The food here is exceptional! We ordered their house fries, falafel and hummus. Everything was so good. You can feel the love in their recipes. Even the sauces were delicious. Definitely and must try.

I’m extremely picky when it comes to food, and this place completely won me over. I came here with my guy at Legacy Hall and ordered what is probably the most unhinged shawarma order imaginable: just wood fired chicken and french fries in a wrap. No sauce. No vegetables. NO pickles. Nothing extra. Yes, I know. I’m aware. Please don’t call the shawarma police. Most places give me weird looks or make me feel like I’m being difficult. These guys did the opposite. They didn’t hesitate. They didn’t judge. They were genuinely kind about it, which honestly already put them in the elite category. And somehow, even with my painfully plain order, this was hands down the best shawarma wrap I’ve ever had. The wood fired chicken was insanely good, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with care. I’ve had shawarma in a lot of places, and nothing I’ve tried in Texas comes close. What really made the experience stand out was the staff. There were two guys working when we were there, and they were welcoming, patient, and happy to talk about how the meat is prepared and cooked. You can actually watch them make your food right in front of you, which I love. No disappearing into a back kitchen. No mystery. Just good food being made properly. On my way out, I stopped and told them this was the best shawarma I’ve had in Texas, and I meant it. As someone who usually feels awkward ordering food, it was genuinely refreshing to not feel judged for once. I’m not from anywhere near Plano, but this place is absolutely worth the drive. Yes, even for my very plain chicken and fries in a wrap order. I’ll be back.

To be honest I’ve tried a lot of shawarma places around Dallas but this one was the only one that had actual good shawarma everything was fresh the sauce and the fries were good not to mention the beef in the beef shawarma was seasoned nicely so if you go to legacy food hall you might wanna choice shawarma bar first

This place deserves way more LOVE. I am blown away by the flavor and authenticity of this restaurant. I ordered the shawarma stack (100% recommend) that came with fries loaded up with beef, lamb, chicken, feta, tons of sauce and sides of pickles, olives, tomatoes and onions. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We visited Shawarma Bar at Legacy Hall after spotting this Mediterranean restaurant and decided to give it a try. We ordered the falafel wraps, hoping for a flavorful experience. Unfortunately, they fell short of our expectations. The wraps were average overall, and I’d rate them a 6 out of 10. The main issue was the spice level — it was far too spicy, and they didn’t ask how we preferred it. My wife couldn’t eat hers because of how overwhelming the heat was. It would be much better if they offered the sauce on the side or at least asked customers about their preferred spice level before serving. This small adjustment would make a big difference for a wider range of diners.

Legacy Hall is an experience all on its own. It has 3 to 4 levels with tons of eatery options from sushi to barbecue! Me and a couple of girlfriends were there for a 90s throwback event. We wanted to grab something to eat and Mediterranean sounded good. The servers at Shawarma Bar were extremely pleasant and made sure you knew what each item was before adding it to your plate. I got the lamb and chicken combo bowl . The flavors were nice without being overpowering. My only complaint was that by the time we sat at our table, my meal was already cold. No fault of the restaurant. Worth checking out.

Wow! We were delighted with the delicious food. We had the lamb and steak bowl and the falafels — so good! Their baklava was also really tasty. The service was outstanding; Roberto and Juan gave us great recommendations and took such good care of us. We’ll definitely be back!
