I had a wonderful time at Sheesh Chigwell. Our waitress Kevin was very attentive and respectful. We were two hijabi’s and he instantly removed the wine glasses upon being seated without having to prompt him which was pleasant. Kevin was welcoming and had a very friendly face. The vibes of the restaurant were immaculate, both in and out. The food was amazing. I got the chicken leg (off the bone) meal. It was very filling and I’m a foodie and I just about finished it! The hand-cut chips were made with love. Honestly it sounds like a simple side dish, but it’s the best I’ve tasted. This place is worth the fine dining experience and price. I would definitely go again.

Came here for a celebration and cannot believe how hyped up it is. I understand it is in an affluent location with upscale guests, but the price tag to the dishes served are questionable. Upon arriving promptly at the time of our booking, we were told our table was getting ready so to wait in the upstairs bar. The wait was 25 minutes and I suspect was a ploy to order drinks while waiting, because why on earth would it take that long to get the table ready, especially when where we were seated was visibly empty when we arrived. We all ordered mocktails, tasted so basic and priced the same as cocktails which is a steal. Ordered a couple starters, the creamy mushrooms were tasty along with the shrimp. Very small portion size so that was disappointing. Then for the main we ordered the mix sheesh and lamb which came with salad only so we ordered the sunset rice and truffle chips as a side. The ratio of meat to salad was appalling, more salad than meat which tastes like any other Turkish place. Overall, a very disappointing experience, I get that it’s an upscale restaurant but it is clear they are established as a premium without offering any substance because of the types of people who frequent the place. We were also seated in the conservatory, which due to the outside weather being chilly was also cold indoors. The lighting was also very dark so having an equally dark menu was difficult to decipher as it needed the light to be brighter. I would not recommend nor return, think it’s overly hyped and the food offering can absolutely be found elsewhere along with a better atmosphere too.

When we arrived we were greeted by a nice door man who opened the doors for us. We were shown to our seat with a lovely setting with a live band upstairs. The chicken shish was juicy and had lots of flavour. The sizzling Prawn starter was spicy and succulent and The Lobster was very tasty. The truffle chips were filling and could share for two people. The rice was ok. We ate our food and went up stairs for more drinks and Kelly le roc and band were playing amazing music. A really nice restaurant and the atmosphere was buzzing. Staff were happy and friendly. A bit pricey but worth it.

We went to Sheesh Chigwell on Friday. When we arrived, the parking gate was closed, so we thought they were shut. But then someone used the buzzer, and they opened the gate for us. Inside, the place was clean and nice. The staff were friendly and gave us good info about the food.I ordered the mixed sheesh, and it was pretty good. It was a little oily, but very tasty. The portion was big – more than enough for one person. The only thing is, it cost £58, which I think is too much for the food. Overall, I recommend this place, but be prepared to spend a bit more money.

Celebrated my 50th birthday at Sheesh with friends. Food is incredible, service exceptional and the surroundings are just perfect and high end. Loved my birthday cake sparkler - nice touch. We were lucky enough to see the amazing Julian the magician who absolutely wowed us with his card tricks. We will definitely be back 🥰

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sheesh in Chigwell, and I have to say, it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was absolutely stunning. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, with a luxurious yet welcoming vibe that instantly sets the tone for a special night out. The food was nothing short of incredible. We ordered a variety of Turkish dishes, each one bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. The meats were tender and juicy, the mezes were fresh and flavorful, and every dish looked just as good as it tasted. It’s clear that Sheesh takes great pride in the quality and presentation of their food. What really made the evening stand out, though, were the extra touches. There was live music playing throughout the night, creating a lively and sophisticated atmosphere without being too overpowering. To top it off, we were entertained by incredibly talented magicians who performed close-up tricks at our table. It added such a fun and unique twist to the dining experience—it felt like more than just dinner, it was an event. The service was also exceptional. Staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel well taken care of from start to finish. I highly recommend Sheesh to anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience.

Food: delicious but expensive drinks, ran out of dessert after we had ordered 🥲 not the best experience Service: kind workers Atmosphere: outdoor seating which is very uncomfortable due to the amount of flys and wasps around. But a very nice area, would be better if they suggested indoor seating rather than outdoor

Came to Sheesh with my two sisters to celebrate my birthday and we had a great time! A big shoutout to our waiter Munir who was amazing – so attentive, friendly and really made the night feel special. He even happily snapped pictures and surprised me with a complimentary birthday dessert and sang happy birthday. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate.
