When I tell you guys the famous crispy tik tok shawarma was incredible I’m not exaggerating, it was so juicy and full of flavor my cousins and I were blown away. We ordered to go and on top of that the owner was so generous and welcoming, it was a great atmosphere. The restaurant was so spacious and clean and the baklava was HUGE and honestly the best I’ve had, it had hints of cinnamon, and honey and it was soft and crunchy at the same time it was the perfect balance of textures. I had knefah as well and it was not too sweet and they added the perfect amount of syrup which was amazing and it was warm and perfect dessert right after our meal. The garlic fries and the chicken shawarma plate was also fresh and the chicken was seasoned to perfection. It’s halal and they are also Palestinian owned so I would definitely go and support this amazing restaurant. The customers service and food quality was perfect, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I would rate a 10/5 if I could.

This shawarma had me questioning any other shawarma I’ve ever had in my life. It had me questioning my life choices and I am completely obsessed. I tried the chicken shawarma combo as well as the lamb and beef combo. I also had the Greek fries and it was out of this world. This is going to be a place I will come to as a regular and I completely recommend to ANYBODY. Number one, customer service and hospitality is a 10/10. The owner was super kind and generous. The shawarma was incredibly juicy, smoky and spiced to perfection. Each bite got better and better, I was truly in a flow state. The garlic sauce was heavenly. I honestly wasn’t expecting it to be this good walking into the shop and immediately the workers there were a vibe and so nice to talk to. The were so welcoming and it felt so heartwarming. I immediately felt like this was going to be a place I’d come often. So if you’re reading this review I highly recommend you guys go. You’ll be a customer for life. :)

I saw this viral crispy shawerma online and was looking for it everywhere in Seattle and finally found it! I had to come in and try it and it did not disappoint! wow it was absolutely amazing, the flavor, the crisp, and the overall taste is just yum! As a middle eastern shawerma lover, I approve!😋 The restaurant is so cozy too, I will differently be coming back!! shoutout to the friendly workers!

This is not shawarma at all. I honestly don’t understand why the place is called “Shawarma Shack.” From the food alone, you can clearly see that they don’t serve real shawarma—just plain grilled chicken, and it wasn’t good. The place itself is unpleasant, with a bad smell, and it doesn’t even feel like a proper restaurant. I’ve seen food trucks that are much cleaner than this. On top of that, the prices are very high for nothing, literally nothing. They served me a burnt sandwich and called this a crispy tiktok shawarma!!! I do not recommend this place at all. As for the kunafa they claim is “fresh" it definitely wasn’t. It tasted like it had been frozen and possibly reheated in a microwave. @owner Your response is dishonest. You already contacted me privately asking me to remove my review, which shows you’re aware of the issues at your restaurant. Even fast-food chains like McDonald’s provide better service than what I experienced at your place. Based on your dishonest response, I have added more photos. I was considerate enough not to share them earlier to avoid causing further harm to your reputation, but your reply left me no choice. You may want to visit a McDonald’s to understand what proper cleaning looks like. The condition of your establishment speaks for itself. Do not contact me privately again. Have the courage to publicly explain the lack of cleanliness throughout your restaurant. I have reported the message you sent on Instagram asking me to remove my review in exchange for a free meal. Good luck, and keep the free meal for yourself — you’ll need it more.

Shawarma Shack, is great, the food service was fast. The Menu selections available were different and everything was very reasonably priced. Yahya, was pleasant to deal with and he took great care while I was there. The food qulity and taste was supurb, 10/10. Overall with Great service and absolute Fire food. It was a unique and tasty experience.

The hype is real! The sweet pomegranate sauce on the crispy chicken shawarma coupled with the garlic sauce is incredible. Must try! Would be an 11/10 with a kick of spice Quick and great service. Can’t wait to come back and try other items!

The service was great and the food was exactly what I was craving. Didn’t disappoint and I will definitely be coming back. They also have really good Baklava.

We got the chicken Sharma combo and lamb and beef plate, along with falafels. The falafels were one of the best falafels I’ve ever had, super fresh and crispy, and I could eat an entire bucket of them. The other things we ordered were also very good I’m not sure if it was dinner rush or not but they were super unorganized and didn’t have a great system in place for pushing out food. Customers who ordered later with similar orders were getting their orders first. The guy working was going up to people and asking what their order was (which was tough as well since you didn’t get a receipt unless you asked for one). I found the vibe of the place quite funny as well, it was in between a no frills shawarma place and a sit down restaurant and the vases on the table serve no purpose but to block the view of the people you are eating with. Hopefully they improve from last night because I’m excited to come back and get more falafels

Food: AMAZING!!! My husband and I got the Crispy Shawarma combo and upgraded to Greek Fries! It was literally the most delicious thing I have had in a while. Service: We showed up right at the start of dinner rush and had about a 10-15 minute wait (which isn't bad at all since they make the food fresh to order) for 2 combos and our dessert. Another 15 people showed up after us and they also got their food in a timely manner. Ambiance: Literally such a chill vibe, you walk in and take your order first, you'll grab your drink, pick a table, and one of the workers will walk your food to you. It's a nice and open floor plan and you can see everyone working and cooking the food. Definitely will be something I crave all the time, and I would eat at this place everyday if I could.

Food was ready quickly. Prices weren't too bad. A lotttt of food which is nice. My boyfriend LOVED his chicken shawarma. It's his favorite thing he ate on our Seattle trip. I really liked my lamb one as well. The knafeh was okay compared to others I've had but still good.

Ok as a wrap, but not a true shawarma. I was really excited about trying out this new spot, especially as I saw the menu, the Arabic words in their wall art, and the fact that they made their Shawarma's out of saj bread! I finally tried it out, and I was disappointed to see that they just used tortilla instead of saj and the beef Shawarma was pretty much just Gyro meat not beef/lamb sliced shawarma meat. As a wrap, the taste was ok, just not the place I would go I'm craving some Arabic food. I did like their fries, and their chocolate baklava looked interesting! Also no complaints with the friendly staff service and the casual atmosphere, the team was welcoming.

I saw their crispy shawarma on TikTok and came by to try their chicken. The food was prepared relatively quickly. Unfortunately, the wrap itself wasn't crispy and was actually lukewarm when I took a bite. There was a good amount of chicken in the wrap, and the seasoning was decent. The bathroom definitely could have been cleaner. I did experience some stomach discomfort afterward, so I probably wouldn't try it again.

Tried the viral TikTok shawarma wrap and the flavor is there -- bold, fresh, and really satisfying. Loved the taste and spice combo, though I'd make it a tad crispier next time for extra texture. Still one of the best Mediterranean wraps I've had in Seattle

The falafel sandwich was really good and so were the fries. They got a little soggy and messy on the trip back home but a little microwave time fixed that. The portions are very generous here. I did take out and my order was ready in like 10 minutes or less so very efficient service. It's got a small dine in area that's a little lifeless, but clean and functional if you want to eat in. Will be back!

These days, for some reason, I have been really into Mediterranean food. Lately, I've been visiting many Mediterranean restaurants in the Seattle area to find the best one. Lately, I was recommended to try out Shawarma Shack in Capitol Hill. It is located right across from Seattle Central College, right in the heart of the Capitol Hill area. For those familiar with the neighborhood, parking can be a bit challenging. However, with a little patience, you can usually find a spot in a nearby garage or on the street after driving around a few blocks. Now, let's get into the most important part. The place looks pretty new and well-managed. There are plenty of tables, and the spacing between them is generous enough for my friends and me to enjoy our conversations while we eat. In terms of the menu, there are a lot of options including gyro wraps, shawarma wraps, platters, salads, and a variety of vegetarian dishes. For most menu items, you can choose a protein such as beef, lamb, or chicken. Offering vegetarian options is a big plus. To make the most out of our trip to Capitol Hill, we ordered the #1 Chicken Shawarma Combo and the #2 Beef and Lamb Shawarma Combo. Each combo is priced at $15.95 before sales tax and tip, and it comes with crispy French fries, sauce, pickles, and a canned drink. Our food was made fresh in the kitchen after we ordered, and it was brought to our table by the staff. Both staff members were very friendly and professional. As you can see in the photos I attached, the combo items are served in boxes so it makes easy to take food to go or save leftovers. The portion size was generous, and each wrap was cut in half, so my friend and I were able to share both the chicken and the beef and lamb wraps. When it comes to taste, the food was excellent. I am not exaggerating here... this is the best shawarma I've ever had. While I haven't had a lot of Mediterranean food, this is easily my favorite so far. Since we were both fully satisfied with our wraps, we decided to end our meal with dessert here. We ordered one baklava and one choclava. Wow! Do not skip dessert here!! It was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend Shawarma Shack to anyone looking for flavorful shawarma and authentic desserts. I will definitely be back anytime soon to try their gyros.

10/10 Everything about this meal was 10/10 Quick efficient service, fresh ingredients and tasty food. I ordered the #1 Combo which includes chicken shawarma, fries, garlic sauce, pickles and a canned drink. I do wish they had straws to put in the canned drinks just because I am weird about drinking straight from the can (germs) but that's ok! The chicken combo was delicious, the fries are the best. The chicken shawarma was flavorful and full of fresh veggies, loved the sauce. The fries were so crispy and freshly made. The garlic sauce to dip was also next level. The packaging for to go is an extra bonus to this place, I love an easy grab and go. You will not regret coming here! I will for sure be returning this was a 10/10 without question.

I received a free combo meal for a customer appreciation day, which was really sweet! They were very nice and we had a great chat. It's a new place so I definitely want to see them thrive. Unfortunately, I received the wrong food and didn't realize it until I made it home to Fremont, so I didn't go all the way back to Cap Hill to try to fix it. I ordered a falafel wrap combo and got chicken. I don't eat chicken but I gave it to my partner and he said it was good. I was disappointed but it was free so oh well! The fries were good and I was a big fan of the garlic sauce. I also got baklava which was pretty good. I want to go back and try the falafel so I can make this a 5 star review. Definitely worth a try! The mural on the wall was really cool too.

**Would give a 3.5/5* I was craving Mediterranean food and found this place on Yelp with great reviews that recently opened within the last month. You walk in here and it's a pretty casual vibe with plenty of tables and seating available. Super sweet staff working there! I ordered the chicken gyro plate ($15.95) and a side of fries ($4.95). You get so much in the plate it's definitely enough for 2 meals. The plate came with rice (under the chicken), chicken, hummus, salad, 4 slices of pita and tzatziki (but I asked for garlic sauce instead). The chicken was pretty good, definitely different from other Mediterranean places I've had before, but I enjoyed it. The yellow rice was okay. It felt more like a packaged rice that you just microwave. The pita was warm and the hummus was just alright in my opinion. I love pickles with my Mediterranean food and it's a key thing for me, so I was super glad they had them and I made sure to get extra. I would definitely recommend the garlic sauce here if you're a fan of it. The French fries were seasoned and cooked to perfection!! I would highly recommend these. While we were eating, one of the staff members brought us out complimentary desserts which was so sweet! We got one baklava and one chocolava. I'm not a huge baklava fan, but tried this one and it was pretty decent. The chocolava on the other hand was AMAZING. If you're going to get a dessert here it has to be this one. Not a bad spot to come for lunch or dinner. You get plenty of food for the price you. Could definitely get 2 meals out of this.

Tried this spot in their opening week to grab food for a picnic, the people working were really nice and fast. They even accidentally upgraded one of my friends order to a combo. Overall the food was good, I'd go back. I liked the choclava a lot, I ate it after my lunch and it was very warm and gooey after being the sun.

Went to check this new spot out today - i got a chicken shawarma wrap and it came with greek fries, a drink, and they threw in a baklava too. The service was super friendly and pretty fast too. The meal was intense. The wrap is a monster saucy chicken-y brick of very late night-esque food. Add a pile of thick cute super crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside fries smothered in feta and garlic sauce and you've got the pinnacle of an indulgence meal. This was hearty, greasy, and heeaavyy in a good way. But hey they also give you a pepper, some olives, and pickles to cut it.

This was a new place that showed up in my suggestions and wanted to try this for Saturday night dinner. We picked up the order, parking is difficult around the area and the place is right next to Fob sushi bar. The is big has seating, but is more of a takeout place. The food was bad. I ordered the chicken platter it was dry and flavorless probably one of the worst I have tried in a long while. Their hot sauce was not good neither was the garlic sauce. Everything just lacked flavor. Service was fine our ordered was given pretty fast.

Visiting Seattle from California and needed some delicious late-night dinner. We walked up on Shawarma shack and were immediately greeted by a very friendly staff member who was super helpful! We got 2 delicious rice plates and some baklava. The ambiance is bright and fresh and fun! Highly recommend checking this place out if you are in town! Quick, fresh, and delicious!

The gyro are very taste and large serving size. The staff is friendly and welcoming. A hidden gem on broadway that not so busy and plenty of room to sit. FYI the fries are so fresh and flavorful. I will definitely come again.

Hands down 10/10. i LOVE shawarmas especially the ones back home in the Middle East but non here truly hit like back home except this restaurant. I stopped by few days ago and ordered the chicken shawarma meal which was a huge portion and worth the money you pay. We are visiting from out of town and didn't have any idea where to have dinner. We are so glad that we came across Shawarma Shack. We got wraps and salads (there was 5 of us ). We had French fries , choclava and baklava. It was all delicious. We loved our dinner and we will come back before we leave to have another dinner. Service was fast , pleasant and everything was fresh.

Fantastic food. Had to grab the take away cartons from my husband so he wouldn't eat them. The chicken shawarma was some of the best I've(we've) had in Seattle. Now I know how to wrap my husband around my little finger! Shawarma Shack, hmmmmm.

One month after opening, and I wish they would NOT add water to the delicious hummus so it's soupier and thin. I think Shawarma Shack are really trying to cut cost corners, but watery hummus is a taste mistake. They serve the hummus in 8 oz plastic container, even for eat-inside orders. They fill the container only halfway with hummus, then garnish the top with 2 olives, oil, and 1 yellow pepperoncini. Can not eat inside there because it smells so much like disinfectant Fabuloso that restaurants should stop using to clean off their tables. It STINKS. How are we supposed to smell the food? Took my soupy hummus to go. Really hope that next time getting chicken shawarma will be great!

A very clean and welcoming environment! Right when I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly worker who recommended the Chicken Gyro. I tried that instead of the falafel and was very satisfied! Chicken gyro was yummy and filling.

Had some time to kill, popped in here before a concert and bought the beef and lamb shawarma combo. Staff was nice, food was great. Eating here again next time I'm in Capitol Hill!
