My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton Reston on the first night of our honeymoon. The accommodations were clean and modern. Jaspal at the bar took great care of us and was lovely to talk to. Would recommend!

Stayed in the Reston Sheraton for a short business trip. Room and general conditions of the hotel were as would be expected from a Marriott property. Their wifi approach of charging is very dated. Even as a Bonvoy member, it was a hassle to get access w/o paying. I ate at the restaurant two nights and the food, just light snacks/sandwich, was very good. Service from Noe was excellent. Very attentive and always there when I needed anything. He really did a great job making solo travel dinner more comfortable.

This is a dates structure, with refreshed lobby, restaurant and lounge areas.|PROs: very nice courtyard, conference venue for small events (rather low ceiling)|CONs: absurdly cold lobby and mezzanine restaurant - unclear whether they were having problems or, as I was told, this is how it is in winter time.|I was very unlucky with the restaurant. I waited for long time my food and received my started that was supposed to be warm at room-temperature. It was delivered at the same time of a slightly warm but dried-out Filet Mignon: it was medium-rare, but absolutely dry. |Conclusion: I had an unpleasant stay, but room cleanliness, freshness and conference area are nice as you'd expect from a renovated hotel.

Home Away from Home! My husband and I have been loyal to this hotel for more than 15 years—both for business and vacation—and it truly feels like our second home. The staff are always so pleasant and welcoming. From the friendly smiles at the front desk with Peter and Wintana, to the wonderful service in the restaurant from Brigette, Karen, and Kaitlyn, and the excellent care from Ingrid in housekeeping—every stay is exceptional. We can’t emphasize enough how happy we are each time we visit, and we can’t wait to come back!

I visited the Sheraton Reston on business late Sep 2025. From check-in thru check-out, the service was exceptional! The front desk staff were knowledgeable and professional, yet very friendly. My room, which had a couple of small issues, was expertly cleaned by Adriana every day. I couldn’t have asked for a better service to my room. By far, my favorite staff member was the bartender, Noe. He was quick to attend to all customers, both at the bar and out on the floor, and seemed to be just as quick with drink and food delivery. He was friendly and welcoming, making one feel like this was your favorite neighborhood bar. One night, I accidentally left without closing my tab. Noe not only safeguarded my credit card, which he delivered to the front desk, but when I swung by to thank him the next evening he remembered me and, before I could say a word, he quickly asked if I had recovered my card. I don’t usually eat at the hotel bar, preferring to find small local establishments. Noe guaranteed that I visited the bar all three nights I was in town. Well done!

During my recent stay at the Sheraton in Reston, I had the pleasure of being served by Jaspal at the hotel bar — and he truly made my experience exceptional. From the moment I sat down, he was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He took the time to remember my preferences, made great recommendations, and provided top-notch service every single visit.||It’s rare to encounter someone who balances professionalism and warmth so effortlessly. Jaspal’s hospitality is a standout example of what great service should be — he deserves to be recognized for going above and beyond.||I’ll definitely be returning, and it’s because of people like Jaspal who make guests feel valued and at home.||— Jeremy S.

Google
Noe in the restaurant was very accommodating & has excellent customer service skills. Maintenance (Junior) had to come to our room twice because the tv & phone weren’t working (couldn’t reach the front desk) & the door was extremely hard to open. He was wonderful. Other staff do need basic customer service training. Which is the fault of management, IMHO. Positive enough experience though to return. Great location.

Google
The water pressure is horrible in the showers. The front desk and engineer Junior found me a room with adequate water pressure. Thanks. Now the staff in the Club Lounge was rude. Won't book this location again with the rude staff in the lounge. Now, since I wrote the review. The hotel reached out with genuine concern to fix the issues. Upgraded their star accordingly.

Yelp
This was the first time staying at this hotel and it did not disappoint. They went above and beyond to accommodate my stay.. There was plenty of hot water and the room was nice and quiet. Staff was pleasant and genuinely seemed to care that I had a good stay.I would not hesitate to stay there again.. Also, the shuttle drivers were great!!Thank you Sheraton for a beautiful stay!!
google avatar

April L.

Yelp
Love this Sheraton! Rooms are beautiful and beds are comfortable. Close to Reston Town Center and they offer shuttle service to Metro station. Shout out to my shuttle driver Harris. He got me back to the hotel safely. The entire staff is very friendly. The club lounge breakfast was great. Love the espresso coffee machine too! Great location!

Yelp
Came here to stay for work for an evening... Seem to recall staying here a few years ago also. It looks like the rooms were updated since my last visit. The room was comfy and really nicely decorated. The common areas in the halls on the 6th floor and the majority of the 2nd floor, where the restaurant was were not air conditioned, something appeared to be wrong with the AC system. The AC in my room was great though. Shower worked great too. In all, not a bad visit - I'd return.

Yelp
Okay, so nothing negative to say about the rooms or hotel in general. But the food ... not good. I did only have the French Onion Soup and a flat bread pizza. The soup was way too salty. I think it might have been Campbell's French Onion soup. Just didn't have a lot of onion or beef flavor. The FB pizza was even worse. It was way undercooked, too salty, and tasted like jar pizza sauce. It was also cold. Maybe the 50 mins it took to bring it to my room didn't help (albeit, ordered through the Marriott app), I really don't think it would have made too much of a difference if it were served to me right out of the oven.

Yelp
Recently remodeled. Contemporary decor. Room was comfortable and roomy. Loved the huge bathroom counter. Restaurant/bar was one place I did try and the food was good . I had the salmon with brussel sprouts and broccolini. Was here for a work event and all there seemed to go smoothly. Adding some pics so you can see what at least the room I was in looked like.

Yelp
The signage for parking could be much better. I parked in the back far from the check in desk because I was following the parking signs. The hotel entrance isn't obvious when driving up to the complex because there are so many business in the parking lot. The lighting in the parking lot was not bright enough. The prices at the restaurant were a bit too high for me. I'd rather go out and get a good meal then pay $60+ for hotel dinner. The room was nice. I liked the lighting and the plugs on the side of the bed were great! They also made it easy to use a fire stick with the tv. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure was barely enough to shower. I wouldn't stay here again because of it. If the shower pressure was improved I'd be at a 3.5-4 star rating. They have a shuttle that seemed helpful for guests. I didn't use it. The gym is well appointed. The elevators were a little slow.
google avatar

Jimmy S.

Yelp
Very clean and inviting hotel. Seems to have had a recent update. The staff was very friendly and everything was crisp and clean. The elevators were all working but even if they were not both working, I would not ding the hotel, as I realize they rely on parts and maintenance to show up to make everything work smoothly and sometimes that is out of your control.

Yelp
I stayed at this hotel for an event. The space for the event worked well for us. The bar on the second floor is an enjoyable place to meet for food and drink. The hotel staff with whom we interacted on a day-to-day basis did a fine job. The bed was comfortable. There's a big exercise room. Those were the good parts. When I say "day to day hotel staff," I mean folks like those who work at the front desk, maid service, the bartenders and servers, the concierges, etc.. It does not include management and sales. I did not have to work with these people for the event, thank goodness, but I know the people who did, and they were not happy. As you might expect, extracting profit was a big goal. Whoever is responsible for information given you about the hotel, be it corporate, hotel ownership/management, etc.., you might want to consider actually assigning someone to go through all the information you provide on websites, on the messages you can view on your TV, etc.. There are still numerous references to a concierge suite - which no longer exists. This being part of the Marriott family, you continue to get an annoying "message waiting" light flashing on your phone every day in which you do not request maid service, even though maid service has policies have changed during Covid times. There are also references to your available breakfast in the "restaurant" - that is actually a section of the bar at which you can be served, and your breakfast is merely an assortment of continental-style items. While the bed was comfortable, the pillows were way too soft. They were nice on which to sleep the first night, but flat subsequently, as if they need to be re-fluffed on a regular basis. The biggest surprise was a lack of a light switch next to the door when entering the room. So if I had forgotten to leave a light on when exiting, I might be entering the room at night into the dark? I've never been to a hotel where there wasn't a light switch near the door. Were this a home, that would have been an immediate building code violation. I'd certainly come back here if events I wanted to attend were held here again, otherwise probably not.

Yelp
Below average Sheraton, did not have a very good experience. The restaurant area on a Wednesday night was operated by one bartender, I am talking about a restaurant that would easily sit 40+. At least 15 people were there, thats right the only bartender was manning and bar, also taking orders for food and cleaning up the tables. The cashiers that runs the breakfast wasn't too friendly either. Coworker booked the hotel room, used my credit card during check in, however didn't charge mine and had to follow up to make sure is charged on my CC for work expense reasons. The front desk employees were friendly, however it was inconvenient. Room was decent, won't be staying here again.

Yelp
Good hotel rooms, they have TLC on the tv but the beds are a little tight. BE WARNED THEY ARE FULL NOT QUEEN. The bathroom door does not lock so if you are with groups it can be a bit strange. The breakfast we had provided by the hotel is TERRIBLE you are better off at McDonald's than eating this awful food.

Yelp
Stayed here this past week. Nice staff. Coffee and snacks upstairs that I missed the first day. Platform beds were comfy, simple design. Long hallways for some might be an issue but if you are looking for a few extra steps in your day it is just fine. Centrally located- just an uber away from Reston Plaza and all the eats.

Yelp
Run from this place! I stayed here for a full week. This is a 6 floor hotel with only one operating elevator so naturally waiting for an elevator became a full event and you had to add an additional 5 to 10 minute expectation wait time just to wait for the elevator. Again, I stayed here from Monday through Friday! The second elevator did not get fixed!? Additionally, one morning I ordered breakfast from my phone in order to try to save some time. I ordered a simple biscuit egg, bacon and cheese sandwich from the app. The picture reflects what I got. Not only was it not ready by the time I got downstairs 45 minutes later, but this is what I got!? A service station has better sandwiches and service at a far cheaper price than this bogus Marriott family hotel. The bartenders are rude and there are literally no choices for food or snacks after hours unless you walk next-door to the Westin. Overall, other than the front desk, the staff seems overworked and have really bad attitudes. Trust me, this is no compliment to the front desk staff because they were not helpful other than checking me in and taking my payment. This hotel gets no second chance from me, I will definitely never stay here again.

Yelp
Absolutely no recognition for elite members. The club lounge is still under "renovation" and they don't offer the benefits normal for elite members. No free breakfast or evening snacks, water, etc. And they are unapologetic about it, essentially saying too bad. And when the internet works, it is dial up speed, but down more than available. And since there is no club lounge, breakfast is in the main dining room, but a limited menu and you have to stand in an incredibly long line managed by one person to even order. And the basics, like napkins and silverware have to be asked for, not available. Also in the room the table that doubles as a desk is in front of the room AC that blasts clod air. So good luck trying to use the table to work or eat. You will be frozen out.

Sharon P.

Yelp
Although rooms are clean the lobby and gym have no air conditioning. This is not acceptable when it's 98 degrees outside.

Yelp
This is a solid enough hotel. You'll be happy to stay there and the pricing is very fair. Just a few things that could be improved but aren't showstoppers. Positives: The rooms are spacious and well appointed, and the quality of the soaps is substantially improved from recent years, which is helpful to your skin in the winter months. The shuttle to nearby offices and the metro is wonderful and really makes things convenient when staying or working in the area. Nearby Reston town center has a lot of great dining options. They had a managers reception the night I got in, which I was unable to attend but it sounded like a nice event and a great gesture. There's nothing major to say as a negative, but a couple of things to note for the frequent traveler: - the room heaters are quite loud and it could keep a light sleeper up at night. - also for some reason they weren't replacing the body wash in the shower even when empty. - finally, I'd recommend to management investment in better bath towels as they were undersized and not soft.

Yelp
I obviously did not look at the web site closely enough because I had absolutely no understanding that this hotel had a bar. If I was still a raging alcoholic, this obviously would have persuaded me to book here beyond the reasonable deal I was getting through Hotels.com. I was also impressed by the size and decor. There's a large, comfortable space downstairs for people to congregate and work or meet and talk business or pleasure and lots of places to lounge. My husband was pleased by the area around the check-in desk they call "Cravings" which offers candy bars and snacks (and other extras) for a charge. They had Kind Bars, which I'm crazy about. I had to keep reminding my husband that nothing there was free. They had real half and half in the refrigerator which is extremely meaningful to a coffee snob who drinks six cups in the morning. The man at the desk was very pleasant and helpful. The room was nice, but we were disappointed that it didn't have a refrigerator, since my husband insists on bringing a case of beer any time we stay anywhere (see raging alcoholic reference...they come in pairs...). They did have complimentary water on either side of a $5 bottle of larger water, which for whatever reason, I found hilarious. I was siked to find Tazo Earl Grey tea in the room along with Starbucks. I drank all the tea and the decaf that night because neither my husband nor I will allow to let anything go to waste. We were raised poor. Speaking of that, when we entered the room, the TV was on, and I just assumed the house keeping had narrowly escaped being caught watching her programs. Upon further inspection, I noted that they had a personalized "welcome" message on the screen, which I guess means they turn the TV on for you when you enter the room, which was super fancy, in my opinion. They also had Netflix which made my night, since I'm usually up late working and watching "Breaking Bad" for the sixteenth time. My husband is now begging me for a smart TV. When I finally went to bed, it was a comfortable rest although I found the thermostat a little flukey. I would get cold, then get too hot. I'm dead to the world when asleep however, so no big deal to me. The catch was this--there was no hot water. Not even warm. I noticed it when I washed my face that night, but in the morning my husband was yelling from the shower, so that's when I knew it wasn't just a glitch. Had it just been me, I wouldn't have noticed, since I hate bathing and only take showers when absolutely needed (when someone can smell me more than a few feet away). He wasn't that happy though, and we called the front desk. They sent someone up but it wasn't fixed by the time we left. They offered us free breakfast (you'd have to actually pay me to eat breakfast) or Marriott points, but I took a Facebook survey and 95% of the people who commented said they should have comped our room or at least given us some of the money back. But most of my Facebook friends have higher standards than I do, so there's that.

Yelp
Had a wonderful weekend staying at this recently renovated Sheraton Hotel . The price was right and the services were first rate. Room service came quickly. I will be back when I need to be in the DC area again

Matt B.

Yelp
Room was noisy. Could hear outside traffic easily. Bed was not comfortable. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The hotel bar has a 2500% markup on the cost of its liquor. I would not recommend.

Matthew B.

Yelp
Absolute garbage hotel staff and management. A legitimate room issue was treated with rudeness and hostility. Stay ANYWHERE else. Avoid this mess.

Charles P.

Yelp
Very well-renovated hotel - what a change to finally have a high-class property in Reston. Very quiet and pleasant neighborhood but close to everything. The bar/restaurant is very trendy, it feels like you are in a luxury property.

Yelp
I was in a tour group with.. hmm... 74 PEOPLE. We arrived at the hotel around 9:00, and we went to check in everyone. We got to the front desk, and they FORGOT to put in our reservations. They guys excuse was " I was gonna do it, but I forgot " we we're furious, and that was an understatement. We were in the parking lot for about 1:20 minutes, and they didn't even make an effort to help. In the end, we had everything worked out, but they found a solution in a 1 bed, 1 bath, and 6 girls. We also got weird phone calls, every half an hour the phone would ring saying it's the front desk, and when we would answer they would say "just checking" and hang up. In the morning, they didn't make us breakfast. Our tour was scheduled to leave at 8:30, because we have an appointment at the Arlington cemetery, and we didn't even have food until 8:45. At least the room was clean. Awful service.

Diana B.

Yelp
TERRIBLE. NEVER BOOK HERE. if there was a way to give zero stars I would. The manager might have been the rudest man child I've ever met. Also the hotel smells so bad literally never stay there
google avatar

Yelp
I'm a Platinum member with Starwood and I have stayed here for weeks. The front desk employees are some of the best I've ever encountered. Teresa is awesome. If you're reading this, "Hi Teresa!" Since Sheraton and Westin are adjacent, they share their shuttle buses. Why should you care? This means the buses run on-time, they run frequently, and they get you to your destination faster by grouping the destinations run on their 2-3 buses. Though the Westin is a higher end hotel in the Starwood chain, I prefer the Sheraton for their layout, friendly front desk, and recent renovation. The biggest con is the parking. If you get here after say 7-9pm, you might have to look for parking in the back lots.

Lara K.

Yelp
I had a wonderful stay. My room was lovely and super clean. The staff was friendly and this hotel exceeded my expectations. Everything was very comfortable and fresh. This hotel feels more luxury line. I had terrific food at the restaurant and the bar staff was friendly and helpful. I tried a new cocktail. The mattress was perfect, I want it at home. My shower was great. Food and staff were all wonderful. I'll be back again and again. Very happy stay. I very strongly recommend this Sheraton. Five stars all around.

Yelp
Had a horrible experience at this hotel. I stayed here for the first time as part of work travel, never again making the same mistake. In the morning around 7:30 am there was a loud banging at my door, next thing I heard was someone tried to force open the door. Luckily I had bolted the latch on the inside so the door couldn't be opened all the way. This was a horrible surprise, I yelled "Who is it?" to which there was no answer. This was really scary and when I told the front desk reception about it first they dismissed the incident, then when I told them that I will escalate this experience they looked into it and found our the one of the housekeeper "accidentally" came to the wrong room. How come housekeeper not announce "Housekeeping" and accidentally coming to wrong room, don't they have a checklist for this purpose instead of abruptly waking customers up early in the morning. Avoid this hotel, not only the service is horrible, the amenities for the price was poor and management is totally unhelpful.
google avatar

Mike T.

Yelp
It's a dump. Far below the standard of any Marriott brand, and surprisingly bad for what was once the "standard" hotel for the Starwood group. Front desk staff could barely be bothered to help, and even their check in "policies" do not comport with the Bonvoy standards. It makes no sense to do a mobile check-in if I have to repeat all the steps once I arrive. The room leaves a TON to be desired. Moldy shower fixtures, furniture that would have been considered "vintage" or "classic" in the 90s (which is when, I'm pretty sure, they bought it), a lampshade that emits more light through its cracks than it does anywhere else and a bathroom that's barely big enough to turn around in... glad I wasn't sharing the room! The closet is miniscule and unlighted, meaning you have to bring your clothing out to hold up to a light to make sure you're grabbing your charcoal slacks not your navy slacks. In any case a miserable disappointment from Marriott. They should put this property at the top of the renovation or retirement list.
google avatar

Ted J.

Yelp
I slept great. I like that they give you points if you decide not to have your room cleaned. I also liked that they had non-valet parking available. The staff was very professional and the lobby was accessible and relatively quiet. There's also a gas station in walking distance that has a little shop if you don't want to pay the high price for convenience at the Sheraton store.

Yelp
We just finished a weekend long stay at this hotel, using the facilities extensively. The event sales staff was excellent. The property mangers were always available. We loved the ballroom and meeting room spaces. The hotel offers a wonderful breakfast buffet. Our lunches were tasty and delicious. The bartender was great, always a good pour and very friendly. The rooms were very up to date and recently renovated. Comfortable. Attractive and spacious. The location to Reston Town Center and in northern Virginia in general was super convenient. All in all, a 5-star stay. Highly recommend.

Yelp
it's a little shabby considering how much I paid. I got a monday to thurs stay with the prepaid rate which was still pricey..$155. Reston is an edge city so the hotel rates double during the week....weekend rates are half that. the hotel tries to be posh but is very rough around the edges. corners are worn/rundown and the sheraton insignia on top at the hotel is marred by the same carelessness. Man, the westin is right next door and much better kept up. I wish I would have paid a little bit more and stayed there. Sometimes it is the same price! Next time I will stay there. My bathroom at home is nicer than the bathrooms here...sad considering the first thing I like to do when staying at a nice hotel is take a bubble bath and I had no desire to do that here. Also, something at the hotel (my husband said it was a pump) made this very odd grunting noise during the day and part of the night....it was distracting and funny. The room was nice and the bed soft and had a ok view and lots of light BUT they could have done so much more with that like make the balcony nice and enjoyable....instead they sealed it off and left it in disrepair with peeling paint. There was an actual hole between the concrete wall dividers on the "balcony" and when a leaf would blow by I swear to God I thought it was a mouse on more than one occasion. I rarely take pictures but I did of this place because I couldn't believe it. the internet was decent. I did the green choice which was a 5 dollar voucher in lieu of housekeeping...but it didn't buy that much at the snack bar. I mostly ate at Reston Town center and parked at the back of the hotel. There's a popeyes and Reston Kabob hidden in the back too as well as a chili's. the former was very good and affordable. I left my chicken box discards in the hallway for housekeeping to pick up since I did the green choice. I didn't feel too bad. I saw lots of people do the same with their room service trays. Hubby said the pool was basic but did the trick. Overall we had a nice stay...it did the trick for a relaxing short vacay but there were some glaring abnormalities considering the price.

Yelp
The close of a 14 hour workday probably isn't the wisest time to vent but here it is anyway: we have really enjoyed this hotel in the past. But coming in late after having no dinner and working nonstop all day is NOT a good time to have the only hot "food" available in their market be sausage/egg/cheese biscuits from the same stocker as 7-Eleven. Rep at the desk informed me they stocked those instead of microwaveable meals due to the quick spoiling of other choices. I settled anyway and bit into their biscuit to come away with a huge mouthful of black and green MOLD. Lucky for housekeeping I did not puke on the table but it's not because it wasn't a close call. Nasir at the desk was gracious and helpful in refunding my food purchase and listening to me vent. Even so: Sheraton, do better!!
google avatar

Yelp
Very dated hotel. LONG hike to the elevator. Buffet was average, should be much better. Pool not heated. Room service menu limited. No fridge. No microwave. Bathroom the same size as a motel room. Staff was nice. Shuttle helped me out when my Uber bailed and I needed to get to a meeting, raising my review from 2 to 3 stars.

Diane P.

Yelp
I was going to the Virginia Spine Institite next door, and the Uber left me off at the Sheraton. The floor staff went over and above in helping me. They got their little shuttle bus thing and drove us up the hill and around the parking lot to the enteance of the Institute. We were not staying at the hotel, or even potential guests, but they went out of their way to help me. If I need lodging in the area again I would definitely book with the Sheraton Reston. There are not enough nice things i can say about them.

Yelp
Stayed here this past weekend for a women's retreat. COMFY bed, good sized room. My major complaint was about the shower head (I stayed in room 317). The shower head leaked badly, no matter how many times I tried to adjust it or the water, it was spewing all over. I ended up jumping in the shower to quickly bathe and by the time I got out (10 minutes) the entire floor looked like there was a flood. Shrugged and thought, "sucks to be the housekeeper". The facilities were adequate andI was happy that my money was well spent. Would stay here again.

Yelp
I stayed at this hotel for the first time with a group of coworkers due to the snow storm that was going to hit our area on March 13, 2017. At check in I was asked for my credit card just for incidentals and that I was not going to be charged for anything else. Come to find out they don't tell you but they put a 60 dollar hold on your account. My room was paid for by the company for two night. March 14th was my check out date at 4pm. After the first night I left for work early in the morning and returned to my room later on that day to find out that housekeeping was cleaning the room thinking that I had checked out of the room. When I told housekeeping that I was still staying in this room she took her vacuum and everything else and stopped making the bed left everything as is and left the room. Long story short I have now been charged almost two hundred dollars because the hotel messed up my credit card with my companies credit card even though I pointed out that my credit card at the time of check out had a sixty dollar hold and another 118 dollar hold. This is beyond frustrating and I cannot believe I have to go through this whole process because I was told I had to give a credit card for incidentals only in either to stay at this hotel not to mention my coworkers did not have to do the same at our stay at the Sheraton. I have emailed the hotel with all the information after driving there and talking to the manager in person and have not heard back from anyone. I was told by Ms.Patel that they would take care of this mistake immediately and get back to me but yet it has been over a week now. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you want a headache. I have never experienced so much inconvenience, unprofessionalism and given false information at any of my stays with any other hotels.

Yelp
The rooms are a decent size but not quite up to date. I struggle to call this a 3 star hotel but it's definitely not 2 star. When I stayed there, They had a promotion where they awarded you $5 voucher towards food or 500 SPg points for every night that you don't get your linen changed. I was able to use my voucher in their convenient store to purchase items that I forgot to pack. (Or candy) What concerns me most is how unorganized the cleaning staff is. Upon checkout, I left a dress in the closet in my room. I realized once I returned home and called the hotel to inquire about them putting it aside. It took two days for the head of the housing staff to call me back and when I gave her my room number and dress description she stated they did not have it in their possession. I am not tripping over the dress but I would have liked to have my phone call returned in a timely manner. Maybe the dress would have been found on the day of versus 48 hours later. There is definitely room for improvement on customer service.

Yelp
The rooms were okay. The hotel was stunning in the lobby, but rooms were just mediocre. The one thing that my husband and I can't complain about and often utilize is their airport parking. It is normally the cheapest, has plenty of room as it is in a garage. They also have a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes. Side note: thought it was strange that I reserved a room with 1 King bed, but concierge said I asked for a room with 2 doubles. So here we (my s/o and I) are looking like we sleep in separate beds. Lol Oh and the Internet didn't work in our room. :/

Yelp
No reason to update - in fact even worse. I wouldn't stay here but for the organization who is hosting a meeting in their office "nearby". I arrived at the Reston metro shortly before noon on a weekday, called to hotel to inquire about the shuttle and was told that there wasn't a shuttle till the evening. This is cockamamie. The hotel is less than 1.5 miles away (according to my $7.50 Uber receipt).

Yelp
I stay at this hotel all the time for conventions in Reston despite the fact I live in DC. The hotel has made a lot of improvement in the last few months, but the staff is why I stay here. They're always excellent. Good value hotel which a great pool.

Yelp
I'm just recently moved out of my condo in Reston and needed to stay somewhere for the night before moving into my new place. The hotel looked pretty nice so I decided to give it a try. It was the most uncomfortable night of sleep that I have ever had! Actually I didn't sleep at all! The comforter and especially the pillows were made of overly used cheap down feathers which didn't breathe and actually made my face sweat! The walls were pretty thin too... I could hear EVERYTHING in the next room! Everything! The room however was nice though. The bathrooms were clean and the staff was very nice.

Yelp
Well the main reason we chose to stay here is because I came to VA for one purpose. My cousin was getting married and the reception was here. Yeah it's close to IAD so if you fly in to Washington, Dulles Airport the Reston Sheraton is a good option for you. But make sure they know you're coming because the shuttle is a hit or miss. It's bad enough they make you ride on a short bus, but then to leave you stranded makes you feel even worse. Thank goodness we didn't arrive in the morning in the dead of winter. For me, staying at the Sheraton Reston Hotel was kinda like ... well, being in a strip club and you get a dance from the first stripper that says hi. You know there's other options out there but you chose her out of convenience because yeah ... she came to you. Yeah like that. Oh and the hotel has decent sized rooms, a restaurant, a bar with a pool table, swimming pool, business center with computers and free internet.

Yelp
This Sheraton is conveniently located very close to Dulles Airport. The lobby area is a large and open, which makes waiting for your party to check-in not so bad. The hotel isn't very large and expansive with 10s of floors, but it's nice. I don't have any complaints with the rooms- I've stayed in 3 and all were clean and comfortable. My only complaint is the parking lot! I'm from suburbia, where you only walk 10 feet out the door to get your car. When there are events here, parking is limited to the far spaces... and that's too far!

Yelp
Okay, so the reviews of the shuttle issues are true. I think this is partly the hotel's fault and partly Dulles Airports fault. The sign said hotel shuttles with an arrow, but apparently I was supposed to know that I should ignore the sign and go the other way. Silly. Me. So I saw the Sheraton shuttle drive by me and then I had to run with my bag to the other stop. The room was big and well appointed. The chicken caesar salad was good and they called me by my name when I called the front desk, which I think is a nice touch. Do not stay here and think you'll be close to DC. You should stay here if you want to be close to the airport. Period.

Yelp
Booked rooms 3 weeks ago, went to check in and we're told rooms are all booked. Blamed a system problem. Closest hotel they could book us was 20 minutes away. Instead found a local hotel within 3 miles. Highly recommend you confirm your reservations or they will sell your room to another customer even if you paid with CC 3 weeks earlier. Made no attempt to make things right.

Yelp
I am a huge fan of this hotel for one reason - On a trip when United Airlines couldn't physically get any worse (they lost my seat, my flight got delayed, I was pulled out of line at customer service and redirected to a desk with no one there, and I was rebooked on a flight nearly 24 hours later than my original flight), the Sheraton Reston was the silver lining. The hotel itself is your standard airport hotel - clean, nothing fancy. The woman at the main desk, though, made my day, when she gave me two free packets of toothpaste. She could have let me buy the small tube from the gift shop but, instead, went that extra mile. Thank you, thank you, thank you! The next time I get stranded in DC - which, I'm sure, won't be that far away - I'll request the Sheraton. They know how to treat stranded air travelers, since they get them all the time from United Airlines.

Yelp
In an expensive area, this hotel is fairly affordable for a national chain. Otherwise, you get what you pay for. A few of my highlights: * Arrival: When I arrived, I parked in the parking lot out front. After lugging my bags in and attempting to check in, I was told that I'd have to park in the back of the hotel because the front lot was closed for planned maintenance. Of course, it was terribly rainy and windy. When I went back out to move my car, I did see a few cones knocked over in the entrance to the lot saying "closed". Of course, no work occurred on the lot the next morning. * First Evening: At 3:30 AM, my room fire detector's backup battery started chirping. Had to take that apart to stop the noise. * Check Out Morning: Even though I had a "Do Not Disturb" tag on my door, housekeeping still decided to beat on my door as I was getting into the shower. I told them I'd be out in 20 minutes. A few minutes later, my in-room phone started ringing. I assumed it was them, I didn't answer. * Check Out: Couldn't get a paper copy of my charges, was told that I'd have to get that from "Expedia" (I used hotels.com). However, I was given a receipt for $13 in charges from the hotel bar that weren't mine. I disputed the charges and they were removed from my bill. Should have stayed at a Hilton.

Yelp
For the most basic purpose, this hotel does it's job. It has comfortable beds, easy to use in room Internet, and rooms that are pretty good sized. The locations leaves a lot to be desired, as it's just far enough not to walk to Reston Town Center where all the nearby shops and restaurants are. The shuttle reliability varies each time also, so I'd use it for leisure, but wouldn't depend on it. The shuttle to Dulles was dependable for my very early flight. The hotel itself is a bit dated, and with having few food choices at your fingertips, it was annoying that there was no refrigerator in the room so I couldn't have, for instance, milk for my cereal in the morning that I bought somewhere else (I'm sure that's the point) so I paid $4 for two small cartons of milk one morning. I also hate when hotels don't have bathroom fans, it make the rooms more humid during already humid DC summer months, and the Sheraton did not have any bathroom fans. The outdoor pool is great, and the workout room is nice also. Not a lot of equipment in the workout room, but enough for anyone who can plan their own workout. A few elliptical and treadmills, free weights, a bench and a few machines. It also had a big TV that was nice for working out. If I could choose again is stay at the Hyatt (they were full during this stay) for the location.
