Shirley's Bagels

Deeeeeelicious bagels and a lot of options for breakfast sandwiches and bagels. I had the egg white veggie sandwich on a sesame bagel. The veggies were so thinly sliced and fresh and the cream cheese was the bomb! The bagel was soft and chewy. Really friendly staff. My only complaint is the space gets pretty cramped during busy times and it does take quite a while to get your order. But the quality is worth the wait!

today we got begils with fish and cream cheese as usual... and the cheese was awful it smelled like something was going to die and we always bought it and it didn't smell like that... just awful we threw it out and didn't do anything else... there is also a rude woman working there, I will definitely attach her photo when I go to get coffee, she is the only one who is rude there, everyone else seems nice and she is the only one who makes disgusting coffee... and angrily hands out food and coffee, her eyes are always bulging and she never hears my name, she also has hearing problems... I am shocked by such service, she really scares me this woman

Tried 4 different bagel sandwiches - pesto florentine - really enjoyed it, like the mushrooms and the flavor of the sandwich - Californian - not sure, but something was missing. Strangely it tasted a little bland and was missing flavor - nova lox - amazing. The bagel was warm and perfectly toasted, the cream cheese against the bagel was cold(usually the cream cheese starts to melt, but perhaps they slightly froze it because it didn’t melt!) and the nova lox was fresh. This might have been one of the best nova lox bagel sandwiches I’ve had. Have to come back for this again. -PB and J for the kids. Solid.

Restaurant was crowded with limited seating but food was really good and really well priced. The line was super long but they got through it fast and wait time was shorter than I expected for the number of people there. We got 2 Asiago bagels with veggie cream cheese on one and garlic scallion for the other. The veggie bagel had a fresh taste and the garlic one was wonderfully savory.

My goodness this place is crazy busy almost every morning. I ordered bagels for myself and my coworkers online. A whole volleyball team decided to order just before in the wrong line which pushed my ready online order to arrive 15 minutes after its designated pick up time. However, the place is so good their food is super fresh as posted on their signs. “Please be patient as our food is very freshly made” something along those lines. Located on Westminster and 17th in Costa Mesa

Delicious bagel sandwiches and plenty of food/ drink options. A friend from Newport Beach mentioned they had been going there regularly since childhood and the establishment has been around quite some time. Also they were one of the only places open on memorial day. Staff were very friendly and fast service.

Bagels were good as was the cream cheese spread.

This store sometimes has queues and now I know why that is. Thank you for this experience, I really enjoyed it! You have a very good bagels 🥯
