Yelp
After hours of working on the house, our family wanted to go out for pizza. We didn't want to go to a chain and we definitely wanted something unique and near the strand and sure enough, Yelp's search brought this place up.
We decided to give it a try because the reviews on both Yelp and Google were 4/5. We walked in and there was a few folks at the bar, one lady with a dog but no one really at the restaurant. It was really rainy and cold, and you know Texans don't like either and avoid this combination all together, but we didn't want to cook and we made the trek there.
After suiting for a bit, the owner came up and introduced himself and you could just tell that he was so passionate about this establishment. He gave us a grand tour, talked about the wall art, the location, the history of the place. He and talked about the establishment's initiation and how their brick oven was designed and brought in from Italy! He also mentioned that their food was made from scratch in house! How cool!
We really liked this place and the pizza was just the cherry on top. We had 2 Big Fred's Pizza and they were delicious. I do have to say that there could have been more sauce in the pizza, but I did ask for it as a side, and it was great.
And I guess I was hungry but the pizzas couldn't come fast enough, but when it did I was very satisfied! I will definitely be bringing my family here for some good pizza and walk are for sure.
