If you’re in Vegas and you love cars this is an absolute must. It was such a thoughtful Father’s Day gift. My wife got the VIP tickets that come with a voucher for a free shirt or hat. The tour was extremely professional and educational. The cars don’t just speak for themselves but our guides knowledge of their history sure bring everything to life. You can’t take a bad picture in this place. I will absolutely return again to try and absorb some of the details that I missed.

We visited the Shelby Heritage Center located at 6405 Ensworth Street in Las Vegas, Nevada during a 2018 trip. This place is a large showroom where many amazing Ford vehicles that have received the Shelby treatment are on display. The tour was free and self-guided. There is a gift shop that sells lots of cool things, including shirts and toys. I highly recommend this place for anyone who appreciates American Muscle Cars and their history.

Google
Our VIP tour guide was great! She had so much knowledge and gave us so many interesting facts. The VP and designer for Shelby came out and talked to us directly. He gave us some souvenirs as well as took pics with us! Great experience and well worth the money!

Google
Visited Las Vegas and this was a must see for me. I got the tour and it was totally worth it. They have beautiful and historic cars on site, all of which are very well kept. The tour guide provided a ton of info about Carroll Shelby as well as the cars on site, and answered all the questions asked by the group. Thank you! I'll visit again next time I'm in Vegas.

Google
We were a group of 8 Shelby enthusiasts and the Heritage Center was a must see. After some shopping (no cars, only a few T's, lol) we had a close look at the vintage Shelbys. They are pristine and masterpieces.

Google
Best place to get up and personal with a Shelby (or two!). Entrance is Free! The optional VIP tour will take you in to the workshop, and you can sign your name on the wall, and a gift pack to keep. Or you can browse the collection at your own pace, and soak in the history. Grab some 'Shelby' merchandise to commemorate the occasion. Or even a Shelby. The silver one is good to go for $185k The staff are super friendly and helpful, and even the president stopped to talk to us. This place is great!!!

Google
A must visit museum. Has a lot of heritage, history and amazing cars. Also, it’s free entry!

Google
As a Shelby fan, this was a great experience. We opted for the guided tour and it was a pleasant experience learning more about the history of Carroll Shelby along with the background on the cars in the display room. It was also cool to get a peak inside the factory floor and we were fortunate to hear them start up a few engines in front of us which was great to hear! Definitely a fun experience.

Yelp
Not a car fanatic, but watched "Ford vs Ferrari" and ended up immensely enjoying the film. When the chance came to see these beautiful cars up close and personal, we had to do it. Shelby American has a Vegas location near the Strip which includes a manufacturing facility, retail store and free heritage museum. We opted to walk around ourselves instead of taking the paid tour. Lots of historical info and photos on the walls about the real Caroll Shelby and how he grew his company. Then there were the iconic cars, a wide variety from Cobras to Supersnakes. Also saw one used in the filming of the movie. We were done in about an hour. A fun experience. Definitely worth a stop.

Yelp
When I saw this was in town I had to stop by, and it's close to the airport (actually very handy from the car rental center) so it was my first stop in Vegas. Big parking lot, friendly staff, free (but you will be tempted by the gift shop.) You can see into the factory/mod center, very cool. The museum has some amazing cars. Sadly, not a lot of info on any of them. IDs, but no real plaques with history, etc. Still, fun to walk around and gawk. You can pay for a guided tour and I bet they explain a lot more, but I didn't want to spend the time or money. Highly worth a stop if you are at all interested in cars. Or just like looking at cool stuff.

Yelp
If you are a fan of racing or classic cars, a stop at Shelby is worth your time. I loved walking through and seeing the cars that were on display and waltzing through the shop. I didn't know you could do a tour, I'll save that for next time. Was worth an hour just to see the cars.
google avatar

Walter C.

Yelp
Didn't even know this place existed!!! Neat little display of the various vehicles. I get that you can't get in the cars or touch them. That part is a shame. Huge gift shop that I some how spent too much money.

Yelp
Great tour. Can see cars being built and nice museum of cars highly recommend. Free

Yelp
Shelby Heritage Center is located on Sunset and Ensworth, across from Town Square Las Vegas. They're open seven days a week. Inside the showroom is an amazing lineup of models ranging from the original to newer designs. These cars are either personally owned or company owned, they even have a few displays from customers who own a car collection. The Sebring is super cool! It's a nice 302 car with 5-speed, can be driven on the street, and looks like a track car. Shelby Series 1 is a fully manufactured car. It resembles a corvette and has full aluminum chassis, 4-wheel independent suspension, 4.0 Oldsmobile engine, ZF transaxle, made of carbon fiber, and has a convertible top. The reasoning behind Carroll Shelby's design was to build a track car that can also be driven on the street. They do incorporate some designs from the older models into the newer style such as the Mach-E, which is an electric car and has a mustang look. Other models in the showroom include Shelby GT500 KR, it's aerodynamic, street legal, has over 900 horsepower, and performs like a race car, that's a beauty! The very last car tested by Shelby was the 1000 car which has 1000 horsepower. It's exciting and really neat seeing some of the early models that came out, and the newer designs have remarkable craftmanship. They even have an onsite factory making the experience interactive and totally fun!

Yelp
Great place to go for car lovers, you get to learn the history about the car as well as Shelly himself.

Yelp
My daughter and I are HUGH car fanatics. Every opportunity we get to see a car show or car museum you can bet your lucky star that we will be there! When I found out that we have a FREE Shelby Heritage Center (yes, I said FREE) here in Vegas, I jumped at the opportunity to go check it out. The location was easy to locate and there is plenty of parking available. Inside they have over 30 glorious Shelby's that are in mint condition. The collection includes Vintage, Racing, and current models. They also have a Shelby Store where you can buy anything from Shelby clothing to Diecast models. Definitely the place to buy Shelby gifts for your Shelby lovers. As you walk through the center, you can learn a lot about Carroll Shelby and the company he started in 1962. I was told that they are constantly moving and mixing up the vehicles on display here, so what you see today, might be something different tomorrow... This only gives me more reasons to come back again soon. Overall, if you're a Shelby Lover, Car Lover, or just looking for something FREE in Vegas to see. You should definitely check this one out, it's definitely worth the time. Highly Recommended!

Yelp
I absolutely loved the tour and our guide was fantastic! She invited us back the next time we visit Vegas.

Yelp
we decided to check out the self guide tour that is free of charge. They do have a VIP tour that you can book on line but unfortunately it is not given on Sundays. The self guided tour has an amazing collection of vehicles and of course a historic timeline which was interesting. Also, their is an amazing gift shop with a hugh selection of clothing, clocks, cups, etc. Definitely, a great thing to see if you find yourself in the area with an hour or so to stop in.
google avatar

Just M.

Yelp
Just walk around and don't take the tour unless you want nonsense information.. Buy a book! Tour guide didn't know much other than what she's been told to say. Lots of great cars you can see for free. But many "new" cobras that don't really have much history and weren't built in the era they are presented. Then you go to the shop where they build new ones. Pretty boring for $59 In the photo is a R model, I had questions about it, the "nice grandma" told me it wasn't a R model. I didn't argue but it was disappointing to learn that inside a building full of books about these cars she hasn't read any. We live in a era of misinformation and there was plenty told to visitors. Most obvious is the new aluminum Daytona Coupe, it's not a real one, tell her to stop saying it's a real one.. She kept say one of 5 originals... there were 6 Daytona coupes.. 6!!! Wasted hour of my life.

Yelp
Shelby Heritage Center closed for inventory through January 1, 2025. Will reopen on January 2, 2025.

Yelp
This place was fun. I'm in Vegas with some friends who have a car this week and they took us here. I'm not a huge car person but it was still fun to see all of the Shelby cars. If you've seen the movie Ford vs. Ferrari, Matt Damon played Carroll Shelby. My fiance works for Ford and one of his friends used to, too, and they said Ford has a partnership with Shelby and they make Shelby cars out of repurposed Ford mustangs, which is pretty cool. It's free to browse the cars and they do have a tour which I believe has a cost. There's also a gift shop and there are bathrooms as well.
google avatar

Alyssa T.

Yelp
Such a cool little spot. It was included on our tour. I was happy to learn this place existed. It was joked it was "like a car guy's Disneyland". They had several rare Shelby and GT500 models on display. They had a window into the shop to see other cars in various cars being built and repaired. They had a shop for all your Shelby swag. We will be back with our adult kids.
google avatar

Billy L.

Yelp
I always wanted to visit this place, and I finally did. The admission is free. This place exhibits the history and adventure of Carroll Shelby. It boasts some car history, i.e., the venture of Shelby with Ford. There are some pretty impressive antique cars that are well kept. They also showcase current cars and trucks. It took us less than one hour to tour the place. The admission is free and I can't over stress this. This is a good place to tour friends who are visiting you. You enter and exit via the gift shop.

Kirk S.

Yelp
Very neat display of automotive history. Free to visit or buy the factory tour and get some nice souvenirs.
google avatar

Nichole R.

Yelp
If you're into cars this is the place! We came here on a tour and they went over the cars with us in the show room. I work in a collision center and being able to see through the window of their shop was great! It's one of cleanest shops I've seen. Staff is super friendly.
google avatar

Jake J.

Yelp
There is a Shelby museum in Vegas! If you're into the best American made muscle ever, go ahead and do yourself a favor. You'll spend a solid hour. It's free. There's great history. It's Carol Shelby. The self walk around the garage was awesome seeing the cobras and mustangs. The db8 was so cool. There's a tour if you're looking for a deeper look. I saw the tour walking through the garage. I can't comment if it's worth it. Huge gift shop I'd you're looking for something that isn't a typical Vegas souvenir.
google avatar

Heather C.

Yelp
My dad had a scooter race here with another old timer and daddy smoked him! We bought several t shirts after the tour and we got extra cobra stickers for the scooter winner. The custom mustangs are bumped up several notches with crime and racing ratchets. The vintage car museum is fun but the swag store is funner. They have a huge showroom and the shop is massive. Take the tour and go vroom vroom!

Sally M.

Yelp
Small but interesting museum and gift shop. Must see if you love cars. Bring your credit card. There is no way you're leaving the store without gifts. Recommend guided tour.

Yelp
FERRARI'S @$$ IS MINE!! Just before we got to Vegas, we noticed a building that said Shelby American. I didn't even know it was still around. Is that related to Shelby cars? I yelped and found out, YUP! It's a museum and modification center. We decided we'd have to go sometime. We found a couple hours during our trip to drop by. As we walked in, it was a HUGE store!! On the other side, was the museum portion with all the cars and lots of history!! It was super cool! We decided to take the VIP tour that they offer on the hour. It is 45 mins for $49 and includes some VIP merch (NICE pint glass, cap, pin & cinch bag). We got a full tour and history lesson of Shelby and he was such an innovator! He totally changed the car mechanics and auto industry. Then we got to head into the modification center. This is where the magic happens. For only $15k-20k, you can change your Ford Raptor into a Velosiraptor. Or your Mustang to a Shelby (I didn't get the rate). On the day we went, the shop was closed and the workers weren't working. But it was explained what each bay did. Super cool! They had a few completed vehicles to view and the mods were explained. Oh, yeah, I got picked to say Shelby's famous line... And got a mug with the quote :D Definitely recommended!!

Yelp
This attraction came highly recommended by all my Friends in the local Mustang club. And it did not disappoint. Great collection of cars, and the walls display a timeline of the life and accomplishments of the great Carroll Shelby. And it is free to the public. When you walk in you are greeted with a warm welcome from the receptionist. She explains the museum in record time. Listen closely. There is also a very large gift shop with everything you could possibly want to add to your mustang, cobra, or GT collection. And in the back you can see different Shelby vehicles being tuned to perfection by the team. It is a huge shop with 12 lifts to do any work necessary. If I owned one of these vehicles I would certainly want it tuned by this team.

Yelp
Awesome display of cars snd information on an iconic man and his machines! From the Original 1959 Lemans winning Aston Martin he drove to new trucks still being sold....an amazing display of historic cars.
google avatar

Felix S.

Yelp
If you are a car enthusiast this is a must go while here is Vegas. Renee was a great tour guide and gave a lot of pieces of information about the company and Carroll Shelby. I feel a lot of experiences in Vegas seem to be lacking when you pay the money, but you get to see a lot of historic cars and the gift bag is well worth the price of the tour. This is a must stop and I can't believe I just went on my most recent trip and missed it for so many years. Please put this on your itenerary!!!
google avatar

Micki M.

Yelp
This museum has so much history and it's FREE! I recently watched Ford v Ferrari and being here in the museum with all the photos and cars makes you feeI like you were there! If you have a chance to come to Vegas, stop by for a little bit of Ford history! It's well worth your time!

Yelp
I have been "meaning to" get to the Shelby Heritage Center for YEARS and YEARS and somehow we just never made it... until now! Thanks COVID for making so many things closed that I'm finding time to hit up stuff on my TO DO list! But I digress... This place is AMAZING. Okay, granted it isn't huge, but as long as you have the right tour guide (I have no idea how many tour guides they have) its a really wonderful visit. I believe our tour guide was Mike. He was FANTASTIC. The tour was really fun and extremely informative. Even if you aren't a car person, the life of Carroll Shelby is pretty interesting. If you are a car person, some of the stories will give you chills. The history located in this museum is fantastic. The cars you see are beautiful and tell the story of racing. They have a fantastic store with just about any kind of souviner you can imagine with SHELBY on it! LOL We spent too much money and I rarely get sucked in by gift shops! But, this was a wonderful and memorable experience and I'm so happy I finally made it. Its free guys! Check it out while in Vegas. Check the website so you can arrive at tour time, because you need to do the tour to get the full experience. MUST DO.

Wayne O.

Yelp
If one likes cars, it's worth a look. Not a great museum but it's a 501C non-profit so drop in and leave a donation.
google avatar

Yelp
Like someone else noted here, I am not a car person. My husband is, and he likes to share what he knows about Shelby. I got more excited about some racing history after we saw Ford vs Ferrari a couple years back. We were visiting Vegas and this popped up as something to see. FREE Huge bonus is that it was free. We actually wished it was bigger. It was a little out of the way for us as we did not have a rental and wasn't close enough to walk to , but we went by Uber from the strip. You walk in and greeted by a friendly employee. She was excited to welcome us and let us know that we were in the right place. You walk in and are in the gift shop, to your right is the museum with a good number of cars. All have a nice history and story. There was lots of information. There is a giant warehouse attached that is for car work. That part seems to go on forever, but I wish there was more space for the pretty cars in the museum. We spend just about an hour here, reading and learning about Shelby. My husband is so glad that we made the stop out so he could drool over the cars. The gift shop had some good sales going on and some fun stuff. I would recommend going. Hopefully the driving experinces will open back up when the pandemic gets more under control.

Yelp
A free activity in Las Vegas... My friend, Niki, is quite smart! She suggested that we visit the Shelby Heritage Museum. I was wondering why, but instead, I asked if it was free. The answer was "yes", so I agreed to take a look. I really don't know anything about Shelby. I figured that they make Cobras and Mustangs from walking around the merchandise and the automobiles. There were shirts, duffle bags, caps, portable chairs, etc. for purchase. The free tours are Monday through Friday at 10:30am and 1:30pm. On Saturdays, the tour is at 10:30am. There are no tours on Sundays. Niki said that the car that was in the movie, "The Art of Racing in the Rain" was in the museum. We couldn't guess which one it was. That was a super good movie! Anyway, when you visit, enjoy the free parking and cars on display! There also were a couple of trucks, too!
google avatar

AJ O.

Yelp
I saw Ford v. Ferrari at Town Square and decided to head over to the Shelby Heritage Center afterwards, since it's just across the road. Considering that it's 100% free and not lined with salespeople trying to pressure you into buying a car or merchandise (the woman working the gift shop even pointed me towards the museum without asking), the Shelby Heritage Center is an awesome, nicely put together journey through the life and times of one of America's most legendary car designers. One wishes there was even more to see, but considering the Heritage Center is inside Shelby American's headquarters and they've got an entire business to run, it's not bad at all for a free Vegas attraction. It's a must-see for car lovers and/or folks fascinated by the Christian Bale/Matt Damon-starring look at Carroll and Ken Miles' big day at Le Mans, but don't expect to spend more than half an hour here.
google avatar

Steve L.

Yelp
If you're into Mustangs, Cobras or anything Shelby you have to go to the Shelby Heritage Center. Mike Dempsey was a great tour guide. Saturday mornings with the cars and coffee is a nice touch too. Love this place and all the history, can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Kathleen J.

Yelp
This is a free tour. It'd be worth a visit even if it weren't. They have some absolutely fabulous cars there and you can stay as long as you want. We did the tour, and though it was a bit long winded for us, he was very thorough. We were able to come and go as we pleased, look at what we wanted in our time frame, and leave early if we wanted. They have tons of different t-shirts, and other memorabilia for purchase. The prices aren't crazy either. If you love history, and cars, this is a MUST stop by in Las Vegas. It's right off the interstate and you cannot miss it!
google avatar

Zabrina W.

Yelp
This place is simple and straight to the point. Beautiful cars and staff. A mustang enthusiast spot with good apparel and souvenirs.
google avatar

Tuff Cook E.

Yelp
5 stars because it's free, clean, uncrowned and has bathrooms, big free parking lot :) But this is small- about 20 cars, the gift shop is as big as the museum. 10 min if you're not a car buff, 20 if you are.
google avatar

Kaylyn S.

Yelp
This place is a lot of fun for those who know who Carol Shelby was and/or appreciate Shelby cars. The tour guide was great, patiently answering everyone's questions and clearly loved where he works. The small museum was fun to explore (mostly Mustangs and Cobras). It was a nice change of pace from the Vegas scene. This is also a great place to pick up gifts if you know someone named Shelby!
google avatar

Jessica R.

Yelp
This is our second visit to Shelby and This time we did the VIP Tour and truly was worth the the cost. We know a bit about Shelby but learned even more today. The cars of course are amazing and the guide was very nice. With the tour we got a swag bag and it was very good, including a carry bag, vip hat, glass and Shelby coin.
google avatar

Jamie H.

Yelp
Stopped by here for the first time and pretty cool place if you're into muscle cars and in particular Carroll Shelby and what he created.
google avatar

Mary L.

Yelp
The museum is awesome!!!! Definitely worth stopping. The paid tour is pointless, unless you prefer them to read you the information instead of reading yourself from the signs. You get to go in a door that everyone else can see through the glass. You don't get to see anything special on the tour you can't see on your own. Don't waste your money. Put that money towards stuff in the gift shop because the gift shop is pricy, but has cool stuff!!
google avatar

Kimberly J.

Yelp
I love Shelby.. Came back here on my birthday 7/12. I love just walking around and buy a bunch of stuff.. Still one of my favorite places in Vegas. I will be back next time I am here.
google avatar

Sasha A.

Yelp
I had heard from many people that this is a really cool place to visit, especially if you love cars! I had taken my nephew to a car museum a few miles away, but they only took cash for entry. We left and I decided to go here instead. Free admission was a plus! I had heard that you can go see them working on the cars. I think because of COVID-19 you can only see that through a glass. They follow social distancing and mask requirements. They have several cool cars on display, some are for sale! We really enjoyed it! They also have a very cool gift shop that you can find anything Shelby related.
google avatar

Nicholas B.

Yelp
I did the Shelby American Prime Experience, the tour group was about 10 people which was a good size. The tour guide was reasonably knowledgeable on the subject, it's an amazing story and well worth the visit. The museum is not huge but there are some awesome cars that must be seen. The tour only takes an hour and then you can spend so time looking at the museum and gift shop. As a New Zealander it was a must see with the Bruce McLaren connection.
google avatar

Juliane H.

Yelp
I definitely love cars, I confess I expected more from the Shelby museum, but I recommend it for car lovers.
google avatar

Candice K.

Yelp
Who knew I would come to Vegas for an educational history lesson! I knew very little about Carroll Shelby prior to visiting the Shelby Heritage Center. We came for the free guided tour at 10:30 a.m. (they only have 1 free guided tour per day, but you are welcome to do a self guided tour at anytime during their business hours). Our tour guide was amazing, interactive, funny, and taught us a lot about the history of Carroll Shelby. I walked out with so many fun facts! The cool part was we were able to sign their wall after the tour was done - I am forever a part of the Shelby Heritage Center! :) They have some historic cars on display, as well as newer models (some are even for sale!). They also have a large gift shop if you want to pick up some gifts for your favorite Shelby lovers. They have a large private parking lot out in front as well.
google avatar

Christopher K.

Yelp
A lifelong Mustang, Shelby, and Cobra this is the Mecca. All Mustang Shelby's are made here. I knew about this place but this was the first chance I got to visit. Got to tour the center and cars on display. Coolest part was seeing the production line.
google avatar

Scott R.

Yelp
Well, the price is right for the Shelby Heritage Center. It's not to far from the strip and it's totally work the trip. What I really liked were the windows that offered a view into the garage, where a number of vehicles were being worked on. If you're a Shelby/Mustang person, you have GOT to go here when you hit up Las Vegas. They have tons of Shelby merchandise in their store, from shirts to leather jackets and everything in between.
google avatar

Jocelyn W.

Yelp
Had a horrible experience with them. Booked the tour for the 12/29/2022. Later on the person from this place I remember the name is Carlo called me and told me the trip advisor got it wrong. They were not open on the 29. And asked me to talk to TripAdvisor customer service about it. Which unpleasant, but it's not their fault, so to me, it was fine at this point. Called TripAdvisor, they told me I need contact Shelby people again for the approval to return the money, since they have no refund policy. Tried to call Carlo again, I was outside, when he first pick up I couldn't hear what he was saying, so I paused for a second then said " hello? Can you hear me?" Carlo in the phone was super rude, he goes :" so stupid" then proceeded hang up my call. I tried to call him again after that he hang up again and again then blocked me. Since I can't get through his phone anymore. I know I have accent. But there is no excuse for him to not give me any chance to explain myself. I hate to say this is racial discrimination, but to me this felt like it. Especially this is the mistake you and TripAdvisor made. Too bad I really a fan of Shelby car, but will I come back again and recommend people come here? It's a hard no.
google avatar

George D.

Yelp
My wife and had a great time touring the Shelby Heritage Center! Our guide was fun and insightful and really did a great job. The museum cars are amazing pieces of Shelby history from past to present. The shop was extra special because we got to meet the lead engineer and test drivers who really shed a lot of light on the meticulous process they go through to produce these amazing muscle machines! Any car enthusiast should put this place on your " must see" list!

Yelp
We stopped by here on our last day in Vegas. Our shuttle bus drove by here on the way to the strip over the course of our trip and it caught our eye so we decided to stop in. Upon entering, it brings you into the gift shop. There were tons of souvenirs and memorabilia. Shirts, signs, cups, toy cars. We loved looking through all the items the gift shop had to offer. This then brought you into the show room of cars to look at. There was a wide variety with signs to tell you about the history on the cars. It would be nice if the cars had the prices in large print just to see for reference. There are signs that point to ask a salesman for pricing but it would be nice to have it posted so you don't have to inquire if you aren't seriously interested, just curious. Overall a cool stop for anyone who is a car fan. It was a quick stop though, maybe 20 minutes. They do offer a VIP guided tour as well which includes the option for getting a souvenir bag, cup, etc.

Mark F.

Yelp
I really enjoyed browsing the Shelbys on display. The walls have posters with the Shelby story that accompanies some of the cars on display. I certainly recommend watching the movie and stopping by.
