Great stay. No issues dealing with staff. Everything was straightforward and if I requested anything, it’s promptly attended to. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Rooms are clean and attended daily. We enjoyed our stay!||Close to many restaurants. I will stay here again and most definitely recommend it.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton in San Gabriel for over a month during an extended work trip, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Fred, John, and the entire team were incredibly welcoming, always greeting me by name and offering their assistance whenever needed. The hotel was spotless, both inside and out, making it a comfortable and pleasant place to stay. I'm truly grateful for the excellent service and hospitality—thank you for making my time away from home so enjoyable!

This is our 2nd stay since after COVID. Hotel is centrally located with many Asian restaurants, shops and markets around. Room is modern and clean, only complaint is lighting is too dim, wished they have better lighting. Wi-Fi is spotty and can be better. Front desk staff is great and a big shout out to Luis. He knew we are returned customer and offered the discounted parking for our 12 day stay, we were able to upgrade to deluxe room as part of AE benefit. Our friend who has the same AE benefit was told no room was available but Luis was great enough to help moves things around and helped with the upgrade. I hope management will recognize his great customer service skill, it is this type of service that will bring us back and be loyal customer.

Stayed with them about three or four times already. Luxury deco and neat. Front desk staff is always helpful and efficient. Great location with authentic Asian cuisine all around

If you are on budget for the wedding or for any hosted events, I personally do not recommend this hotel to be a venue regardless of the Chinese banquet availability. They charge almost every single thing and they are required you to provide the certificate of insurance for every vendor included cake delivery (bakery). If the vendor does not have the certificate of insurance, you need to purchase the liability insurance for your vendor on your own. If you borrow their LED screen for photo or video display in the ballroom (for any event), they also charge you 500 per screen and parking is 15 per car. Their location is convenient that located on Valley Blvd and nearby 99 ranch plaza with many restaurants. If you are not on a budget event, this place provides you several options for nice food and their lobby is much newer and looks modern.

Was such a relief to find this place after a horrible 1 night of what was meant to be 3 nights elsewhere in LA. Our first hotel was horrible (that's another story), so when we found this at a reasonable rate, we had to take a chance on it. |It's almost exclusively East Asian. The area, the staff, the ambience, everything. And that's a good thing. Everything felt so safe and civilised. And after where we'd just come from, it was a wonderful relief. I don't care if it's offensive to mention ethnicity. We are not East Asian but it's paramount to feel safe when travelling with children, and here we did. |The hotel itself is very pretty, excellently managed, and spotlessly clean. The parking charge of only £18 was at least half the price of most other hotels, some even 3 times cheaper. The beds were extremely comfortable. |Only drawback is the pool. It's tiny and in early October when we were there, hardly see any sun as it's surrounding by the buildings. Maybe in the actual summer it's better? Value wise, and safety wise, I'd definitely recommend. And if on the off chance, you are tourists on a road trip with kids, and have booked a place elsewhere that you are sitting in your room thinking what have we done, (like us) and are looking for a lifeline, then book this place. Just be aware you need a car though, but remember the parking is cheap and simple so all good.

Google
Great stay, wonderful location in San Gabriel walkable to restaurants and many more within short drive and to I-10. Great service by front desk shout out to Justine on quick and welcoming check in and many amenities including valuable Club Lounge with a typical hotel breakfast, and hot appetizers starting around 4 pm. Beautiful lobby and rooms too. Underground Parking is still plentiful even with events and goes right to hotel rooms, a nice convenience. Only exiting the parking can take a bit during events for some to figure out the machine, and lounge breakfast is a small selection without much space and hope can improve.

Thank you for the hospitality and comfortable stay! Everything was clean and the pillows are awesome. The in-room coffee is also good and the room service omelet was a treat.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, great location, spacious garage. There was a beautiful grand piano hidden by the elevators- I just thought it could be used more. But maybe it's just the timing of my visit. There was only one thing that I didn't like - light sensor by the bed. It was blinking brightly all night long making it impossible to sleep. Be ready to use one of your pillows as a blinking light cover. Other than that- great stay.

Yelp
During our 2025 Wildfire evacuation, we were incredibly fortunate to find the Shearon SG had availabilities. We were impressed by the hotel's overall quality and the exceptional kindness of the staff. They were understanding of our situation and even offered us an early check-in, which was a huge relief. This hotel is a true 4-star experience, with all-new amenities and a noticeable level of sophistication. The Club Lounge was a standout feature, providing a wonderful space with complimentary breakfast, coffee, and afternoon snacks--it truly set the Shearon apart from other hotels. While the $18 overnight parking fee is a bit on the higher side, it felt worthwhile given the secured and impeccably clean well-lit parking area. Our room (Corner King Suite) was HUGE with table for 8. Bathroom was spacious and luxurious, and the shower was fantastic, although the rainfall design resulted in slightly weaker water pressure. The location is ideal, lots of great restaurants nearby. The convenience of a Starbucks in the same building was a plus, though we rarely needed it, as the Lounge's high-quality coffee was great and FREE for members. The gym was also far superior to what we've experienced at other hotels, with a comprehensive range of equipment (though perhaps lacking slightly in leg-specific machines). Shearon SG is pet-friendly. It feels great seeing dogs in the hotel :) Shearon SG provided us with a true safe haven during a difficult time. Highly recommended!!

Yelp
12/25/2025 - This Sheraton Club Lounge has a dedicated conference room and finally opened its Happy Hours from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in 2024. This is my main reason to come here to celebrate Christmas. The upgraded Hors d'oeuvres will begin next Monday, 12/30/2024. Hopefully, it will live up to the Sheraton Club standard. There are only five hotels in the city of San Gabriel, and I selected Sheraton for the main reason of a Club Lounge access while the other four do not have it at all. I enjoyed a heated outdoor swimming pool today. Unfortunately , it does not have a hot tub to enhance the staying experience. The bed comfortable level is a 5-star rating. I am impressed with the quality of the guestroom, especially its bathroom that is better than almost all Marriott namesake hotels in the U.S., e.g., 1) the lights will be automatically turned on upon entering the bathroom and turned off after no one is there to save the electrical bill; 2) the bathroom wall has a nice patterned either stone or expensive tiles in comparison to a water resistant synthetic materials per Marriott standard, which immediately makes me feel cozy and luxury feeling - watch a short video for reference. I had a great check-in experience with Arely who acted like The Ritz-Carlson front desk check-in staff with a professional quality skill, etc. I will come back in 2025 to make a quota to achieve my Elite status. For Marriott Bonvoy Elite or higher membership status, you may select this hotel for a better overall value because only a few hotels offers M Club or Club Lounges access among 370 hotels in the City of Los Angeles. On the day of 12/25/2024, its guestrooms occupancy rate at 92% is a testimony of its management success! Note: I almost give the hotel as a 5-star rating but hold it back due to missing a hot tub.

Yelp
I've stayed plenty of nights with Sheraton. And love it every time, if there are any issues that arise Guest Services are on it quickly. We usually come about 2-3 times a year. Parking is $18 per vehicle per day with unlimited entry. Located in a residential area, you're allowed to park on the street during the day without permit. No parking on street without a permit between 2am-6am or you will be fined by city of San Gabriel. You may purchase a temporary overnight parking permit for $4 per night from a permit vending machine at the San Gabriel Police Department or the San Gabriel Parks and Recreation Department. I would advise to call front desk before arrival if you have any questions or concerns regarding your room. You may request for specific accommodations but it's not always guarantee depending on availability and other circumstances. Microwaves are availability upon request and availability, they only have a handful floating around. Suites give you Lounge access on the 6th floor which includes breakfast. Monday-Friday is until 9am and Saturday-Sunday is from 6am-11am. There usually is country potatoes, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, some sort of protein, oatmeal, pastries like danishes, cut fruit, cereal, fresh squeezed oj and toast section. When breakfast isn't being served you're able to access lounge and there are select soda and water in fridge along with some fruits, nuts, Chex mix and granola bars. Lealiz is always extremely helpful and friendly, her hospitality is through the roof. She so personable and always makes sure you have what you need.

Yelp
It was......barely ok. It has the ability to be better, and I am sad it wasn't. I was here in March earlier this year. I will corroborate some of the recent critical comments. - Yes they have this really strong perfume smell in the elevator lobby. I don't know why. It might've smelled better if it was less intense, but it was REALLY strong. I can see why it would aggravate certain guests. - Yes the water pipes and lighting are really loud and made noise all day and all night. I would've reached out to guest services about it but I was mostly out and about exploring the 626 and the rest of Los Angeles that I didn't let it bother me too much. - Yes the soap/shampoo/conditioner were very masculine smelling. Not a big deal for me, but it should be neutral for all guests. I actually prefer the soap/shampoo/conditioner from the Cosmopolitan hotel in Vegas, even though it's kind of on the girlier side (I could give two sh*ts, if it smells good, it smells good!). - This hotel is very Asian. In both good ways and bad ways. Good ways like if you want a Chinese wedding, and/or to be nearby a lot of Asian restaurants/businesses, it's definitely worth considering. Bad ways like the fridge in the room smells like remnants of durian fruit. - Yes the in room kettle looked gross and disgusting (in the inside of the kettle). I ended up just walking downstairs to the Starbucks and asking for hot water there. They really need to do a better job at cleaning, this is still a fairly new hotel that was built just before the pandemic started, and was closed since then, which only reopened recently. There is no excuse for it to be lackluster in cleanliness and not have the appropriate repairs/maintenance to be done. Overall it was nice and quiet, and the room was spacious. I would love to come back (and a part of me wants to), but I think it's better to keep trying new hotels and gaining more experience/exposure to more of their offerings. I would only recommend this place if they fixed the listed issues above.

Travis P.

Yelp
This is actually quite a beautiful venue. I came for a Chinese styled wedding and they had a 10 course menu. The ceremony/reception area is quite large and can easily host 300 people, the wedding I went to had 200 and there was still plenty of room. The only negative that we experienced was the servers were taking the food away wayyyyy too early and throwing it away (easily could've boxed it up or something), sadly such a waste of good food. They didn't ask they just took it to clear the table. Besides that, a great spot to host a big celebration.

Dora J.

Yelp
The hotel light is mostly controlled by sensor. If you don't move for around 10min, the light will be automatically turned off even with the switch on. I don't know who decided to do so. But it's very annoying. Because you are forced to move the moment the light turned off. It happens 24-7. Last time I was having a zoom meeting, and the light turned off. Man. It's such an unpleasant experience with paying such a high price. Stop cheap out in light cost(penny). You won't save much and only yields unhappy customers like me!

Esther G.

Yelp
Love this hotel. Have stayed here twice for my trips to SoCal and will stay here again. Rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are super comfortable. Has desk, seating, refrigerator and full size hygiene products so you don't need to ask for refills. Easy check in and out. Efficient staff. You do have to pay $18/day for parking but has a few levels of parking. Usually find parking in the first few floors. Just don't park in the spots marked valet. Love you can go straight to room floor from the parking floor instead of using a separate elevator like some other hotels. Makes moving your luggage much easier. Super close to many delicious restaurants. Many within walking distance!

Bernardo S.

Yelp
The hotel is tucked away in a neighborhood place and surrounded by endless Asian restaurants yes all within walking distance. My family stayed here for 4 Nights yes it's a little on the upscale side per my standards. It's quite clean and very bright surroundings like the hallways. The gym is very decent. The club lounge has unlimited expresso, canned soda, and water refreshments available until 9:30 pm. Rooms. We stayed in a larger suite with a dining table. We also got a connecting 1 king room. 1 king bedroom is kinda stuffy from an opinion. Big note. If you like me. You refuse to pay for hotel parking. I recommend to use it. I thought I would save by parking on the residential street. Apparently, you can't park on the street 2 am-6 pm. And NO there are no street signs saying so. So I'm going to contest that ticket. So just a little heads up. SYOY sorry no pics

Yelp
I stayed at the Sheraton for a work trip a couple of months ago. The hotel was clean and the customer service was great. The room was very spacious and very quiet. The fitness center was clean and had a lot of equipment. I got a chance to eat at the lobby bar. The waitress was very friendly and nice. I ordered the steak and bok choy with the chicken wings. The steak was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. The bok choy was very good and the wings were tasty. The ambiance is very customer friendly and has a lot of parking.

Erica F.

Yelp
This review is only based on the dining experiences. I was invited to a banquet. The banquet room is grant, and I am glad that I dressed up for the occasion. Chinese food was served. There are more than enough food for each table for sure. My favorite dish is the first appetizer: Chinese BBQ platter. It was made perfectly that the meat was very tender and flavorful. Servers were very attentive, and they often checked on us to see if we need anything. They also put the leftover food on a smaller plate in order to make space for more dishes. Underground self-serve parking is available at a reasonable price. Great dining experience overall.

Yelp
As a Marriott Bonvoy member we have started to try out Sheraton's the last couple of years with mixed reviews. This property, however, is on our list of places to stay when in the area. Self-parking is safe and plentiful $18 or you can choose to have the valet take your car. Check-in process is quick and friendly. This hotel has an Elite check-in line. Starbucks in the lobby and very nice restaurants as well. This hotel is very clean and room is layed out in a way that makes sense. Pillows and bedding are clean and comfortable. Towels are large and plentiful. Shower has large bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner available. The bottles are full. The remote had batteries that worked and the room was quiet and safe.

Lina C.

Yelp
Super glad they lessened/got rid of the overly yucky perfume smell in the elevators. The scent was honestly nauseating. So that was a huge change management PLUS. Also, having a nice gym is pretty decent too. Being a platinum member, we ended up with the room furthest from the elevator, big negative!!! The one plus about the room is that it came with an electric kettle so that's nice for those who want hot water. However, the kettle had stains on the bottom so wish they could be checked for cleanliness in between guests. The room itself CONS: 1. Endless water screeching noises. We were only staying for one night and being the furthest from the elevator, way too tired to get everything moved around. 2. NO VENTILATION in the bathroom. Super super yuck, like all that moist and smell that accumulates after a shower or taking a shit... that makes the entire room STINK 3. Rugs need to be pulled out. Like super not sanitary as this hotel allows pets making it non allergen free place to stay. And can only imagine the amount of allergens and dust on the rugs if those aren't thoroughly cleaned on a constant basis. 4. The "warm oak" scent for the shampoo, conditioner, body wash SMELL LIKE MEN's COLOGNE like reminds me of those times A&F flooded their stores with the cheap A&F cologne smell. ICKY. The scent very off putting. thankfully after drying hair, it went away. Otherwise could you imagine having hair that smelled like that.... :( we want mint lemon or floral scents!!!! For a pricey "luxury" vibe hotel from the lobby and hallway furnishing, the rooms themselves need to match that! It appears the price we pay is just for the location and the lobby furnishings. The rooms really need a glam up too.

Victor L.

Yelp
For what you pay this is 5+ stars! Everything here is clean, spacious and I'm not sure if it's just our room but I've never seen a room with such a high ceiling. We paid around $200/night which around here you get 3 star quality hotels. This feels like a 5 star hotel from when you walk in, the front desk and the overall ambiance. I hope they can keep this up because it is well maintained. The staff from the front desk to the housekeepers are very professional and friendly. It's also so close to really good Asian food. My wife did a food run and quick shopping for clothes. She was back in less than an hour. If you like Chinese food and you're from out of town, this is the hotel for you.

Trung S.

Yelp
Frequent traveler here and I have to say the staff at this hotel is sub par. If you care about service, stay away. If you're just looking to stay at a room it's decent. Lots of hospitality training needed at this place and they're supposed to specialize in that!

Becky L.

Yelp
I Experienced quite an interesting Yet super Wet/pouring day here in SoCal; well, my new job sent me here for paid in-person CPR training, Part 2 on our Elite Badge 23' Day. Getting here was painful, because it was literally pouring rain (I left super early too): but what was worse was the City of San Gabriel was flooding across from Sheraton Hotel, San Gabriel. But it wasn't just the City of San Gabriel, the City of Arcadia was also flooded! Since this event was held in one of my favorite cities, I'm keeping it at 5-stars. The venue was totally awesome and so was our Instructor. He was very thorough and detailed. He made us actually practice significant sections. It was more like a condensed course squished in less than 2 hours from our 8-hour online training that we had to complete prior to attending earlier this morning's in-person training. This was a longer program through the American Heart Association compared to Heart Plus one I went through last time before my CPR card got expired. Thank you to Sheraton, San Gabriel for hosting today's CPR session through AHA in (Hollywood Room)! It was an extremely upscale venue. Also, Not sure why CPR classes have all been held inside Inns or Hotels?!

Yelp
The stay was very disappointing! I was woken up in the middle of the night by an unknown noise, resembling mechanical operations, which lasted until morning and severely disrupted my sleep. Reporting it to the front desk didn't result in any timely resolution. This is unacceptable for a four-star hotel. Definitely would not recommend!

Christina N.

Yelp
Room is nice, clean and spacious. Access to lounge is nice with breakfast and evening bites. Great location in SGV making it close by to lots of great Asian food.

Eri E.

Yelp
I stayed here because I was a guest at a small conference. I only needed to stay for one night. The hotel bar has a good selection of drinks. The red dress is my favorite. Service is slow, but I had good conversations with our bartender and she was doing her best. We got a king sized room that suited what we needed. I liked that there was plenty of outlets to plug our devices and light for some night time reading. I've used a few of the conference rooms to do presentations. I liked the style of them; feels like you're in a fancy library! Also - convenient Starbucks location for breakfast! The only complaint I have is the parking situation. When I arrived, there was no room for parking in their underground structure because the event I was a part of had a car show on the third floor. As a hotel guest, I felt that there should have been space saved for hotel guests. Yet, the staff was accommodating when I had mentioned it.

Joe C.

Yelp
There is lots to love about the Sheraton San Gabriel, from the beautiful lobby to gorgeous facade, spacious suites and friendly staff. I was very happy with our stay compared to other hotels in the area and will definitely come back. The only quibble is that breakfast is awful - it needs better quality and variety and unlike most Marriott properties, there wasn't even an a la carte option available to upgrade to. A minor quibble for a very good hotel.

Yelp
Our wedding day at the Sheraton San Gabriel was an absolute dream come true, thanks to the outstanding team and beautiful setting! We wanted an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception, and what a perfect place to have our wedding at! The Garden Terrace was on the 2nd floor near the pool area and was beautiful with bamboos in the back. The banquet hall was also very beautiful and spacious. We initially had a rocky start with trying to book this venue. We were in contact with a sales manager that gave us wrong information, and she also told us that they do not book out events until 8 months before the date. So we waited and tried contacting her again, but no response. I sent in another request through the Sheraton website and someone else had responded saying this person had left the job, and the information we were provided was wrong! BUT, other than these shenanigans, we were paired with Ella, a catering sales manager, and she was amazing! From the moment we started working with Ella, she was incredibly responsive and helpful. She guided us through every step of the planning process, addressing all our questions and concerns promptly and with genuine care. On the big day, everything was executed flawlessly. The venue itself was stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for our special day. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, from setting up the decor to coordinating with our vendors seamlessly. It was raining on the morning of, but all the chairs for the ceremony stayed dry. One thing that stood out to us was the exceptional service provided by Ella and her team. They were always there to assist us, making sure everything ran smoothly and ensuring that our guests were comfortable and taken care of. There were more guests than expected for the ceremony, but the team immediately brought out and set up more chairs for them. For dinner, our deal breaker was to have traditional Chinese family style dinner, and the Sheraton seemed like the only hotel around the area that provided this. The food was AMAZING! I wish I had more time to sit down and enjoy the food. There were multiple levels of menus. We chose the Gold menu and had 11 courses, including appetizers and dessert. We were also able to make any adjustments, such as moving the fried rice to an earlier course and adding noodles to the lobster dish. In short, our wedding at the Sheraton San Gabriel was an unforgettable experience, and we have Ella and the entire team to thank for that. If you're searching for the perfect wedding venue with top-notch service and a responsive team, look no further. We couldn't have asked for a better place to say "I do"!

Natalie H.

Yelp
Rooms and hotel are clean, but it's nothing special or fancy. Let's just say that you get what you pay for. There's a breakfast buffet that's included, but it's very subpar and nothing special. We chose to get breakfast and coffee at the Starbucks right next-door, even though we had to pay.

Bodo G.

Yelp
I stay at 6-10 hotels a year. First time I had such a bad experience from the front desk of any hotel. This oldish man with an accent was rude beyond reason. Judging from the way he acted towards me, he's probably like this to everyone. I'm appalled how he is still working here. My best guess is Sheraton just doesn't care.

Katrina V.

Yelp
I chose to stay at this Sheraton since it was right by a place I had to be for work. Admittedly, I felt that the hotel wasn't located in the best area from what I could tell, but it is what it is. The most important thing was that I felt safe, and they had onsite parking ($15 in/out). Never judge a book by its cover though. This hotel was so opulent! The lobby looked pretty exquisite, the hotel was home to an upscale sushi restaurant where you can get omakase, and it even had spa services. I'm all about that, so my biggest regret was not having stayed long enough to get the chance to indulge in all of what the hotel had to offer. I had a spacious room with a king-size bed. The ceiling was so high that it made the room seem massive, but it also made it difficult to get the temperature right. Not sure if this was a renovation job since the hotel itself seemed to be fairly new, but the bathroom was spotless and beautiful with its granite shower. The textured floor in the bathroom was kind of weird, though. Unfortunately the wireless sucked. I was only able to get 1-2 bars of connectivity at the most. I'm a Marriott member, but I haven't stayed at a Sheraton in a while. This hotel highly impressed me and will make me think twice when I choose a brand to stay.

Damian G.

Yelp
I am deeply disappointed with the service at Sheraton Los Angeles San Gabriel. The customer service, particularly from Lena, Rudy, Alex Viyar, and Paolo Dimailig, was appalling. Despite presenting them with accurate information from the Starbucks and Marriott websites, I was told, "I can not read what you are showing me. We are not gonna help you in here." This experience left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a Marriott Bonvoy Elite Member. I strongly urge potential guests to reconsider this location.

Yelp
Whenever Jamie W. and I look for accommodations in LA for one of our extended weekend trips, we tend to gravitate to the same area in the vicinity of Alhambra and Monterey Park. It's not too far from Downtown, and hotels are reasonably priced by SoCal standards. Besides, there are lots of great Asian eateries concentrated over several miles on Valley Blvd and Atlantic Blvd, including my favorite spot for Hainan chicken, Savoy Kitchen (review: https://bit.ly/2KLT08s). I saw the Sheraton San Gabriel pop up on Kayak at the top of their recommendations. They were charging just $164 per night for three nights in a King room. The address was right on Valley, so I was sold right away. When we arrived here, we were pleasantly surprised how plush the hotel was with a huge lobby, a large gym (...like we'd actually use it between meals), and three levels of underground parking. Be aware they charge an additional $15 per might for use of the parking lot. There was also a swimming pool that was built more for wading, which was fine by me since I forgot my Speedo anyway. Don't worry, I actually wear trunks. Our third floor King room turned out to be spacious, nicely appointed, and blessedly quiet. According to the front desk, the hotel was about 55% occupied, but they also hold big private banquets on Saturdays as the lot was full up one of the nights. Regardless, we were able to stroll on Valley with ease and found good spots for snacks and such. it was also a quick drive to the Huntington in San Marino. They provide housekeeping services upon request a day in advance. Yes, we'll definitely be back when we develop an LA state of mind. RELATED - Exploring LA? Yelp
We spent 4 nights at Sheraton Los Angeles San Gabriel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is good, not far from the freeway exit/entrances making it convenient. There's also a 99 Ranch Market just a block or so away, with numbers of food options in the area. Parking is also super convenient and affordable, at $15/night. They have several levels of underground parking available for self park. Let them know when checking in that you parked/intend to park and they'll provide you a parking pass that you scan upon entry/exit. The parking is directly accessible by the same elevators that you would take to your room so you don't have to worry about switching elevators. So convenient!! The room was nice and roomy, with a desk and a small couch. The bed and pillows were a little softer than I would like but that's nothing new unfortunately. They also gave us 2 complementary bottles of water and told us we could call for more as needed since we were staying a few nights. That was much appreciated. Another great thing about this hotel, is the tv is fairly smart, and you can connect to your Netflix account directly. They also claim to remotely sign you out immediately after checking out (I hope that is the case because we forgot to sign out LOL). We look forward to staying at Sheraton Los Angeles San Gabriel again in the future as long as prices remain competitive (rare compliment because I can only say that truthfully about a handful of hotels).

Yelp
This hotel is run by (according to several employees) old Chinese lady. Whoever the GM is. She's running this hotel to the ground. There has been situations where she would shut elevator banks and have only 1 operate instead of all three. Club lounge is an absolute joke. Breakfast is always the same. Frozen baked pastry that tastes like cardboard, scrambled eggs and mixed potatoes. Breakfast in general is really bad. Late night snack? Nope! Bags of chips? Nope! Instead, there's a peanut jar and salted pretzel mix in a jar. Cmon lady! I've seen so many people just stick their hands inside that jar. I've told this to working employees and they just seem to brush it off.

Yelp
It's my third time staying at Sheraton Los Angeles San Gabriel. And it's the worst experience I ever had this time. First of all, the club lounge serve breakfast from 7:30-9:30 am, Mon to Fri. I came here around 9:20am, the staff already removed most of the breakfast dishes, and I only have few option to eat. No bakery left, and no egg left. I felt very annoyed cause if the serving time end at 9:30, the staff shouldn't remove the dishes before 9:20am. Second, the club lounge staff made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Why I filled my plate with foods, the staff kept watching me which gave me a feeling that I shouldn't eat too much. Really? I paid for the hotel room fee, right? The food is also included. Overall it's very bad experience, $600 per night spent, and that's how I was treated.

Yelp
Customer service and starbucks is a big plus. Fairly new hotel with the bare minimum. Don't expect too much extras i would say if you've stayed at more luxe places. The parking is located awkward on the side but plentiful with the elevators centered to the garage so you won't get lost. it smells amazing when you walk into the lobby. Their desserts are from a local bakery marked up of course! would def book here out of convenience. it's weird that they don't include certain toiletries you would have to ask front desk -ex: toothbrush

Yelp
Clean hotel. Stayed here twice as a platinum marriot member. Includes breakfast at 7am on the 6th level in their club house. Rooms are pretty sound proof. Beautiful lobby. Microwave to use in lobby for any late night eats.

Yelp
Pretty hotel with a large conference room. The venue was professionally done by their staff and it was nice. The wait staff was also nice and attentive.

Yelp
I just called front desk and JuanCarlos Martinez (believe that's his last name) was awfully rude. Don't even know how he works at a hotel as a front reception. Poor etiquette. I called for refill for bottle hand soap said it couldn't be done until tomorrow morning.... Then I asked for water bottles. He said he'll bring someone up. I've been waiting for over 15mins I called back and very rudely he said there's no one working here only him and security is coming to drop off water bottles in 20mins if not I can pick it up myself. I told him he could have told me that earlier I've been waiting. He just says yeah ok and hangs up. I called back again twice because he didn't answer the phone call the first time. Again very rudely... I asked for his name and like I mention is JuanCarlos Martinez. I told him I didn't have to be so rude about it and hang up on me that I'll be calling front desk in the morning to complain. He literally laughed at me and said oh rude, if my supervisor is right here next to me, byeeee and hung up again. First of all I thought that JuanCarlos guy said there was no one working here right now besides him and security... but now all of the sudden his supervisor is right next to him? Which one is it ? That guy is so ghetto I don't know how he works here, the worse costumer service I have ever received from a Marriott. Lovely hotel but after this I won't be staying here anymore. Not with someone like that on the phone talking to costumer so rudely. Who does that guy think he is ???

Yelp
I came here for a friend's wedding, and as part of the wedding, there was a multiple course Cantonese style dinner, served at tables of 8 or so. The first course was a standard cold plate platter with roast pork, beef, and jellyfish. The roast pork was super sweet and tender. The rest were fairly standard. The next course was a hot and sour soup. Fairly decent, nothing too special. There were dried scallops but I didn't really taste them. The next course was black truffle roast duck. That was my favorite course of the entire meal. The black truffles really enhanced the flavor of the duck, making the duck super savory and buttery. I did not eat the prawns. After that there was black pepper beef tenderloin. The beef was somewhat on the chewy side and I would have preferred a bit more black pepper. Then there was the lobster, just about as good as any Cantonese restaurant in the area. I did not eat the steamed whole fish or the broccoli. The last course was an egg fried rice which was fairly standard, and then we had sago for dessert which was quite good. Overall, it was a solid wedding dinner and quite tasty. The place was very clean and nice.

Yelp
Nice and spacious. Well lit. Ceiling lights are very pretty. The ballroom is clean and has high ceilings. Guests parking is very easily accessible. Surrounded by wonderful Asian food places.

Yelp
First of all, I would've gave a zero if this App. would let me. This is our second time stayed at this hotel. We had a good experience the first time as you can see from my previous review. And also because we came here during Xmas and didn't get to use their pool! We brought my niece here for some time off from distance learning. She loves playing in the pool so we spent few hours at the pool side. For the time we were there; never saw any worker came by the pool to check if there's enough pool towels or guests are ok!? Anyhow, pool towels ran out and we had to use the ones from our room! The worst part is yet to come... after my niece got out of shower. She noticed extreme itchiness at the right side of her body. I was terrified when I saw it. It was the big patch of redness and rash on the side of her body. Luckily I brought hydrocortisone with me and applied some on her. 15 mins. later more rashes appeared on her body ( see pics. below.) Spoke to the mgr. on duty (Alex) about this situation. He told me that they've already checked the pool water and everything is within the guideline . He thinks my niece may have caught a bug bite or some sort. Bottom line is it had nothing to do with the hotel! I'm very upset about the way he handles the situation. No sympathy and doesn't take responsibility of the matter! I think we are better off staying at the Hilton San Gabriel. We've been staying there every time we come to LA. Great service, clean place and friendly staffs. Definitely not coming back here! Keep your kids away from the pool if the have sensitive skins.

Yelp
We stayed at the Sheraton for 7 nights as our house was undergoing renovations. This was such a treat and staycation as it was right in the heart of San Gabriel, where all the action is! The restaurants inside the Sheraton are all closed due to pandemic, but there's so many restaurants that are walking distance, you can rest assured that you won't starve during your stay here! For those who need to start their day with a cup of joe, Starbucks is attached to the hotel lobby, so you won't even need to dress up to get your morning fix! The only bummer is that you can't pre-order on the app, but that's just me being lazy to the max. Our check-in process was pretty seamless and we also got a room upgrade since we were staying for a week and also got great pricing by booking directly on their website. During the pandemic, there is no daily housekeeping, which was a bit of a bummer since we stayed here for a week. However, we are able to request for toiletries from the front desk. There are also complimentary water bottles, just ask! Our room was quite nice, with a king bed and fluffy pillows. There's also a desk and stable wifi for our remote work situation. We can also take some of the virtual meetings on the couch in our room to switch up the scenery! There's also options to do some work in the lobby or outdoor pool area if you're not taking calls that require privacy. The ambience in the lobby is quite nice with low-fi lounge music. We were located on the 2nd floor so we can easily see if the gym/pool is packed. Unfortunately the week that we stayed was quite chilly so we did not get to make use of the pool. There is no complimentary parking and the cost is $50/night as of April 2021. Luckily, we are residents of San Gabriel and already have our annual permit for street parking. We were able to easily find parking down the street every night. Be warned that if you do not have a permit, DO NOT park on the street overnight. The San Gabriel police are really diligent in giving out tickets. Would you rather receive a $53 parking ticket or pay $50 for the hotel garage parking? Pick your poison. The difference is that, the ticket ruins your mood.

Yelp
I booked a room of 409 sq ft, but it is small. I booked two queen-sized beds but got two full-sized beds instead ( I have two queen-sized beds at home so that I can do a comparison). I did not realize it until bedtime, so I did not ask for a change of room. The mattress was uncomfortable and lopsided toward the middle, so I did not sleep well.

Yelp
I'm so glad I found this gem last minute! Originally I had booked another hotel in LA but it didn't turn out as expected (pictures online were decieving.) Upon our arrival we found a hotel that was extremely outdated. The rooms, building, and elevators were just not it (I will posting a review on that hotel!) Anywho we immediately searched for another hotel to stay at and found Sheraton San Gabriel! Let me tell you I'm extremely happy we did!! The area Sheraton San Gabriel is located I felt safe. The hotel has a garage and there's a fee you pay, which I didn't mind. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Super clean and well kept. They have a Starbucks and Japanese steakhouse in the same building. The lobby decor is very exquisite. From the lobby to the elevators and rooms it smells and looks clean. If you are in the area I definitely recommend it! This is by far my favorite hotel I have stayed at ever! Thank you Sheraton for such a GREAT experience!

Yelp
Located in a busy Asian neighborhood, this is a beautiful, clean, and fancy hotel. I attended a wedding here, and also stayed here for about a month last fall. Wedding - Guests are given a special parking rate of $5. Because this was a Chinese wedding, the food was served family style. The only weird part was that as soon as the servers placed a dish on the table, they returned shortly after to take it away, even if there was still food on the plate. Then they would bring the next course. It felt rushed. Hotel Front Desk Ivan and John are the absolute best. Both are the nicest people ever, and make you feel like you're old friends. They were extremely empathic whenever a situation arose, took care of my questions quickly, and always with a smile. Thank you guys for all your help! Hotel room The best part of the room is the waterfall shower. Trust me on this. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. At the time of my stay, I had to request housekeeping at least 24 hours in advance at the front desk. Parking There's garage parking at $15/night. Club lounge You will need your room key to enter. Available all day are an espresso machine, water, Pepsi brand sodas, and snacks like peanuts, trail mix bars, and fruit (banana or apple). Breakfast is served at set times in the mornings. In the evenings, there used to be happy hour appetizers but due to covid, this perk was paused. Lounge Breakfast Mark is courteous and kind, he always made me feel welcomed. Ling was nice at first, but after a couple weeks, she seemed bothered that I was still there. During my stay, the staff was required to serve the food. There was always one protein (turkey sausage, bacon, chorizo sausage, vegetarian sausage) and scrambled eggs for hot items. In addition to the hot foods, you can ask for a small plate of fruit, breads, and pastries. Breakfast was fairly routine and after a few weeks, they started offering hard boiled eggs, served less portion of hot foods, and bagels were no longer available. Per Ling, management only allowed one egg per guest, provided a small amount of food to serve all club guests so everyone gets less, and no more bagels for guests. I found out about the last one when I was scolded for asking for a bagel even though I had one the day before. So if you're only staying here for a short time, the service from ALL staff will be friendly, but don't overstay your (already paid for) welcome. Being a titanium member during covid times at this hotel wasn't all that great. And there was no compensation for the lack of usual perks. At check in, the only option was 1000 points, which aren't worth much. The restaurant was closed for the buffet breakfast, which would normally be a check-in option. To make it up, the hotel said the breakfast buffet would be in the club lounge in the mornings, except that one of the staff would guard the food. I still give this hotel 5 stars because it was a great experience overall. I understand the hardships of the pandemic, but also wish it could have been made up for in some way. It is what it is. Thanks for taking care of me!

Yelp
This is a nice hotel, especially if you don't experience any issues. I got lost in the parking a couple of times because the signs aren't the best. I got the Junior Suite to stay at for one night before my wedding. My reservation also came with access to their Clubhouse Lounge which has free breakfast and drinks throughout the day. The issue I had while staying at the hotel was my parking pass didn't work, the hotel key would stopped working randomly and I almost shock myself when I tried to adjust the lamp near the TV. The lamp was too high so when I tried to lower it, I saw sparks come out so I unplugged it and didn't turn it back on. I really like their robot luggage carrier and also their robot towel roller. It was nice to see when I was walking on my floor, other people say that it freaks them out.

Yelp
Second time visiting the hotel. First time for a banquet in the balllroom and this second time for a meeting in one of their small conference rooms just off the lobby bathrooms. Really confusing as the entrance door was unmarked. Afterwards went to Omaniku restaurant. Parking is confusing and expensive, $15 with validation for the SGV.

Yelp
This is our favorite place to stay when we come to SoCal. The experience begins as you walk into the lobby and you are greeted with a wonderful scent, the staff is friendly and attentive and try their best to accommodate our requests. We always have a good experience when we are here and they have some of the best pillows! There are a few things I wish they would add that would make this place a 10 for me. I wish they had microwaves in the rooms (at least the suites) or at the very least in the club lounge so I wouldn't have to go ALL the way to the lobby yo warm up my food. Another thing I would like to see are some veggie protein or turkey/chicken options in the club lounge for breakfast as everyone doesn't eat pork and beef. And lastly I think their should be TVs in the bathrooms that have tubs so guests can enjoy a movie or show while relaxing in the tub. All in all it is a great place to stay the staff does a good job of keeping the property clean and the staff is helpful and friendly whether it be the housekeepers, the lounge/bar staff, bell hops or front desk staff. As Ambassador Elite members they do a good job of making you feel valued and have a gift at the dest or even brought to the room during our stay and that is a wonderful touch

Yelp
The hotel is one of the best in the SGV. Although it's not as good as Asia hotels, they seem to have wanted to emulate them. Members have access to a nice club room that serves breakfast buffets. Probably the best part of the hotel is the entrance and grand foyer. There's a bar/lounge with plenty of seats. In the back, the dining hall doesn't seem to be open, and the restaurant only serves dinner. I loved the rooms, they were so clean and the suite was so big and comfortable. I have a theory why there aren't many nice hotels on the west coast : most people have big houses, so they don't need luxury hotels.

Yelp
The Sheraton San Gabriel is an elegant hotel that uses its beauty and modern-day technology to provide a superb experience. Immediately, as you walk in you will be mesmerized by the crystal chandelier and high-end decor! It's beautiful from top to bottom and keeps your eyes occupied. The hotel bar and business area are located in the lobby and you will also find a variety of lounge areas that are furnished differently. This is perfect to take IG photos or just sip your coffee near an indoor fireplace. Besides the beautiful aesthetics of the hotel, it has some of the best amenities. A gym with state-of-the-art equipment and a beautiful courtyard with an outdoor heated pool! It's fantastic and provides some of the best relaxation options. The room continues the luxurious theme and is equipped with an office, mini-fridge, teapot, coffee maker that brews Starbucks coffee. The marble bathroom was elegant and had a dual shower head that added an extra touch of relaxation. One of the coolest things at the Sheraton San Gabriel is the robot concierge! They check your luggage in and out and you will see them roaming around keeping the hotel clean. I enjoyed the location it was walking to local supermarkets and restaurants. It was about a 30-minute drive to Los Angeles in about an hour's drive to Santa Monica. Parking was a $15 charge per night within and out privileges making it sustainable for a week stay. Due to COVID 19 housekeeping was unavailable which was not my favorite but I respect the safety protocol they are taking. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay and I recommend it if you are looking for relaxation and a luxurious stay!

Yelp
I was in this hotel (room #546 ) last weekend for 2 nite. the first nite is ok, but the second nite I got 9 bug bite on my arm. I told and show the lady who do the cleaning that there is bug bite in the bed. her reaction is NO WAY

Yelp
Wow! I never leave reviews for hotels while I travel but I had to mention the Sheraton. As a Bonvoy member I have stayed at multiple brands and this one can live up to some of the 5 starts out there. Start off by the friendly parking attendants and then greeted by the front desk agents. I was lucky enough to get a young gentleman with glasses..wish I looked at his name. 5 star service and beyond friendly. Very clean and well manicured grounds. My biggest enjoyment is when u go to your room, beautiful rooms with even better amenities in the bathroom and shower. Enjoyed the brand of lotion and shampoos. Will definitely return.

Yelp
I have lived in the SGV since childhood and have driven past this hotel many times while going out to eat or grab boba, but never thought I'd host my wedding reception here. In checking out venues, my now-husband wanted to upscale things a little more than your typical Chinese wedding banquet at a restaurant, so we looked into a few hotels in the local area. What stood out to us about the Sheraton was the hospitality we received and the feeling of being welcomed, it didn't hurt that the hotel itself looks glamorous with their high ceilings and decor. One of the big selling points, because of their clientele, is that they could provide the 10-course banquet within the hotel itself. This meant that we wouldn't have to worry about catering or trying to bring another catering company on-site to provide the meal for our guests and vendors. My only critique was that we had to sign our contract prior to the tasting, so we had to trust that the food was good, which it was. I had some faith as the food would be provided by Opal, their in-house restaurant, that my maid of honor had great reviews about. Some staff we would like to shout-out are Raquel Lucas, Conrad, and Arturo. Raquel and Mylene had been with us at the beginning when we were just scouting out venues, they were and continued to be very transparent; they encouraged us to look at other venues to make sure we wanted to have it at Sheraton, which we did. Conrad greeted us at the tasting and wanted to ensure us that the flow of service the night-of would be seamless. While we have never met Arturo, the banquet captain, our wedding planner, Dee, assured us that one of the reasons why our dinner would be seamless is because of him and his staff; so we would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you!

Yelp
I hosted my birthday party at Sheraton Los Angeles San Gabriel, and I cannot express how delighted I am with the extraordinary experience my family and friends and I had at this remarkable venue. The level of personalized service and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. The event space provided by Sheraton Los Angeles San Gabriel was nothing short of exceptional. The elegant and spacious setting created the perfect ambiance for our celebration. It was tastefully decorated and meticulously arranged according to our preferences, showcasing the hotel's commitment to creating a magical atmosphere for special occasions. The culinary team crafted a delectable menu that catered to all dietary preferences and tastes. The quality and presentation of the food were remarkable, and our guests raved about the delicious dishes throughout the evening. The staff ensured that all our needs were met promptly and graciously, adding an extra touch of excellence to the overall dining experience. Furthermore, the accommodations at Sheraton Los Angeles San Gabriel were exceptional. The rooms were spacious, luxurious, and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay for our out-of-town guests. The hotel amenities, such as the fitness center and pool, added an extra layer of enjoyment to our overall experience. I would highly recommend Sheraton Los Angeles San Gabriel to anyone looking for a memorable and unforgettable event experience.
