Sharky's Waterfront Grill

Pretty cool location that sits right on the lake with beautiful views of the lake. It was storming the day we went, so we got to see how the rain rolled across the lake. There's also an open patio with one wall open to the lake view. The service was fast and friendly. Our food was pretty good. The hush puppies and fondue were really good. We will definitely be back.

Visited for the first time on a sunny beautiful day, we were promptly seated in their patio area. Service and atmosphere were really nice. The patio gave a relaxing vibe to our dining experience and the view was amazing as well. I got the Mahi-mahi tacos with a side of fries and I also tried their pipeline PoBoys. Delicious !! The restaurant gave a nice beachy vibe and everyone was friendly. Restrooms were clean and I enjoyed my meal a lot! What a nice place!! Highly recommended for anyone craving a tasty seafood dish!!!

Went to eat at Sharky‘s tonight and Service was awesome my server Alexandra was Great answered all our questions and made our experience at Sharky‘s awesome. We will definitely be coming back. I recommend the burgers they were delicious.

What an incredible dining experience! The restaurant is right next to the lake, and the view alone is worth the visit—absolutely stunning, especially around sunset. To top it off, the service was excellent. Alexandra was our server and she was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly without ever feeling rushed. The food was delicious, and the drinks were perfectly made. Between the scenery, the service, and the quality of the meal, this was truly a memorable evening. Highly recommend!

Clearly a busy night upon arrival. We requested a lake-side table and the hostess said it would be a 10-15 min wait. We asked to wait at the bar and she said that would be fine. The bar was vacant but there was evidence of a busy night as the bar top was filthy. I made a joke about it to the bartender and we had a laugh. He did not wipe anything down or apologize. About 20 min later we received notice our table was ready. We sat, ordered with our first waiter.. then our next waitress greeted us. She was confused when we mentioned we had been helped already. We noticed several neighboring vacant tables that needed bussing, which remained in the state they were in, for the duration of our visit. We both ordered burgers cooked “medium”. Our wait time for food was fine, and our waiter was pleasant, however after receiving our food we noticed we had no silverware. We waited for quite a while before asking a different waitress for silverware who apologized and then forgot about us. I ended going inside to the bar to request silverware from the bartender. About halfway into my burger I noticed it was quite “rare”. It Tasted good so I finished half but became concerned before continuing. All neighboring tables still un-bussed at this moment. Our waiter began bussing the table closest to us and I requested the manager. She arrived promptly and was polite. She asked me to verify I wanted my burger Medium Rare.. our waiter corrected her that we asked for medium. The waiter took a look and apologized describing the burger as “blue rare”. The point is, the burger was near raw on the inside. The manger requested she bring my burger to the kitchen to show the staff what had been done. She did not return to our table after. Eventually the waiter brought our check with the burger comped and apologized. … And that was the end of it. We left. We have been fond regulars of this restaurant until this point. Hopefully this was just a strange isolated incident. If I don’t get sick I will consider returning..

I had an amazing experience at Sharky’s on Wednesday, and we came in nearing their close time a big part of that was thanks to Kendall’s exceptional service. From the moment we were seated, Kendall was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. She made great menu recommendations, kept our drinks full without us having to ask, and checked in just the right amount—always around when needed, but never intrusive. What really stood out was her positive energy and how effortlessly she managed everything with a smile, even during a busy time. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and cares about giving guests a great experience. Highly recommend stopping by—and if you get Kendall as your server, you’re in for a great time!

My husband and I had the most incredible time at this enchanting restaurant nestled by the serene lake. The outdoor setting was absolutely breathtaking, with the gentle breeze rustling through the trees and the melodic symphony of nature providing a picturesque backdrop for our dining experience. The air was wonderfully crisp, invigorating our senses and enhancing the overall feeling of tranquility. As for the food, it was nothing short of exceptional - each dish was a delightful explosion of flavors and the ingredients were incredibly fresh. We are eagerly looking forward to returning and immersing ourselves once again in the stunning view of the lake. Our journey all the way from Sugar Land was truly worth it! 10/10.

The food was as to be expected. The view was soothing as we sat outside. Some music outside could make it better, in my opinion.

I just went here for a appetizer,desserts and drinks. I did not get to review it. I'll go back and enjoy the full experience because the service and ambience is nice. The patio chairs and tables can use updates though. I will re review!

3 of us arrived by jetski's Saturday morning at 1051. Told by host they open in 9 minutes, but asked if we could sit outside. ( nice Fall day ) Was told we needed to wait. Walked outside by other restaurants and when the Taco place at end saw us, they opened the door, welcomed us and said. Good morning, come on in at 10:53am. Guess where we ate? We didn't get to sit outside, but we got a friendly staff eager to greet us, great margaritas and Mexican food at a good price. And we got back to riding on the water to enjoy the day Maybe next time Sharkys!

Another review where I find myself outside of my usual areas for food. I was with family this Labor Day and was looking for a restaurant after our visit to Angel Lagoon. From our search, we decided to visit Sharky's Waterfront Grill. This was about a 30 min drive. From the initial visit, I was definitely surprised of the location of the restaurant. It is overlooking Lake Houston and also in a nice shopping center. We were a big party and couldn't pass up on the view outside. The staff are nice and attentive. We started off with the fried okra and calamari. They were nicely fried and light and the sauces were great compliments to add that nice flavor touch. I did something counterintuitive and seeing a majority is seafood on the menu, I went with The Great White Shark burger. What drew me was the name but also the little excerpt that read "not for wimps" I definitely was up for the challenge and my parents did not raise a wimp. That Great White Shark burger is huge with the works plus bacon and cheese. You definitely would need to be like a Great White Shark and devour it like Jaws haha. In short, I enjoyed it. Overall I enjoyed the visit to Sharky's Waterfront Grill. Nice area, nice view, and definitely worth breaking the seafood restaurant rule to pick the burger. No concerning remarks but I would like to see how they are on a typical day where the area is much busier since we visited on a holiday. If you are in the Kingwood area, it's a good visit. You do not need to bring your harpoon for any sharks in the water, just your appetite.

Nice ambiance and scenery if you sit outside. If you walk outside you might even spot some turtles. It was busy when we arrived but the wait time wasn't long. There's also a parking garage if you can't find street parking. As an appetizer we tried the tostada ceviche. It has jalapeños so it was a like spicy. They're not heavy as an appetizer which is good. The fish was a bit salty though. I got the macadamia crusted mahi-mahi which was very good and it was a good sized piece. I also got to try the salmon, which I thought was good but the person that ate it right it was a little over done. It's a great place with a good sized bar with tvs to watch sports. The drinks sounded good but I didn't get to try them but I'll be back to check them out. Everyone that works there was nice and attentive.

Excellent place, spacious and comfortable, great service and good food for sure. Daniel is a very nice and a great waiter, super attentive and fast. We will be back for more! *couple days late we came back for some delicious blackened cat fish and Key Lime Pie, super delicious! Sydney is awesome as well.

Came here for lunch. The weather was nice so we ate out on the patio. They had fans to provide a nice breeze. There is a beautiful view of the lake. There was a lunch special and a happy hour menu. I went for the beer battered fish and chips. They provide a healthy portion but could have used more fries. The fish was cooked perfectly. We had fondue for an appetizer and it was really good. The server was very attentive and got everything right. Perfect for a casual lunch date.everyone else said their food was very good.

Some friends and had a nice lunch out on the patio. Everything was nice, we had a good server who kept our glasses full and took care of everything

Great spot for casual lunch, happy hour, or dinner! It's right on the water and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking isdirectly in front of the restaurant. The food here is yummy! They have seafood and bar food. It's quick, casual, and tasty. They have a really fun drink menu as well!

I love coming here for the coconut shrimp and cocktails!! Our server Chyenne is always amazing! She takes great care of us and is so kind and quick! Can't wait to be back!

Although we eat out often, we hadn't been to Shark'y's in a few years. The time from ordering to receiving our food was long. But the coconut shrimp and dipping sauce was really good. My son had the fried shrimp and chicken tenders. He really enjoyed them. My husband had delicious shrimp scampi! I love being able to eat and look out on the waterfront. I look forward to trying some of the lunch specials soon.

My family and I have been coming here for years and the food is always great!! Decided to try something new and ordered the white shark broiled platter and it was a 10/10, so flavorful and their rice is amazing as well. Service can be just a tad slower at times but the food makes up for it. Very chill ambience and great place for a casual get together or a family meal. Right on the water with an amazing view of lake Houston, you can sit inside or they have patio seating. There are parking spaces around or you can park in the complimentary parking garage near the restaurant.

Food was pretty good, staff nice and cute. Love the lake view. Great ambiance. We will be back.

Service here is hit or miss miss miss... Recent visit were told by Natalie the host it was a five minute wait, but the restaurant wasn't busy. It was 20% full lots of available seats and employees standing around. Indoor and some outdoor seating is available. Food is mediocre, but the outside seating view is nice when the weather permits. Also, parking here is limited.

Our first trip to Sharkys, but we are planning to be regular visitors! The location is beautiful, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the food!! OUT OF THIS WORLD!

This is the perfect spot if you want some fun drinks on a patio! They have a great view of the water, too. Happy hour goes until 6, deals on drinks and apps! I ordered the fried pickles which normally come with ranch. I asked for an extra side of the chipotle sauce and I'm so glad I did!! That dipping sauce is sooooo good!! The drinks are stiff for sure but still really good!! They have fun fish bowl drinks for 2+ people too! Fun and large drink! The brownie was a m a z i n g ! I got it to go and it was great right away and also great later on!!

Food was great! Service can be hit or miss but this time was great service. We always order the sane dishes.

Sharky's is a solid choice in King's Harbor! It's right near the water, with both indoor and outdoor seating. It's especially enjoyable to go when it's a beautiful day because you can walk around King's Harbor and the pier before or after your meal. As you can guess by the name of the restaurant, this place is great for seafood. I always get their salmon wrap, it hits the spot every time! I've always had great service here too. It's a casual environment. Parking right outside the parking lot can be challenging, but they have a free parking garage only a few steps away!

The food is always good at Sharkys! They have the best coconut shrimp with their plum sauce. I always order the sweet potato fries and the sharkys rice. The flavor is very consistent. Our server Russell was very nice and helpful answering questions. They also have a great lunch menu.

Good and service were great. Had the coconut shrimp and spouse had shrimp scampi. Both were delicious. As it was our first visit, received the hush puppy appetizer was complimentary. Definitely would try again!

Hamburger was delicious, and I ordered the sweet potato fry that I enjoyed, also de waitress was very attentive and nice.

the food was good but the service was horrible. the server left went across the street to a boutique to shop. no tea refills. if they had have been busy it would have been understandable but there was only a few people in restaurant

A nice family restaurant right on Lake Houston, Sharky's in one of many restaurants in this plaza that offers lake side dining. This is a theme restaurant, with the theme being sharks. From the decor to the food names, sharks make their presence here. Being on the lake, one can request lake side outdoor seating on a good weather day. Unfortunately there are no heat lamps by the lake side tables. The menu consists of a lot of fried options and grilled options. I shared a the Shark Bites appetizer and ordered the Surfside combo for my main. I was allowed to swap out the rice for a Caesar salad, which I appreciated. The shark bites were tasty enough. I requested my catfish blackened, and it came out beautifully seasoned and cooked. I really enjoyed the green beans and carrots mixed vegetables that accompanied the fish. The interior possesses a bar area, perfect for catching the latest sports game. Overall a nice casual place to catch a meal.

Food was excellent, but service was a little slow. I would certainly return and try the Baja fish tacos. We had Fish n Chips which were excellent!!!

Went here for date night. Food was nice, although I do wish staff was able to recommend more when prompted. Other than that, we had a great time.

We've been here a couple of times while visiting family in the Houston area. The food has always been consistently great, as well as the service. It's a casual atmosphere with aquariums that my grandson really enjoyed.

We sat inside and had a wonderful view of the lake. Service was great. Food came out in a timely manner. Was hot and tasty. Good value for the price.

It was ok, the food was kinda pricey and the quantity that your given wasn't really all of that. It's just a decent seafood place in a market that doesn't have that much competition. I would probably eat here again, just won't be the top of my list.

100/10 my favorite drink in the world! Key lime martini is my newest obsession!! The food here is wonderful, not one bad thing! We come here every time my mom comes into town for their salmon salad with ranch. It's easily top 3 restaurant that we go to with friends, for birthdays, or date nights!

I have been living in Kingwood for almost a year now and just found this restaurant after a google search for 'seafood near me.' I enjoyed a Jack Daniels mule and a fish and shrimp dinner at the bar. Everything was served fresh and in a timely manner. The atmosphere was casual and had good music playing. There is outside seating to enjoy the water view. When it warms up I will be out there to enjoy it.

New to the area We were looking for a place that serves fish and chips and decided to give this place a try. Upon arrival we stood in line and was advised by the not so friendly hostess that there was a 20 minute wait (no big deal) was told they would text us once our table was ready. We waited outside to enjoy the great weather that day and after about 30 mins we decided to go back in and see how much longer. Hostess looked at me and said ohh I guess we can sit you now(what happened to the text) Hostess that day provided terrible customer service. However, once seated we did receive good food and service from Jasmine. All the waiters were walking around with a somber demeanor.

Sad to say that we won't be back. Haven't been in years and thought we'd give it a try again, as we always loved it. Food was really good before. Tonight we had a Sharkrita (watery and very little taste), calamari (tasted frozen and was dry), coconut shrimp (no taste and the fries were really sad), mahi mahi tacos (only thing that was decent). Service was fine. Music had some explicit lyrics that the manager said he would remedy. Very disappointing experience.

Very good service. Had an excellent salmon dinner. My only complaint would be that they evidently don't subscribe to Amazon, so they did not have the Thursday night football game televised. Two of the three screens showed a hockey game and the third showed a food show

The view from the patio of sharky's is awesome. We love hanging out by the river, the food is yummy and fun. The staff show such kindness and familiarity. It's a great time all around.

Decided to check this place out on a Saturday night but it did not meet my expectations. Location was great right off the water but the food was just really bad. Literally frozen fish and vegetables with no flavor. The only thing that was good was the gator bites and dr. Pepper. Rachel, my server was great however. She managed to get the laker game on for me but be aware that all TVs are synced together so for some strange reason all TVs can only play the same game

Food is great, atmosphere is welcoming. Staff is attentive, I enjoy visiting this place.
