"Set in Hammonton with a majestic outdoor setting and a spacious, airy indoor bar with vineyard views, Sharrott is a family-owned vineyard, winery, and wine bar where friendly, knowledgeable staff guide tastings that range from light, easy dry reds and whites made from international and hybrid grapes to bolder reserve styles and sweeter, fruit-forward offerings like the Just Peachy sangria; the bar serves a full food menu and the winery is open seven days a week." - Eater

Such a pretty place. It's got a big indoor building with plenty of seating like a restaurant. The food is really good and they have a variety of options. Also lots of options for wine flights. I did a signature flight where you can pick your own and I loved a few of them so the wine is definitely good. I went on a rainy day but the grounds and outdoor seating look like it would be very nice on a sunny day. They were busy on a Sunday near closing time. It was far from my location but I would come back it's worth the drive.

Gorgeous place with super friendly staff and great food/wine. This was my first time here and our waiter Frank was the best. What a cool dude. He was very attentive and professional but still joked around with us, which I always love. We dined inside but the big windows still let you see the scenery and gorgeous sunset. The spicy pepperoni flatbread was amazing and so was the cheese board. The crimson sky and winter spice were our favorites. Can’t wait to sip on winter spice during the colder months. We will be back for sure!

Warm, Welcoming, and Wonderfully Delicious! My daughter and I visited Sharrott Winery for the first time yesterday, and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. We were greeted warmly by the hostess, who immediately brought us over to the wine station to begin our tasting. We started at the wine bar, where we were guided by Dana—our incredibly knowledgeable and friendly wine host (or wine connoisseur!). He made the tasting fun and informative. As part of their process, we each sampled six different wines, and Dana helped us understand and appreciate the unique characteristics of each one. Midway through, another staff member named Jen stopped by to chat and complimented my daughter on her graphic tee. She was so down-to-earth and personable—and we later found out she’s the manager! It was clear that everyone there takes pride in creating a welcoming environment. After our 45-minute tasting, we waited just a few moments for our reserved table. While we were standing nearby, we overheard a waiter offer a quicker seating option, but the hostess thoughtfully replied, “No, I’m pretty sure they want to sit by the window, so go ahead and get that one cleaned and ready.” That small gesture—without us even asking—truly stood out. I only wish I had caught her name so I could personally thank her in this review. We chose the indoor seating, which was cozy and inviting. We each ordered a glass of our favorite wine from the tasting, along with the pretzel bites with cheese and the cheese plate—both were absolutely delicious. Our server Mia was excellent—attentive without being overbearing, and her check-ins felt perfectly timed. The service was thoughtful, the staff genuinely kind, and the atmosphere relaxed but professional. We ended up purchasing a few bottles to take home, and we haven’t stopped talking about the experience since. It was a five-star visit in every way. We’ve already recommended Sharrott Winery to friends and can’t wait to come back soon!

Sharrot Winery – A Go-To Spot for Great Food, Views & Vibes Sharrott Winery never disappoints. I’ve been here many, many times, and every visit is a reminder of why it’s one of my favorite local spots. During our latest Sunday brunch visit, we indulged in several favorites. The pretzel bites were, as always, delicious—definitely best enjoyed warm, especially with the cheese dip that complements them perfectly. We also shared the Haro Ranchos skillet, avocado toast, and ended on a sweet note with a decadent red velvet cake, which was one of their specials that day. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared, making it clear why their food stands out among other wineries in the area for food. For drinks, we chose to go the DIY mimosa route by ordering a bottle of Brut Champagne (about $36) and a few juices (around $3 each). It was a smart choice—being able to customize our mimosas to taste was a fun and flexible touch, and I’d definitely recommend it.

I had an amazing day at the winery. As a mobile, Bartending company, I have been introduced to Sharott wines at some of our New Jersey’s clients events. I was super excited that my girlfriends wanted to go for a Summers sip. Thank you for making the August babies birthdays, special and we will be returning with more girlfriends!

Google
So overall the drive is roughly 45-55 mins from Philadelphia (depending on where your traveling from. Love the atmosphere! It has a farm filled with horses and you can see where their wine is being made. Staff is very friendly and they have a variety of wine you and yours can try. Prices are very fair! Overall an enjoyable experience!

Google
I have been here twice. This place is a hit or miss. Ambiance: 2/5, loud/echoes-cafeteria like Staff: 3/5, too many people at the front Food: 3/5, overpriced for quality Wine: 4/5 (better than William Heritage & White Horse, maybe comparable to Laurita) 1st time here was mid 2024 (3.5/5 stars). The wines were good (4/5 stars) so we bought a couple bottles and food was good (5/5)… but the staff/waitress (1/5) rushed us and emphasized the 1.5 hr table limit multiple times although we were doing both a wine tasting and having dinner (2hrs min should be the limit). Mind you there was only 2 of us so we weren’t a big party taking up too much room. We did end up finishing 10 minutes before the 1.5hr mark. Because of staff we didn’t rush back. 2nd time visiting Sharrott (mid 2025) I called to confirm they had food during our reservation time but they didnt answer. They called me back but hung up immediately, resulting in me calling a 2nd time. When we go there, there were at least 4 ladies up front. Why is it difficult getting someone on the phone while there’s more than enough people standing around. Other than that, This time staff were friendly and didn’t rush us. There were multiple large parties that were very loud and the acoustics made it echo louder. It made for a non-relaxed tasting. We tried different wines from the last time and liked at least half of them but a couple tasted low quality and syrupy. 3/5 I am not sure about the quality of their ingredients and additives because they seem sweetened with artificial syrups instead of real spices but i could be wrong. This time the food was disappointing and made me not want to eat there again. Maybe a new chef? Would NOT RECOMMEND the red snapper. I paid $29 for red snapper (entree size) so i expected it to be served like an entree and to come with reasonable portions of sides. I was shocked at how they served it on an appetizer plate with cornbread and a small side of slaw like it was a half rack of ribs from Applebee’s. Not only was it improperly plated and not respected for its delicacy, the fish was not fresh. It was extremely tough and seemed like it was frozen fish. I couldn’t cut into it with a fork!It was also very bland , like no salt or pepper just some butter and lemon juice, 0/5. The cornbread was immaculate, 5/5 but that should not be considered a side, especially for red snapper. The slaw was very good but served horribly and was small portioned, 4/5. Overall this plate was 2/5, due to the star of the show being horrible and not enough sides. Would recommend they offer fresh food and an additional side if people are paying restaurant prices.

Yelp
Three stars for the stunning ambiance, but the wine and service were mediocre. We visited on a lively Sunday night, with a musician entertaining the crowd, and everyone seemed to be having fun. We ordered a couple of glasses of wine (the sangria and the rosé), neither of which were good. The rosé had an unusually dark pink color and tasted very bitter. The food wasn't bad but failed to impress. Although our server was kind, she left my water glass empty throughout our visit, and it was difficult to get her attention. Even when we got the check, she didn't even notice or say anything about the fact that my wine glass was still completely full. Overall, while the atmosphere was enjoyable, the experience was marred by the disappointing wine and lackluster service.

Yelp
Great winery!! Beautiful setting with indoor and outdoor seating. Amazing views of the winery. Wine selections are great and affordable. Good menu has great options. We ordered the meatballs and they were flavorful and a good portion size. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Beautiful venue for weddings as well!!! This is a sit down and order winery and since they serve food you can't bring your own. There isn't a wine tasting at the bar area but you can order flights from your table. Definitely worth checking out and a spot to stop by if you are on the Hammonton Wine Trail!!

Yelp
What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon! The band was lively, the place was packed, but not overcrowded, the wine was flowing and the food was yummy! Our server Kate was courteous, friendly, and attentive. To start, I enjoyed a glass of sparkling brut which was divine, w/crab salsa and chips Wine tasting: Dry Rose', a full bodied Bordeaux blend (Trio), and Reserve Vignoles, which was a dry to semi sweet progression. Loved all three! Apps and small plates: baked Alaskan sole- one of the specials of the day and it was delish! Margherita pizza- not bad, not my fave. I prefer fresh basil instead of pesto on my marg pizza Lamb chops- temp was well done, so it made them a smidge dry, but the flavor was sooo good I'm not mad they were overcooked Olive, feta, pepper app- soooooooooo good! I'm definitely going to attempt to recreate this at home It was a gloomy, chilly, windy day so we sat on the enclosed patio overlooking the vineyard. I can't wait to return on a sunnier day to enjoy the outdoor area. Overall 9/10

Yelp
It's been my pleasure to start traveling around my area to try out some of the numerous, local, and excellent wineries in the South Jersey area and was excited to try Sharrott with a party of seven to celebrate MDW's birthday. We were seated at a table but asked if two tables could be put together in the back, overlooking the vineyard, but due to a miscommunication two of the hosts carried out another table. When the waitress assigned to the table came over, I was standing in front of the chair that I was going to sit on, and HAPPY NEW YEAR, she abruptly said to me in a very authoritative voice, putting her hand in front of my chest, she said " would you back up and let me do my job"...! This freakin floored me"...I've never had an interaction like that in a restaurant ever before, maybe she was PO'd because she had to work on New Years Day... Rather than my normal review I am going to segue into just a review for the food on a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being the best, especially since I never received my entree, this being questioned at the end of the meal with the reply being " you did not order, I never wrote down the pork belly sliders". So here it is; Wine flights 5 Crab salsa 3 Shrimp salad crostini 5 Winery cheese plate with added cured meat 3 Mac and cheese 4 Hummus plate 5 Guacamole and chips 5 Crab cake 5 Bruschetta flatbread 2 Margarita flatbread 3 Bourbon glazed chicken tacos 2 Lollipop lamb chops 5 Chocolate tart 5 Live music 5 Would I go back, sure, but I'll make sure that the "Black Widow" is not our server...

Yelp
Came here for Mother's Day. Made a reservation 2 weeks ago for brunch but we could only get outside seating which happened to be on a slanting hillside. Interesting watching people trying to sit down and get up. Haha. We were thankful the weather was beautiful. We ordered the cheese plate. For $26 it was pretty mediocre in portion but was good quality. The mimosa flights were very good. My wife and mother in law got the porkroll/egg sandwiches. They were simple rolls with over easy eggs that exploded with yolk all over and cooper cheese that was a sloppy saucy mess. My wife only likes hard fried eggs on her sandwich which is what it said it was. My mother in law had a puddle of yolk and cheese on her plate and was trying to hold her sandwich together. They also got their sandwiches after me and my father in law were almost done. I got the candied pork belly which was good. My father in law got a chorizo/egg skillet. He liked it. The service was as best as could be expected as she was going up and down a hill from the winery. The place is cool and my wife goes with her friend often but it was kind if underwhelming. I want to give 4 stars but this visit was more disappointing because it was Mothers Day and we wanted her to enjoy it more than she did. Nobody's food around us was coming out timely or together. I think they were slightly unprepared to handle the crowd all at once. Ill go back on a regular day and update. As I said. It is a really cool place. Great vibes.

Yelp
Gorgeous winery and lovely service. We did a tasting at the bar. The wine was mostly dry and I liked the rose best. The ambiance and people watching (lots of birthdays, friends, families and date nights) was spectacular. The surrounding vineyards were breathtakingly beautiful as was the airy wooden wine house.

Yelp
The only thing more impressive than this amazing location and facilities was the red wine . I'm very particular of red wine especially from New Jersey, but this is one of very few exceptions. From the Cabernet, Cabernet reserve and the Couer d'Est I was taken aback. A sampling of the chicken tacos, margarita pizza, prosciutto fig blue cheese pizza, tomato soups with grilled cheese and bacon Mac & cheese left us both full and completely satisfied. I'm not a winery person, but I will be returning for more at this Winery!

Yelp
We did the wine tasting and after sat down for food. Service was great; very friendly. Overall, a nice relaxed atmosphere. There was a live artist as well. The food was very tasty and paired well with the wine offerings.

Yelp
This has been one of the best wineries I've been to in a while! The wine, service and food were all amazing! The staff was well knowledgeable of the wines and how they would sit on your palate. I started with the wine tasting just to be sure when I got to the table, I knew what to order. My partner and I settled on the Vangoles which was delightful. It was semi sweet, with a tartness that was subtle. Now on to the BLT that was nothing short of amazing! It's a special so it's not on their everyday menu but with how good it is, it should be. The waiter suggested it and with my love for BLT's I couldn't pass it up. It was sooooo good. The service was amazing and I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
The inside was very spacious and the servers at the wine tasting area were very kind and helpful. Dana was the one pouring our drinks, and Steph was the one giving a nice conversation. The staff were very friendly. The tastings were $13.99 for 6, 1oz glasses of wine, and the flights $14.99 for a flight (3, 2oz glasses). They had a very large selection of wines, ranging from sparkling, dry white, dry red, to sweet. My six were the sparkling cider, piquette Blaufränkish, Brut Rosé, sparkling Brut, Vignoles, Crimson Sky, and Summer Sangría. My mom's six were the Pinot Grigio, Vidal Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Nour, Blaufränkish, and Couer d'Est. I loved their Summer Sangria and Vignoles so much that I got two bottles. My mom got two Pinot Grigios, a Sauvignon Blanc, a Blaufränkish, and a sparkling Brut. We also had their flatbread margherita pizza ($12-$14) and chips with guacamole ($11-13). The flatbread pizza was divine. The cheese had a wonderful pull, the pesto sauce complemented the red sauce and cheese perfectly, and the tomato sauce had a nice acidic bite to it. The chips and guacamole were okay. I'd really recommend going during the fall, spring, or summer before it starts getting too hot. The humidity and heat really get to you, since they keep the garage doors to the outside area open during the summer. Overall: The wine: 8/10 Margherita flatbread pizza: 10/10 Chips & guacamole: 6/10 Service: 10/10 Total: (estimated) $256.88 ~$186.91 for wine bottles, $27.98 for two tastings, $14.99 for one flight, and ~$27 for food

Yelp
My girlfriends and I went to this cute winery in South Jersey. The building was gorgeous. The wine fields were very massive. It was really cool seeing this place. The winery was playing live music when we visited which was really cool. I ended up getting a Truffled Mushroom Pizza. The pizza was really good. The onions were slimy and caramelized. I really like how they had a wine flight of 3 wines for like 15 dollars. The wine tasted superb as well.

Yelp
This is a very lively and laid back winery located about 40 mins outside of Philly. I made reservations online for my cousin and I - one reservation was for a wine tasting and the other was for dining. It was raining on and off the day of our visit and traffic was heavier than anticipated so we missed our wine tasting appointment but we arrived just in time for the dining experience. The service was great, the hostess and waitress were nice and the food was pretty good! What I enjoyed most about this place was the atmosphere and ambiance. I highly recommend this place! Tip: Wine flights can be ordered while dining so it may not be necessary to reserve time for a wine tasting.

Yelp
Sharrott not only has great wines but also the stellar quality of food and unbelievable service the ambiance is beautiful it's like your in another country.

Mike M.

Yelp
Let me begin with some personal history. I spent years working in restaurants and party centers serving groups of up to 300 people. I know the industry and I know how to work a room. I also know when servers and managers are rude and/or inept. On December 8, 2024 I attended an event at Sharrott Winery that was an hours - long Christmas party for wine club members. I sat at a table in the corner of a patio off of the main dining area. Servers were constantly working the room carrying trays of food from table to table serving guests. Almost immediately I was made aware of a problem with the service. Now a waitress has options when there are problems with service in the restaurant. 1) She could smile and serve the patron almost as if it was her job. 2) She could apologize for the servers ignoring a table and fix the problem. 3) She could get angry because a patron took it upon himself to approach her to do her job. 4) She could simply ignore what the patron was saying. The table I sat at was a table for four with two seats taken. The occupants were very friendly but warned me that the servers almost never came to our corner. I observed the flow of the servers and saw that they entered the patio through an entrance about 6 feet away and turned left (directly away from my table) and served guests until their trays were empty. This pattern continued uninterrupted for about 30 minutes until I went to a server and pointed out that our table was being ignored. Her response was "I see napkins on your table so you must have gotten food". I told her that no one had been to our table in over 30 minutes. She just said "okay" and walked away. She chose option #4. For the next 15 minutes the pattern continued where the servers entered, turned away from us and served other tables until their trays were empty. I approached the next server that entered the room as soon as she turned away and asked for food for my table. She looked angry but allowed me to take food for myself and my wife. She chose option #3. About 10 minutes later the server again entered the patio and turned away from my table. Again, I approached her and asked for food. Again, she looked angry and glared at me while I took food. I pointed out that our table was being ignored and that was why I stopped her. She AGAIN chose option #3. The pattern continued and eventually I again approached the server with a full tray. As soon as she saw me, she angrily exclaimed "you have to stop following me, you are making me uncomfortable". I told her I wouldn't if she did her job properly and covered all of the tables. She repeated "you have to stop following me, you are making me uncomfortable". I pointed at her and said "do your job". She exclaimed "stop pointing at me". I continued pointing at her and repeated "do your job". I returned to my table. She AGAIN chose option #3. About 10 minutes later the server AGAIN entered the patio and AGAIN turned away from my table. I was standing near a table and addressed her. She got angry saying "you are making me uncomfortable". I replied, "I don't care", took food and then she said, "I'm calling my manager". I told her that I wished she would call the manager and that "I do not care". She AGAIN chose option #3. A few minutes later the manager (a woman) approached me from the front and a very large man approached me from the rear (intimidation?). Both were polite but told me that a server had complained that I made her uncomfortable. I described all of the times that I had to go get food because my table in the corner had been ignored for over an hour. I told the manager that I had advised the server of the problem, but the problem continued. Both of them just continued saying several times that I cannot make the server uncomfortable. I told the manager that the server is inept and if I made her uncomfortable approaching her in a crowded restaurant to get her to do her job, she has personal problems. I was fascinated by the fact that the manager, who had the same four options that all employees have, selected option #4 and ignored everything I was saying. She simply kept repeating that I cannot make the server uncomfortable. I expected better from Sharrott.

Yelp
My friend and I were in the area and stopped by Sharrott. The building and property was beautiful. They had an enclosed patio section which we really enjoyed sitting in. We tried a few different wines and enjoyed them. Our server was very sweet. The only downfall was the food. I ordered mac and cheese which came out ice cold in the center. I asked for them to remake it, and somehow it came out cold in the center again. I would come back- just not for food.

Yelp
Excellent Service, Food and Ambiance. Look forward to coming back again. Woops- didn't take pictures of our glasses

Yelp
I had the best time there the other night, the wine is so delicious , the service was great

Yelp
Food was delicious, but appetizers and meal came out at the same time except for one dinner. Also ordered a bottle of wine and we were finished with the dinner before it came out.

Yelp
The wine is just mediocre and not worth the price. I do not think they have enough staff to support their business, as the service was very slow.

Valerie W.

Yelp
What a nice way to spend a fall afternoon! It's a lovely place. We sat outside and were greeted quickly by our server. He explained the vineyard and made wine and food suggestions. We ordered our own choice wine fleets and a few delicious dishes to share. Our server checked on us frequently to ensure we were doing well. No pressure and no rush. All in all a great experience.

Yelp
This place is a gem. I'm from virginia and love the wineries in the mountains. This place reminds me of that. Amazing wine and truly amazing food. We come once a month
google avatar

Roxanne O.

Yelp
Wine was pretty okay, I wish they had some more full bodied reds. And that they would state which wines were theirs, versus other vineyards. We ordered a flatbread, the fries and a cheese plate. The cheese plate is way overpriced. Our server was quite friendly. However, our cheese plate came out late, and the told us we only had 30 minutes left to finish and leave, which I thought was super tacky. I know they have a time limit, but this wasn't under our control, but a fault of the establishment.

Kahina L.

Yelp
Best brunch! Food is delicious (I recommend the empanadas, pretzel bites, and chicken & waffles) and the wine will have you turnt. The mimosa flight is the perfect brunch compliment.

Dan L.

Yelp
First time here and really enjoyed the experience. The flights were fantastic and it was great to see the option for a set of curated flights for special/white/red. Our server was amazing (Krissy) and was wonderful! The drinks were very good as well as the food (we had the chicken tacos, Mac and cheese, and dumpling special). It was great they were able to accommodate my child inside and while it was raining! We went to another local winery near us and they apparently dislike children so much you're banished outdoors regardless of the weather. This place was everything I expected from a winery and more! Amazing!

Kyle G.

Yelp
We had an incredible time! Our server Krissy was fantastic. Super attentive. The ambiance inside is very nice, and the food was amazing. Great date night! Highly recommend!

Yelp
I recently came to Sharrott for their trivia night which is every Wednesday at 7pm. First impressions upon entering was that it was spacious inside with plenty of seating. The staff were super friendly and in no time at all, our server was at our table taking our order. We started with a bottle of the Sauvignon Blanc and Crimson Sky (sweet red wine). I'd be lying if I said I was a wine expert so I'll just say that I enjoyed the wines. They were crisp, refreshing and tasty. We also ordered some food to share for the table including the cheese plate, buffalo cauliflower, Bavarian pretzel, margarita flatbread and soppressata flatbread. The cheese plate was my favorite - aged cheddar, gouda, and manchego served with sliced green apples, walnuts and olives. The cauliflower was not as crispy as I like but still tasty and the buffalo drizzled on top certainly made it pop. The pretzel was actually several pretzel sticks served with truffle mustard - really good but a bit overpriced at $10. The flatbread was the most disappointing thing ordered - it was crispy but had a strange aftertaste. A few of us agreed we tasted bleach. If you're looking for a great atmosphere with refreshing wine and tasty appetizers, then Sharrott should be added to your list of wineries to visit!

Yelp
I went here for my birthday celebration. This place is exquisite. Very easy to find. When you walk in to the left you have your wine tasting. To the back they have the restaurant with a gorgeous food. We went on a Sunday so we had their brunch. The chicken and waffle was the best I ever had! Definitely a place to come!!

Yelp
We made reservations to Sharrott's Winery the same day for Sunday afternoon and even on the phone staff was very nice. When we arrived to the vineyard, it took us a few minutes to make it inside because the views were so pretty. Soon as we made it inside, we were seated immediately and experienced such complete and professional treatment from everyone single person at this establishment. It was my best experience at a food business since the pandemic began. My friends and I ordered Margherita Flatbread, Bianca Flatbread, Burrata, and Bavarian Pretzel Bites. The flatbreads were perfectly baked and so delicious. I loved the quality and ingredients of the Burrata. It had tiny pickled peppers that I've never seen before but that and the dressing was delicious! The Pretzel Bites was an actual baked soft pretzel served with some kind of dipping cheese and mustard- so fresh and warm. We each ordered a standard flight of wine for $12.99 (3 tastings). All the wines were really good and the aromas were all interesting. The three of us agreed that the Barrel Reserve Chardonnay was the group favorite, but each of us also had preferences. The person that took care of our orders is Christine and she never once forgot that we were there more did she delay on anything that we asked for. The place was pretty busy but because the staff believe in teamwork, I noticed that other patrons were taken care of. We were allowed to take pictures near the vineyard as long as we didn't go in between them. That was a nice experience and the view is pretty.

Yelp
I went to Sharrott Winery for the first time this past weekend. I was going with a small group of friends and wanted to find a winery that had a set up which allowed for appropriate spacing, etc. I searched online and called around to many. I decided to go to Sharrott because the fire pit areas they offer by reservation ($10 per person) are spaced out pretty well. And, for obvious reasons, having a fire pit in the fall is good. If you sit at their regular lawn tables do not expect to spaced out quite as much. The winery is pretty big - a large indoor tasting/bar area which I believe is closed right now, limited indoor seating, outdoor table seating and the fire pit areas. It gets crowded so definitely make a reservation online ahead of time! The wine and food menu is pretty decent. They offer a good variety of foods including vegetarian-friendly options. I had the fingerling potatoes and hummus platter. Wine by the glass is a little pricy but bottle pricing is very reasonable. The grounds are well cared for and make for a pretty background to drink and relax at on a nice day. The only concern I had during my visit was that when we asked a staff member to shut the fire pit off (it was a warm day so we didn't really need it), another staff member came over, unannounced, and threw water over it without warning us. Smoke and ash went everywhere and he didn't seem to care. And, actually, the fire didn't completely go out the first time; so he came back and did it again....more smoke and ash all over us and no comment from him. Aside from that the visit was great and other staff I encountered were fine! I would go back.

Yelp
Although my favorite tree on the property is gone, they have done a wonderful job expanding the space. As always, the wine is great (I'm more partial to the sweeter selections...especially the Wicked) and the food is awesome! The hash and crab salsa are two of my favs! Definitely worth the stop when I'm the area!

Yelp
Allow me to share my story. I know very little about wine (I think corks might be better than screw off caps). I walked into the winery/restaurant with my wife with the intention of buying 100 bottles of wine. I had a budget of $2,500.00 to purchase holiday gifts for clients of the engineering firm I work at. I was greeted by a blond woman who was very nice (until the end). She offered me an overview of what's available. I told her that I was hoping for a discount as I was buying 100 bottles (8+ cases of wine). She immediately said "just sign up for our wine club, you will get 20% off and three bottles of wine every quarter". What she meant was sign up for our wine club and you will get the discount, but you are obligated to buy 12 bottles of wine per year. I realized my wife was entering her credit card information. I stopped her. I confronted the woman with a more direct tone and simply said --I am buying 8 cases of wine for clients, are you sure you can't offer me any discount? Well the clerk started to show distain for my desire to get my company the best deal possible. I thought I heard a manager tell her we would take 10 percent off, but I have no idea - maybe she makes commission on wine club sales; the message came back to me -- No wine club, no discount. I was disappointed but was certain I could find something within my budget. Well, I drove 2 miles away to the White Horse Winery in Hammonton. I got 100 bottles of red wine (discounted 15%), 100 gift bags, a promise of a detailed description of the wine and 100 brochures advertising the winery. The assistant manager at WH threw in 5 professional wine tastings and 2 wine goblets. Total sale: $2430. All I can say is that in my opinion, the manager at Sharrott really has no idea how much money Sharrott lost today. Our firm will buy WH wine every holiday -- this year 100 bottles, next year 125, etc. How much money was lost today -- a lot.......................a lot. As I walked out of the winery, the blond clerk who was friendly was very snipity. All I can say is, I truly hope you are a commissioned salesperson.

Yelp
Fun time - the wine tasting was fun and the food was good - it was a nice nite out for my wife's birthday

Yelp
I want to start off by saying that we love Jersey winery days and have tried many in the area. I haven't been to Sharrott in a few years because it's a little out of the way for us. We decided to go on a Wednesday for trivia night and again on a Saturday for live music and I have to say Sharrott has easily become one of our favorites. The staff is beyond sweet! I wish I could remember both of our waitresses names but they were both so personable and helped us with suggestions. Trivia was so much fun! And they did a great job with social distancing of tables. As far as food we've gotten the charcuterie plate both times. It is delicious! And although I think $21 is a little high, it's worth it. We also had a margarita flatbread and a shrimp and corn flatbread (daily special)- both good! We tried the Brussels sprouts too but I would skip these, not a ton of flavor. Wine is also really good! We each did a flight (3 for $11) to decide what to order. I'm usually a dry red drinker but my friends like white so we went with the dry rosé which was great!

Yelp
First of impression when you pull up is that you must be in Napa Valley. Beautiful winery for New Jersey. The have a good variety of wines. For $11 you can purchase a wine flight which has three wines of your choice. My favorites are Crimson Sky, Summer Sangria, and Vignoles. They have outdoor seating with a beautiful view of the vineyard. Food and service are decent. Fun place on Wednesday nights for Trivia and Friday/Saturday night they have music. Make sure to call and make a reservation as it books up quick. Looking forward to my next visit.

Yelp
Definitely one of my favorite wineries they have a great selection of wines and if you get a cheese plate it is worth it! The lady helping us was great, she also provided different ways to drink certain ways like for the peach wine they have to put frozen peaches in it or made suggestions on wines which was great when mixed together. She was patient and great company. I'll be looking forward to going in the summer since when I went it was snowing. *Ask for the Winery Passport! It has all the wineries in NJ and each one will give you a stamp when you visit and it's free!

Yelp
What a beautiful place to visit. We had an informative and light hearted wine tasting with Alyssa. We grabbed a bottle and listened to the live music too. We definitely will be back!

Yelp
I come here frequently and it's always a great experience, especially when the weather is warmer and the outside and patio seating can be open! There's plenty of wine to choose from and there's something for everybody! My personal favorites are the Riesling and Peachy Sangria.

Yelp
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! The food is good, and their wine is great! The flights of wine are great especially if you go in a group and can try multiple wine samples at one. The food portions aren't too big but filling enough and plenty of options to choose from. During certain times of the day, during the weekend, they have live entertainment which is always a mood booster. Great environment, we find ourselves always going back especially to purchase their wine bottles to take home.

Yelp
Visited Sharrott Winery for the 1st time. We were there on a Friday evening around 6:30. Since we didn't have reservations, we sat out at the lawn tables. The ambiance was quite nice. Acoustic guitar player on the patio. Appetizers were good. Unfortunately, it all went downhill with the wine. We ordered a bottle of Merlot. It wasn't good at all. When we looked at the bill, $30. a bottle? Hefty mark up for a poor quality wine.

Yelp
For my first experience at a Winery, Sharrott really set the bar high! It is at a great location that has beautiful scenery with many parking spots and an entry way that is so welcoming. With Covid, they have implemented social distancing with separating customers in line by six feet and seating us at a good distance away from one another. Everyone is required to wear a mask until seated. The kind staff were cautious of making sure that everyone was safe and healthy as well as checking to see if all of the customers are satisfied. Once you step out to the outdoor dining area, you' will see a gorgeous view of the vineyard. There are tables with 2-6 chair seating with large umbrellas to block the sun. You're allowed step out to the vineyard to view or take beautiful pictures with your friends and family. The drinks are reasonably priced and delicious! I highly recommend checking out this winery. Looking forward to more visits and trying new flavors!

Yelp
This place is beautiful the wines were delicious a great way to spend a Saturday brunch which came with amazing live music. I had a hummus platter our waitress was sweet and happy to be working there. That makes me like the place even more when you see a staff having a good time at work. It felt like a very warm family environment with great wine ! What more could you ask for ?

Yelp
If you're planning on a Sunday, make reservations. We live just 5 minutes up the road and we are so sad it took us a year to get here. But we're here now and will be regulars. The wine tasting is my favorite part, 6 wines for $12.50. The decor is warm and inviting. It's a fun vibe.

Yelp
Love this winery out of all in the area. Scene: It definitely has a more upscale feel compared to the relaxed White Horse. Clean, spacious, and beautiful to look out the windows. Lovely in the spring and summer when you can sit out on the patio. Wine: I LOVE the crimson. It's so sweet (I usually only drink moscato) and after two glasses I can *feel* it. Food: Exceptional! The flatbreads are so yummy, really just everything hits the spot. Service: Friendly, but not as attentive as I'd like. It does get busy, so I can understand. Definitely recommend for a relaxing afternoon or a get together with the girls!

Yelp
Visited the winery this weekend and had a GREAT time! The wine, food and service were all 5 stars! My mom and I both ordered a 3 pour tasting and we each ordered a gluten free flatbread. The atmosphere was lovely. We were technically seated outside (on the other side of the garage doors) but it was completely enclosed and very toasty from the overhead heaters. We loved everything about our visit! But the cherry on top was our server, Krissy. She was so pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive. Great experience all around!

Yelp
I've been coming here very often. Food and wine are amazing. But owner, unsure of her name, is unprofessional and unapproachable. Came here tonight and she was rude to me and the group I was with, even though she is here seated at a table with her family as a customer, DRINKING with them. Must have felt ballsier tonight. Really upset and disappointed because I will not longer be coming back here because of her.

Yelp
Pro: great wine! Friendly staff. Con: for wine tasting they don't have any seats so you have to stand at the bar the whole time. They also don't have a huge selection for food options. We paid in advance on a credit card for wine tasting, but then when we got there didn't have cash for a tip, and no atm on location. Oops would be nice if there was atm!
