Literally Life Changing on warm weather kinda days! This is our family's favorite snowcone spot, so pictured below is the Mangonada with Chamoy & topped chile powder with dash of gummy bears. The second picture is the Mexican rice pudding, vanilla ice cream in the center, topped with whipped cream & a dash of ground cinnamon! They have a large variety of flavors to select from, so make the trip to Shaved Ice Island! I promise you won't be disappointed.

this is my go to whenever I’m craving a snow cone! my favorite thing about this place is the prices, size & free topping! usually I get strawberry cheesecake with cream but today I discovered some new flavors! They have arroz con Leche, mango lassi, watermelon( literally made from a watermelon) and many more flavors! The staff is great, friendly and quick with the orders. Absolutely love it here 🙌🏼🙌🏼

I have reserved to have a truck at my office every Friday until the end of August. These guys have been amazing to work with. They accommodate all our needs and make the the most stress free experience. The employees are pretty great themselves. And did I forget to mention the pricing. The definitely knock it out of the ball park all the way around :)

I had them do a catering for the company that I work at and if you've ever planned events you know that it can be stressful no matter how big or small! These guys were truly amazing. They showed up a few minutes before to get set up and were just so nice! I'm personally not a huge snow cone person but these snow cones were phenomenal. They had a ton of flavors to choose from and really good toppings (including edible glitter!). They made everything so easy and it was a huge hit with the staff! I would definitely hire them again for any future events.

So so so good. The best snow cones I've ever had. The blue raspberry is perfect & a good blue raspberry syrup is so hard to find. The strawberry fresca is a delicious and I appreciate the worker who recommended to get sweet and condensed milk on the top.

If you live snow cones, you must try this one. I love getting the Coolerest estimates, which is their largest size. My absolute favorite is the Thai iced tea. What a treat! They have dozens of other flavors, and many of them I've tried and hadn't gone wrong yet. Need a treat or want to beat the heat? You've got to indulge yourself on one of these.

Best snow cones in the area. Staff is always quick and friendly. Happy to come here with my daughter and take friends from out of town every chance we get. It's her favorite treat. May have to book them for a birthday party at some point!

Amazing syrups that taste homemade. They may be. Every one is so kind and has great customer service. The flavors are gourmet and so craveable!

Easy to locate in the Westgate Lanes parking lot. Ample seating (with shade). *It would be phenomenal if they had misting fans too! Staff are hard working, nice, and even though there were 8 people in front of me, I probably waiting 7-10 min in line and less than 5 for my order. I let my toddler daughter select our flavor so we got plain strawberry to share (I added a scoop of Blue Bell vanilla). Next time, I'm coming for the Mangonada. I love tajin and tamarind so I'm looking forward to it! What really stood out was the thought they put into the customer experience! The various photo op spots, chalkboard wall, and most of all...the sign emphasizing they want to make each order perfect and happy to do whatever's needed to make it happen. We'll be back! TIP: visit their website and if you sign up for texts, you get a free small shaved ice!

This is the best snow cone I've had and I look forward to getting one each time I bowl at Westgate Lanes. Service is great, friendly and quick. They have so many topping and flavor combinations. I opted for lime with nerds and chamoy this round. It was a banger!

Cute shaved ice food truck in Westgate Lanes' parking lot with plenty of outdoor seating. Their custom shaved ice creations have creative names and great flavor. The notorious POG with cream and Gummi bears is the best!

Perfect way to cool off!! The horchata, tiger blood and purple magic icees were my fav. I love that they offer sugar free options too! Super cute photo opps too!

Mangonada was spot on! Best place for a raspa in South Austin. Friendly staff and plenty of spots to sit down.

The area is super cute for pictures, the staff is all very friendly. They have so many flavors to choose from! Also the sitting area is clean & a great shaded area to hang out. This is the Picadilly, it's great if you love pickles! Will be back tomorrow

I would leave a 5 star review for the snow cone but for the customer service which is a HUGE part of a business, they get a 1 star. The checkout girl was sweet and answered questions. This review is mainly for the woman who yelled at us to move our vehicle instead of asking. To the woman who answered "the kids cup" when I asked her which kind of snow cone it was that I was handed first. I own a business myself and would never make someone feel stupid for asking something. I did not appreciate the attitude. She didn't create a fun or welcoming environment. That's what a business should have first hand.

After trying and failing at another shaved ice place, we went to Shaved Ice Island because of the Yelp reviews. Busy but the staff was very friendly and service was fast. Lots of flavors and combos to try. Make this a stop when you're in the area!

Shaved Ice Island is incredible! I didn't know it existed, and was just looking for a normal shaved ice and they have SO many options, including fruit juices and mango lassi, and toppings like tahin and lime. Absolute life saver in the summer. I got the pineapple fresca but I want to try the Thai iced tea and the mangonada. It's in the parking lot of Westgate Lanes.

I was super sad when Austin Sno closed down because they were my GO TO snow cone place. I eventually stumbled upon Shaved ice island and it is now my new go to!!! The staff is extremely nice every single we go and they make sure the snow cones are done perfectly. Perfect place to stop for a sweet snack. They are now open for the spring!!

Waited in the heat to spend money on a cup of unflavored ice....ice was "shaved" to a consistency that pretty much presented as chunks. Very disappointed

Not your average shaved ice establishment! We made our guys road trip to Austin and made this pit stop just to try the Mango Lassi shaved ice. The sizes were generous and mixed with mango puree and a pleasant helping of vanilla ice cream at the bottom. Best part, when it all melts in the Texas heat, you get a refreshing mango lassi drink that'll still keep you cool!

I had an urge for Hawaiian shave ice on a hot spring day and found Shaved Ice Island on yelp. They are located in the parking lot of Westgate bowling. They are dog friendly and gave our puppies two free bowls of shaved ice with whipped cream! I was very impressed walking up Memorial Day weekend as they had organized a free scavenger hunt for children, a bouncy house, free face painting, and a free reggae band playing! The owner's name is Rahul, which I mistakenly thought was a variant of Raoul. You'll notice they serve mango lassi and chai tea shave ice! I ordered the Notorious P.O.G., which tasted like Hawaiian Sun juice, topped with sour gummy worms. Portions were large and cheap for a small at only $3 plus toppings. They even had people from the Austin Film Society taking videos of my puppy and customers. The owner, Rahul, walked up to us and asked us to participate in a snowball fight! The owner looked like an Indian surfer dude from Hawaii and he is killing it! The ice flakes weren't soft enough to yield easily to a spoon. To make it more Hawaiian, Taiwanese or Filipino, I would suggest they offer mochi balls, boba, and halo halo as well. I hope he opens a brick and mortar as the business grows!

My family heads over to get shaved ice weekly, usually Mangonada or Mexican Rice Pudding. We love their gourmet flavors! The staff are also as super cool as their snow cones. Tonight we tried June's flavors of the month and they didn't disappoint. Rainbow Pride and Peach Tea. Tasty!

Employees wore masks. It was ready really fast even with a big crowd. Very friendly service :) they also add the right amount of syrup so good ice to syrup ratio! Sad they're closed for the winter :(

I tried the blue coconut with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and was impressed because the syrup wasnt over sweet and the ice cream was perfect. Great place would come back again.

Absolutely insane how great this place is! Not always into snow cones because it really isn't my thing but man, this place deserves an award! Haven't had a great snow cone like these in a very, very long time! If you're craving a snow cone or just trying to kill off this summer heat with some cool treats, stop by shaved ice island for your satisfaction. It defiantly hit the spot after our 3 mile noon time run! Great way to cool down with these gourmet snow cones! The service was extremely quick so during these hard COVID times they made the new process very smooth. The mangonada was great, maybe just a tad bit more chamoy would've been great but otherwise it was amazing. The mango lassi was so creamy and tasty! Two great choices! I'll def be back for that Mexican rice pudding flavor!

What a wonderful night for a delicious treat. We absolutely love this place and we tell everyone that it is not to be missed. But we have a new addition to the family and today was his 1st time. Can you tell from the picture that he is in puppy heaven? We love you guys!!!

I can't believe I've lived by this place for years and never came! Shaved ice isn't really my thing. But a friend suggested it while we were walking my dog a few weeks ago and now I'm a regular! My dog loves it so much that when I take her on walks, she leads me here. These are really reasonably priced (the small is $3 and so big it often lasts me 2 days), refreshing, and delicious. And of course my dog LOVES the doggy shaved ice with whipped cream and a milk bone on top. I love the fresher gourmet flavors with added fruit - pineapple fresca and mint lemonade are amazing. I put whatever is left in the fridge and have. Yummy juice to drink the next day! As the weather gets warmer, I'm so glad to have this place to grab a refreshing treat!

This place was a great find on a hot afternoon in Austin. Get a medium at least so you can get a free topping. My nieces got sour patch kids on their snow cones. They had a variety of flavors and good service.

Got a Mint lemonade with watermelon Fresca mixed and I'm in love. Classic flavors like tigers blood and bubble gum are great from here but their gourmet flavors are amazing. A great place to stop for a refreshing treat.

Best snow cones in the world that I have ever had! I recommend going with one of the gourmet options, they're worth it (and the smalls are plenty big enough). Every time we go, the customer service is stellar. Employees are very polite and have positive attitudes. Also they are consistent as far as quality and wait times are concerned, no matter how busy. The chalk board and cornhole game are some pretty awesome bonuses too. This place is special. Just be careful pulling in because the parking lot can be a bit busy and sometimes people drive fast coming down that hill on westgate.

I ordered a cotton candy flavor. It didn't taste nothing like cotton candy... I was a little sad about it. The cup it's self seemed fragile and my hand getting cold fast. I just wasn't impressed. It's not the people working there that's bad but company or person who owns it.... Sucks....I'm sorry

PSA: best shaved ice ever. Had a strawberry Fresca (fresh strawberry juice, not syrup), with vanilla ice cream in the bottom and topped with a little condensed milk and coconut flakes. It's better than I can ever describe. Love this place

Friendly, fun and funky! I love the specialty combos. Purple Magic and Creamy Cold Brew are my absolute favorites that I crave regularly. The ice is actual shaved ice, which is harder to find in town that you'd think. Amazing selection of adds on and flavors - the whipped cream is SO GOOD! We've been many times and the employees are always kind and efficient. Love having Shaved Ice Island in the neighborhood!

This place is the bomb-dot-com! I love their variety, their fun signs and tropical vibe, and the friendly staff. The snow cones are like a vacation in your mouth! They have so many interesting flavors--I prefer the selections made with natural ingredients like the Moscow Mule, POG, and mint lemonade. They have a huge selection of toppings including fresh fruit! Be warned that they are highly addictive--nothing quite beats the refreshment of a tasty snow cone in the middle of a sweltering Texas summer!

Came by to treat my cousin on his special day....walking the stage and receiving his diploma #2020grad. They have tons of varieties and even gourmet options! I ordered the arroz con leche (rice milk) and it came with a scoop of ice cream on the bottom. It was freaking amazing. Hands down the best snow cone I've ever had! Prices were extremely reasonable! This was definitely a nice cool treat after spending a few hours in the hot Texas heat! Make sure to TREAT YO SELF with a snow cone!

I'll be damned if, amidst searing 104 degree heat, I didn't experience another dimension of joy and delight going here and getting a "Large Banana with Some Gumny Bear Toppings" yesterday!!!

The best shaved iced I've ever had. I had the mangonada and it was amazing. If you're looking for a place to get a frozen treat you should definitely stop here.

By far the best shaved ice place I've ever enjoyed. Not only is the product delicious, but the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. One thing I'd give the staff extra stars for if I could is the way they treated a large group of boisterous, but friendly teens in front of me. There were a few "nice white ladies" in line who felt like they should be allowed to skip ahead of the teens, who were all young people of color. When the women tried to cut around with their privilege, the staff firmly, but professionally, spoke up and said they would finish waiting on the teens first. The women got all huffy and complained saying, "but there are so many of them and only three of us!" (as if that's supposed to matter). The staff was unfazed. Good on them!

The people who run this are so nice, and I hate to leave a bad review, but I want to help someone keep their money. The snow cones here were horrible. I had better snow cones from my childhood Snoopy snow cone maker. It's obvious they water down all their syrups to save money for themselves. My tigers blood and wedding cake snow cone hardly had any flavor. I threw 80% of it away after trying my hardest to enjoy it. There are far more superior snow cone joints in Austin, and I'm afraid this one ranks nowhere near them. Update response to the delusional owner of this crappy place- shouldn't bash someone just because they see the sheer lack of talent in your business. There are others you haven't paid off who share my same opinion! Get more than just 40 reviews of "good" experiences and maybe you'd have the credence to be at the level where you think you are.

We reserved the Shave Ice Island truck for two different events within a few days of each other. We had a headcount of around 250 people between both of the days. Everyone was happy and it was nice to be able to enjoy the shaved ice and socialize outdoors (it was a hot day!) Rahul, the owner, followed all requests. He and his co-worker were kind and worked hard to serve all of our team members. It's apparent that Rahul enjoys what he does. I highly recommend Shaved Ice Island and their truck for corporate events.

Stopped by here for a cool treat on a hot Austin day in this new Corona-world, and let me tell you, it is like a mini-island vacation here! The kids and i walked up to the trailer and they had fantastic Hawaiian music playing and the boys started dancing with their face masks on. Cutest thing ever! This place has all of the traditional shaved ice flavors, but also offers some creative and funky flavor combos and toppings as well. They also have options for getting ice cream and condensed milk on your shaved ice just like in Hawaii! The employees were all wearing masks and gloves so we felt very safe, and they have picnic tables in the shade if you feel like hanging out and enjoying the island-vibe just a little bit longer. So glad we stopped by here and discovered this shaved ice shop. Our family will be making this a regular destination as the summer heats up and we wanna cool down!

This shaved ice truck was at a fall festival we attended. We got our children mango and rainbow shaved ice. I tried the mango and it was so good I went back to get my own! The mango was not regular sugar syrup, it was thick puréed mango. The rainbow shaved ice was also great! Highly recommend this shaved ice truck. We'll be back to try other flavors soon!
