Where to Eat and Drink on Rainey Street in Austin

"Find oh-so-flavorful halal food from this location of the Mediterranean food truck at the downtown food truck court. Try the beef and lamb gyro bowl, a falafel pita, or chicken shawarma salad — those proteins, plus steak shawarma, can be swapped to make any bowl, pita, or salad. It’s a fast casual-style spot, although it is not a chain — fully family owned. Takeout orders can be placed online or in person." - Erin Russell

Excellent food, super fast service. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate and it was ready in less than 5 minutes. Gerneous portions, crispy vegetables and well seasoned chicken served with a smile. Highly recommended. Halal food. There's ample seating next to the food truck and the place has a great vibe.

Definitely the best falafel I have ever had. Was cooked amazing. Light but still really crunchy. Salad was very small for $11, but everything tasted excellent.

I tried this spot at Sueños festival and let me just say I was very impressed and blown away of how delicious the food is. I'm literally obsessed now! The white sauce & hot chili sauce is definitely a must!!! Everything taste so fresh... I'm also not a big fan of falafel but when I tried this one I instantly became a fan. I just know I want some more of this goodness!!!! Can't wait to try again! Keep up with this amazing food!

Ordered via GrubHub half hour before and was informed that the food was ready. Went to pick it up and was told that they did not receive any order so had to wait to be done. Food was okay, falafel was uncooked inside and with only one scoop of rice😑

Shawarma wrap and fries were enough to share. It was a bit over white girl spicy. Perfect street food.
