Ordered several items amongst our party. Food is good overall. Chicken kobideb is well spiced, the salmon was fried, not grilled. A bit too much dressing on the salad. Plenty of rice per each platter. The roasted eggplant was really good. Very soft and has a nice load of tomato sauce that balanced by the cream ones of yogurt and mint sauce. Clean interior. They were busy wiht dine in customers but had plenty of online orders they were working on. Staff are nice and quick to help taking your order... Or you can use the kiosk.

Google
The food looks as good as they advertise. But doesn’t always taste as good as it looks. The chicken was perfect but the lamb was overcooked but was seasoned well. The chicken tenders dish looks amazing on the ad but looks like a school meal when u get it. A bit more consistent and this place would be amazing. The vibes are outstanding tho

Google
Amazing Ramadan Buffet ! Only $23 per adult and a great amount of food! Their chicken kabobs are delicious and their chickpeas are better than any other kabob place I’ve ever tasted! The owner gave us some free French fries that I don’t think were included and was even nice enough to come over to our table to ask how we enjoyed the food. 10/10 a staple restaurant for us, especially during Ramadan! We’ll be back :)

Google
I think the food is made to order and boy is it good!! The chicken is so flavorful. Everything on this platter is soooo well seasoned, and the eggplant is out of this world!! For $7, I wish the eggplant side was a little bigger. Unfortunately, you can't order it as one of your sides, you have to buy it separately. The chick peas are tomato based and the spinach is sauteed and pairs well with the rice. The chicken is not as juicy as I would have hoped (I took my meal to go, maybe it wouldve been juicer if I dined in? )but its still extremely flavorful, especially when dipped in the white sauce. The green sauce is good too (smells vinegary) and its too spicy for my taste. You cant go wrong with this platter. They also have lamb chops now, as well as salmon. As much as I wanted to eat it all in one sitting, hahahaha, this meal is enough for two people. Im thinking the next time I will order the Eggplant platter, I'm obsessed with the flavor!

Google
Absolutely delicious! The chicken kebab was perfectly grilled—juicy on the inside with a nice char on the outside. The seasoning was spot-on, with just the right balance of spices to give it that authentic, savory flavor. Every bite was tender and flavorful, not dry at all. Paired with some warm pita, fresh salad, and a bit of garlic sauce or tzatziki, it was a complete, satisfying meal. Definitely something I’d come back for again!

Google
I can't say enough how much I loved the food here. The warm welcoming vibe from the manager was a nice touch to the great food. I loved the Manti, the burger and the kabob. Highly recommend this place if you haven't been. I will be back soon!

Google
Salmon was cooked very nicely, however nothing too exotic. Also a bit dark inside, which I personally like but may not be for everyone.

Google
For what you might consider a Quick Serve Restaurant, this place was surprisingly good. They serve Middle Eastern dishes, the portion was decent and the seasoning was really good. Food was hot and fresh when served. Prices are mid-range for this type of restaurants, but for the amount of food and quality of it, it's good value for money. We tried four different platters (Chicken Kubideh, Chicken Shawarma, Steak Kabob, Beef & Lamb Gyro) and the meat in each one of them was pretty good (and so were the chickpeas). I found this through the InKind Restaurant App and wanted to give it a try. Not disappointed at all and will definitely come back if I'm near one of their locations (P.S. Their spicy green sauce was spectacular, I'll buy a jar if they sell it)

Yelp
I recommend the Chicken Tenders Combo, Aleppo Hot Chicken Sandwich, and Chapli Kabob Burger. The service is prompt and efficient. The ambiance appears to be family friendly--I recommend bringing one's family here for a meal because the food is a good value for the money as well.

Kristi K.

Yelp
Overall, the food was good! I would recommend the gyro platter - the portions were good and the gyro was flavorful. I got the chicken shawarma, and it was just okay. The chickpeas that came on the side were so good! We also got the mantu, which was also pretty good. I don't think I'll get it again personally, but recommend if you like mantu (similar to dumplings). The only thing was the generator (?) inside was super loud, so I would say the ambiance is not great. I'd definitely get takeout next time.

Yelp
Came here for the first time in 2024 Fall while wandering in Mosaic and I am glad I stumbled upon this place. I did not know this place existed, so I was going to Falafel Inc nearby. Seems like other people on Yelp came here for an event and had positive reviews. While the service is slow, the food speaks for itself. Nothing here is too heavy and I feel like I am eating healthy food. Their soft serve is actually pretty good. The price is not too bad. The portion is big enough to share with another person if you are not too hungry. The inside is modern and they have lots of seating. It seems like they do a lot of takeouts and catering.

Claudia L.

Yelp
I'm a fan of this casual & friendly kabob place in Mosaic. Great selection of Middle Eastern favorites and everything always tastes freshly made! My go-to is the beef kubideh with chopped salad and chickpeas - so delicious and filling. Lately all meals are served in a takeout container, even if one orders for dine-in. I hope they reconsider that decision. Other than that, excellent place for a meal!

Nadia N.

Yelp
Been here a few times ever since it opened and it was pretty good. But after going back a couple times it started to get downhill from there. I ordered lamb chops and I can barely chew it, completely unsatisfying. The final straw for me was when I saw the worker use her bare heads to scoop frozen fries into the frying pan. Yuck! I won't ever be back and I'll tell people I know about this too

Salman F.

Yelp
This was my 3rdvisit to this place, nice clean and friendly staff. This time my food was not up to standard. I Ordered gyro platter and gyro was even cooked at all. Not a rocket science make sure it's brown before u cut it.

Marivic L.

Yelp
Huge fan of Sheesh. I've been coming to Mosaic to get my hair done for over a year and if it's during a time when I need to grab a meal, Sheesh is at the top of the list. My faves are clearly (I mean, look at my pics. Haha) the chicken kabob platter with the juicy flavorful chicken, spinach, chickpeas, and rice. Love the green/hot sauce but will also use the other sauce as well. The burger was such a surprise to me. I got it just 2 weeks ago (oh yeah, I get my hair done every other week) for the second time and it was as good as I remembered. Really SO many delicious spices that it's better than a "regular" burger. I get it with fries which are super crunchy, just how I like them. Pro-tip: You can pay with the inKind app and take advantage of the deals they give and it's so convenient. I will be coming back.

Penelope N.

Yelp
I got the loaded fries which were bomb, great flavors. The chutney was fantastic and they definitely loaded up on the sauce which is appreciated. It has a nice kick. The garlic sauce pairs well with the spice. I love pickled veggies so I'm glad those are included in the loaded fries. The chicken had decent portion size too. It's self service where you order at the register and then seat yourself. I want to get the eggplant dish next time.

Camryn K.

Yelp
I really enjoy the food here. I hadn't ordered here in a while, but the food I ordered for takeout was as good as I remembered. I typically order the salmon platter with half salad and half rice, along with a side of chopped salad and chickpeas. The salmon was on the dry side, but it is very flavorful and not super fishy, which I like. I notice that they often overcook the salmon, but I feel like the overall flavor of the salmon, along with the sides, makes up for it. I love the sauces that come with the dish, which are the white sauce and the cilantro chutney. The white sauce has good flavor, and the cilantro chutney has a nice kick to it. The rice is tasty, and the portion size is great. The sides are tasty as well, and the salad is very fresh. However, the food is on the pricier side. I love ordering from here, and I will definitely be back!

Dakota M.

Yelp
I really like how healthy sheesh is. I often pick it up for myself, friends recovering or friends at the hospital. Today I couldn't run out and ordered falls church/mosaic location through DoorDash. The food was not very good. Salmon was dry, the sautéed spinach needed olive oil and chick peas were bland. I had to try some because I was raving about it to my friend in the hospital whom I bought it for and was disappointed when they were right on the taste not being the same as chantilly location.

Devin D.

Yelp
The mantu looked pretty enticing from the picture and the description on the menu. It didn't disappoint! We've had it the past couple of nights, and probably will do it again before before long. Definitely worth a try!

Jon T.

Yelp
Sheesh Grill may be quick service but is it enough for me to get out of my seat and yell Sheesh? I wish but my experience was alright. Inside, you have lots of open tables to sit down. Ordering is pretty convenient, there's a touch screen you can order from or you can order from the counter. Knowing me, I came here to see if their kabobs were good. Let's put that to the test. What I like about this place is that you can create your own bowl, pick your own protein, base, and two sides of your choice. If you aren't adventurous, they have their signature plates which is what I opted for since I wanted beef that day. I got the beef Kubideh plate which consisted of ground beef kabobs grilled to perfection, rice, salad, and chickpeas. It took a minute for the food to come out but that's how you know it was made to order. When I got the food there was signs of steam right out of the box. Couldn't been happier. I went to sit down and I immediately noticed that the tables were sticky. I tried sitting down at another table but it was less sticky so I wonder if they even clean up their tables when people are done dining.. The Kubideh is great. Can't go wrong with seasoned beef over a nice pilaf of rice. The salad was also good and served as the healthy component of my meal and chickpeas? I honestly think they were not fresh but the sauce that it was cooked in was pretty good. A very tomato-y kind of sauce. I think my complaint is that you don't even get bread for the price you are paying for so it is a bummer. You do get at least the spicy green sauce and yogurt sauce which is a bit watered down. That plus the tables not being clean makes me question their cleaniness. At least the person up front asked me how the food was and I will give them that it was good. Hopefully when I come back it's not so much of a sticky situation!

Yelp
What can I say! This was my second trip to Sheesh Grill in Merrifield. I had an appointment in the area, and was ready for lunch, the first thought that came to mind was Sheesh Grill. So I made my way there and tried the Chicken Shawarma wrap lunch special. It was amazing! The chicken was moist and tender, not like other places that serve dried out chicken. You can tell it went through a marination process to get it this good! The portion size was great, as were the fries, nice and crispy! Their accompanying sauces were great, I particularly enjoyed the garlic sauce, I could drink that sauce, that's how good it is! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sheesh Grill, you can't go wrong with any of their food!! Their logo says it all Sheesh Grill: Not another Kabob Joint!! Amen!! I must apologize for lack of pics, I was hungry and in Heaven eating their food, it was too late for me to take a pic! there will definitely be a next time for me to take pics!

Yelp
3.5 Stars Quick service. Food had good flavor. Nice hardwood tables which gave the place a nice look if you opted to dine-in. I decided to get the chicken kabob that came with basmati rice, spinach and chickpeas in a tasty red sauce. Solid portions. The chicken was tender, well-seasoned with a nice char-grill on the outside. Basmati rice was fluffy. Chickpeas were cooked in a nice red sauce. I could tell they use canned chickpeas rather than fresh, but they were fine nevertheless. The spinach was tasty as well. I hope they use fresh spinqch and not frozen or canned. The meal came with a spicy-tangy green sauce on the side which had the right amount of kick. I asked for white sauce and those were .50 cents each (for 2 tbs portion). I was sort of surprised the meal did not come with the standard pita bread. I guess you have to ask for it and it so there could be a cost, I am not certain. I didn't see it on the menu but i could have overlooked it. I was also surprised they did not sprinkle that tangy Sumac seasoning on top of the meal as well. Usually kabob restaurants do that. - 1 stars for lack of pita/naan, sumac sprinkled on top and use of canned chickpeas. Pretty good kabob place to check out. I'll come back since it's convenient.

Mischa J.

Yelp
This is a very nice restaurant, but I do suggest adding better and more authentic drink items! I also suggest trying "Mantu" from the menu!

Nathan N.

Yelp
The Chipotle of Middle Eastern food. Food is expensive and mid at best. $18 for a chicken kabob platter with 2 sides. I can get more food for less at any family-owned Middle Eastern restaurant that is in a place not named Mosaic. As stated, I ordered the chicken kabob platter. For my sides I chose the salad and chickpeas. It also came with 2 sauces, which I presume were a yogurt sauce and a mint chutney. I did not really enjoy either of them. The salad needed more dressing but was fine. The chickpeas were a little hard and didn't have much flavor. They skimped on the rice. The chicken was alright, I didn't really like the seasoning they used but that is personal opinion. I will not be coming here again. Moby Dick's is a much, MUCH better chain Middle Eastern restaurant all around.

Yelp
I really want to give this place four stars but in good conscience, I cannot. Is it closer to four stars than three stars? Yes. Does it meet the standard, however, of four stars? No. That said, The food is flavorful and has just enough spice for the more casual and less refined tastes while still keeping satisfied those with more discerning palettes. Fast casual with Middle Eastern inspiration sounds like a win, especially if you are in the area and looking for an option that is not too serious. It is on the upper end of fast casual pricing margins but not overly so. It cost approximately $39 for a fish kebab platter and a hot chicken sandwich combo that included fries and a fountain drink. The portions were decent and I would say the sauces are quite lovely. Overall a solid choice if you cannot find somewhere else to go but not something that I would consider particularly noteworthy or warranting of a return visit; unless you live in the area.

Tiffany N.

Yelp
Had lunch there with friends, everyone's food was just meh. Otherwise, the price is okay, and the staff is fine for fast casual.

Jacelyn L.

Yelp
This spot is underrated. Absolutely fresh, tasty, delicious! My go-to for a solid feel good lunch

Hailey L.

Yelp
I happened to find this place after workout, and oh man! This place is AMAZING! I would 100% recommend this place! I tried Chicken&Shawarma chicken. Price is GREAT for the portion & quality. Personally I liked chicken more than Shawarma chicken. Seasoning is just about right, and their french fries were surprisingly crispy! It is also very casual setting so you order at the front and take your food to your table when it's ready. Inside seems like dark despite all the lights on, and food takes a little time, but with this price&quality I can definitely wait. There is a tree in the front that covers the restaurant sign, so it can be easily unnoticed, but boy! This is such a hidden gem and now going to be my go to place. Parking is also plenty since it is inside the Mosaic district.

Kristen L.

Yelp
could be the best kebob place but they skimp on the sauce distribution. let the customers have the appropriate amount of sauces, you cheapskates!

Charles V.

Yelp
I needed to upgrade my review. I come here often and the food is CONSISTENTLY fantastic! I have tried almost the entire menu. But my favorite is still the Chicken Kubideh. It is offered on a bed of basmati rice, with a small side salad, and chick peas. Every part of this meal tastes extremely fresh, very well seasoned, and is SOOOO tasty! Not sure you can find better elsewhere. I will continue to be a loyal customer.

Oscar Z.

Yelp
I tried their beef chapli kabob burger as well as the greek gyro- I believe there was some sort of lunch special for uber eats. Both were actually very good, the gyro sandwich I believe used some sort of lavash bread wrap so its slightly different from the usual pita bread or naan bread. The sauces on the gyro were slightly different than the white sauce other gyro places use but still good. The beef chapli kabob burger had some seasonings and spices in the beef that you normally dont find in most burger places but it still tasted very good-and the white garlic sauce they used on the burger was a perfect fit, better than the standard ketchup or mayo. The burger had a standard brioche sort of bun, and yellow cheddar cheese, but the seasonings on the beef patty and the garlic sauce really make it a unique burger, kind of like a Greek inspired cheeseburger, but also different from Greek burgers at some other restaurants which usually use a lamb patty with feta cheese and tzatziki sauce.

Rebecca F.

Yelp
I have gotten their wrap and fries. The wrap is average from what I have tried for halal kabob wraps. The fries were served hot but I feel like they definitely bought them frozen. My friend's fries were cold though. They also commented that their chicken sandwich just doesn't taste as good as a regular chicken sandwich that is not halal. So maybe not the best place if you really aren't restricted to the halal diet. You order yourself via a tablet and then they bring the food out for you to pick up. There are a few tables inside but pretty limited. Not really an issue as this is located within Mosaic. Closest free parking would either be street parking or the Target garage.

Hannah H.

Yelp
Unfortunately, I wasn't really a fan of this Sheesh location, as both the level of service and the maintaining of the place was pretty disappointing - the tables and chairs are not wiped down and are super dirty; the place itself is also small, so you really don't have many options to find other options. Service could be friendlier, as the vibe was just standoff-ish. I usually get Sheesh's Salmon Kabob, but had the Steak Kabob on a mini get-together - I chose the basmati rice, the chickpeas, and the roasted veggies. The steak, while flavorful, was a bit dried out, and the basmati rice could have been cooked a little longer (as there were some hard grains). The drinks, such as their strawberry mint lemonade, was super watered down, so purchasing this as a beverage is not recommended. Not sure what's going on with this location, but there definitely needs a stricter quality control. Parking can be found in the Mosaic area. +dried out Steak Kabobs +undercooked basmati rice +watered down beverages +not-so-pleasant service +plenty of parking at the Mosaic

Dav C.

Yelp
Omg yall, my friend had major food poisoning and had to go to the ER and get an IV drip. After some backtracking there is no other way it could be anything else but Sheesh Grill. What's worse is when calling the restaurant, they were rude and completely denied it. My friend is the type to keep things to herself and not say anything so I feel it only right that I state something and suggest that you inspect - even if it's for a couple seconds - the quality of the good before intakjng. Don't want this happening to anyone else. That is all!

Mandy B.

Yelp
probably the worst customer service I received. the food is okay but not worth the price tag. I won't be back.

Jennifer K.

Yelp
Placed another online order through the toast app on a weekday. Happy to report that everything was ready on time (two minutes early, actually). The mantu are DELICIOUS - definitely a must try item! Also ordered the beef and lamb gryo. It was seasoned perfectly. Portions were generous this time around. I'll be returning for sure!

Christina V.

Yelp
Gave this place a try after a workout at the gym. Got the chicken and steak kabob platters for me and my boyfriend! He really liked the chicken and said it was super juicy. The steak was amazing too! The two sauces they give you are a creamy sauce and a spicy sauce and both complimented the meal in great ways. They give you a great portion for what you pay for, especially the rice! The spinach side I got was a little salty for my taste. Overall, definitely coming back again to try something different.

Julia W.

Yelp
10/10 FANTASTIC!! The last time I had been to Sheesh was pre-covid, and the only difference now is that instead of using the beautiful enamel tin platters to serve food they are using to go containers. The food here is AMAZINGLY delicious! The kabob is so succulent and flavorful, the basmati rice is like crack, the side salads are delicious, and the fries are also like crack especially when dipped in the spicy "green sauce". I'm slightly ashamed to say but the rice here is so good that if I go here with others I'll offer to eat their rice if they can't finish it. Every time I bring people here it is silent while we eat because the food is so good people are too busy eating to talk. I love the industrial cozy chic aesthetic of the interior of the restaurant too. The live edge wooden benches give the space such a nice cozy feeling. This is one of the only hip interior afghan style kabob places that I know in the area, and I love it!

Jcub T.

Yelp
I got takeout from here because I didn't want to cook and wanted to eat something a bit healthier so I decided to try it out. I got a lot...the chicken platter, the burger, and this pink dip (sorry forgot what it's called). Everything in the platter was amazing, even the sides (chickpeas and spinach). The burger was even better! What I loved about the burger was that the meat was very lean, there was no trace of dripped oil coming from it and that's what I like. The dip was very light and refreshing. It was served with pita chips that tastes almost like wonton crisps. Mmmhhhhhhhhhhh!!! This will definitely be a new go to spot for me.

Raychelle S.

Yelp
I REALLY REALLY REALLY like this place. The service is very quick, the menu is simple and easy to pick from, and the portion sizes are HUGE. You will not be left hungry that's for sure. The only negative about this place is the soft serve machine was broken the last time I visited. Also- it is kind of pricy. I recommend the lunch special if you want a cheaper portion. It's hefty for a good price! I tried a couple of different things here. The shawarma lunch special and the beef combo plate with the garbanzo beans, salad, veggies, and fries. I haven't tried the spinach though. I will have to next time. The fries are SOO GOOD. Def recommend. The garbanzo beans too; so creamy and flavorful. Till next time! I hope I get to meet you soft serve machine ;).

H G.

Yelp
I've tried this place dine-in and takeout. I was pleased in both experiences. The portions are very good and everything had flavorful. I tried their gyro platter, loaded fries, fried chicken sandwitch, and chapali kabob burger. I highly recommend this place for a quick bite, or work lunch.

Jen L.

Yelp
If you're craving tender, well-seasoned chunks of meat and fresh sides, come to Sheesh Grill! The salad is extra fresh, the rice is incredible, and you can't go wrong with any of the combinations. We ordered the - Steak Kebob Platter (5/5): Flavorful, perfectly medium rare chunks of steak. Paired with the freshly grilled vegetables and the creamy chickpeas, the quality is honestly comparable to the best Middle Eastern kebob restaurants in the DMV - Chicken Kebob Platter (4.5/5): Big, well seasoned chunks of chicken over the most delicious bed of rice. I rarely like rice, but the one here is lightly seasoned and mixed with a yellow rice and tastes oh so good mixed with the chicken. Both were winners! Definitely a little bit on the pricier side, especially since it seems like it's fast casual, but the standards are definitely restaurant quality. Without a doubt, will return to try the lamb and salmon.

Samantha L.

Yelp
Sheesh Grill is a fast-casual Middle Eastern restaurant. My boyfriend enjoyed the #7. Beef Kubideh Platter, which consisted of seasoned ground beef served over a bed of saffron basmati rice served with dressed garden salad and chickpeas. He enjoyed it with the spicy green sauce. I had the #1. Chicken Kabob Platter, which consisted of chicken breast marinated with turmeric and saffron, served over a bed of saffron basmati rice with chickpeas and sautéed spinach. The sautéed spinach was more like Indian-style creamed spinach. The chicken was tender but a little too seasoned to my liking. Neither of us liked the mayo-based creamy garlic sauce!

Sanchita G.

Yelp
This place was okay! I was getting take out from this place and it took longer than expected. Their chicken was super good. It was very juicy. The rice on the other hand was pretty good and soft. I was not a huge fan of the chickpeas I received. However, the place was super clean and seemed well maintained.

Aarti B.

Yelp
Nice fried falafels with zesty garlic tahini sauce. The round falafel balls are the size of a munchkin and they were stone cold from the Doordash delivery. The tangy tahini sauce is a mustard bright yellow, interesting! Typically, tahini is beige from the sesame seeds. Appreciate the biodegradable take-out containers. I prefer the dome shaped falafels from Al Nakheel Lebanese Cafe in Vienna that are larger and more flavorful.

Michael N.

Yelp
Located at one of the East side entrances to the Mosaic district, parking garages can be found conveniently nearby. The interior was clean, nothing too fancy, but their focal point seems to be the food. We ordered lamb shawarma w/ chickpeas & fries. Also the chicken shawarma w/chickpeas & spinach. Portion sizes held their value. Chicken shawarma had a very mundane taste. The spinach was also flavorless, but held good texture. Fries were surprisingly delicious also. Lamb shawarma was 5*, flavorful and the chickpeas were also good. The rice was fresh. I can't speak on wait times as I ordered in advance, but this place seemed fairly busy. Maybe there's other items here that were better.

Peps A.

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch. A place like this usually only serves kabobs but they have other options. They have, wraps, burgers, fries, and kabobs. The food was good and the service was great. The place was well kept and very clean. I would give it 3.5 stars.

Melanie K.

Yelp
Reliable place for kebabs and Middle Eastern food. Always fresh, tasty, and plentiful. I love the grilled chicken, the grilled Roma tomatoes, and the grilled veggies that has a nice mix of ingredients. A great local place with several locations s.

Hannah H.

Yelp
Long gone are the days of $10 or less lunches. But Sheesh came in close with a less than $11 option. I ordered the lunch special which is a sandwich wrap with fries and drink. The portion was very filling and tasty. I suggest you order ahead online to skip the lunch rush and so you're not waiting too long for the food prep. The wait for the food does take a bit but that's because everything is freshly made to order.

Diana N.

Yelp
Wow the hype is very real. I thought how can this place be any different from all the other kabobs and chicken & rice joints? Are the reviews exaggerating? Well I was in for a rude awakening as I bit into my chicken kabob and it was incredibly JUICY! Oh my goodness, not only was there flavor on the chicken and the rice, the juiciness factor made me close my eyes in ecstasy. After that I was sold on this place. There was no need to go to another place because this was it. Their food will make you scream, "SHEESH this was good!!!!"

Food Z.

Yelp
Found this spot after eating one of their group platters at a friend's. They stole my heart with their green and white sauce. THE best in my experience with middle eastern style kabobs. Their chickpeas & gyro are masterfully flavorful and their Kubideh? changed my mind about this meat dish. I've always disliked Kubideh but now I'm gonna be ordering it. I also tried their more modern interpretations , specially the aleppo fried chicken sandwich. I was a disappointed in their meat selection. The flavor was good! but the actual meat felt like I was biting into literal tendon sometimes? It was also from what I could tell two slabs of flat fried chicken stacked, quite opposite of Popeyes chicken sandwich where your always guaranteed a thick, juicy piece of meat in the sandwich. Regardless the idea is there, but a 2.0 is in order.

Marina N.

Yelp
First timers who wanted to try Afghan food and we fell in love! Between two very hungry people, we ordered a combo dish and the sheesh loaded fries, and it filled us both up! Highly recommend the beef kubideh with their basmati rice, chick peas, and sauteed spinach. The beef kubideh was very moist and flavorful. All of the sides paired deliciously with one another. The sheesh loaded fries are my all-time favorite, get it with chicken shawarma! You won't be disappointed, I promise!! Don't forget about the sauces on the side! Everything was VERY fresh, well-seasoned, and they had great portions for the price. We will definitely be returning!

Shiho T.

Yelp
Very dissatisfying experience, especially after getting used to the Chantilly store. First off, the moment I stepped in, the premises was not adequately lit. Perhaps maintenance issue? Then there's nobody at front. Luckily there are self- service screens but it appeared the front guy was out shopping at Target... After ordering through self-help screen, my order did not arrive after the customer who came after me. Since there's no one at front, I had to communicate with kitchen staff, who could not really explain but started to prepare the forgotten order...which was missing soft serve. After pointing out, he said something that I need to wait 5 minutes. Sounded like the soft serve machine needed to be cleaned but they cannot serve until somebody tends to it...at this point I am getting very very disappointed and knew that the store manager is missing. I think it's a waste of time to tell this but shop owner/manager should be abandoning his duties..,

Yelp
Stopped by for a carryout. We've been here once before and wanted to see how it tasted at home. A fairly straight forward menu, but still plenty of choices. We went for the Falafel Appetizer and the Chicken and Beef Kubideh entrees. Each entree features a base (salad, rice or wrap) and two sides. Side options include: side salad, steamed spinach, grilled veggies, fries, chickpeas and a tomato salad. We opted for the beef and chicken Kubideh. chickpeas, fries, grilled veggies, and spinach, with a side of Falafel. Besides the fries, which were a bit bland, everything was tasty. The meats are well seasoned and unique. The spinach, grilled veg and falafel were great complements. I preferred the green spicy sauce, but much was on point when saying the white sauce paired well with the meats (though it's white sauce, its supposed to be a flavor punch).

Yelp
Wish Sheesh Grill was where I live (SoFL). Excellent casual Mediterranean food. Thank you Yelp NOVA community for doing a yelp check in to check out elite perk. This was a neat way of trying one item. I ended up getting the chicken kabob with rice to try out with two sides. I bought the beef kubideh with rice for my parents. I took both platters to go since my parents were waiting for me at home. Sheesh Grill did an awesome job packing both platters with sauces, forks, napkins etc. My parents and I ended up sharing everything. It was more than enough food for us. I got 4 different sides that consisted of spinach, chickpeas, fries and sautéed veggies. My favs were the spinach and fries. They loved the food also and will go check it out. The portion size is great and the freshness of the food was wonderful. The white sauce was my fav and it did me in liking this place. I plan to grab a quick bite from here again when in the area. ~

Yelp
I underestimated that place before I tried it and compared to other kabob places and the fact I've found, I was completely wrong! By far this is the best Beef & Chicken Kubidah I've ever tasted anywhere in the U.S not just the DMV area! Also in a modern stylish clean place!! Very good customer service and professional! This is like a dream! I totally appreciate the flexibility in ordering the meal with multiple options and the price is amazing!!! The rice was very good, the chopped salad is amazing with dill ! Oh I love dill!! Also the side chutney was good! I really wish to see that chain everywhere I go! I'm going to eat there again and you guys who didn't eat there yet, what are you waiting for?? Lol As I always say , try it and pray for me! ;) lol
