We went there and the night was loaded with new trainees, fine no worries, but we waited almost 1 hour for our food, then most were not even the right order and in addition I did not understood what my dish was at the end. We were watching the game, somebody decided to take it off and put it back in 20 minutes. I know things happen, but they are not in a hurry to fix quick for you anyway. Maybe it was me that night, but I would skip this one next time. Not a fan.

My friends and I went here after going to the haunted house nearby and honestly everything we got was fried to perfection, I was blown away. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the fried pickles, onion rings, chicken tenders, etc were perfectly crispy and not too greasy, and then I had the best drink of my life. We walked in not really expecting anything and left very satisfied! Thanks guys it was awesome!

Google
This restaurant is a good place to come with the family. The food is good, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere was ok. Overall, I would come back here if there is a want or need for it. The prices are good as well. If you are looking for a good burger and wing place, this is your spot.

Google
The food was excellent. I would recommend the fish and fries. It was cooked the way fried fish is supposed to be cooked. My wife got a lemon chicken dinner with mashed potatoes that was delicious too. I posted pictures. FYI, the chicken strips have the same battering that the fish has. I would recommend them also.

My wife, father & I stopped in for dinner here (around 8:30pm), before driving back to Michigan. I would've been content with a 6/10, (considering the fact that I just drove 5 hours straight from Michigan to Chicago to get my father) I just wanted to eat, and get back on the road. I however, was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food & friendliness of our waiter. My wife & I got the seafood combo dinner (deep fried cod/shrimp/calamari, with fries & coleslaw) the different types of batter/bread crumbs (and flavor of them) were better than I expected (compared to your typical fish & chips that I've had at a hundred different places). The fries were fresh cut, and sprinkled with flecks of sea salt (these fries were probably the best that I've ever had). The coleslaw was home made as well, basic, simple, but the dressing was incredible: A little sweet, not super sour or tart. I loved it. My father ordered the meatloaf, he shared a bit with my wife & I, and I'll tell you this much, I'd be ordering that frequently (if I didn't live 5 hours away). It was so different than your mother's meatloaf, not stuffed with bread, and it has the best tasting sauce on the top of it (not Hines Ketchup). I could write a novel about how much I loved this place (and maybe I kind of just did...), if you're a local, I envy you! I was told by the waiter that they use nothing but fresh ingredients here, and it absolutely shows! 10/10

My group ate here after our event at Axeclusive next door. The service, food and atmosphere was wonderful. They give you large portions at a reasonable price. Everyone in my had a awesome time. We definitely will be going back in the near future!

Google
Great service, cook came out he was very friendly and was attentive as for our server she was great very attentive . Came here to cook after a good scare of the 13th floor . I will definitely be back. Great atmosphere and to watch a good baseball game. Anyone reading this definitely worth coming.

Google
Really cool restaurant with a sports theme. We came here after an event in Rosemont (right down the street from the convention center). We sat outside and the fireplace was awesome. I had the Merks cheese burger and my son had the wings. Both were delicious! We also had the cheese curds for an appetizer. Overall, great atmosphere, food, and the prices were really reasonable!

Greg G.

Yelp
What a neighborhood gem. Friendly staff and great daily specials. Our wings were very tasty. The friday fish or shrimp were good. My Jambalaya was very tasty. Lots of other good options available. Drinks had fair amount of liquor. Parking around here is tough but take a flyer and head over here.

Molly D.

Yelp
Flying home in the morning and needed a neat place to have some food and a drink. Kylie, the bartender, was very friendly and helpful. The cheese curds were delicious. A huge portion that I shared with a couple next to me. They have neat fire pits out front. And they have a lot of TV's to watch the games. Neat place.

Timothy M.

Yelp
This was my first time here. We decided to look for a place with live music and solid bar food. This place definitely had that. The food was pretty good and the service was awesome. The only thing I would suggest is lowering the speaker volume just a tiny bit. It was impossible to have any conversation even across the restaurant. Other than that place was great! Definitely try it out!

Michael M.

Yelp
Don't know how to make an old fashion??? Place seemed like it could be great but dirty.

ヴェロニカ

Yelp
Espresso martini...horrible i didn't finish it. Also, we had one person we were trying to prevent from driving drunk, everyone had 1 shot and 1-2 drinks, your so called manager doesn't know peoples' tolerance and cannot base it off of one person. Also, really....were loud. It's a public space/bar and people can't be loud? Um..it's a public space. This was my first time here and will be my last.

Maxwell G.

Yelp
Great spot to watch a game! Came on a Thursday night for the Packers/Lions game and was not disappointed. Great tap selection, excellent food (the chicken wrap we had was wonderful), enjoyed the fries as well. Fast, friendly service. Lots of space, so this would be great for larger groups. I found a new favorite sports bar near O'Hare!

Matt W.

Yelp
Stopped in after landing on a Thursday and was one of few places open as of 10pm that I could quickly locate for food. Also came recommended from a friend that was a local. They do have a late night menu consisting of wings and deep fried sides, so fries, waffle fries, onion rings as examples. Went with the half order waffle fries which was pretty large and quite tasty. Also got the Parmesan Garlic wings which were sizeable, crunchy on the outside, juicy inside. Everything you want in a wing. The place has the typical sports bar vibe with plenty of parking. Quiet on a Thursday with solid service and a pretty decent tap list.

Phil B.

Yelp
I was out here last year and bookmarked this place. The last time I was out here the food and service were excellent. This time Was no exception.... The only this is I forgot the meat load was two dinosaur size slabs of meat!!

Joneice B.

Yelp
Stopped here after going to 13th floor haunted house. My friend and I were really impressed with the cocktail menu. Lots of drinks to choose from. We opted for the Watermelon Suga Margaritas. The margaritas were good...and sugary!!! For food, I got the Cod Father (Cod Sandwich on French Bread) with fries. Overall satisfied with my choice. My husband ended up enjoying mt leftovers. My friend got the Avocado BLT. Her sando was very fresh. Additionally, she had a chicken soup which had so many chunky veggies in addition it was spicy. Location is easy with plenty of parking. There is a casino located in the bar and plenty of huge TV's. All-in-all a good evening.

Samantha S.

Yelp
Enjoyed this. In Chicago for a conference and had never been this far north of the city before. Yelp helped find this restaurant for us. Waitress was very pleasant and efficient. Started with Italian beef egg rolls. Meat was nicely seasoned, egg roll was stuffed and nicely fried. We both highly enjoyed. I had a burger which was cooked just slightly too well for me. Still was juicy enough, though. Nice that they had Mercks cheddar. Friend had a roast beef sandwich which he really enjoyed. Fries were nice and crisp but way too many of them.

Alan P.

Yelp
Great local spot near Rosemont. My colleague recommended this place while we were in town for work last week. Very cool local sports bar. Great bar with a lot of TVs and outstanding service. Solid beer selection. The Italian style egg rolls are a great appetizer, and the Italian meat sandwich is awesome. Sweet potato fries were great, too. They have trivia on Tuesday nights. I highly recommend if you are in the area and looking for a sports bar, and/or a casual local spot for drinks and food.

Iris P.

Yelp
Spent our Halloween evening here and we always find this place to be a good time every time we go! All the food here is so delicious and always comes in big portions that you could share (or eat alone, no judgments)! We ordered the big pretzel, 1/2 lb cheese curds, drinks, and a chicken avocado wrap with chips! The service here is wonderful and the ambiance is great!!

Priscilla R.

Yelp
The food was ok. Ambiance was not was indicated in the ads I've seen but the service wasn't bad.

Patti O.

Yelp
Great place & even better service! All of the staff is awesome. So friendly and attentive. Food is also excellent with good-sized portions for the price. Haven't had a bad thing off their menu yet! The place has an area for live music, a big U-shaped bar, and tables throughout the place. Also private room for slots games and another private party room.

Ashley D.

Yelp
Polite staff and nice sandwiches. Smoke portions to the wraps and club sandwiches Served full menu up to 11:00 & continued to serve the bar menu till 2am

Chris O.

Yelp
We stopped in for a few drinks, we had an early flight to catch. Be very careful where you park, tow trucks are waiting for you.

Angela L.

Yelp
Landed later in the evening on a trip to Chicago and needed to get something into our stomachs. We found Shoeless Joes was open so we swung in. It has a decent parking lot so easy on site parking. By the time we got in they were on a limited menu as can be expected. We ended up ordering the wings and fries and a couple of beers. The wings were decent through I expected more flavor from the Parmesan Garlic. It seemed like any beer we mentioned wanting to order had to be checked on to see if they even had it. It wasn't very busy but it also seemed like the server was trying to be friendly but kind of came across as disinterested in serving us. It was a dark bar big but very much seemed like a local dive. I wouldn't steer people away from it but also wouldn't tell people they have to go there.

Sarah M.

Yelp
Anita is the absolute best bartender I've come across in a long while! She's so personable and sweet! She remembers your name, your drink, and engages in customers! Plus she's got great taste in music and I love how she kept bringing us nice clean chilled glasses with our drinks!

Michael H.

Yelp
Phenomenal. 80's band was unreal, food was great, wild card football on every screen and Lexi our server was all time. Fantastic way to spend a 5 hr layover at ORD. 10 mins from airport.

Emma B.

Yelp
Me and my family stoped here and the food was AMAZING I got the chili, it was very good but a little spicy so if you don't like spice that much I wouldn't recommend it. My husband got the salad and said it was very good. The service was great! Our waiter was so nice and got us everything we needed. The whole vibe of the place is nice they have tvs playing football and music playing. Overall it is a very good restaurant i would recommend!!

Maureen M.

Yelp
Good meetup spot for our group. Their food is delicious. The tenders look overdone. No lie in the name bc they were so tender. The atmosphere reminded us of a small town supper club. Could be they're still decorating/setting it up. We were there on a weeknight. Maybe they move the tables for dancing on weekends. I didn't ask nor check other reviews.

Ray P.

Yelp
Went on "St Patrick's Eve" night and a local band happened to be playing. Music was decent! Definitely has a "Chicago neighborhood bar" vibe, which is a plus. We sat ourselves and we were immediately greeted by a wait staff. Being a beer guy, their beer options are very good and our waitress was gracious and attentive. Excellent service during our evening visit. The Down side was the food. My wife had the ribeye steak sandwich. Lacked seasoning and definitely on the chewy side. I had the fish and chips. Definitely lacked a "crisp" and I questioned the "freshness" of the fillets. Both meals were sitting on a heaping portion of French fries. I Would visit again but I hope the staff / management will re-evaluate and revamp their menu offerings. Provide good quality food, with an emphasis on freshness of product and recipes that jolt the the taste buds.

Deb C.

Yelp
Happy Valentines Day! Great service and food! Have many Lent meatless and seafood options. Had the Seafood platter and Flatbread pizza. Completely recommend!

J F.

Yelp
Friendly staff. Great late night menu. Cool bar. We will definitely be going back soon!

Jeff N.

Yelp
We were a group of 12. Our server Nicole handled it well. The food was great! Very large selection of food and beverages. Tons of TV's Fun place

Hanny P.

Yelp
Fun bar. Randomly stumbled across here on a night the bears were playing. Lots of fun, lots of readily available tvs for viewing, and delicious bar fare.

Jessica C.

Yelp
Beyond brutal service. This place doesn't make any money so they make sure to tow your car. What was supposed to be date night is gone to the shitter! Do not waste your time or money on this place!

Renee R.

Yelp
We had good service, good food, and great music. We will go back for sure. We want to try out the outside seating.

Kevin R.

Yelp
First off this place was hard to find. The address that was originally given on Yelp lead us to a closed down building. After checking on another site, we were able to find it successfully. Walking in, the place we empty! We were the only patrons for at least 20 minutes and it was around 4 something in the afternoon which made me kind of nervous being that college games were on all the TVs and no one was inside. Anyway of waitress attended to us and answered our questions about the menu and even gave her recommendations. Overall the food wasn't anything to brag about or remember honestly. The TVs are big plentiful and you can more than likely watch whatever game you're hoping to that Saturday or Sunday. Would I go again? Sure, anytime soon, probably not.

Abriella W.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would. Customer service was astonishingly horrible. The food was served barely lukewarm, cheese on burger had an off taste. Restrooms were filthy and smelled disgusting. DO NOT GO HERE

Robyn T.

Yelp
My husband was here last night for a Marine event. He forgot his credit card here (tab) so he had to come get it today. We decided to bring our toddler and have dinner while there. My husband was already raving about the pizza he had the night before so we were excited to try some other menu items We got the tater tots, Santa Fe egg rolls, Italian beef egg rolls, and fries. All were very tasty. And our waitress was super friendly and even interacted with our daughter. A waitress also remembered my husband from the night before and was super sweet to us as well. All in all, a good experience. Will definitely visit again,

Yelp
Shoeless Joe's Ale House & Grille is a sports bar on River Road in the suburb of Schiller Park, just a wee bit south of Rosemont. This Shoeless Joe's is apparently a newer location (I know I had gone to a different Shoeless Joe's a few years ago) as they are constructing a new outdoor patio space adjacent to the free parking lot. I guess this is a White Sox bar as it is named after the famous / infamous Sox star Shoeless Joe Jackson, but I think you will be fine here whether you support the Sox, Cubs, the Chicago Dogs minor league baseball team, or you are just a tourist. TV's and sports memorabilia are everywhere so sports fans will enjoy having a look around. We were here mid-afternoon on a Friday in early June, so there were a few individual dudes at the bar, but not too many folks eating at tables. Our party of three sat at a table that was socially distant from all else. The staff was seen wearing masks or clear face shields to combat Covid-19. Our server was very patient with us as we deliberately selected our menu items. My reuben was a solid sandwich choice, with a side of cole slaw making this the exact serving size I needed for this early dinner. We also ordered fish tacos, consisting of three cod tacos with avocado, rice and cole slaw, as well as the fish fry platter, a substantial serving of cod, calamari, fried shrimp, fries and cole slaw (I think this seafood platter also came with a side salad). Lots of leftovers for my two peeps who ordered these two dishes.

Josh S.

Yelp
The menu here is huge so brace yourself for a lot of options. Great appetizers and overall there's something for everyone. I got some chicken and it was divine. Pizza is also confirmed to be tasty. No frills and affordable, yet high quality.

Jason V.

Yelp
Well, they don't keep their advertised hours. Very disappointed. Good normally, but don't count on them.

Cameron B.

Yelp
Honestly not great considering what's in the area Pro- Service was pretty good with a nice outdoor seating area Con - ambience, it is REALLY loud inside M. I like a bit of buzz but we couldn't hear ourselves think. The decor was weird too, with a sort of faux industrial vibe. Really felt like a low end dive bar instead of a "grille" Food- food was pretty bad. I had buffalo chicken tenders. Everything was soggy. Tenders had zero crisp and fries were limp and mushy, like the cooking oil wasn't hot enough Wife had ravioli in vodka sauce with a Caesar. Caesar was drowning in dressing and had lots of black olives and chopped tomatoes. And it was old, like it had been in the fridge pre made all day. The ravioli tasted frozen and the sauce from a jar. It wasn't very good, especially for the price. There's way better options just down the road.

Jeff A.

Yelp
Good food and drink. Friendly and hard working staff. Lots of space and TV's to catch games. The beer list had a good variety and the food choices ran from tacos and wraps to steak.

Michael W.

Yelp
My first time to the new digs! Good news? The new space is less dumpy. It was great to see familiar faces still there :) It was also great to see the business start to hop as evening approached. Bad news? The draft taps took a pretty significant hit, about half are gone from before. It can also get a little drafty in the winter because of the front door. They have also added a game room, i.e. gambling. Shoeless Lives!

Travis K.

Yelp
Typical bar food, but better! I had the Buffalo chicken wrap with tots and my brother had a patty melt with tots. His Patty melt was a little pink on the inside but good. My chicken wrap was really good. The grill marks on the tortilla was great. Our waitress did a great job taking our order and getting the food out on time. Only thing different that I would suggest for her is to lay down drink napkins when delivering people's drinks. If that's the worse thing about the experience here I'm ok with it.

John H.

Yelp
Based on the other reviews and the proximity to the Crown Center Hotel, we stopped in for dinner on a snowy Friday night. There was still a pretty good crowd considering the weather. It was 'open seating', but a server did come out to greet us. Once seated, my wife ordered a beer that our server told us was the beer of the day, so she offered her an size option that was a better deal. I got a martini, which was very good! We both got the Italian Beef; I got it with cheese as well for a small up-charge; I do recommend you add cheese if you can. One of us got the coleslaw, and one the fries so we could share. The Italian Beef had a very good flavor, there was plenty heaped on the sandwich, and the Giardiniera was a hot and tasty addition! The frIes were good, as was the coleslaw. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. All in all a good experience!

Michelle L.

Yelp
WARNING! Do not dine here! They work with a tow company that has guys sitting in the parking lot in regular cars watching and waiting to tow cars. We spent our money eating and drinking here for an hour! Our car got towed within 10 minutes of closing out our tab. The tow company wouldn't even look at our receipt from the restaurant. When calling the restaurant (after Vic's TOLD us to call them) they said it had nothing to do with them and there was nothing they could do. Everyone was blaming and pointing fingers at each other, but nobody would take responsibility! They are running a scam

Tiffany G.

Yelp
I'm obsessed with this place, so far love the jambalaya and the steak sandwich! So delicious!

Tom J.

Yelp
We were happy to find a restaurant still serving food late on Sunday. The server gave us a chance to order from the regular menu before they switched over to the late night menu. I had buffalo wings with Bleu cheese dip. The wings were great but the blue cheese was oddly sweet. This is a pretty nondescript sports bar. Not great for kids. The service was good but overall we weren't too impressed. It was fine.

Scott A.

Yelp
They are still working their way back to full strength and are a bit understaffed. That said, the staff was kind and the food was better than expected for an ale house! And of course the beer selection of draft, cans, and bottles is great. I followed the advice of the bartender and had the ribs with the mashed potatoes and started off with the chicken noodle soup. The broth has a rich chicken flavor and an unexpected little kick. I am guessing there is some cayenne at work. The noodles were run off the mill shell pasta and don't do their part to live up to the broth and fresh veggies. The ribs were quite good and the sauce was a nice traditional style BBQ. They were a bit dry but still quite enjoyable. The mashed potatoes were chunky style and very rich with cream and butter. They were good but could have used some gravy. I would definitely give them a try!

Ronald R.

Yelp
Good atmosphere and this place was close the airport. The food was as good as most sports bars.

Claudia A.

Yelp
I always walked past this bar and never got the chance to go until last week. I'm so glad I did because the food was GREAT! I ordered the Jose Salad and it was delicious and huge. Two can easily eat from that plate and that is so satisfying because we ordered the Jalapeno burger and the salad, which gave us a chance to split everything and eat amazing quality and a large quantity as well. Service was great too. Will come back very soon!

Kari S.

Yelp
Went on a Tuesday night, not crowded at all so we had great service. Food was excellent and the portions are HUGE.

Steve J.

Yelp
Food portions were good. Pizza was good. Salad was good. Fish and chips were luke-warm, and fish coating was soggy. Waitress could not be bothered to tell me what beers they had on tap; I finally was told there is a beer list. But the first two beers I chose they were out of (she did not bother to tell me this either until I asked). She also could not be bothered to tell me what salad dressings they had.

Brian B.

Yelp
Spending a layover night in Chicago near the airport and I stumbled across Shoeless Joes. The place is very large and open on the interior (there is also a patio area but it's November) with TV's everywhere. Just about every sport on TV at the time was on the screens. It was a Sunday so football was the main go to for the screens and the patrons in the bar. I had the sweet red chili wings with an order of onion rings. The wings were good, they were messy dripping in sauce but tasty. The onion rings were perfect, lightly battered with a beer batter. Great spot for some pub food and the game (whatever game is yours they will most likely have it)

Phaedra W.

Yelp
Love the new Shoeless Joes location! We had quit going to the old location because it just wasn't in a nice spot and the restaurant was a bit dirty. Those things have been fixed with this move! I hope they stay on top of the cleanliness and keep up with the joint - I never enjoyed sitting in booths with torn seats. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed chatting with the bar tender - she was super sweet and excited about the new space as well. There seemed to be a good crowd at 3:00 pm in the afternoon on a Saturday. We were sad to see that they had to make a choice to cut back on their tap selection because of the space being a bit smaller. I tend to like more malty beers and there didn't seem to be as many to choose from in this IPA world. I did have a Guinness and it was lovely. The bar is at the front of the building and it was drafty with cold are coming in through the revolving doors...bring a sweater on cold days. There is a gaming room right when you walk in. Food is still good! We always enjoy getting the pulled pork nachos with our beers and we'll be back again!
