Shemer Art Center and Museum

I love that this local art center and gallery showcases local and up and coming artists, even high school students. The sculptures outside are all for sale and extensive in variety. Inside, this repurposed house (?) is charming with several different display rooms. We came during the New Horizons Student exhibit and I was amazed by the talent of these local teens. The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable.

Great place!! Always loved going to see all art shows and visit this center! Will let all of my friends and family know!!!

I sent an inquiry for private event facility rental over two weeks ago and I never heard anything back. Based on the responsiveness, I would not recommend renting this facility for a private event.

Beautiful house & location (some lady donated it to be a museum/art school) with spacious parking. Very cute concept with each former (bed)room turned into a small viewing area, but there wasn't much to look at; we were done in 15 minutes. People were friendly & there's a small gift shop inside, lovely grounds can be rented for weddings, etc.

This place was pretty decent. It was originally a home, and the city turned it into a small museum. Nothing really spectacular, but nothing real shabby either. To me overall a nice little museum, with friendly staff people. So if you're a person of art, maybe you could stop by and see what they have to offer.

An incredible place to host an event! It is beautiful, has a variety of settings, is spacious, and has extremely kind people who work there! They did everything in their power to help us get the results we wanted at our Wedding Vendor Open House a few weeks ago. Thank you, Shemer Art Center!

This small gallery is wonderful. I showed my jewelry line...Gems4Paws & GemGirl Bracelets at The Furry Friends event they held there, and it was Fantastic. Everyone was so helpful and its such a great venue for this event. I would definitely show there again next year.
