After a week in Fortaleza and Salvador, my wife (who is asian) was craving some good non-Brazilian asian food. This place delivered, with one minor exception (see below).
I had the chirashi. She had the miso pork belly yakitori and a bowl of plain white rice. We both had the miso soup. The sashimi, pork, miso, and plain rice were excellent. The only thing that was off-putting was the sushi rice in the chirashi (and it looks like they use that sushi same rice in their nigiri and maki).
Instead of traditional sushi rice, which is basically just white rice, with perhaps a tiny bit of vinegar sugar and sugar for brightness (it should not impact the overall flavor of the plain white rice). This sushi rice was brownish in color, had an oily texture, a nutty flavor. Not bad if it was in a Brazilian place, but not in any way asian, which was surprising given that this place seems to strive to be a traditional sushi restaurant. Maybe they adjusted it for the Brazilian palette, but it tasted more like rice I had in other parts of Brazil than any rice I have had in any asian restaurant worldwide. In my opinion it was a big miss where this whole dinner could have been a success, which is why I deducted one star.
So my recommendation to the management is to please reconsider your sushi rice recipe.
We will probably eat here again before leaving Brazil, but I will stick with the sashimi and a bowl of plain gohan.
