We had the most wonderful stay at Shila Athens to start our honeymoon and can’t recommend it highly enough! What a beautifully decorated, romantic, cozy, and unique room down to every thoughtful detail. The staff were all so nice and helpful throughout our stay, and provided great local dining recommendations. The rooftop terrace and breakfast in our private garden were among the highlights. The breakfast featured the most wonderful array of local baked goods, honey, marmalade, and yogurt- I know we will be dreaming of this breakfast for some time! Thank you Shila!!

Absolutely stunning property with a beautiful eclectic design aesthetic. Friendly service! Loved the option to order food in after exploring Athens, to enjoy the rooftop patio and the room away from the bustle of the city. Breakfast was excellent and so fresh. Can’t wait to visit again sometime!

Beautiful boutique hotel in a quiet side street. Furnished with well sourced interesting antiques and modern art on the walls which is all for sale. Comfortable beds. A breezy green roof terrace with safe , delicious breakfast and charming staff who were very helpful. Would recommend

I loved our stay at Shila. It is a wonderful boutique hotel with bohemian style. The rooms are all reminiscent of the 20’s and the roof top garden area is a great place to have breakfast or relax at night. Beautifully decorated. And I loved the bath products.

A charming beautifully furnished and designed refuge. Superb front desk staff so delightful and helpful. Easy walk to great restaurants. Try Philos for brunch excellent.drivers attached to hotel. Breakfast on rooftop great start to day. Could not recommend more highly.

I’m from nyc and often seek out boutique hotels when traveling. Shila is one of the best boutique hotels I’ve stayed at. The staff is very nice and always happy to help with whatever you need. Truly AAA service. The hotel itself and rooms are very cool — stylishly designed with antique designy furniture. Great bathrooms with good water pressure and nice big mirrors. Really nice cotton robes (so nice we bought some!) Very importantly the beds are super comfortable. The neighborhood Shila is in is perfect! It’s walking distance to tons of very cool restaurants, bars, and shops. And though I can share much more, the last thing I’ll say is the included breakfast is SO GOOD. They take the breakfast seriously. It’s made to order eggs, fresh bakery bread, fresh fruit, coffee and juice. If you’re a big breakfast person, you’re going to love it.

An awesome boutique hotel. Room was well appointed and quiet. The staff was very attentive and courteous. location is 15 min walk to all main points of interest and situated on a quiet pedestrian only street. It’s definitely the place to stay when in Athens.

This is a beautiful hotel in Athens! It’s small but the care and attention to detail is impeccable! The staff took care of reservations, airport transfers and general recommendations, and were just generally very sweet and accommodating. They thought of everything and have any item you may have forgotten. We would highly recommend this quaint little place and will definitely be back the next time we’re in Athens!
