Thanks to a hotels manager Cyril who went beyond to make sure our stay is memorable. We enjoyed our time mostly because we felt everything hotel could help with they were happy to provide, reception stuff were great as well.Weather was not good, so we couldn’t enjoy outside facilities much, but we loved the indoor pool. Best hotel in Guangzhou, we went to Ritz afterwards and it’s not even close couldn’t be compared. So if you think to prolong your stay or try another hotel, don’t think twice 😂. It’s really the best. We will be back ❤️

Great location for Canton fair. Rooms looking bit tired and need upgrade. Breakfast and restaurants food is all good no need to go out of hotel if don t want to. Drink service staff very in experienced hopefully improve over time. Pool and gym excellent as are the grounds.

We went to the Shangri-La for their beautiful outdoor pool, but it was under renovations. We’ve stayed at this hotel many times, but this is the first time it felt outdated. Our initial room smelled of mold, but we were kindly switched to a better room. Overall, it’s an okay hotel. The outdoor pool is really nice, especially when it is available.

Stayed one night with my son. Room itself is old and outdated but the outdoor facilities are perfect for my three years old. There are plenty of green space and outdoor playgrounds, I just wish that outdoor pool is open but it would be excited to comeback and use the outdoor pool! Breakfast is amazing !!! Love love love. Definitely come back this summer

We stayed at their place for a few days for business purposes. Very good location for the exhibition center. But far away for visits or traveling with family.|The accommodation is ok, but I have experienced much better in other locations of this hotel chain. We chose it because we knew what the accommodation and service at Shangri-La should be like, but it seems our expectations were too high.|I arrived in the evening, quite late, but I found one of the restaurants open and I could eat there. An enjoyable dining experience.|Breakfast quite poor for international guests, too focused on Chinese food. Complicated to choose what to eat several days in a row...|Friendly English speaking reception staff.

It was our first time in Guangzhou. Being regulars at Shangri-la hotels, Shangri-la Guangzhou was a natural choice. ||We opted for the Horizon Club room having had good experience at this chain’s lounge privileges. The service at the lounge was top notch especially by Cherry, Edison and Sylvia. We love the Pearl River view room on the 32nd floor and breakfast and evening cocktail and canapés at the lounge. ||The hotel is a tad far from the attractions but easily accessible via DiDi. Well done to the team at the Horizon Club lounge.

Disappointing stay, cannot pretend to stay as unforgettable memories..... limited amenities in the room, not even a comb...! 100% empty mini bar, swimming pool is absolutely not clean, with many swimmers allowed splitting all around the pool making the place very unsanitary, triggering fungal infection right after the swimm...! in room dining mini program not allowing digital payment.....but just credit cards.... hence the need to stop ordering virtually and then go to the phone to get your order set and when delivered , to be paid upon delivery...., many things were pretty unseamless experience in this hotel, wonder why it can be can under the shangrila brand.... not to the expected standards overalll

Check in was very slow and chaotic with people jumping in front of others. F&F was horrendous. Lobby lounge, japanese and Ribs all very slow and totally inattentive service. japanse brought hamachi not Tuna, the hot saki was cold and to get anthiig had to get up go to the check in desk and ask! No one pays attention to you in any F&B area. This is not a ShangriLa level property - very poorly managed. ShanriLa Orchard Road Singapore 9.9. Shangri LA Pudong Shanghai 8.9 Dongguan a 1.0
