Paula Deen’s Southern Restaurant Disappears From DFW’s Dining Scene | Eater Dallas

"A second location branded “the Annex” has opened in the space formerly occupied by Local Press + Brew; operating daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., it focuses on on-the-go fare such as juices, coffee, grab-and-go salads, and breakfast tacos supplied by Tacodeli." - Amy McCarthy

Shayna’s Place, a Sandwich Shop with a Mission, Will Open at Sylvan Thirty | Eater Dallas

"A Rhode Island–based, family-owned sandwich café is opening a new location in late summer next to CiboDivino Marketplace in the Sylvan | Thirty development. The owner chose the site for its family feel and aims to offer a community-focused alternative to chain restaurants while creating employment opportunities for people with special needs — a mission inspired by the owner's cousin, who has Down Syndrome. The menu spans breakfast, lunch and dinner with sandwiches, salads, smoothies, pastries and juices, plus coffee, soda, wine and beer. A standout item is a grinder featuring prosciutto di Parma, salami, capicola, sharp provolone, tomatoes, hot peppers and a special dressing that once won first place in a Rhode Island grinder competition." - Adele Chapin

Google
I had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Shayna’s Place in Rhode Island. The food was exceptional — fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. Everything I tried was of outstanding quality and very reasonably priced. What really made the visit special was the atmosphere and the people. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the owner Matthew went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt at home. He shared great recommendations for things to do in the area and had such a warm, personal approach that truly set this place apart. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by Shayna’s Place — you won’t be disappointed!

Google
By far one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had!!! My husband and I came and had the “Oh my Eggplant” and I am in awe. The sandwich was perfect- breaded eggplant with delicious mozzarella on a fresh ciabatta! And the owner came out and told us how his wife, when they first met, used to make this sandwich for him when he was fishing. When they opened this shop, he knew it had to be one of the sandwiches they put on the menu. I know I’ll be back soon, because from the atmosphere to the food, Shayna’s is one of the best places I’ve come to!!!

Google
Shayna’s Place greets you with a sign deeming them the #1 sandwich place in Rhode Island! The interior is well-decorated, spacious enough for groups of 2-4. There’s also outdoor seating alongside the road and in the back facing the water. We got the Gilbert Stuart and the Judy’s Farm sandwiches and we loved them! They had a lot of cool combos for sandwiches, including green apples and cranberry chutney, so I’d recommend stopping by!

Google
If you happen to be visiting Wickford, RI, do yourself a favor and have a sandwich from this place. Voted the number one Grinder in Rhode Island for a reason. The wick fig is fantastic, as well as the Vinny.

Google
Great sandwiches!!!! Super fresh!!!! Delicious bread, the ciabatta has the perfect crunch! I love The Gobbler- it’s the one with cranberry sauce and turkey- oh it’s so good! All the sandwiches have a unique combination that simply works! Great music too!

Google
Was served a Baby Kale salad with rotted kale. Decided to give them another chance so I ordered another Baby Kale salad on a different day and told them about my previous experience. The second salad had rotted Kale and rotted romaine. So disappointing. Was hoping to make this a new favorite place!

Google
Very good sandwiches, I had the Wick Fig and my wife had the Gilbert Stewart. Mine: for my taste buds was overly sweet, way too much fig spread, which overpowered the cheese and bacon to the point I had to relook at the menu to ensure it was supposed to be there. Still it was good, just not great for me. I had it on the multigrain bread, which was very good. I had also sampled my wife’s GS, which was actually much better than mine, because it wasn’t so sweet. Overall I would return and order differently. There’s no table service, so giving a service score is actually non applicable. Parking is free on street and I believe there is a back side parking lot close by

Google
We have been to Shayna's a few times now and at different times, lunch and breakfast. Food is very well prepared with fresh ingredients - their breakfast sandwiches are delicious! They also have great selection of pastries, we tried their chocolate croissant and it is delicious. Great smoothies options, which we are planning to try next time. Service is very friendly and fast. Atmosphere is cozy. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Such delicious sandwiches and a stellar maple latte! I was very excited to try this place after seeing them make it to Yelp's top eats and top sandwiches! They earned those titles for good reason. Their food is locally sourced and so fresh! All of their sandwiches are phenomenal, especially their grinder! Their house made ciabatta is crispy on the edges and soft in the middle. And the sandwich doesn't fall apart when you eat it. They also have delicious drinks and great service! I recommend (on a nice day) grabbing a sandwich and coffee and heading to the river to eat it.

Yelp
**November 2025: Sunday Late Morning Visit** My friend and I had done quite a bit of walking and driving all morning so we were ready for a mid morning snack. I found Shayna through my research and that it was an award winning sandwich shop - $1 Sandwich shop in Rhode Island and Best Grinder from USA Today. Parking: We were able to find street parking right in front of the restaurant; however we later learned that there was a public parking lot right behind as well as a very clean public restroom. We entered the homey cafe and after pondering what to get I picked the Green Eggs and Ham sandos, two hot chocolates, and a chocolate croissant. The chocolate croissant was flaky and had ooegy gooey chocolate in the center. The sando came out pretty quickly and I really enjoyed this though the size was pretty small. I was surprised that they used avocado instead of pesto sauce for their "green" eggs but it was tasty nonetheless. I also order a grinder to go to enjoy for lunch later. The Italian sando was good, but not the number 1 sando in America IMHO. The pricing for this cafe seems similar to California pricing as is the size of their goods. Taste wise I enjoyed the food.

Yelp
The service was great, the ambiance was giving cozy small town vibes, and their sandwiches were delicious! I got the "Beenana" peanut butter honey banana sandwich (make sure you have water if you try this because it does make you thirsty). Would definitely come back and would recommend!! They also have some yummy looking smoothies that i would love to come back and try.

Yelp
Cute sandwich shop in Wickford that is worth visiting if you have patience and time. It is busy, with limited seating, but they make a great sandwich. Too busy to clean as the go or do maintenance apparently (see picture). Only self-order food at the counter available. I would give higher review if they cleaned up and did some maintenance.

Yelp
Coffee is delicious, I got an iced maple latte made with local maple syrup and it was the perfect level of sweetness. The sandwiches are top notch - why else would they be #1 in RI for sandwhiches? I got the wick fig and it was amazing. Every bite has flavor right to the butt of the sandwhich. I've been here to get their smoothies before and those are also delicious. It's beautiful out finally and their outdoor seating is quaint and beautiful by the wickford waterfront. Bathrooms are a short walk outback and look handicap accessible. Every time I come back I remember i need to actually come even more often! Service is always friendly and QUICK. It wasn't that busy today, but I've been here when it was and the service was still fast.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a Friday around 11:30. I was able to get a parking spot in the lot under construction just down the street which was nice. Was really excited to try these sandwiches and they did not disappoint! I wanted to try so many of the sandwiches. It was hard to decide what to order. There was a small line to order. I chose the Hussey Bridge warmed. It took about 15 minutes for the sandwich to come out. There are some tables inside and outside in the front and side. I loved this sandwich. It was exactly what I wanted. The bread was crispy and the flavors worked so well. The cheese was melted and it was just great! Prices were a little high for just a sandwich ~$16 but I would am happy to pay that for the delicious sandwich! Would love to come back and try a different sandwich or the same one! Yum!

Yelp
Once again Shayna's did not disappoint! The cranberry chutney makes the Gilbert Stuart truly finger licking good! The oatmeal cookie was rich and soft and yummy!! The maple latte was really creamy and had hints of maple throughout. Perfection! My friend who was visiting from Costa Rica got the clam chowder-it truly smelled intriguing to me and she Raved about it!!
google avatar

Yelp
I love this sandwich. The turkey is good quality, the cranberry jam is excellent, and the cheese is great. I don't even generally like sprouts but they go perfectly in this sandwich. There's a reason this place is always crowded and has the awards it does! The only thing keeping it from five stars for me is that I wish there was a bit less meat, as some bites lose the other ingredient combinations, but that's likely personal preference. I'll definitely return and order this again!!

Yelp
I am on the hunt for the best Italian Sangwich in Rhode Island. Today, my journey took me to Shayna's Place in Wickford. This charming spot can be found right on one of the main roads that run through downtown Wickford. Inside, you're warmly greeted by friendly staff who are happy to answer questions, and offer accommodations for whatever you may need. The space is clean, open and welcoming with greenery around to give the space that "c'mon in and stay a while" feeling. I got the Vinny, their version of a RI classic. Overall, the sangwich was 8.5/10. The homemade ciabatta was delicious, the meats sliced thin and were easy to eat. All the ingredients tasted fresh and prepared with love. It comes with Shayna's dressing, which while tasty, was a little sweet for my personal tastes. Overall a lovely experience and I will definitely go back again to try other selections! They also offer breakfast and specialty coffees so keep this spot in mind for breakfast or lunch!

Yelp
Heard this was voted the #1 sandwich shop in Rhode Island! Paid $20 for a sandwich and a cookie, which is pretty pricey in my book, but the cookie was great and only $3! Unfortunately they definitely forgot about my order because my friend who ordered after me and the four people after that all got their sandwiches first. All to say it's a bit slow. I got the Gilbert Stuart without mayo, chutney, and cheese-- it was fine, but nothing to call home about (though it could be because I removed stuff). I also said I did not want a pickle and they put one anyway, which is fine but feels wasteful and left pickle juice! The cafe itself is super cute and the people seem nice. My friend enjoyed fig sandwich and gave it a 8/10. My overall review is probably 3.5 stars.
google avatar

Caitlin B.

Yelp
Sandwiches were just as amazing as the reviews said. They were offering free delicious donuts to customers . If I lived here, I would frequent it often!

Yelp
Another delicious sandwich day! I happen to have the pleasure of being nearby and of course I wanted to try a sandwich! I came here once for the Yelp event, and now I look for excuses to be this far for this treat. Late mornings seem to be the prime time to be around with seating availability and not too much of a crowd. I ordered my favorite wig, fig sandwiches to go! This place was clean, staff was prompt, and very friendly locals enjoying a good meal~ I did note that the sign for the restroom shared that it's located in the back of the building and is for the whole public. Personally I did not want to venture outside with my delicious sandwich or leave my stuff unattended. This was my only inconvenience. Something to note for those who have digestive or bathroom struggles ~ otherwise, this trip was worth it. Give it a definite try friends!

Yelp
I have been here three times in the past two months. All I can say is the sandwiches and maple latte have me hooked. It is clean, everyone there is pleasant and the decor is adorable. It can get busy but it is expected because the place is awesome! The sandwiches so far have been fabulous. There is usually two of us when I go. We split a Wick Fig each time because the flavor is phenomenal. (And personally the best sandwich I have ever had). And then the second sandwich we have changed it up between the Italian and the oh my eggplant. Can't wait to try the others!

Yelp
Shayna's place is a must visit sandwich shop in North Kingstown RI. I am so happy I tried it, because now that I did I'll have to stop by on the way to the beach this summer! The staff was incredibly kind and they had a wide variety of sandwiches to choose from. The sandwiches were the perfect combination of crunchy from the fresh roll and yummy from the fresh ingredients. I got Vinny's kitchen which is Shayna's take on an Italian grinder and it was delicious! The prosciutto and Shayna's special dressing are what make this sandwich. I can't wait to come back again!

Yelp
Made my second visit to this wonderful little spot in Wickford! I had the Gilbert Stuart and seriously...best sandwich ever! I would give anything to have the cranberry chutney recipe so I could make it for thanksgiving! Fabulous staff, delicious food, A+++++!!!

Yelp
First time visiting Shayna's for the yelp elite event and glad we did! This spot is a small, cozy shop with several tables for seating and is very busy, sandwiches are their specialty but they also have coffees, baked goods, salads, fresh juices and smoothies! The sandwiches were super fresh and could tell they use high quality ingredients. I got the meatball on ciabatta and it was delicious! To top it off their staff were very busy and still maintained great service, very friendly and knowledgeable!

Feral G B.

Yelp
Best sandwich I ever had PERIOD!......Highly recommend. Friendly staff, great service. Relaxing ambiance with the Dj and owner Shayna playing some nice tunes, didn't wanna leave!

Yelp
Cute little sandwich shop in Wickford, food was okay and lemonade was okay. I was excited to try this place out with my husband because they have a sign that says they have the best sandwiches and I really didn't think it was the best. The bread was hard and cut the inside of my mouth. Lemonade was way too watered down, maybe I need to try something else from there and I'll update my review, but I wasn't impressed. Service was nice but slow. I will add that the pickles are really good!
google avatar

Robert I.

Yelp
A fabulous sandwich restaurant! Fun, Cheerful, pleasant & efficient service. The best sandwiches I have ever had! Great location , in the heart of Wickford! I have been telling all my friends about it and will be back, soon!
google avatar

Margie S.

Yelp
I saw this on a local bloggers page and I was in the area thought to stop by. It's adorable. Friendly staff ! The sandwiches along with a latte were really delicious. I had the turkey gobbler and my husband enjoyed the Vinny / Italian. Everything was so fresh. Service was really fast considering It was really busy for a Thursday as well. It's on street parking in this little village In Wickford RI. It's definitely worth the ride. Great cozy place to relax with friends. Shops everywhere to wander through after a fantastic lunch.
google avatar

Sharon S.

Yelp
The food is very good! This visit I wasn't that hungry so I opted for a simple Bee Nana sandwich - you can never go wrong when you combine bananas, Peanutbutter & honey! It was on multigrain, lightly toasted bread and was delicious! My husband chose the sandwich - Judy's Farm and could not stop raving about it. I already know what I'm going to try next visit - Wick Fig (turkey, bacon, cheddar & fig jam)! It's a cute, quaint place with both indoor and outdoor seating, that is nestled in the center of beautiful Wickford Village. Everyone is friendly, but expect a little wait - it's so popular it's always busy - but very worth the wait! I definitely recommend this place!
google avatar

Erin W.

Yelp
4.5 overall. Had the Gobbler (turkey, avocado, [subbed Provolone for the baby Swiss] mayo, lettuce, tomato on Ciabatta... shared this with my husband with a bag of chips. Also, grabbed a Chocolate croissant to go. My husband doesn't love chocolate but said the croissant "made [him] happy". One bite was all it took and he was in love. Left full and satisfied. Lost half a star because the blonde at the register was rude... pretty sure asking for a cup of water is a simple request. The rest of the staff was extremely friendly.
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
I ordered an egg plant sandwich. This is an easy sandwich to screw up. But Shayna's nailed it! It was delicious! Great indoor atmosphere. Cafe vibes. Friendly staff. They have a window to order from outside as well with a cute courtyard to relax in. It can get very busy on the weekends, but they are very efficient.

Matt S.

Yelp
Sandwich was good but not close to "best in RI." Most Italian grinders I get n RI have 4X or more meat and cheese for same price. Good bread. Good service - nice young people working. Cute area so you're paying for location. If you're eating in Wickford anyway, I'd recommend it but it's not a destination sandwich shop.

Shirly P.

Yelp
They definitely can't handle a lunch rush! No online ordering and when I called the phone numbers didn't work. Ordered a smoothie which took about 20 mins. Goldmine of a location but overwhelmed with keeping up with service - disappointed today
google avatar

Andrew C.

Yelp
We stopped here for lunch at the start of a family vacation in New England. We found a great table outside with a nice breeze coming off the inlet. Claudette got a Plum Beach salad and I got the Judy's Farm sandwich (unfortunately they were sold out on the Papa Joe's meatball). Both meals were great! We shared an awesome chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Worth the stop!
google avatar

Lynn W.

Yelp
I really loved Shayna's Place. It is cozy and very deserving of the wonderful reviews it has received. I enjoyed the Gilbert Stuart sandwich, which was packed with roasted turkey, sliced green apple, and cranberry chutney throughout. Topped with alfalfa sprouts and romaine lettuce, it was very filling and oh so tasty. The ciabatta bread was incredibly fresh. I can definitely see why the cafe was touting its rating on Yelp as one of Yelp's "50 best sandwich shops across America" and the #1 sandwich shop in RI. We were smart to arrive early for lunch at 11:30 because the line was out the door less one hour later. It is popular and has really good food. The only slight negative is it is a little pricy.
google avatar

Nancy P.

Yelp
The sandwiches are delicious. And generous in size. And come with a good crisp pickle, if you're into that. I stop In whenever I'm in Wickford! I've never been disappointed.
google avatar

Victoria G.

Yelp
I was shocked when the owner saw my daughter sitting at a table who is four years old, and then seated three adults over the two of us. I left.

B S.

Yelp
We loved the meatball sandwich on ciabatta. The ciabatta was delicious. You can buy the bread I asked!
google avatar

Azure G.

Yelp
Cute spot in an adorable area! Prices are a bit steep for sandwiches, but they're tasty and not totally shocking given its location. Service was friendly, food came out fairly quickly and seating wasn't too hard to come by. I also got a juice -- not the best I've had (not a fan of ice being added and it was more pulpy than I expected) but it gave me my daily dose of fruits and veggies and was again, tasty. Would certainly recommend for a nice casual lunch spot with friends, family, solo, or on a date. Not sure about a good location to work from as I didn't try their wifi or look for outlet accessibility. Would be curious to hear if others had input on that!
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
One of the best sandwich places ever! When visiting Rhode Island, I decided to visit on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed. I ordered an iced latte with caramel and Vinny's Kitchen sandwich (Voted #1 Best Grinder on USA Today)! Vinny's Kitchen sandwich was BOMB. It includes proscuitto, salami, capicola, provolone, onion, romaine, hot peppers, and dressing. I omitted the hot peppers, since I can't eat super spicy food but I would 1000% make the trip back to Rhode Island to eat this again! The coffee is just okay (nothing special there), but come for the sandwich, any sandwich. My friends ordered Cluster's Last Ham and the dressing was sooo good on it too. It was different from any other place I've tried! My friends and I loved this place so much that we decided we wanted to come back for a second time before we departed. Unfortunately, Shayna's is closed on Sundays so now I'm just stuck in NYC sadly thinking about this sandwich...
google avatar

Dan S.

Yelp
Very tasty sandwichs and lots of unique options. My wife got the Italian and I got the fig one (I forgot the exact names). All the ingredients were fresh and tasted great. Perfect spot to stop in for a quick bite around Wickford. You won't be disappointed.

Michael O.

Yelp
The smoothies are so delicious! Love the Fig Wig sandwich! Love supporting this local business.
google avatar

Yelp
During the annual family trip to the Rhode Island shores, our family gets super excited to hit up Shayna's place. I can get why it's acclaimed as one of the top sandwich shops in Rhode Island and even the country. I haven't had anything bad here. Between a stocked case that's almost sold out by the afternoon to many delicious sandwiches to various smoothies, there's something for everyone. My personal favorites are the Gilbert Stuart and the Wicked Fig. I sometimes tell my husband order the other sandwich so we can split it half and half. I love the apple and cranberry chutney inside the Gilbert Stuart. The Wicked Fig has the right amount of fig jam to keep me wanting more. Dr. Sig juice is a family favorite that at least one of us gets. I've lately been into the refreshing and sweet flavors of the starved artist smoothie. Maybe I just like kale smoothies now? Plenty of vegetarian options as well as my MIL loves getting the Peace Train and the Oh My Eggplant. I always make sure to stop by here or grab it on my ride home. Love Shaynas and until the next time we are in the area!

Yelp
Since we're from the OG Wickford (England, not USA), 4 of us stopped by for coffee and cake on the last day of our roadtrip from Bar Harbor to NY. Great coffee, great pastries and great service... double whammy, top 50 sandwich shops and best historic small town in America...now there's a something!
google avatar

Tammy P.

Yelp
Super cute restaurant with great staff! Stopped in for iced coffees but wish we stayed for food. Nice location too!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is so good. We make a trip there every year on vacation. I can see why the Vinny grinder is number one in the state of Rhode Island. We went the first week of August and the customer service matches the great food. Been going there for years and will never miss it.

Barbara L.

Yelp
Don't place a phone order! I called to place a phone order and was asked if I could hold for "one minute." I replied "sure." For the next 19 (19!) minutes I waited as we drove toward Wickford, listening to them take orders (I wasn't placed on hold - could hear everything going on there!). We finally arrived in Wickford and I just gave up and ended the call, saying (to myself) I will never go back again. This was very disappointing because we had a positive experience earlier in the week - mostly because of the interesting and tasty sandwich combinations. I get it that they were busy. However, if they really want to accept/encourage phone orders (they have an outdoor "order pick up window") they need to come up with a more efficient phone order process. I don't think we'll ever go back.

Yelp
This place is adorable! I love the signage outside too it drew me in! I got the Bee-Nana sandwich and it was delicious! The lemonade was great too! Staff seemed really friendly too!

Yelp
My mom, who lives nearby, and I have wanted to try this place for a long time. Time off from work due to injury freed up some time, so I took her here for lunch on a recent weekday. Shayna's Place is pefectly located in downtown historic Wickford, with plenty of parking, either on street, or in a nearby municipal (free) lot. For the size of the restaurant, there is a decent number of tables inside, and a few sidewalk tables. My mother especially admired the custom-built bar, with wainscoting and black walnut top. We even got to meet and talk with the owner (who is a former builder, and built that bar himself). Ambiance is top-notch, and there is always mood-setting music playing. We were told by an employee that much of the music is chosen by the owner's daughter, Shayna, who will even go so far as to tailor the music to the tastes of whichever employees happen to be working on any given day. On our first visit, we were listening to song covers played on classical guitar. Speaking of employees, we found each employee to be extremely polite and cheerful (a rarity these days). Being an Italian grinder afficionado, I just had to try the Vinny's Kitchen, which is Shayna's rendition of the sandwich, and voted best Italian grinder in Rhode Island by USA Today. If you read some of my other Yelp reviews, I have two favorite places for Italian grinders. Well, after eating Shayna's, I now have three favorite places for Italian grinders. All three are excellent, with fresh ingredients, yet different with their own nuances. Shayna's has the advantage, though, since they're closest to me, and have way better ambiance than my other two sandwich spots. So, yeah, for me, they have the best Italian grinder! Now that we have that out of the way, their fresh lemonade, and chocolate chunk cookies, were also excellent. So, I noticed other reviewers complained about the prices. True, they're not cheap. But, to me, they're not outrageous. There's two things to consider: First, there's this thing called inflation. Second, it's worth paying a premium for the ambiance. The ambiance was so good, in fact, that my mom wanted to go back a few days later, for coffee, and our second experience there was just as uplifting as our first.

Yelp
2nd time the bagels have been hard and stale. Also, not sure why, but none of their food (I've tried 3 different sandwiches) have any flavor. Super bland. Unfortunate, since it's in such a great area.

Reed B.

Yelp
Shayna's Place is the ONLY place!! Best sandwiches in RI. Drop your sails and common by! The WickFig left me a happy customer!!

Yelp
My favorite sandwich stop in our area. I live nearby and get to enjoy it often my favorite is the lox bagel

Yelp
The food here is amazing whether it's the sandwiches or pastries or salads!! I've been here quite a few times and it never disappoints! The workers are always so friendly and accommodating so the service is 10/10 which is so inviting! I love how cozy and cute this place is and how family oriented it is! i'll always recommend this amazing place to anybody looking for a good eat!!

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
The loveliest and most charming sandwich shop you'll find anywhere. Delicious sandwiches and welcoming, warm people. They are also extremely considerate of gluten allergies!

Justin P.

Yelp
Stoped in for a quick breakfast with my son. Great food and coffee. I was most impressed with the four young women working the counter. They worked quick, hard, and were very personable. They seemed to take pride in what they were doing and having fun at the same time. Very impressive / great experience.
google avatar

Amanda R.

Yelp
Shayna's Place is warm and welcoming with a case of homemade daily treats. This was my first time ordering a breakfast sandwich, I chose the morning glory and added fresh mozzarella to it and since they make all their juices and smoothies fresh I couldn't resist the Coach Lisa. I usually get the peace train at lunch - wether you are vegetarian or not it's a favorite. I add fresh mozzarella to that too- guess I like cheese! The cafe tables are mostly for 2 so traveling there in small groups or getting take out is the best option

R P.

Yelp
Needs enormously more attention to customer service to improve to a point where I would return. I observed at least 6 tables change-over parties of customers while I waited for my food. This is one of the places where they turn the pay-screen to ask for a 20% tip, but the service is slow and rude. Not once did the sneering young debutants behind the counter come out to wipe off the sloppy-sticky tables between customers -- it's a total germ hole! For a place in Wickford RI, how do they imagine it looks to us when they offer zero options for recycling their garbage (of course, despite demanding a healthy tip, they tell customers to serve themselves and clean the tables). I ended up taking my plastic cup home rather than just dump it in with the food compost. Let's bring back the Wickford Diner!
