"If you enjoy eating inside semi-abandoned strip malls as much as we do, then you’ll like Shirin Glatt Kosher - because it happens to be located in a semi-abandoned strip mall, and the food is better than most things you’d find in such a place. Here, on the second floor, stuffed into the corner of a humid food court, is a kosher Bucharian and Mediterranean restaurant. There are recognizable plates like lamb kebab wrapped in a pita or the shakshuka - both very tasty - but there are also some dishes that would cause absolute mayhem in a spelling bee - like the gojgije, which is essentially just a samosa filled with beef and onions. That and the mashed potato-stuffed piroshki are reason enough to make a trip to this place, which would work fantastically as the setting for a zombie apocalypse movie." - Ryan Pfeffer

Simply delicious kosher joint. Healthy, authentic and reasonably priced. We had lunch for two and it was $30.

Food is great and the lady knows how to cook! Unfortunately that’s not all.. we came during lunch and more tables got filled up with starving customers, owner got really busy really quick and couldn’t control her only two employees so all you hear is her screaming and complaining how she is happier when customers come separately in different times! Also be careful with prices I ordered a schnitzel with rice for my daughter and got charged $17.99 for one piece of chicken and some rice.

I looove it! I’ve been going there for 5 years now. I’m obsessed with babaganoush, hummus and they’re the best here plus I always crave for her chicken soup, reminds of my grandma’s soup back in Romania! If you’re craving for kosher Mediterranean food this is the place to go. Also had the falafel sandwich, amazing. Everything DELICIOUS!!

Best food in downtown Miami if not the entire Miami. It's a little bit pricey but the food, the tast of it, the fresh salad, the service from staff and the reception from the owner is worth every red cent. 100% recommend it.

Unfortunately this place is closed. They went out of business. The lady that was there was very nice and the food was good. What is killing these businesses is not that the food is bad it's that the location in the metro mall is dying. The metro mall needs a new infusion of life and vision to bring it back to its glory days, then these businesses will survive and be prosperous

A hidden gem in downtown Miami. Glatt Kosher, if you observe. Food made by owner/chef. Very delicious. Must try when visiting downtown.
