Spicy ramen is the way to go. Great foods and delicious Shiba chicken wings. They got draft beers and Japanese sake. You have to come by and check the place yourself. Bring friends and family with and they gonna love the foods here. The place is very roomy and many chairs.

This small ramen shop is a nice addition to the area. I got the spicy bowl, which isn't too spicy. I wish they had the togarashi red pepper at the table or some chili paste to add. The broth is good, not the best I've had but better than the other two taken places I've been to in this part of Oakland. I wanted a bit more veggies in my soup. The portions are decent. We got an order of the fried chicken wings to share. They're good, little coating and seasoning. I suggest getting here a bit early for lunch. Service was a bit slow.

Amazing Place for Lunch or a date gets crowded quick. The service is amazing and the ramen has the just right amount of seasoning, and flavor. One of my top Oaktown places to eat.

I've enjoyed the Shiba wings and dry ramen here before so thought I'd save time and order a 12 pieces online for pickup. SILLY ME! They brought out 6 wings and asked if I wanted to wait for them to cook 6 more or just take the 6 they had ready. I waited for the complete dozen and 6 were perfectly fine while the other half was soggy and greasy. Not a good experience.😞

Good ramen place. We took the spicy ramen (tan tan men) and the clear dark ramen (shoyu ramen) with a side of gyoza. The ramen were tasty, and reminded us a little of our favorite ramen place in Japan. The gyoza were OK, but slightly expensive for the serving size. On the less good side, not all ramen are served every days. The miso ramen was not available the day we went there. It lead to a strange interaction with the cashier. She told us that anyway, the miso ramen was not what we were expecting, not a miso soup...

It is a fast casual restaurant which provides prompt service. The staff was friendly and service was good. Good place for quick ramen. The broth was okay, personally felt like it could have been made better!

Went here for the first time after both reading an article about it's opening months ago and then seeing the storefront on the bus bridge shuttles dropping passengers off during the round of shutdowns BART had to reconstruct the track between Lake Merritt and Fruitvale. The shop is somewhat small but has enough seating for 60 or so people and has a cozy atmosphere. The ramen itself was quite good (chose the Miso one). The broth had a very "porky" flavor, though it could've also been because of the ground pork sprinkled on top. The noodles themselves I really liked, though that depends on personal preference. The eggs halves were bland, but not a bad thing as I've had ones at other ramen shops that were far saltier. Definitely planning on a return trip to try the spicy ramen.
