Beautiful park and a great place to spend a couple hours if you are visiting Fresno or are local. Very kid friendly. The peacock and the bonsai garden were the highlights. Also a great photo opp location and tickets are so reasonable.

It was really cold(not their fault) so we didn't stay long. We went i. The winter so not all the flowers were bloomed. We will be going back in the late spring earl summer time so we can see all the beautifulness that the garden has to offer.

Shinzen Friendship Garden feels like a quiet escape tucked inside Woodward Park. As you walk through, you’re surrounded by koi ponds, gentle waterfalls, stone bridges, and beautifully maintained plants that change with the seasons. It’s a relaxing place to slow down, take photos, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, while also getting a small glimpse into Japanese culture through the garden’s design and occasional cultural events.

This is a beautiful place where you can enjoy a walk thru nature. The colors that reflect from trees and skies in the pond are magnificent it ha a beautiful bonsai garden within the garden. Very enjoyable beautiful place specially in early summer when all the colorful Koi fish are in the ponds and begging of autumn when the trees are changing colors it looks magnificent.

That was one of the most peaceful hour walking around this beautiful garden. The banzai trees are pretty amazing especially when some are 1000 years old. Go! Its worth it and it was only $5 to get in.

Beautiful experience! I will go every time I visit. It was so peaceful and well laid out. There are plenty of places to sit and talk in the tranquility.

Gorgeous, great walk or place to stroll and relax. well maintained, always something to look at. Very pretty and extensive bonsai collection/garden.

Beautiful and tranquil place to spend some relaxing time and be closer to nature. Very clean with ducks by the water, koi in the pond. The bonsai exhibit had some amazing collections and a very friendly lady to ask questions. Worth the visit!
