A great stop on your way to or from DTW. Clean restrooms and just about everything you could want in a convenience store. Take the Vining Road exit from I-94 and go north approximately 0.5 mile. Fill your rental vehicle with unleaded 88 before returning at the airport and save $0.20 or more versus other area stations!

The chicken nuggets are amazing. The burger was a little dry but still very good. I got the cheesecake chocolate milkshake that was fabulous. Second time here and the service this time was much better then my first time. Will be going back when I have a late night craving.

This place is clean. I will grant them that. However, I stopped there because I had heard a lot about them and I needed to wait for someone flying into DTW Airport. I figured I would go there, have a light snack while waiting. I got 2 sliders and a small fries. That was over $10, which isn't great, but not terrible. However, I can honestly say these were hands down the absolutely worst slider burgers I have ever had. I was hungry, so I gagged one down, ate the so-so fries and threw out tge second burger. Just couldn't eat it. I politely asked the gal at the food counter how it was cooked and she told me it came in pre-cooked and they microwaved them. I can't describe how absolutely gross these meat patties looked, felt and tasted. Truly shocked at how this prosperous company could so poorly deliver a burger. Again, THE WORST BURGER I HAVE EVER, EVER HAD. Good luck!

Not sure why they lower stars because this place is very nice. Puts most gas stations in Michigan to shame. They make the best bagel breakfast sandwiches that you can get at a gas station. They have in store ordering, online ordering through the app, and they have delivery and a drive-thru. They have a pretty cool drink ordering area. You can get coffee or specialty shakes. They have a nice seating area to sit and eat your food. Very pleasant atmosphere. The place is clean and always seems to be busy. Situated close to the airport. I have become a frequent "flyer" at Sheetz!

After attending a meet and greet in Dexter, Michigan, I decided to take my fiancee Renay to the Sheetz for a bite to eat. This is a new establishment and a very nice one, clean with professional and pleasant employees. We ordered chicken tenders and curly. They were crispy, hot and delicious. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They serve alcohol and have a beer cave. It would be nice if the music over the speakers was by request but you can't win them all. But overall it was a pleasant experience and I will visit Sheetz again. It's a gas station as well.

Today was 2 days after opening and it’s pretty good. We never tried sheets before so we ordered The pizza, the mozz burger, create your own burger, chicken strips , tacos and fries. I was most excited for the burger but both patties are not good. They Taste weird and are a grey color. The milk shake tasted like mostly milk . But the pizza fries tacos and chicken tenders were all great. They were super friendly staff and made all the food within 10 minutes .

No where to park - Employees taking up most of the spots I counted 23 Employees all standing around joking/ slacking I had to park a lot over - Shouldn't the employees be parking in another lot Ridiculous Food and Coffee were great tho 😋

Holy Sheetz! I haven't been since I used to live in Philly. Sheetz and Wawa were the two places that I'd frequently shop. I'm glad to see a store has made its way to Michigan.

this was our first visit to a Sheetz and it was awesome!!! First and foremost, the cashier AVEON was spectacular!!!! He was extremely welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable about store and products, and truly made this visit Fun!!! You are extremely lucky to have dedicated, enthusiastic and positive employee like AVEON!!! The store was clean(bathroom too), well organized and had so many great selections of products!!!! I will definitely be a return customer and would truly appreciate you sharing our gratitude and appreciation to AVEON for being one of the highlights of our day and for doing such a great job!!!

This place is located off the Vining Rd exit North of I-94. Great option to refill gas at airport before rental return. I did not eat the food but they do seem to have a good selection. It apparently has a reputation if you read the other reviews so I will need to try next time. Then if you go South on Vining Rd to N Service Rd, it takes you back to the rental car return in about 1 mile.

I can only speak to the food. After all the hype, i was curious to see if it lived up to it. The location was nice and clean, and the employees were helpful. Honstly, if you have never been to sheetz, and this was my first time, it can be a tad confusing. You order your food at a set of kiosks, then go to another set of registets and/or kiosks to pay. Then, a third location to get your food. And none of these are in a simple line and seen a bit scattered. Unless you order a specialty drink (shake, tea) or are offered a fountain drink with a combo, you can not add one to your order. You place your food order, get the ticket you pay with, and then get your drink, and they will add it to your bill at the register. It's really awkward. That said, the food seemed pretty good. I got the app combo with Mac & Cheese bites (not bad at all), mozzarella sticks (not bad at all), and boneless bitrs (chicken - very good). For gas station fast food, and dont fall for the hype. That's all this is. It's a fancy fast food counter. But at least it's pretty good fast food. Would i drive from Royal Oak to Romulus for it? No. But would I stop on my way to, or headed home from, Detroit Metro Airport? Yes, I would. Gas prices seemed good as well. In the end? It was good but nothingvall THAT special.

We are Wawa fans. We have been hearing about and waiting for a Sheetz for years! Finally got one in Michigan and was able to try it. I loved it! Yes, we road tripped out to the airport to try a gas station. That is who we are! We tried so many items. I got the chicken bacon ranch flatbread pizza. It was not the best, but hey, we are at a gas station with fun food. I also tried the cheese sticks with ranch seasoning and a side of ranch. They were so hot and crispy with a nice cheese pull. We had a pumpkin spice latte. We also ordered chicken sliders. We had chicken quesadillas, they were really good and chicken snack wraps. We also got a meatball sub add lettuce, tomato, mayo, and pepperoni on a pretzel bun, it was so good and so huge, better than subway. We also tried the caramel apple shake which was surprisingly good. We got a cup of mini peanut butter no bakes, really wonderful for not being homemade. We got a cup of rice crispy treats, and some sort of chocolate peanut butter whoopie pie. I also got a bag of Utz chips, for some reason even before we went, I was seeing them on social media. I am sure they taste like normal chips, but I wanted to try them. We got a couple bags of ground coffee to go. That was also smooth and tasty. This is such a fun place. I did read all of the reviews. It is just a gas station and this is just fast food from a gas station. So, do not expect anything else. On the other hand, I love the kiosk ordering system and kiosk payment system. It really streamlines the process. The people here were friendly, and I am not sure if this is always true, but gas was cheap, same price at Costco and at an airport yet. We already want to come back for more. I had a great time hanging out at a gas station with the family.

Great place. Clean restrooms/property. They do a great job with cleanliness. There is a Jeep Willy's ALWAYS parked as CLOSE to the entry door as possible. I'm guessing it belongs to the G.M.. Not cool.

I finally had a chance to visit the brand new Sheetz establishment after all of these years of built up excitement. I've been to various locations in Columbus and Cleveland but this place was popping with plenty of customers. Staff here was friendly. The kitchen was really big I waited for a long time for my order to come by. They had great little sandwiches, GPS will most likely redirect you to the wrong place but it's so much easier going through exit 197 Vining Road and you're there. Great specials for there rewards!

My coffee was delicious and I watched them make my breakfast burritos fresh (homemade from scratch). The prices were great and I have plans to stop there again soon. The only con would be no semi truck parking and a 10 minute limit to sit in the semi truck and eat.

I was super excited to see if Sheetz lived up to the hype, but unfortunately, one of the employees making food helped another customer place an order on the community touch screen while wearing gloves and didn't change them before going back to make sandwiches. I did make Sheetz aware of the situation and hopefully they will reiterate the proper food handling procedures.

I feel catfished by the poor ratings! i don't understand them personally. Cheap gas, foods good, the staff is incredibly lovely and caring. depending on the time, you'll see them walking around helping people and the cooks are usually dancing! Overall it's a great environment and the workers deserve a raise with how caring and efficient they are!! the influx of rushes depend so yeah it might take a minute to get your food but till then walk around and look at the huge amount of options for snacks. i recommend giving this place a chance :) (the curly fries are so good)

When you sign up to be a rewards member you get 30 cents off of gas for a month. Coffee is delicious, the kids enjoyed the ice cream machine. I liked the 6 tacos for $6, you can only get meat, cheese, lettuce, and sour cream. For a buck a piece they weren't bad at all. The breakfast sandwich was really good too. It's a fun place to check out!

First i have to admit i am old and in poor health - been here 3 times , liked the mto hamburger , tried the mto chicken . Last time i tried the mto salad and the burger combination and i got the sheetz . Butt like i said I'm old , so i Can't be sure about the cause , Also it's important what time I'm there - there's a story in thenewsherald.com 12/22/2024 - some people don't like this chain . mto / made to order

Don't do milkshakes!! It's like drinking milk, there is no thickness to them! Went back and ask to have remade and it was worse!

If you are a truck driver, this place is absolutely terrible. Fuel islands are so far away from the cashiers. It's pathetic... After you get fuel, there's nowhere to park your truck to go in and get a bite to eat... Which is a whole Nother story... kiosk after kiosk... Very little personal service to get your food and at times confusing... this was the first and last time I will ever go there... So much better off at a Pilot, Loves or TA... after all the hype... this place is a joke... it might be a great place for automobiles, but it is definitely not truck friendly

I cried the first time I realized there was no Sheetz in Michigan. So it is safe to say I have been anticipating this location's opening. The place is well kept like every other Sheetz I've been to and the made-to-order food never disappoints. The service is great and the staff are all very helpful when figuring out what to do. Highly recommend coming here for a late night snack or a quick stop on a road trip.

I Love Sheetz! Have been to many in different cities and they have ALL been stocked, clean and have friendly staff!

Went to sheetz in Romulus and the cashier was coughing up a storm and did not cover his mouth luckily they have kiosks so I can serve myself

Was told it be over an hour wait for food after we ordered, which is ridiculous for convenience store food. Left and ended up going to 7-11 and they prepared us a fresh pizza, and boneless wings in 12 minutes. I visit Sheetz every single time when I work in Pennsylvania so this is not a great representation of this company.

I ordered the 6 tacos and they were absolutely horrible I asked for no sour cream and it was slathered with it, and also it had not even a spoon full of meat on it and the shells tasted very old I'm so disappointed.!!!!
