I’m really disappointed with our experience at Sharky’s Waterfront. We waited almost an hour just to be seated. Once we finally sat down, we waited another 20 minutes with zero acknowledgment from any server. We had to flag down a passing waitress just to ask for help, and even she said she didn’t know who was supposed to be taking care of our table — but said she would at least take drink orders.
Another 20 minutes passed before anyone returned, and when they did, it was just waters, one drink for my friend, and the wrong beer for me. When I tried to return it to a different waiter, he didn’t even reach to grab it — I literally had to hand it to him myself. Then we waited another 15–20 minutes… still no correct drink.
At that point, I went to ask for the manager. When she came over, I explained everything, and she didn’t even apologize. I told her we didn’t want to wait anymore and we would be leaving for another restaurant. She only said the food was “almost ready” if we wanted it to go, which we declined. Then she charged us for one beer anyway.
Overall, the experience was terrible — and what makes it worse is this is the second week in a row we’ve had awful service here. We’ve always liked Sharky’s Waterfront, so I told the manager I was hoping they would correct whatever is going on, because they can definitely do better. But after this, I’m not sure we’ll be coming back.
