Awesome experience the host had the upmost respect and we had a great time check the photos out for a great time we especially like the lavender coffee and they have all kinds of Italian specialties, every day they have. A chef special and the chili is also amazing u cannot go wrong with anything h order, very fresh a very well taken care of

Excellent food, service and cosy neighborhood vibe. We had the special cheese steak. It was delicious with brisket and a soft bun with a tangy onion. The Kessler turkey sandwich’s was a nice creative twist on the turkey classic with apples. The Greek salad was huge with fresh ingredients and a chef quality balsamic dressing. Highly recommended for pickup or dining.

Simply put, Shayna’s Place never disappoints! The food is always fresh, the staff is super friendly, and the restaurant always feels clean and inviting. I love the Rise & Shine toast but literally everything is good!! Huge kudos to the owner, Thomas, for always being so friendly and engaging. 10/10 every time!!

“love is all you need.” Quiet cafe I stumbled upon one afternoon. I like their creative decors with the space they have. Only tried drink, maybe their sandwiches next time. Staffs friendly and give you space. Place has parking spots which are nice in such a popular area. I really enjoyed their quote on the wall, “love is all you need.” And “surely goodness and loving kindness will follow me all the days of my life. “

This place was awesome!! The service was excellent, and everybody was super friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The food was amazing too! The love waffle was delicious! We will definitely be going back.

Passing by looking for a place to get a snack and the picture of the cappuccino caught my eye. The atmosphere was very comfortable, we were greeted right away. We took our time looking over the menu and when the time came to step up to order were attended right away. The pricing was expected and worth every penny. Pictures do not do it justice! Try it out!!!

The staff was so accompanying to us bringing in a big group and always treated us with such great customer service and friendly smiles. I can’t believe this place isn’t packed!! The food is SO good, and it’s a bonus that Thomas (owner) is so warm and kind! I love this place and everything they stand for.

I was craving a breakfast sandwich and safe to say, Shayna's Place is THE spot! The menu had so many varieties! The cafe, per the excellent staff, said they recently went through upgrades! The restaurant has plenty of seating and is super clean and comfy, perfect for a WFH day! We had the love waffle, which was very very hefty, full of eggs, cheese, bacon, and turkey sausage. Also the "new" smoked buffalo chicken salad sandwich on a brioche bun and it was AMAZING! We also had to grab one of their in house made pop tarts to go with our coffee and lavender latte! If you're in the Trinity Groves area, I highly recommend!

Food was too good I forgot to take a before pictures of my Town Gobbler twice! Luckily I remembered to snap a shot of my husband's Loaded Avocado Toast this time: his rating 10/10. He also is a huge fan of their coffee! I'd have to agree for black coffee--it's smooth and has a very nice aftertaste. The staff is astoundingly kind and respectful may I add. This is a tasteful little hole in the wall. I love a good, dependable hole in the wall to eat. As for dessert, the warmed lemon blueberry cinnamon roll was amazing! A perfect combination of lemon and blueberry. We look forward to being regulars!

Shayna's Place was wonderful! It looks like it just recently re-opened as there is currently a limited menu, however, it did not take away from the experience at all. I got the Reuben and I would definitely get it again. The jalapeño sauerkraut was the perfect level of heat. It's a fun take on a classic reuben, but it wasn't so hot that it took away from the other flavors of the sandwich. The service was great! Staff members were friendly, checked in often, and I even got a free sample of a smoothie (which was also delicious). It was the perfect little lunch spot for my day off! I'll be going back.

We loved our meal and would definitely recommend! The Kessler was seriously amazing! The turkey has an extra Smokey flavor and the cranberry spread was divine! Our group also had the Villager and chicken pomodori and loved it!! The salads were fresh and plated so well!

Love, love, love this place! Ordered delicious sandwiches and the most beautiful charcuterie platter for a catering event. Everything was beyond expectations! Great value too! I do a lot of catering and this is my new go to! Owner and workers were so nice! Go support this locally owned business! You will love it!

This is a great lunch place. Good bread, fresh veggies, delicious cheese and my husband loved the meat on his sandwich. Rarely is a vegetarian sandwich something to brag about but this place does it well. Service came with a smile and the owner will help make your meal delicious.

I love coming here and am so happy they have reopened after the renovations! The food is always fresh, the staff is always super nice and attentive! Plus the coffee and food are great! It's also located in a nice retail center so it's nice place to work or just get out of the house! Check them out

Food here is amazing! We love trying these small places because you can find diamonds in rough. Shayna's Place is one of those places. I had the waffle lover and the portion was so big it took up the whole plate. We are front Fort Worth but will definitely be back! Great food, great service. The staff is welcoming, friendly and so helpful. It is a quaint ambiance. You could also just come for coffee and sit on patio! The coffee selections are gourmet and will not disappoint. Highly recommend!

The location is great and the atmosphere inside is nice and lively. There is adequate seating for large groups and the menu has good variety. The only issue with my experience is the wait time for my food was longer than I was hoping.

The food is delicious and very tasty. We had 2 sandwiches from here and some Zapps Chips and I was very impressed with the quality of the food. Everything tasted clean and delicious! Next time I'll try a couple new things but I'll definitely be back. Highly Recommend!!

Great Vibes here. Great Service, Good Food, Very clean, lots of options. The waiter was very nice. He brought the, cutlery, drinks and food to the table. Food tasted good, but could have used a little more seasoning. Note, it is a little pricey but they use fresh, great quality ingredients. I'll be back yo try the breakfast. Drink: Starving Artist sans banana (make sure you love kale) Soup: Clam Chowder Main: Veggie Panini (very fresh)

Our family loves this spot! The brunch is exactly what you need and they have a real diverse selection from bagels, waffles, to breakfast sandwiches. Hard to find a spot that makes a great sandwich but this is it!

I ordered from GH a couple of times but wanted to go into the store. I love this place and the menu selection is the win. Do not omit the ChocoBanana Smoothie! The Lox Bagel is my favorite. I also like the banana and peanut butter bagel.

I tried the bacon, egg, potato and cheese breakfast burrito. It was really good! Fun location and great staff. I'll be back.

Got the town gobbler on multigrain and without cheese. It was so fresh & good! The bread was obviously & uniquely fresh. The place was extremely clean, not packed (indoor & outdoor seating available), & enforcing infection prevention measures. Staff were friendly, attentive, timely & wearing their masks appropriately which is major for me. I will be back!

The food was Oh-mazing!! Everything I ate was so delicious!! It's very uncommon to have each item you order to be on point. Also, the service was exceptional! Can't wait for them to come to Houston!

This place is 5 stars! My sammich was so good, I ordered the turkey club (not toasted) & a mocha latte I'll definitely be back. The service was great as well.

Came in for a light lunch and thought a sandwich would be a good way to go. Walking in, the menu was posted on the wall which was convenient. I decided on the club sandwich but thought it was weird listed under hot sandwiches as a club sandwich usually isn't hot. So I asked for the bread to be toasted and to add lettuce. (I also thought it was weird for a club sandwich to not have lettuce). The sandwich came out a few minutes later. It was pretty underwhelming. No dressing came on it, not even mayo. The lettuce that I asked for wasn't on it. And it's Just a single layer sandwich, not a triple layer club. It's basically a dry panini with turkey, the smallest amount of cheese, and one slice of tomato. Can't say the service was great either, which was disappointing since there were only two other people inside at the time. Most likely won't be back. I haven't tried the breakfast, but I'm confused at the numerous five star reviews from my experience today.

Amazing food and excellent service. In Dallas from Austin and wanted to try a local shop Shayna's Place did not disappoint. The food was, hot, fresh, and the flavor was incredible. Smoked turkey club and a Buffalo Chicken Salad sandwich, both of which were delicious. A fresh mangoñada hit the spot. The staff is friendly, and the vibe is comforting. Will definitely be back!

My new favorite place to grab coffee and espresso drinks and delicious sandwiches in the Sylvan Thirty shopping center! They also have smoothies and real sugar sodas. I can't believe it took me so long to find and try this place. I feel like I've tried most of the other places in this shopping center but for some reason never noticed or visited this place. Apparently, it's one of Yelp's top-rated sandwich shops in America and the #1 rated sandwich shop in Rhode Island, with the original location still there. Their grinder sandwich also won first place for best grinder in Rhode Island in a USA Today contest. Happy they have a second location here in Dallas and glad I finally visited! I've tried several of their sandwiches now and they've all been good. I've also tried their iced lavender latte which is also good and less expensive than some other coffee shops.

The menu is not transparent at all. I am vegan and said so when I asked for no honey on my peanut butter toast. On the menu there was no mention of butter. I ate the food and realized it was oily. I asked if there was butter in it and there was. They said they just don't have it listed on the menu. Extremely disappointed that they didn't mention butter as an ingredient.

Finally made it over to try this super cute little breakfast/lunch spot at Sylvan 30. They offer pastries, coffee, fresh juices, sandwiches & salads - ya know, the asic brunch/lunch type of stuff. On my recent visit I had the Mediterranean salad with a scoop of the curried chicken salad. My mom had the turkey sandwich (I think it was the Kessler). Portions were generous and everything was really yummy! My only gripe was with the pricing. About $12 for a sandwich and they don't come with chips! Still, I can definitely see myself coming back for a quick lunch bite during the week.

Stopped here after a morning of furniture shopping. My mom, sister, and I stopped here for a bite to eat. My mom had a meatball sandwich and loved it. My sister had a sandwich with turkey and avocado. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals!

I really enjoy their sandwiches. They're pretty tasty and the perfect portion for lunch. In particular I'd recommend the Tuna and Peace Train sandwiches. My only complaint is that the staff is really bad at listening to directions for coffee. I've ordered an iced latte only to receive a hot one. I've also ordered a lavender latte only to receive one with zero flavor. If they could get the coffee orders right this place would have 5/5 stars.

Hi there, I enjoy coming to Shayna's Place for the great environment and overall quality (some good coffee). There was a worker who shared a solid recommendation on what to order, too. I highly recommend people to come here in Sylvan 30!

I've been coming here since they first opened and I've never been disappointed. I've never actually ate at the restaurant, I've always taken mine Togo. Their chicken salad sandwich (the villager) is amazing. I absolutely HATE mayonnaise but find myself making sure there's none left on the sandwich wrapping. The prices are a bit pricey but most small shops are and it's definitely worth the money. Not a huge fan of the Zapps brand of kettle chips but the sandwiches also come with a huge pickle. Their lemonade is addicting. Very thankful they are open during this COVID lockdown!

Cute place! Sandwich menu was super interesting, never seen anything like it actually lol. I wanted to be basic and get some stuff from the breakfast menu because all of that looked great, but I branched out and got the Traveler. Was good ! I'd definitely get it again. Next time I come, I'm going to try the coffee and smoothies.

This place has amazing food and menu. Restrooms are clean and the parking is ample. The service is sometimes lacking because it seems there's a lot of turnover. I've never seen the same person twice. So even though they want to be a neighborhood sandwich shop the service isn't there. They contribute a lot of the selection of sandwich options in the area but I wish they could do better about the service; instead of treating it like they work st subway they need to act like it's a neighborhood spot.

Really great place with an awesome story of why the owner started it. My sister's name is Shayna and spelled it the same way. I love all the specials they have and the food was good! Really like the sauces. The guy helping me and my wife was really nice. I forgot his name but it starts with an F. But he and Shayna's Place gets an A.

Low key, no fuss coffee and sandwich shop. Great for having a meeting and getting some emails out. Service is super quick and the coffee is always fresh. They also try and focus on sustainable resources as well.

Stopped in for a quick lunch, ordered coffee, avocado, egg, ham & Swiss on a toasted crescent with a cup of broccoli soup. All was very good, fresh & correctly made. The food, as sandwich cafes go, was 3 1/2 stars. I rounded down for the below reasons. A little pricey $16.12 for soup, sandwich & coffee. I had checked in for a Yelp offer of 25% discount & will give the benefit of doubt the cashier didn't hear/understand me or honestly forgot. Nonetheless I didn't get the offered discount for mY Yelp check in. More problematic was throwing a couple dollars in the tip jar without noticing the signature pad defaulting to a tip, without me selecting to do so. $18.36 + $2 cash tip for a sandwich ordered at a counter is stiff for the product & style of restaurant. I am happy to tip but I feel it should be what I feel is appropriate. Having waited tables in my younger days, I always tip in cash if possible. I'll probably try here again, but will be cautious to get any requested discount offered & will be aware of an inappropriate tip default when paying by card.

Too many things for me to write about this mediocre, overpriced sandwich shop. Not worth the time or effort to drive to (20 miles). Those that follow my reviews know that I am a burger guy. At the counter when I ordered two burgers, the counter help laughed, saying "We don't have burgers, only sandwiches." I told her that I saw them posted on pictures on Yelp. Another employee said "We stopped selling those a year ago." Misleading information posted about this place and not maintained by management. 2 sandwiches, 2 bowls of runny bland clam chowder (we had to ask for crackers), 1 banana muffin with a scoop of vanilla ice cream = $40 + tax +tip. TIP? For counter service? The options given at payment time recommended 15%, 18%, 20%, FOR WHAT? I will not be going back to this place and I will not recommend it.

I am starting to learn not to trust 4.5 starred reviews in Dallas. This food is EXPENSIVE - for no reason. I had a rather bland chicken sandwhich that was aggressively small - $16.00. Granted, I paid extra to add chicken to the vegetable sandwich, but that was because they were out of all other chicken sandwiches. The $4 upcharge for chicken got me about 1.5 ounces of mushy chicken that badly needed salt. Together with a small cup of OK soup and a drink, I made out at just about $25.00. Not worth it at all. I walked away unsatisfied, irritated, and feeling ripped off.

Breakfast sandwich was awesome! Their blueberry matcha smoothie had TONS of FIBERS and vitamins that my body needed. My husband got the banana smoothie and said it tasted like Mexican chocomilk which he likes.

Such a cute little place that serves all day breakfast & has lunch. I highly recommend to come grab a bite in or to go. The staff is so friendly & makes you feel welcome! My morning glory sandwich was so delicious.

Wasn't the biggest fan of this place. It's still new, so there's definitely a lot of room for improvement. To start off, the parking is plentiful but the lot has sand. So anytime you're getting into your car, you're dragging sand gravel in with you. I came in, and ordered the tuna salad sandwich and requested it on a toasted croissant. Unfortunately, it didn't come toasted. I requested that I get it toasted, and 3 employees gave me strange looks. It took them awhile to get to toasting it so I sat back down. I soon smelled burnt croissant. The guy circled around the corner with my charcoaled croissant. I flipped it to see the inside and it was completely black. Not sure why they thought it was ok to serve it like that. I sent it back and then waited another 20 minutes for my sandwich. It was decent but not good enough to have waited that long for what I had intended to be a quick lunch.

The BEST breakfast sandwich I have ever had! I work over at a nearby hospital and came here to try their breakfast after a call shift. I was stunned! The place itself is very easy to get to, there is ample parking. The restaurant is cute and modern, very chic coffeeshop style. The staff was very polite, and very accommodating of me when I asked to get one of their breakfast sandwiches on a croissant instead of an English muffin. I would highly recommend the Morning Glory sandwich (ask for a croissant!). Everything about it is fresh. Beautifully fried egg, mashed avocado, and perfectly seasoned veggies. Really impressed! The portion size is perfect for breakfast. I also had one of their fruit smoothies as a special treat. Yum! I will most certainly be back after my next call shift!

Close to where my daughter lives so I've driven by 3 dozen times and somehow have been missing out on a nice place. Great quality ingredients makes for a fantastic meal. Good service, great looking, very clean place. And you get 25% off of Yelp checkin and if your local you get points and a local resident discount. I would love to come back and try their smoothies and other items.
