食宴兰州牛肉拉面 Shi Yan Lanzhou Beef Noodles

Absolutely amazing Lanzhou beef noodles! The broth is rich and authentic, noodles are perfectly chewy, and portions are generous. The staff are super friendly and always make you feel welcome. Great flavor, great value, and genuine service — easily one of the best noodle spots in Vancouver!

The food was excellent and service from the waitresses was very quick. I recommend the sizzling chili noodle (thick 10mm). The noodles had great texture and the seasoning was perfect. However, the food took quite a while to arrive. Likely due to the amount of takeouts.

I was surprised that I found the most authentic LanZhou dishes and best value of the food in this area. I ordered the Lanzhou Beef noodle. The soup is very tasty and flavorful. You can see how they made the noodle though glass wall of the kitchen. And they have a good portion, the noodles photo is halfway done noodles. As a spicy lover, I got super satisfied which their chili oil which is really authentic spicy 🌶️ and also smalls great 👍(other Lanzhou restaurants in Canada usually do not serve high level spicy oil because of localization). Be careful if you have a low spicy tolerance. For services: Their waiter is totally not trained to serve. He looks like a high school student and doesn’t know how to talk to people. Their service is unprofessional, but they are very nice! When I told them that they didn’t give me right noodles thickness level, they gives me options to replace the noodles or got discount for the noodles. After I told them it’s okay, the manager woman let me choose any side dish for FREE and told me that I could have it as a take out for tmr’s breakfast. And that how I got the yummy 14$ roasted beef rolls. If you are only looking for good food with a good value, don’t mind unprofessional service and do not care about environment, this is definitely a perfect place for you✨✨✨✨✨

Stumbled upon this new Chinese restaurant with an amazing menu, and with hand pulled noodles. They even have a window to the kitchen so you can see them hand pull the noodles. Crazy good food and very reasonably priced

Just had lunch there. They make their own noodles. I had sechuan beef noodles and it was very tasty. Portions are generous and its affordable

Really authentic and well done beef noodles! Staff is friendly and the noodles are done by hand so it does take a little time but definitely worth it if you're in the area. It does get lively, and although the place is a little cold, the noodle soup easily warmed us up and I can't wait to visit again.

Horrible , 90 percent noodles and nothing else :( For 16-18 dollars , no veggies or anything , oh sorry two things slices of daikon

The best beef noodles!! The noodles are made by hand, and there's a window you can look through to see the chef pulling the dough. Both the Szechuan Braised Beef Noodle Soup and the Spicy Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup are delicious, but I did prefer the Lanzhou one a little more. The cumin lamb noodles were also decent. The spicy chili wonton was ok, but mostly just tasted more like a dumpling than a wonton. Overall, this is a very authentic place for beef noodles, as evidenced by the sheer amount of Asians inside. The place was packed. It's actually rated #1 Bestseller Noodles Restaurant in UBC on the Chinese delivery app, Fantuan, and the recommendation is highly deserved.

We had the beef roll and the Szechuan noodles - both pretty good. There wasn't much pork in the noodles but they were damn good and spicy. The beef rolls were ok but not up to the same calibre as my fave for this kind of food: Peaceful. Many asian families were eating here at lunch on a Friday which we thought was a good sign and I think it was for good reason. Next time I'll try the actual signature dishes (beef noodle). I'll be back.

Excellent noodles and side dishes. Main reason for compromised rating is that through the see-through window into the kitchen I could see one of the chefs eating a bowl of noodle soup and pulling noodles and cooking between bites. This would not have passed any health inspections in my opinion. Will not be going back.

Hand made noodles. Very tasty! If you like spice, it's good. Lots of people eating. Great neighborhood.

Visited Vancouver and ended up at LanZhou twice! Everything was really good especially the fresh noodles!
