This is a great place for nice clothing, swimsuit options and gifts. I found a yummy smelling perfume and the shop host was all kinds of helpful and kind.

Really tastefully curated boutique. Cutest one on the island. The customer service was fantastic. The gal that helped us was so sweet. Items there are a bit more of a splurge but all seem to high quality. Plus found out they do shipping for $5!

I love this store in downtown Kapaa with cute female clothing, some jewelry, handbags, some sandals and even some makeup! I always buy a lipstick when I am there and some jewelry! Friendly staff providing great service! Definitely not a discount store but a cute boutique!

Came in rushed yesterday right before a flight to LAX. My BFF told me that they carry ILIA skin and beauty and that the line is amazing. I wish I would have had more time because the bottle was leaking a bit when I checked before boarding. Regardless the product is amazing and the customer service was rad. The girl who was working opening shift on 9/9/22 gets a huge thumbs up for being sweet and helpful. God bless Shipwrecked Kauai! PS: I understand the majority of their stuff is way super duper expensive. However, check the sale baskets on the ground (there were 4 full baskets during our visit). We were able to find a huge selection of clothing with MAJOR markdowns! My friend found a 149$ swimsuit marked down to 25$. She needs to repair one inch on the seam and it'll be like new. 100% worth searching for the deals here :)

Super upset that the crew in this great shop convinced me to buy a tinted makeup that was the WRONG color and they won't exchange. Super expensive blunder. They assured me it was my shade and when I got home to test a small bit, it TOTALLY NOT my skin tone. Also bought Sunnies for $320. I was never told that they don't exchange or credit for sunglasses. As a local, one wants to be treated way better. Shipwreck is already over priced, but they lost a great client along w any future friends shopping there

Do yourself a favor and visit this boutique while you're in Kauai! Located next to Java Kai. You could literally walk in through Java Kai because they are connected. We were having breakfast in Java Kai and walked right in when we were done. Lots of free street parking. This boutique is filled with the cutest swim wear and clothing for adults and kids. There's also accessories, makeup, etc. Something for everyone! I bought a bathing suit and a shirt for my daughter. The owner is very knowledgeable in regards to the fitting of the different brands she carries. I'm in love with my bathing suit! It's buttery soft. And my daughters shirt is also soft and breathable. They have Acacia here! If you love Acacia, you'll love this place.

I purchased some shoes and decided after 24 hours they were incredibly uncomfortable. I honestly don't know how anyone could wear them because the straps were so tight. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has had this same complaint. I stoped back into shipwrecked and asked if I could do an exchange for a different style or another item for equal value. The employee told me to go ahead find something for equal value. Then, changed her mind after speaking with the boss, and said I could have zero refund because they couldn't resell the shoes. I'm irritated because I was told two different things. I also think it's unreasonable because I would have agreed to another style of shoes as this one was simply intolerable. So beware - their exchange policy is subject to their mood and probably so strict with all items I would advise not to bother. But they probably get away with it because they are relying on tourist to buy their product and leave. Too bad I'm kamaaina and won't ever go there again.

Horrible attitude!!!!! They made me feel like I couldn't afford a piece of jewelry I asked about when I could've. The cashier sits there with a judge mental look on her face and doesn't even say hello. Probably would've bought the jewelry or something else if they didn't give me such a smug response.

We are here on our honeymoon, and I came in looking for a cute bathing suit. They have really cute stuff. The woman at the register did not acknowledge us or ask us if we were finding everything ok. She said hi to older customers, yet turned her nose up at us... I've worked in customer service, so I know everyone is human. Maybe she was having a bad day? But yikes y'all. Next time, we will find a place with better customer service.

Cute stuff - highly overpriced, but unique and very hawaii-chic! My mom found a cute dress here and I almost felt compelled to get a new wallet here by a designer in Australia. The girl working here was really friendly and pointed things out to me without pressuring me to buy. The buyer for this store has picked out some really neat items and I enjoyed perusing the shelves and tables.

I came in Sunday before leaving the island and got myself the cutest shirt. The lady working could not have been any nicer and bonus it's connected to Java Kai so I could get myself something yummy to drink after shopping.

Adorable beach trendy clothing/bathing suit shop in downtown kapaa next door to the Java Kai coffee shop. No great deals but I liked that they had unusual items I didn't see in other shops.

This place has the cutest bikinis ever and a lot of smaller companies! If you want to find cute unique bikinis this is the place to go! I also left my water bottle in here and I've never seen such a helpful shop owner! Support this business!

I want to give zero stars to the cashier that was there on Friday October 15 as she was the rudest, most judgmental person in this shop. 5 stars to the other gal that kept walking in and out of Java Kai as she constantly asked if I was needing any assistance. I'm not sure who owns this potentially great boutique as I hope he or she reads this and understands that the cashiers behavior really is unacceptable. I may not have looked like I could purchase anything but books shouldn't be judged by the cover. I saw first hand other women that were treated very different than I was. If the other gal that was as sweet as could be was the one talking to me more, I may have purchased so many items. It took me an 90 minutes to get there and I'm in no hurry to go back. I'm so disappointed.

Very disappointed in the service here. I come check this shop out every year I visit Kauai and it just seems to be getting worse. One of the cashiers (maybe owner) with long brown hair and bangs is SOOOO rude! She acts very judgmental, and as of you're bothering her. Sadly, I decided to not buy anything and take my business to I heart3hanalei where it was a friendly and fun vibe! You know that scene in Pretty Woman when Julia Roberts walks into the store after being snubbed earlier and says "Big mistake! Big! Huge!" ? Well, that was what I was thinking when the rude young woman ignored me this morning while I was shopping and while I walked right out the door without purchasing anything. Lame customer service.

Cute store with great gifts. Went there twice on our recent trip to Kauai. Bought a darling little keychain. Both times no one said hello (except for when purchasing) or greeted with a smile. Where is your aloha?

One of my go to shops here on Kauai. Such a cute style, its hard to not want to buy everything! If you're visiting Kauai i definitely recommend checking out this shop!

Discovered this boutique while on a business trip to Kaua'i. Great selection of beach luxe clothing and swimwear for the entire family. As previous posts have mentioned, prices are a bit on the hefty end but i'm a fan of quality over quantity and one-of-a-kind pieces which you can definitely find here. Got myself a super cute one piece bathing suit ($95) and a functional Jonah Brown white tee ($50) which can be worn to the yoga studio or a hot summer night date #winning! Will surely be back whenever i'm in the vicinity.

Cute and trendy shop next door to Java Kai coffee (may be the same owners). Merchandise is fashionable but on the expensive side, but super fun to browse. Tasteful merchandising and selection is beautiful. One of the top boutiques on the island to visit for women's clothing and accessories.

Had a blast in this store. I shop a lot through out the islands and this little gem is a breath of fresh air. They really work at offering things you aren't seeing all in other stores. Kate was super friendly and her product knowledge was spot on. She wasn't sure of the artist on an item and reached out to the owner via text to get the answer. I fell in love on Instagram and when I was able to finally get there I was equally in love. Keep up the good work SW. A hui hou. A must see shop on your Kauai visit.

Cute store! Great accessories and lotions, etc... Bought a pineapple print for our house. Sizes looked extremely small. Wish stores would be more inclusive with their sizing.

Shipwrecked Kaua'i is a super cute boutique and is probably my favorite on island. They sell beautiful bathing suits and clothing plus lots of other cool items throughout the store, such as coffee scrub, perfume, sunglasses, duffel bags, etc. It is a bit pricey so prepare to shop til you drop!

Very disappointed in this boutique! This was on my list of places to shop while here on Kauai. As I was shopping and looking at a clutch the gal behind the counter came out and told me not to take the clutch out of its case because 'it's expensive' and then said 'you'll get it dirty'. How am I supposed to decide to buy something if I can't look at it or touch it!? All while this was happening she was eating a greasy sandwich and chips. Overall I'm disappointed, they have cute things but I will not be spending my time or money here while on vacation!
