Shirin Restaurant

Definitely one of the best Persian restaurants I have been to. The staff are so attentive as soon as we came in. They bring out the warm bread and appetizers right away no delay. All the meat here is so juicy and soft. Luis (our waiter) was on point with everything in our order. He was very attentive, friendly, and efficient even during a busy day. The best waiter I have come across. Would come here again without hesitation.

The customer service is so efficient and kind. The gentleman who was taking care of my table was so nice. He made sure we had everything we needed and also made sure everything was perfect. The food portions are quite filling and large. Also they gave us bread, onion and butter. A bonus is they have Mexican Fanta, so amazing! The meat was so tasteful and filling. The shrazi salad was a perfect amount of freshness for such a hot day.

My wife wanted this particular place craving Persian middle eastern food so she brought the whole family. Traditional flavors with traditional environment makes this an authentic experience. Food was fresh and tasty and lived up to the grey reputation Persian food has to offer. Finished off with a tea and was an over all lovely experience. Thank you!

Very relaxed experience and Luis was really nice and attentive… I love their fresh bread.. the best in LA Persian restaurants that I have tried… The food quality was also great.. Koobideh vas very tasty. The only comment I have for the chef/owner would be that the marination of their meat (lamb/beef chunks) was not authentic persian kabab marination and had some unknown flavors (to the mainstream persian taste).

Ohhhhh my, the lamb is to die for. Had the trout dish , as well, - magnificent ! Dresh Polo rice with cranberries is delightful. The service and atmosphere is top notch. They serve fresh onions and mint with the pita bread as a starter before one orders. It's great to add the onions and mint to the entree. The variety of tastes is wonderfully unique.

The taste of food was great. I like the Koobideh more. The portion was good and it can be good for two person. Also, Luis was a good server

Shirin Restaurant is by far one of the very best Persian/Mediterranean food I have had the pleasure of tasting. The service was perfect. The server came by several times to make sure everything was to our liking. The lentil soup had wonderful flavors that I have not experienced prior. The meat was tender and perfectly prepared. All of our meals were 110 percent. The portions as well are very generous. Parking is a breeze.

Very good experience and quality food. Service was fast and reliable. Luis was fantastic and polite. The chicken rice was very tasty and Albaloo Polo was special. Appetizers were also very good. The kashk o bademjan was the best! Very satisfied!

The food here is really great! A perfect starter is the gormeh sabzi/gahmeh tahdig and is a absolute must! We also go a beef saltani and a boneless chicken which were so packed with flavor and very juicy! Our server, luis, was very kind, observant, and accommodating. He greeted us with a big smile, constant refills, and very fast service. The place is very clean and the live music is a very fun touch! Will absolutely be coming back again soon!

This place is my go to when I want great Persian food. The shish kabob is the best. So juicy and tender. Also great spot if having a party and want catering. Make sure you checkout the catering menu which is separate. Parnaz is always a delight as she greets you on ur entrance. !

I have been coming here for years! This place has always been the greatest. The service is always incredible. Luis is one of the best servers who makes sure to check back on your table for drink refills or anything else you need. The food hete is always fresh and delicious! If your looking for a good persian food please do consider trying Shirin Restaurant.

Happy Nowruz!! Brought in the new year with a DELICIOUS meal from Shirin Restaurant. I had the vegan tofu kabob (4 pieces) and rice which was all soooo yum and is totally enough for 2 meals! The grilled veggies it comes with omg I haven't stopped dreaming about that flavor. I wish I was dressed to dine in because when we went in for our pick up they had live Persian music!! Such a fun vibe. There's a free parking lot too! It did take an extra 30 minutes after our scheduled pick up time for the order to be ready but I just assume that's because it was Nowruz. It was busy. I really really LOVED my meal and can't wait to go back.

The food was amazing as well as Emilio's attention at our dining experience. Kabobs were delicious as well as the hummus. The most authentic kabobs I've had in the SF Valley.

My boyfriend and I love coming to Shirin! Right as we sat down Eduardo welcomed us with a big smile and immediately got my dog water which was so nice and thoughtful. The food is amazing and the service is always excellent.

I recently dined at this wonderful Persian restaurant and had an amazing experience. Parnaz, our host/server, was exceptional. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food quality was outstanding, with rich flavors and beautifully presented dishes. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic Persian cuisine and top-notch service.

Amazing experience at Shirin today. Came in for lunch and everything from the appetizer (Tahdig & Yogurt Shallot) to the main dish (Combination Of Beef Soltani & Combination Of Chicken Soltani) was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a try if you love Persian food or even trying it for the first time. Additionally our waiter Arash was fantastic, checked several times to make sure we were happy with everything. Overall very pleasant experience.

The ambiance is amazing and cute little boutique, and Luis has been an incredible host and serve, giving great service! Food is also ver delicious, I had borani and koobideh, which came with great green lentil soup to boot! Definitely recommend 100%

Excellent service by Luis! Food is always good at Shirin. The soups are always well seasoned which is not usual with other Persian restaurants. The house made naan bread is wonderful. Kabobs are excellent.

I just ordered a mix of things from this restaurant and everything was horrible. How is this possible? The koobide was gummy, tough and flavorless and the white rice was undercooked . If you can't get Koobideh and white rice right at a Persian restaurant, I don't know what you're doing. The tahdig was so thick, stale and tough to chew. The lentils in the gheyme stew were undercooked. The ghormesabzi is somehow bitter and flavorless at the same time. The best part is the $2.99 side of masto moosir which is the size of a side of ranch. I'll leave a photo.

Luis is tue BEST!! EVERY SINGLE TIME I am here he makes me feel so welcomed like family and takes great care of our table. He gives us the ABSOLUTE BEST SERVICE!! I come here because of Luis and I love his hospitality and excellent customer service!!

Great place for Mediterranean craving place. Food was delicious and distance portions and price wise it was ok if you are not so picky. The service was good . The good part is that they have catering.

Needed something for lunch and decided to order delivery from here. Since I know Persian food tends to be family style I ordered the lunch special of the eggplant stew. Well I was shocked when I received my food. It was a very generous portion of food. A container of stew, a big square container of rice that would normally hold 1 meal on its own, a small container of soup, bread, and of course the accoutrements like onion, sumac, and butter. I made 4 meals out of this lunch special. The good: the stew and rice were phenomenal. The stew was surprisingly tangy but I enjoy that and the rice was so fluffy and buttery. The meh: the soup I got was bland. It was some kind of mixed bean/lentils soup. The bread was a bit crispy for my taste but it worked well with the stew. I can't speak for the service or ambiance of the place just yet, but I'm willing to go in person next time maybe for dinner with friends cause again the portions are big!

Love coming here for Lunch. Luis always rakes good care of us. He's the best. They have wonderful lunch specials and we always feel very welcomed. The chicken breast is super juicy, a must.

My favorite Persian restaurant hands down! Juicy chicken is an incredibly tasty dish. Service is 2nd to none, ask for Luis! Tahdig is skillfully prepared as well.

Food was amazing. Got the shish kabobs and the lentils. The service was good and the place was open. The yellow lentils were not yellow and kind of tasted the same as the others. Wouldn't get again.

Luis my server was amazing! He served our family well. The food was super yummy! I ordered a combination of chicken and beef Koobideh. The meat was so tender, and juicy cooked to perfection.

Food is amazing. Portions are large. Service is always pretty friendly. Ambiance is BACK! They are open for indoor dining and that's amazing! I often get Togo from this location and it's honestly delicious! My favorite is the saffron salmon with Lima bean rice! With a side of salad sirazi and a cucumber yogurt also the lentil soup! Ahhhh So delicious!!

We had a feast of super fresh and yummy food yesterday! It was an event at school where Shirin Restaurant catered the food. I love their hummus and borani. The beef and chicken kabobs are to die for. So tasty and tender! And the salads are amazzzzzzzzzing! I promised my husband I will bring him to their restaurant. He's very fond of Mediterranean food and I know for sure he will love everything this place has to offer.
