Sharetea sets an opening date in the Southwest - Eater Vegas

"Fans of black and pearl milk tea will soon have two local outposts to order a full menu of beverages created with ingredients imported from Taipei, Taiwan. Sharetea is on track to debut in Chinatown’s Shangahi Plaza within a few weeks, but a different management team has already set a “grand opening” date for its location in Southern Highlands. Created in 1992 and now expanded to more than 500 global outposts, Sharetea will debut at the Cactus Marketplace retail center, located at the intersection of Cactus Avenue and Decatur Boulevard, on April 6. Moving into suite 150, it joins a Don Tortaco Mexican Grill and recent arrival breakfast and lunch specialists New Day Cafe. Yet to reveal future opening hours, both locations will serve tea custard desserts, including red bean, or black tea choices, plus the brand’s menu of fruit, “creama,” and hot and iced drinks. Among its “top 10” most popular options, a “passion fruit with yakult” creation, taro and fresh milk, oolong milk with lychee jelly, and the Okinawa pearl milk tea." - Bradley Martin

Highly recommended! Don’t miss this spot when you’re in Taipei. It’s really popular — I waited 20 minutes for my tea. This branch is near Taipei Main Station, right by the roadside, not far from Exit Z2. I tried the Fifteen Jasmine Flowers tea, both pure and with milk. They were great! Rich jasmine flavor with a well-balanced tea base — light, smooth, and easy to drink.

UG Uni Green is one of the best bubble tea shops I’ve ever tried. The staff are friendly and speak English fluently, making it easy to order and ask questions. The tea here is incredibly fragrant, and the balance between the tea and milk flavors is just perfect. I love their fresh milk series because it’s not too creamy, so the taste of the tea really stands out. Even with 50% sweetness, the drinks are just right—sweet enough to enjoy but not overpowering. What also caught my eye is their beautiful cup and bag design, which adds a stylish touch to the whole experience. The service is impressively fast; I never have to wait long, even during busy hours.

I am not sure if this is right store for UG tea. The 铁观音 is a bit weak. But overall milk tea is ok

Sharetea has become a world-class sensation. What better place to savour the experience than to take the pilgrimage back to the original Sharetea location. Here, memories are stirred of drinks sipped long ago, of dense and flavourful teas mixed with rich milky goodness, paired with chewy tapioca semi-sweet pearls. This was the birthplace of pearl milk teas worldwide. You can find Sharetea across the sea, but there is only one original Sharetea. If you are a bbt fan, you need to have one from the source of Sharetea goodness.

Long line and not much English could be spoken or understood. Top tier boba and a staple. They also don’t accept credit cards.

This is the original Share Tea shop. It's a pretty small shop near the main train terminal in downtown Taipei city. It's in an area with a lot of little shops. I ordered the basic milk tea with boba. The taste is very similar to the one in US. The boba is slightly soggy similar to the ones in US. The tea came out very quickly and was generally pretty good.
