older school looking but it's a fun time. We will be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Came in twice on my trip to Portland. The first was Wed evening before July 4th and it was dead. We both got the Thai food and really enjoyed it, but not much of a vibe. I then stopped in to escape the heat on Sunday afternoon at 3, and it's hopping. I got 3 mini donuts which were all delic and a nice cold beer.
google avatar

Julie E.

Yelp
Love the new food hall in downtown Portland. Wish there was a dog friendly area. There were two picnic tables outside in full sun. Parking is a challenge. There's a pay lot for $6/hr but prefer parking kitty on the street if you luck out. Great place to take a group when you have picky eaters or can't agree on a food type. Smoothies, Thai, Ramen, Dumplings and the cutest mini donuts. YUM. They need to bus more often. It's self bussing but the trays were overflowing.
google avatar

Abby J.

Yelp
Food was decent. I wish there were more options, different options. Loved the ambiance but I think I'm stuck on needing more options piece. Overall a decent place to try. I do think this is worth a try. I do plan on coming back here and hoping for something more.
google avatar

Sabrina K.

Yelp
My daughter and I had the mini donuts. They were amazing and the lots of yummy donuts. The service was exceptional.

Yelp
Found this spot on Yelp with 4 stars review so we gave it a try. The food hall is clean and decor looks cute but I have to say the food is just mediocre. Ordered chicken dumplings at the Shanghai's Best dumpling. Dough was good but It was small and barely any meat within. Also ordered Ramen at Marukin Ramen. The flavors are good but a bit salty. I wished there were a bit more noodles. Everything cost extra.
google avatar

Martina B.

Yelp
This review is for Matsunoki Ramen - vegan ramen is too good! Super flavorful, 2 big pieces of tofu, lots of noodles, lots of broth. Servers are also really friendly. Will be back!
google avatar

Martin W.

Yelp
All you can wish for in the neighborhood- a nice indoor market place with restaurant street car style for Mexican, Asian, Mediterranean some sweets and drinks. Perfect for the lunch break or dinner, anything in between if you wanna do that :) Most cravings will be stilled here.

Yelp
Options were slim, but it was an okay experience. Location: It's located in downtown Portland. There is limited street parking in the area. There are a few different restaurants you can order from here. Most of them were closed when I went on a Sunday evening. Food: We went to the dumpling and Mexican spot. The food is pretty decent. Kind of expensive for what it is. They also have one bar in the middle of the space. They have a good variety of beers and stuff. Service: We received good service from all the vendors in the area. Overall, it is a good place if you want multiple options for a meal.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Went to the dumpling place at Pine Street Market. Haven't been here in years just because I'm terrible at parallel parking lol, but they had Dumpling Week in Portland, and this place caught my eye. We ended up ordering all the dumplings! There was the pork, vegan, vegetarian, and chicken dumplings and all were pan fried. The vegetarian and pork dumplings were my favorites. The vegetarian had rice noodles in the filling which added a unique textural element to the bun. The pork was a pretty classic pork fried dumpling. I love the variety of food at this hall. I know some restaurants have changed over the years, so I'm excited to try the newer places! If you don't want to pay for parking, I believe street parking in downtown is free after 7pm!
google avatar

Valdemar Z.

Yelp
The food is generally very tasty from all of the merchants, though there has been some turnover among the merchants, and several of my past favorites are no longer there. Ambiance is very casual, sometimes busy and crowded. I try to go in the off-hours, such as weekday afternoons.
google avatar

Carrie B.

Yelp
When we visit this area, which is within walking distance of Waterfront Park and our condos, we almost always find ourselves here! There is a wide selection of great food and drink establishments! The service is like that of food truck pods...only warmer, drier, and I would say it's cleaner! There are family friendly choices and also plenty to tempt your foodie palate as well! Come out and try the local area businesses! You won't be disappointed!
google avatar

Sandra R.

Yelp
We stopped by at Pine Street Market for dinner after a very busy day. Upon entering, it was almost completely empty - there were about 6 other people. We also noticed that a lot of the food stands were now vacant. Even then, we still had about 4 different food choices (Mexican, Ramen, Dumplings, & American food) + the bar. We opted to share some dumplings and each get a ramen bowl and let me tell you, BEST CHOICE! The ramen had so much flavor, spicy just enough, and so much noodles! I couldn't even finish my entire bowl! The dumplings were also so so good! They were freshly made & were super quick about it! They were steamed to perfection. The bar had multiple drink choices, including a sour - which is already a win! This was probably our favorite place to come eat in our entire trip!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious ramen, quick service! Perfect for a rainy day for lunch. 10/10 would go back.
google avatar

Steven W.

Yelp
A decent size food hall located near the Portland Saturday Market. Variety of cuisines to choose from ranging with Asian, Burgers, Korean, Japanese, Pizza, Coffee, sandwiches, and more. Great decor, earthy, air conditioned, washroom and a good vibe with an open seating cafeteria style.
google avatar

Esther C.

Yelp
There was only one place open on Monday in June 2021. They should really update the page and the website. Also, it was so hot and the AC was not running in the dinning room. It is Summer and it is very hot outside, this is just not okay. If you are going to come here, make sure something is open. Only the Ramen place was open and many of the popular items were sold out. I was excited to try this place so my family could order different items, but what a tragic fail to arrive and only have one place open and it to be hot. The Ramen was really good and the curry too. I'll review them on their own Yelp page.
google avatar

B B.

Yelp
I didn't take any pictures cuz this was a date. The food was tooo salty and was just eh. The only thing that I loved was the smoothie. The curry 6/10 and ramen 8/10 plus the potstickers 5/10 Overall pine street market feels like an aesthetic
google avatar

Natasha P.

Yelp
The ramen at the market food hall is amazing. We ended up spiting the spicy garlic ramen. The flavor of the broth is delicious.
google avatar

Su-jen Y.

Yelp
Sadly some of the stores have closed but there were still plenty of food. We had the spicy ramen from the ramen stall and the pan fried buns from the Shanghainese stall. The ramen was surprisingly good. The char siew was juicy and flavorful. The pan fried buns were really good too, a little greasy but otherwise good flavor. The seating area is very nice.

Aaron B.

Yelp
It's back! Several extremely good restaurants indoors. I particularly like Shanghai's Best. But they are all good. Night and day difference from a couple years ago when they were only a couple restaurants open.
google avatar

Ellen C.

Yelp
Came in for a quick lunch when the market opened up. Food: went to the ramen shop and the taste wasn't bad but the chashu was too tough which was a shame. Service: order and they bring it out to you. Overall: come here for a quick bite but portland does have better options!
google avatar

Traci M.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday during the light festival to have some dumplings during dumpling week. I was severely disappointed by how this place functions, there was about 6 kitchens and only 3 of which that had functioning kitchens. There must be a staffing issue here because every restaurant had a long line and the only options for food were Mexican, burgers, dumplings and a bar. The bar only had one bartender so it took about 20 minutes to get a drink and then an hour a half to get dumplings. The place was not entirely packed the service was just slow. Otherwise I like the decor and the cleanliness of the place. Not sure it'd be my first recommendation for cafeteria style options in Portland.
google avatar

Kim G.

Yelp
Love the concept - an indoor food cart pod - where you and your friends can dine without having to eat the same cuisine. But the execution falls short. It is sooo dark inside and the way everything is situated, you have to squeeze in and around people and lines and tables just to see the various food options. It's super casual, you bus your own tables, which I am fine with, but don't expect a 20% tip. Came here when they first opened, then a year later, and again the other day. Still have the same perspective. None of the food options have me wanting to come back and everything about the environment begs for me to finish eating so we can get out to the light and the air. When I'm walking past Pine Street Market on my way home from the Portland Saturday Market, I will stop in Salt & Straw to grab a waffle ice cream sandwich in the to-go freezer or a pint of their salted caramel brittle. As for having a meal, far better food choices and better atmosphere everywhere.
google avatar

Lana S.

Yelp
This food hall looked so amazing! I was so excited to try this place out. We came in on a cold night and I ofcourse wanted to try the ramen place out. Waking around there is everything you could dream of! They had pizza, burger, Peruvian chicken etc. After I ordered my ramen I sat down and waited near by. The ramen came out pretty quickly. This ramen had no fancy toppings just noodles, two small pieces of pork belly, an egg and some green onion. Very simple but everything was done to perfection. Noodles were great, the broth was very flavorful, pork belly was tender and mouth watering. Yummmm great bowl of ramen. I was super impressed. The only sad thing is we never got to go back to try any of the other places! One day when we return I'll def. Come back here :)
google avatar

Sophia H.

Yelp
I got a Taco Trio from the Teote Outpost (one of the few places still open after the other and more popular places closed down. Disappointing!). The tacos were on flour tortilla with 3 different proteins: smoky pollo (chicken), el diablo (pork belly), and pabellon (beef). They were meh all right. Chicken was the most flavorful and juiciest, while pork and beef were okay. There could've been more veggies, and the plaintain sauce was out, which I think would've made a huge difference. Oh well.
google avatar

Yelp
Pine Street Market is what every food hall in Denver dreams of being, but will never become. Great food, great variety, and a lively environment that invites good conversation - that's what you'll find at PSM. We loved the ramen here, but we were very tempted by the pizza as well. The cashiers are super hipster and couldn't give two craps about your business, but I think that's more Portland food hall than it is a reflection on PSM. We loved the overall vibe here and had no problems finding a seat for a late lunch at an unpopular time. Whenever we're in downtown Portland-ish, we wouldn't hesitate to stop back in to PSM.
google avatar

Yelp
Yummmmm. So good! We got here at 9am and there was already a line. It honestly went by fast though so no big deal. We each ordered our own thing, and shared a Marion berry pop tart! The food is definitely filling. I think I'm set on eating any chicken and biscuits for the remainder of the year haha. This place filled my craving for the long run! Marion berry pop tart was super good. Not too sweet and served warm!! It also looks great in photos haha. My cousin got the chicken pot pie. Was super excited to see that here. That was really satisfying and a good portion size for a hungry person. The rest of us got the standard biscuit with fried chicken and gravy. Pretty good gravy to biscuit ratio. Flavorful. Everything complemented each other well!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is great - one of the first places I went to during my visit! I was hungry and needed to eat after a flight and YES, this place hit the spot! Pine Street Market had a very similar vibe to another market place @ home. I could see this place being very convenient/fun for big, small groups and dates. The market place offers a variety of cuisines/food choices which makes it great for groups who have folks who might want different things! And ooofff how cute would this place would be if you took a date? You got beer + food + dessert! What I got: Ramen: At first, I was hesitant, but when I had my first slurp, it was LOVE. At first I thought I didn't have enough broth(YES! Broth was that good!) but as I got to the end of the bowl, I realized that the broth proportion was enough because I was SO FULL. Even though I was full, there's always room for dessert! I got a soft serve topped with burnt caramel, white chocolate topping. And even though it looks like a pile of poop, it tasted AMAZING! 100% am coming back to Pine Market next time I visit Portland!
google avatar

Amy L.

Yelp
I was here on a short Portland trip, and didn't have many meals available. I'm glad I made this one of my stops, the ramen was awesome. I'm vegetarian and ordered one of the spicy ones per their recommendation. Cons: I spent $2 on half and egg, and the ramen took a while to make. Though it was totally worth the wait. I wish they also had vegetarian gyoza on the menu!
google avatar

Shannon C.

Yelp
This place was a disappointment. Not as many food vendors as I expected & the vibe was kind of boring. Definitely prefer going to the food cart pods instead.

Tiana H.

Yelp
Small, 6 vendor food hall. There was Mexican, Asian and Mediterranean options; along with a bar. The drinks at the bar weren't great, and were honestly some of the most expensive drinks we had during our visit to the city. Skip the small donuts, they're cute but expensive for $1 each, and overly sweet.
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
We went here hoping for a multitude of options but on our visit in July 2022 there wasn't much to write home about. There's plenty of seating inside but the place was nearly empty when we went if that's any indication. We got some beers which were very tasty and debated between our choices of Mexican, Chinese dumplings, or Japanese ramen. I got ramen and my partner got the dumplings. The ramen was lackluster and didn't come with an egg. I tried the vegan broth and it was almost tasteless although the pork belly it came with was tasty. The dumplings were standard pork dumplings with a thick skin. Seating is self serve and bust yourself. For bathroom access you need to talk to a staff member to get a pin code. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Overall I wasn't impressed by this food court and think there are much better options after we went out to explore other restaurants, food trucks, and breweries in the area. I would say skip unless you're already here and don't want to hunt for another food option.
google avatar

Kev O.

Yelp
We don't get a lot of these cool urban food courts back home, so this was an exciting experience just getting to be in one....these urban industrial done up places just have such a cool vibe to them.....and as such, you can expect they'd be a pretty darn popular eating spot for many downtowners. There's a good selection of bar food/drinks, ramen, burgers, pizza, taco/burrito, Korean fusion, and ice cream outlets inside, so lots of choice. The only problem with this place is that it was super crowded and the music blasting overhead was just too loud to allow any kind of civilized conversation with your party. We had originally wanted to try the ramen here.....you can watch them making it in the open kitchen before your very eyes, but decided for something less carby at dinner time. We then tried to place an order for some rotisserie chicken at Pollo Bravo, but they were all out. So we ended up going with a Smoky Pollo Taco and Burrito at the Teote Outpost. Hmmm, I'll try and stay positive here......really appreciated that the chicken was shredded instead of sliced or cubed like most places at home.....it's usually moist, holds its marinade flavor better, and easier to chew. Yes, these were easy to bite into, but there was hardly any real flavor to them.....all we tasted was salt......pretty disappointing. It's hard to give a more complete review of this place without trying the other offerings, but being the July 4 holiday period, some of the eateries were closed. Oh well, maybe next visit.

Yelp
This is one of the best food halls I've visited! The Pine Street Market features many well-known Portland-only eateries, so whatever you choose here, it's gonna be good and you're exploring what Portland has to offer, all in one setting. We visited Pine Street Market for lunch and was pleased to find so many awesome options to choose from, with old favorites to ones I've never tried before. For cuisines, the food hall has a little bit of everything, from Korean BBQ, to rotisserie chicken, ramen, soft-serve, etc... Once you order from an eatery you're given a beeper of when your food is ready to be picked up. You can pretty much sit anywhere, as the space is open. Some of the eateries have their own seating/counter space to sit at, but much of it is communal seating. I'm glad we visited Pine Street Market, conveniently located in downtown Portland around many other tourist and popular spots in town. I would recommend visiting Pine Street Market to get a snack or bite to eat, or even just to hang out, as it really is an awesome community space.

Yelp
I must preface this by saying I did not eat or drink here. I came in with the family to grab a bite and a drink thinking we would have some options. There were 2 places open, a taco and burrito place and a pork bun place. Nothing against either spot but I was hoping for at least 5 or 6 places to choose from. Hope to to try it another time I visit the area

Kathlene S.

Yelp
The place is nice and clean and lots of seating area which is why it's getting greater than one star. Decided to get some pork buns from Shanghai's Best and it was dismal. Tasted old and inside the meatball was slimy. Honestly the frozen pork buns from your local Asian grocery store would have tasted way better than what I got.
google avatar

Laura H.

Yelp
Cool spot, had the ramen while i was there, which was really good . A little empty on a Sunday which I didn't mind.

Regina I.

Yelp
Man what happen to this place? The only redeeming place to eat is at Teote! Don't do the dumplings they are garbage.. If you want dumplings head to the Duck house for some real flavor!!! This is a total miss!
google avatar

Matthew B.

Yelp
Used to be great. Now at least half the food vendors have left, and the ones that are left are pretty sad. Feels run down, and dying. You know the vibe, like a once amazing spot that just can't hold onto the magic anymore. Unless they get it filled back up with some exciting new spots I would avoid this one.

Yelp
Ate at Tavli and the chicken pita with beets was delicious! Very clean Nice staff Is the food came out very fast

Yelp
Perfect time to hit up PS Market, Memorial Day Happy Hour, plenty of seating spots and parking was free today! Start with a $6 Bergamot Old Fashioned from OP on rocks with lemon twist. Over to Marukin's $4 curry, it's bomb, spicy and meat packed dressed with addictive pickled bright red ginger specks, and across the way, a 10 min wait lands you a $3 Kids Dip in a cone or cup (.95 savings). Dip means your soft serve, here roasted coconut strawberry is coated with flavor choice, honey lavender, sweet on the outside and just the right amount of tart fresh berry in. Checkerboard Pizza had $3 pepperoni, the mini disc kind with superior flavor compared to Hormel, and cracker crust, Hubby pleased, and some wicked looking raspberry croissants that deserve a drive-by next trip, downed with a chai rum from Brass Bar Coffee. I also spied some Kim Jong Grillin' steamed pork buns for $3 and $6 Pollo Bravo pork roast romesco sammie for Round 2. Fabbo inaugural sit down, can't wait for next time!

Yelp
Fun venue... several great choices. Needs more seating tho! My son had the Ramen... he loved it! They were super friendly there too! Other boy had the pork buns at king jung... I stole a bite! The pickles and sauce on it were delicious! Hubbie ate at Olympia and liked the Schnitzel sandwich. I had the pork loin sandwich at the pollo place and a delicious mule! Yum.. the griddled cheese on the sandwich made it! We all finished with ice cream at the Wizbangbar... yum! The goat cheese jalapeño ice dream was surprisingly tasty!
