Viral Ghost Kitchen Chain Man Vs. Fries Opens in Tacoma | Eater Seattle

"I visited the Shell parking lot where Man vs. Fries partnered with local food truck Wavez Kitchens to serve Cheeto-Stuffed California Burritos; the pop-up took place in the Shell lot and you can order from the truck there." - Harry Cheadle

I’ve visited the Shell station at 8433 South Hosmer Street while on assignment working in Tacoma. It is a little tricky entrance and exit since it sits right near the exit from I-5. I have not used the convenience store but never had a wait while filling up the truck. It’s pretty central to major roads, hotels, and shopping.

0 stars. gas pumps do not auto shut off. No signage about it either. Car was damaged due to it. Tried calling station to speak to manager & was refused. Told to never come back & never call them again. Have taken pictures & will have addressed by corporate.

Thank you for letting me use the bathroom, even though I had no money to buy anything.

Their restroom is always close. Nit good for travelers especially after you've already got off the road and paid for gas!!!

I have been to this particular Shell Station 2 times in the last week and left not getting any gas at all. Both times i have arrived to find a sign on the door that says "I'll be right back. 10 minutes" and both times I've had to wait because i have cash to pay for my gas. But 10 minutes comes and goes and no one comes back...15 minutes still no one working...i give up and leave. The 76 station a couple blocks down is always open with a friendly cashier waiting to accept my money that the Shell keeps missing out on. It's just really frustrating. It's the first gas station off of I-5 so you would expect it to be open. Guess i won't even try there anymore.

I come here often on my way to work and everyone is always super nice & welcoming. Around noon, the employee on shift was very rude and demanded since I just moved here recently that I get a Washington ID or he won’t sell to me. I had never seen him before and I will not be coming back due to the fact that he was very disrespectful.

The female cashier currently working could use a custom service class or refresher. As I attempted to open the door she was coming out to rudely inform me that she was busy getting ice and that I’d just have to come back. Ummm no I’ll just go somewhere else since you clearly don’t know how to talk to people. There is about 20 of us staying next door and we will all just go a little further done the street for whatever we need.

Drive 10 hours to get here. Wanted to clean out our car on the way home. Some lady came out and said” the vacuums don’t work so don’t throw your trash here”! No signs, the cans got fresh bags. She was rude AF.
