Extraordinary wine merchant. Excellent service. Brendan the manager is world class. Wonderful inventory of splendid wines. Terrific staff. They often can acquire difficult-to-get wines.

They're knowledgeable and really helpful!! Been there multiple times and have consistently been recommended good and reasonably priced wine.

They always have one of the best selections of wine for all price ranges. And most the weekend events such as their wine tasting is absolutely great!

OK, a little on the pricey side though

Friendly and helpful staff. They carry mostly higher priced bottles but have wine in every price range. I found exactly what I wanted, a wine from St. Emilion, Grand Cru for around $30.

Snotty and unhelpful. Went in to ask if they had any canned wine which don't get me wrong I know this isn't the classiest wine but I needed it for a picnic. The attendant scoffed at me. Next time I came in I asked for a rec for natural wine. The guy had no clue. Soooo other than good location they have nothing going. No good recs, not great prices.

This boutique wine shop has obscure finds (I ended up here on a search for Vinsanto) & a helpful, knowledgable staff. A few items I have seen elsewhere were a little overpriced and others appeared to be cheaper online, but given the only local place I could find them, I'm not surprised. The shop also has fun wine enthusiast items if you're looking for a gift for a wine drinker. An overall pleasant experience, I'm sure we'll be back soon!

I loved this place! Sherlock's is located right off Northside near West Paces Ferry in a strip mall by Well's Fargo and Chick-Fil-A. The boyfriend and I were celebrating his last night in Atlanta and he'd been dying to try Jam Jar, a gimmicky (or so I thought) bottle of wine we'd seen. So, we're driving back to Mayretta from Buckhead and see Sherlock's and stop. Since I'd never heard of or seen this place, I wasn't expecting a little wine den/shop thing. It was a really nice surprise! The guy was super nice and polite and directed us to our $10 bottle of Jam Jar, which he informed us is actually from South Africa. I also wanted to get a grownup bottle of wine, so he recommended a nice French Cabernet for around $20. In my experience, when I go in little wine boutiques, they usually try to sell me $30 bottles, which is out of my little price range at the young age of 24. This guy was awesome. He gave us a brief synopsis of the difference between French Cabernet and what I usually buy, which are Cabs from California. We were in there no more than five minutes and were completely satisfied with our purchases.

The customer service is HORRENDOUS! Currently I am on medication that limits alcohol intake. I did a little research and found several brands of wine with low to no alcohol but the better ones are not sold in my grocery store. I went in to this wine specialty store near my home in Buckhead to try and find a decent bottle of non-alcoholic wine and they laughed in my face. Several of the employees made jokes about Welch's grape juice and had a good laugh at our expense while winking at each other. It made my husband and I very uncomfortable so we left NEVER TO RETURN. I guess they're too good for non-alcoholic wine.....and good customers.
