الإنجليزية: I went with my relatives to a restaurant located inside Walmart. We ordered chicken shawarma with falafel, garlic sauce, and tahini. The shawarma was good and acceptable in taste, but the falafel was a bit hard and I didn’t feel the original falafel flavor as it should be.”

First time coming here! Twas a spontaneous idea to come by since it was in the Walmart! When we looked up on the review, they got good ratings and we wanted to try something small so we ordered one item with vegetarian option and it was very delicious! 😋 Wish we had a regular size! 😅 we had a good time so we will be back again! Cheers 🥂

First time trying and The food tasted old and dry, my Husband and kids didn’t like it either. the place was dirty, service was ok. We managed to fill up on fries since the food was disappointing. Not a good experience.

I am willing to try this again after being here when I am around the area. I ordered the bowl with fries and chicken, and it was a lot of fries for me. Service is good, but they did not provide the side sauces, but I suppose it was maybe a misunderstanding. Soda water to syrup ratio tasted watered down with the diet Coke from the soda machine, but it was drinkable. One employee was considerate and asked if the food was good. The sauce tastes great! The environment is awesome, and the cashier was wearing an appropriate hair net, gloves, and apron!

This establishment is conveniently located inside Walmart. We had the falafel wraps (one with fries and one without fries). The wrap without the fries was a little salty for my tastebuds while the the one with the fries was not as salty. The wrap was thin but did not fall apart easily. I really enjoyed my meal and will come back to try out other items on the menu. The Baklava bites were the size of a quarter, so be aware of that before you order it.

I've passed this place so many times coming to shop in Walmart and didn't know what to expect because I didn't know what Shawarma was but my car was getting fixed so I decided to stop by and have lunch! The very nice gentleman working behind the counter took the time to describe the menu and let me try a taste of the sauce before I ordered and WOW! The food was so "light" and tasty and FRESH! I definitely will be back to try something else and you should too! Your taste buds will thank you! Kudos to this place here! 💯🙌🏼😇

I've had my eye on this location for a while as it was being built, and it was definitely worth the wait! I met the owners and most of the staff on their soft opening day, everyone was extremely friendly and happy to answer my questions. The food was amazing! Sharing with my coworkers, we ordered a chicken shawarma combo, a fries bowl with chicken and some extra fries to pass around. The chicken was flavorful and the fries were some of the best fries I've had in a while. But the garlic sauce was my absolute favorite! An extra side of that sauce is prefect for dipping fries, or if you want to add a little extra fresh garlic flavor to any of the menu items. We also got a chance to try some falafel. While I was dreading the usual dryness I've experienced from some other Mediterranean restaurants, I was pleasantly surprised to find this falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside with a nice fluffy inside. The sauce included was a perfect touch! For dessert we decided to try one of the baklava boxes they had available (we couldn't resist!). The cashew and pistachio varieties were quite addicting! With the impressive packaging, I may purchase these in the future as gifts for friends and family. Overall, everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. I would pick this over fast food any day!

Google
This is an awesome halal food restaurant located inside Walmart. We really liked the food and environment. We ordered beef wrap, tandoori chicken wrap, tex mex wrap and fries out of which I liked the tex-mex wrap most and the fries were just amazing! The bread of the wrap is thin and crunchy which makes it special. I do recommend this place for a quick bite!

Yelp
Came here after buying some groceries because it had a good smell. It looks like a fast food, Mediterranean place, which is not a bad thing. I ordered the beef Shawarma with the spicy sauce. It came with a lot of oil which I had to wipe off with a napkin. Other than that, the beef was not bad, but it was not anything to rave about. The wrap it came in was a little odd, because it resembled more of a tortilla, than what should actually be used for a Shawarma which was a negative. Prices are average, and they have multiple sizes for the wraps. I would say that this is a place to stop by if you are hungry and are in an absolute rush to get something. If you have time, I would look elsewhere.

Yelp
It's so hard to find real shawarma. I've been to so many restaurants that claim to have shawarma and give you grilled chicken with a few spices. This place is the real deal. It's inside a Walmart but that makes sense because of the heavy foot traffic here. The service is fantastic - I even got a free sample of their shawarma while I waited because I mentioned having a hard time finding shawarma and it was not only good it was authentic. I even heard someone say "that was the best cheeseburger I've ever had!" - so they must have good cheeseburgers ... I'll have to try it and report back to you all,my fellow yelpians.

Yelp
We got the Over Rice Chicken Shawarma platter with a drink and Spinach Pastry. None of it tasted very good and we actually threw most of it out. The shawarma did taste somewhat like shawarma but was way too salty and just not very good. The rice was ok. The hummus was bland with little flavor, the salad was mushy and bland. We expected the spinach pastry to be spanakopita; it was not phyllo dough and the spinach was overwhelming and not good. We used DoorDash so can't comment on the service.

Yelp
Cashier is friendly and I assume very new. Didn't understand Our order and forgot a drink. She forgot several things from others orders. The soft drinks have no carbonation. The soda machine has no ice. The hummus bowl has a good amount of hummus but limited oil to make it more palatable. The beef is VERY dry and looks like it has been on the spit for a week. The chewy factor confirms. The space was clean.

Yelp
Not sure what all the bad reviews are about.. I was greeted quickly and the menu was fully explained to me. I'd never had shawarma before, so I appreciated the detailed explanation! I ordered one of the specials, a beef shawarma wrap combo. It included 2 sides, lentil soup & sauce. The fries were REALLY good! Almost a batter dipped type & perfectly seasoned. The shawarma is similar to Gyros meat, but better. It's nicely wrapped and pressed. The lentil soup is tasty with a slight chicken essence. My food was brought out hot & ready to eat. They serve Community coffee iced coffees & Iced tea (my fave!). The ambiance is typical of a WalMart eatery, but it was very clean & neat inside. Give it a try!

Yelp
I got the date cookie and shawarma fries. I keep wanting to like this place, but the food seems to fall short. The date cookie was really bad. Kind of tasted stale. The fries were good, but the garlic sauce I had on it was very overpowering.

Yelp
While in Texas I decided to try this quick bite Shawarma Press. Located inside of Walmart. I noticed they had wraps instead of the usual burgers & decided to give it a try. Boy am I glad I did. Pricing is reasonable, and the burst of favor had a spicy kick to it. With a delicate toast to the wrap made it lightly crisp. Delicious! I recommend this eatery!

Yelp
I had the tandoori chicken press today. First time I've eaten here. I really liked the flavors. My food was fresh, tasty, arrived quickly. The staff is great, friendly, the establishment clean and well managed. I'll be back!

Yelp
Was not a fan of the Beef Shawarma Salad. The beef was very tough and very salty. While it was a very hearty portion size it was very difficult to chew. Had to take several breaks to get through the meal. I will give it another shot as it is a new place. Hopefully better results.

Yelp
First time trying Shawarma Press here in Georgetown. Sabi was awesome! He recommended the chicken wrap and a beef bowl. I personally prefer fries (bowl) but there are other options as well! Super fresh and delicious 10/10 coming back!

Yelp
Long have I waited for a shawarma place to open up anywhere near Georgetown and Round Rock. Even though the place was located inside the Walmart in Georgetown,by God, I was gonna give it one good try at least. You just never know. Unfortunately I walked into a place that is basically the Taco Bell of the mediterranean food industry. The owners couldn't have tried any less to decorate the inside of this dingy, institutional looking place! The staff seemed nervous and unsure of themselves, and seemed to fumble around a bit, wondering how to handle this new customer in front of them. I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap, a cup of lentil soup, seasoned fries and a strawberry lemonade drink. The chicken shawarma was tiny, and didn't resemble anything close to the shawarma I normally enjoy in other places that call themselves mediterranean. The flavor was off putting. Where was the rice? Where was the garlic sauce? Where's the freshness? The cup of lentil soup resembled more like split pea soup which is not at allThe way it is supposed to be. The strawberry lemonade tasted closer to cool aid than anything with real strawberries or real lemonade in it. The seasoned fries were pretty good. At least that was something. I do not recommend this place if you are really looking for good shawarma. You will be Infuriatingly disappointed! Another corporate franchise for mediterranean food that completely misses the mark, again. I am starting to notice a pattern here. Visit this soon-to- be- out -of -business location if you need some good seasoned fries. I don't know what is so difficult. Mediterranean food is by nature fresh and tasteful. Why don't the corporations seem to understand this? They are trying to turn mediterranean food into McDonald's . This is never going to work.

Yelp
Was excited to finally try this as I had seen it numerous times (it's located right inside Walmart). I ordered the large beef shwarma wrap with a side of fries. Large was stated to be 11" and technically it was because it was wrapped in a large tortilla, but had no filling for an inch and a half on either end. I know it said wrap but seriously, a tortilla at a Mediterranean restaurant. The beef and lamb mixture tasted muddy. I think it was use of mutton vs lamb and mutton has a much stronger flavor. No lettuce or tzatziki which typically would be included. Fries were 2.99 and ok, give them a 3.5, but hardly any. Super disappointing and I ended up throwing 3-4 of it away. $13.00 and change which seems high for basically a fast food lunch.

Yelp
My wife and I just moved to the area and when we saw this place while in Walmart we were skeptical but excited. My wife is Turkish so anywhere we go we try to find decent Mediterranean food. We had previously tried a Greek place in the area (we won't say the name) and we're extremely disappointed. Anyways, we don't understand how this place has low stars because it was delicious. It is a quick shawarma but everything taste fresh. The tzatziki was phenomenal and my wife loved the beef/lamb. They also have these pastries the baklava that my wife tried. The woman there was so kind and heated a couple pieces up for my wife since we bought a box. My wife got excited when she saw they were made in Turkey and she thought they were great. Everyone that works there has been respectful and kind. We have gone twice now and look forward to it on our next outing.

Yelp
Love their food especially the quesadillas! Quick service and fresh food. Miss living in Round Rock, they were a regular stop.

Yelp
First time ordering and the food nor the customer service did not disapoint. I ordered the rice bowl highly recommend! Julia took my order and she was so patient with me great customer service given.

Jadyn F.

Yelp
best shawarma i've ever had chicken shawarma and the tendori were so good, the service was great and the worker was super chill, place is banging more people should come, 11/10 in my book

Yelp
ts was so peak it had my toes curling the freaky way 100000/10 would definitely recommend

Yelp
This shawarma wrap was tasty very convenient to shop Around Walmart and enjoy a healthier option for a quick bite! I will try the beef shawarma next time with some lentil soup. Great place very clean and organize I will recommended

Yelp
We've been here twice and have consistently gotten hot, freshly made food. The fries have a spicy seasoning salt, and are always crisp. We've tried the tandoori and Tex mex - both are spicy and flavorful although the tandoori wrap is not for the faint of heart hehe. The strawberry lemonade isn't that great, but the food is delicious!

Yelp
My husband and I had lunch here. It was awful. The meat was dry, and horribly overcooked. The menu said there was cucumber in the wrap. Well, technically I guess there was, but in pickle form. And the so-called garlic sauce was just mayonnaise. I asked for my money back and got it. Never again.

Yelp
Sooooo good I'll definitely be back!!!! The chicken rap with seasoned fries was so good I couldn't believe it!!!
google avatar

Donna W.

Yelp
Ordered through Uber Eats and this is hands down the worst Mediterranean food I've ever had. The hummus stated like actual dirt, the pita was cold and stale, the chicken was grizzly and cold. I could only force myself to eat a few bites before I threw it all away. What a huge waste of money

Yelp
I've been waiting for this place to open BUT Don't be one of the first for lunch! They served the dry crusty chicken edges and none of the soft swarma meat in the wrap . Very disappointed. On the up side, the garlic flavor was nice. Some of the other wraps we saw as we finished looked like the meat improved as they got past the edge meat. I may try again...but not at 12 o'clock

Cameron F.

Yelp
Natalie I think she did a phenomenal job with meal and great service.I think the time pace of bringing out the meal to me was absolutely perfect,so for all of that I am well appreciated and that's why I love coming here Cameron Franke

Unnas K.

Yelp
I seriously don't understand the one star ratings. We came here for wraps and they were delicious. I thought it was sketchy being inside a walmart, but honestly the woman at the register was very patient and friendly. The food came out quickly and we were able to enjoy our meal inside. I wish i could give bonus points for having high chairs and serving halal food.

Yelp
Fantastic fries! The chicken wrap was sooo good! Will definitely be back again! Staff was very friendly. Excited to have something new in the Walmart.

Susan S.

Yelp
Do not waste your money. The food was served Luke warm, the soda was flat and the flavors were strange. Mediterranean food is usually bright and fresh and this tasted like dull fast food.

N C.

Yelp
The Chicken Shawarma Wrap I got looked like something from Taco Bell. The pita wrap was a tortilla. I don't even know what to else to say. This isn't mediterranean food.

Corina K.

Yelp
This was the most disgusting Mediterranean food I have ever eaten. The chicken tasted like it needed to be thrown away two days ago. The Mediterranean salad looked like it had been made a week ago and had no flavor. The taste it left in my mouth tasted like bile.

Ricky N.

Yelp
don't let the fact that it's located inside the Walmart or empty in appearance fool you, the food is amazing. I went with my fiancé and got the "authentic beef wrap" and she got the tandoori wrap meal that came with some great falafel bites. The kind man that took our order even informed us about the food process since it was our first experience with shawarma and he was really passionate, warm, and kind. give it a try If you're looking for shawarma.
