The food was outstanding, and prices so reasonable. Tender, beef teriyaki, perfectly seared and medium rare as I requested -- so much I couldn't finish, and on a bed of fresh vegetables, rice, soup and salad. Add a beer all for $25! Tidy, quaint setting with booths and tables. Looked like heaven too for sushi lovers, but that's not my thing.

We had multiple items including the scallion pancake, shumai, sweet potato roll, Las Vegas roll, & volcano roll.. everything was so good and our service was great. Our sushi chef was phenomenal. Will be back 😁

My go to Asian food place in Frostburg. Nothing else compares. Prices are great. The chicken hibachi meal is the absolute best.

The sushi was some of the best ive had in a long time. Wife loved it, place is small but it was fine. Only one person helping everyone but she did her best. Will come back to try other things.

One of the Japanese restaurants I have ever been too! They meal had some really amazing and creative dishes (our favorites were the Avocado balls and Sushi Pizza). Everything was fresh, delicious and beautiful. Would absolutely recommend!!

I don't normally review, but felt I should since the other reviews before me all have pictures from their menu/website and gave generic 5 stars, along with being new accounts and making the review in the same day... 🤔 I made a pickup order online and got three rolls along with some calamari. The three rolls I got were ok for the area but they got my order wrong. My yellowtail roll should have had green onion and they forgot my soup... I assume the calamari is precooked/frozen since it isn't using actual tempura batter and look like onion rings. Overall, the price is good but everything was "ok".

Maybe it was just an off night, but this was the worst hibachi I’ve ever had. The meat was overcooked, with the chicken having a chewy texture and no flavor. The rice and noodles were slimy, bland, and the “fried” rice wasn’t actually fried. The vegetables tasted like they’d been overly steamed and were covered in a slimy unappealing sauce. The salad had a strange-tasting dressing, and they don’t offer ginger sauce. The soup was okay but had odd bits in it that I couldn’t identify. The service was good, and the shrimp tempura was decent. They don’t cook in front of you like a traditional hibachi experience, and the restaurant itself has more of a hole-in-the-wall feel. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return for the hibachi.

Food was so good and very affordable compared to other restaurants like this, we will be back again definitely going to be a favorite

The food is fantastic and the service was as well. We had our class luncheon there, and I never heard one complaint. I ordered after that food to take home I loved it that well.

For the a small town, it is not too bad. I believe for what it's worth (and being the only sushi place in town) it's good. The servers were attentive and food came out in a timely manner. They used the space well and they tried to keep the integrity of the restaurant. I ordered the: Godzilla (more on the sweater side) Sweetheart (decent amount of fish)

Visiting from out of state and some local friends brought here us here for dinner. The food was delicious; would gladly come back again!

This place is great. My son loves it. The menu has a huge variety and the food presentation is awesome as well as the food and service.

The food was good but it was definitely overpriced for the serving you get. I got hibachi steak for $20 and it was barely any food. Service was quick but didn't feel like the servers really engaged. Area was very clean so I enjoyed the environment, my main complaint is the serving size.

Hopped in for a quick lunch as a party of 6 and weren't disappointed. The service was a bit slow but everything else was excellent. The food is well cooked and presented in an appetizing way. Everything was delicious and there were countless vegetarian options. The restaurant is clean and so are the bathrooms. This is a really great Japanese spot with wonderful food and a great atmosphere.

Dinner at Shogun was delicious. Although we arrived later in the evening for dinner, both Sushi Chefs did not disappoint. Just the right blend of spices on our rolls and entrees, a great way to top off a lovely evening! We had the Sweetheart Roll, Out of Control Roll, Dragon Roll, Unagi Don and Seaweed Salad. Can't wait to get back to this lovely restaurant.

This place definitely exceeded my expectations. The food was good and very reasonably priced. The only let down was the hibachi vegetables weren't prepared as I had expected. They were still tasty though.

Didn't look like much from the outside but the inside was beautiful. I was craving and missing Japanese food and had heard this place just opened and is close to my college so I couldn't wait to try it out. The food was absolutely delicious ! Definitely coming back for more.

My husband and I couldn't find anywhere to go on Christmas eve since most places were closed. I came across Shogun on Yelp, called, and they were open! We drove about 30 minutes to get here, and it was worth it! The atmosphere is awesome, the staff is wonderful and super hospitable, and the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD! They are having their grand opening on January 11th,with live music at 7 PM, drink specials and special dishes. Definitely stop by, you will not regret it!

Good serving size. Everything was fresh and had a great taste. Currently take out only.

This place was amazing. The salmon sashimi melted in my mouth. The flavors were delightful. The plating was very creative. We will definitely return.

I don't normally write reviews but this is probably one of the worst sushi places I've been to. The rolls were nasty looking and basically were over filled with slimy cucumber.

Delectable cuisine, excellent service and en pointe presentation. A true cultural gem for Frostburg.

this place is awesome. sushi is always delicious and usually comes out really fast. 10/10
