Superior Wonton Noodle Review - Bensonhurst - New York - The Infatuation

"Sandwiched between a Game Stop and a CVS, Superior Wonton Noodle is a narrow, casual restaurant that specializes in Hong Kong-style zha-jiang, a sauce made of soybean paste and diced meat that’s a cousin to Korean jjangmyeon. Grab a table and create your own dishes by combining noodle styles (rice, egg, vermicelli) with a variety of toppings, with or without soup—or just go with one of the recommended combos. We like zha-jiang on egg noodles with vegetables and brisket. The iced coffee is jet-fuel strong, and just sweet enough to take the edge off." - Carina Finn

Ridiculously good !!! like seriously, so damn good. The place was packed when we arrived, but the wait wasn’t too bad. They’ve got a multilingual menu, and even though the tables are a bit tight, it’s totally worth it. Huge bowls, insanely tasty noodles, and the broth is just perfect — fragrant, sweet-salty, super comforting. The beef was amazingly tender, like it’s been marinated forever… packed with flavor in every bite. The wonton skin was spot-on, with juicy, flavorful filling. Even the kai-lan (Chinese broccoli) was fresh and snappy. The only thing that wasn’t really my thing was the fishballs — just not my style, but that’s the only thing I didn’t vibe with. If you order the dry version, they give you a side soup too, which is just as good. Seriously, so worth the price. I already want to go back. 🤩🍜🤤

It was so so good. I think the best wonton noodles in HK for me! Soup was flavorful and the wonton was so big. Noodles slightly chewy. The beef was a bit salty for me but overall so so yummy. Not plain at all but i added chili oil for extra kick and it didnt disappoint so be ware by trying a bit first and see if you can handle lol. Easy to find and we went late so there’s no wait. Staff very friendly! but warning the portion was quite big

An old and well-known wonton noodle shop. Arrived around 1 PM, no queue. The person taking orders spoke a little Thai but understood well, very good at recommending dishes. Ordered wonton noodles and vegetables — the food came out incredibly fast. The noodles were chewy with a nice bite, and the wontons were large and packed with fresh prawns. The broth was natural-tasting, not heavily seasoned, which I personally liked as I prefer lighter flavours. For those who like stronger seasoning, there’s a chilli oil sauce provided — be careful though, it’s very spicy! I also noticed jars of their chilli for sale at the front, so it must be something they’re famous for. Overall, very impressed!

The food here was great. We had Noodles with Wonton and Noodles with Pork Dumpling, both were great. The noodles were nice and thin and springy. The broth was refreshing and the wonton and pork were pretty good. It's a small spot and we went closer to closing time so we were able to get a seat. They only accept cash so make sure to have some when arriving here. Dishes cost around 50-80HKD. Highly recommend and will come back here again 👌

Found this place in with 5 star review and was hesitating about that. Once there got a table for six, food was ready quick and it was very good. Watch out hot sauce is on the spicy side. The service was good, is a fast pace place. While eating here people came and go( tables busy and available quick) Price was fair. Kids got a lollipop from the boss (lady cooking). We walk out happy from here!! Oh! almost forgot, cash only.

It was super delicious, everything was on point. The service wasn’t great, very much in the old Hong Kong style, but the food is what really matters. I’d go so far as to say this is the best meal I’ve had in Hong Kong. The wonton and beef were incredibly tasty and tender, the soup was rich in flavor, and the chili was just perfect!

Google
personally not a big fan of noodles, but loved the wonton, obviously superior to the average wanton. great with the chilli sauce (only a little bit!) mixed with soya sauce. look at the pics, enough said

The springy noodles is perfect, the tasty soup, and the dumplings are packed definitely no extenders, and the beef is tender. The male staff is very nice, he even suggested what to order. I got here after lunch hours and it was already full, what more during busy hours. Plan your visit to avoid the crowd.
