Maybe it was just an off night, but this was the worst hibachi I’ve ever had. The meat was overcooked, with the chicken having a chewy texture and no flavor. The rice and noodles were slimy, bland, and the “fried” rice wasn’t actually fried. The vegetables tasted like they’d been overly steamed and were covered in a slimy unappealing sauce. The salad had a strange-tasting dressing, and they don’t offer ginger sauce. The soup was okay but had odd bits in it that I couldn’t identify.
The service was good, and the shrimp tempura was decent. They don’t cook in front of you like a traditional hibachi experience, and the restaurant itself has more of a hole-in-the-wall feel. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return for the hibachi.
