Probably my favorite ramen in Vegas now! The environment Is good. Food served fast. Ramen ($13.95) is yummy and I love their fried rice too! Recommend this place! The only problem is the restaurant was too hot. The temperature was too high inside even when the customers opened the door to leave made me feel relieved. I hope they see my comment and adjust the temperature.

I COULD’VE DIED! After reading the reviews I was excited to visit. I took the recommendation of the young lady at the front for Miso Ramen. I asked about onions, and was told the Miso Ramen, comes with onions but it could be made without. I said, “Yes, please because I was severely allergic to onions!” I sat down in the booth, and waited for my to go order. I heard the same young lady tell the kitchen no onions, allergy to onions. I even looked up to ensure they saw who they were making the order for. I even tipped the young lady and drove straight home. I transferred the toppings and noodles to a separate bowl while I heated up the broth. Upon pouring the toppings and noodles into a separate bowl you cannot imagine my horror to see not only white onions, but green onions. I had to use Google to get phone number to the restaurant, because it’s not on the receipt. I asked to speak to a manager, only to be told that there was no manager. They’re in transition of getting a new manager, but provided me a phone number of an old one. Ironically I was speaking to the young lady who took my order. She apologized profusely and said that she should have checked again under the corn (I paid additionally for this topping) after telling the kitchen. In my opinion she shouldn’t have to, how about LISTEN! There were only 4 ppl dining so I don’t understand. At any rate I left him a voice message and I am now waiting on his reply. It is so lazy and unprofessional when a person tells you no onions that you take it upon yourself to think that it is a food preference. Had I eaten it without warming it up I would have gone into anaphylactic shock and died. This is a serious issue and should have been taken SERIOUSLY. I carry 2 epi pens and a note from my Dr. This food ended in the trash as I couldn’t eat it. What a waste!

Google
Flavorful broth, but I'm not the biggest fan of their type of noodles. I prefer thicker with more chew. The toppings were average. I don't like places that serve only half an egg. Portion size was fair. Their chicken karaage was average. Customer service was fast and friendly. There really aren't any other competing ramen shops in the area that I know of, so this place will do in a pinch.

Every time I want to eat ramen I always come here and order the same thing, namely Shogun Ramen. The only downside is that the place is too small so if there are a lot of people I have to wait for 20-30 minutes.

I visited Shogun Ramen on blue diamond last year, and I’ve always enjoyed the food! Now that they open on Eastern, I am so glad because it’s closer to me! I visited on the grand opening and the atmosphere, food, and service was GREAT. (As expected) they were rolling out their signature ramens and planned to release new menu items in the future which gives me more of a reason to come back. PS the signature Roman is a definite go to! Don’t miss out on the Matcha tiramisu. ✨

Excellent Ramen! The broth and chasu pork was cooked well and very delicious. The staff was very quick and efficient. Definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Google
Best ramen I've had in vegas so far. My wife and I have tried about 13 different ramen places here and this was our favorite. The staff is very friendly and the pricing is great for the quality of food. They're signature ramen excellent and the marinated egg was cooked to perfection. The restaraunt itself is a little cramped but it did not effect our enjoyment of the food.

Google
Best ramen in town! I came here because a friend recommended it to me and I came back 2 days later because it was just THAT good! The broth is full of flavor, the noodles are the perfect texture and the portion sizes are huge. Overall, great food and amazing service. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
This place *was* my favorite Ramen place in Vegas that was close by. There used to be two locations. One on Blue Diamond and one on Eastern. Once the Blue Diamond location closed, I went to Eastern. That said, I say *was* because as of June 14th, this location had a sign on it that said "Closed until further notice". That hurt to read. I loved this place. The Karaage/fried chicken was heavenly. Best Karaage in town. The ramen bowls were flavorful, noodles soaked the brother well. It had everything you could want. Even the curry was decent. It's a shame. I hope it's not another business that goes under.

Yelp
After visiting Claw Planet a couple doors down, we were craving for ramen. As long as they had karage chicken, that's all that mattered. The karage, gyoza, and ramen had the right flavoring. The Chashu Buns were good, that I ate it right away. The Shogun ramen was spot on with pork bone broth, signature dashi, umami miso, chashu , menma, bean sprouts, scallions, umami oil, seaweed, nitamago to make up the bowl. Sorry, forgot to take a pic, but you can see what it looks like in other galleries. Next time I will try one of the other ramen bowls. But we will always stop by when in the area, which is quite often.

Yelp
Brought my daughter here for a ramen dinner night. I was always a fan of the prior establishment, Monta Chaya, which unfortunately closed during the pandemic. It was about 7pm on a weekday and we had our choice of seating. We opted for the bar to watch the chefs prepare food. Servers were friendly, helpful, and attentive. Menu is limited but that's usually a sign that they've perfected a few key dishes rather than offering a multitude of mediocrity. Space is small, hosting maybe 6 or 7 parties and then additional bar seating, so I suppose on weekends you can expect a wait for a table. Parking is ample, as it is shared parking within the plaza. Food was good, no true complaints from me or my daughter. I appreciated that each of their ramen dishes had a description and had a specific noodle type that went with each item. I chose their Shogun Ramen, and my daughter picked the Classic Shoyu Ramen. I personally liked her noodle style better (thicker egg noodle maybe?), called the "No.22 Hokkaido & Tokyo Standard," vs. the one I got in my Shogun Ramen, which was a thinner "No.26 Hakata Standard" noodle. Being it was our first time with this menu, I had no idea what this meant and just rolled with it, but in hindsight I probably could have asked, or substituted for a thicker noodle, but all the same, I was appreciative to try the dish the way the chef intended. Noodles were a personal preference though, so I don't feel justified to knock it down more. The broths were outstanding though, and their Nitamago halves were DELICIOUS. Pro tip, let it sit in the broth for a bit, as I ate my daughter's half at the beginning of the meal and it was cold, but my egg had been in the hot broth longer and it was nice and warm. We also started the meal off with some gyoza - delicious and I really enjoyed their gyoza sauce which was readily available table-side. All in all, I would be open to eating here again, but would probably substitute for a thicker noodle. Great staff, layout and size is very reminiscent of a traditional Japanese ramen house, and well crafted menu options!

Yelp
Came in on a cold day so ramen was perfect! Not too busy around 6pm on a weekday. Ramen was rich and delicious and full of umami. Karaage was crispy and paired well with the spicy mayo it came with.

Yelp
My go to ramen joint off eastern/215 The ramen is amazing (my favorite is the Shogun ramen) ... the broth is sooooo flavorful and the noodles are always cooked perfectly. The service is impressive too... I like sitting at the bar and watching them prepare the food... great ambiance!

Savannah J.

Yelp
this was delicious! i ordered the miso ramen with the spicy paste online and it was so frickin good. my sister and i had a great dinner!

Yelp
Best ramen around Henderson fo' Sho'. Shogun Ramen is the newest ramen concept from the owners of the old-school local faves Monta Ramen and the oddly-flavorless-other-than-spicy Ramen Kobo. Shogun's first location open on Blue Diamond last year, and it immediately leapfrogged everyone else for best Vegas ramen in my view. The restaurant group decided to retire Monta Chaya here on Eastern by Richmar to introduce a second Shogun this week. I came in for the grand opening special, which was advertised and available to the public. Fifty tickets are being handed out for lunch and dinner each day this weekend for one bowl of ramen per person. I missed the first seating but was able to enjoy a complimentary canned UCC green tea while waiting in the shade outside. The menu is similar but not completely identical to Shogun Ramen #1. After some internal debate and consultation with friends, I defaulted to their namesake Shogun Ramen. It was every bit as intense as I recall, perhaps even down to the aggressive seasoning. I found it to be a little heavy on salt for my palate, but the creaminess of the broth is undeniable. The noodles were thin but al dente, the chashu in my bowl was on the very meaty side (rather than fatty), and the bamboo, sprouts, green onions, and nori were all fine. Service was prompt and efficient, especially for a new spot. The dining room is probably almost identical to how Monta Chaya looked since they had zero full days of closure. I'll be back when I get the craving and especially if I can encourage friends to stop in. I believe Shogun may not be the absolute best ramen in town, but it's top 3 or 4, and it's closer to me and/or more affordable than other candidates. I consider it a clear improvement over Monta Chaya and hope that it remains successful in this spot.

Yelp
After their other location closed (?) I found myself trying this one. Different location, same amazing ramen. The neo tonkotsu is the ultimate comfort food! I always add a side of chili oil to bring some heat, and they nail it every time. It's also packaged super well which is a major bonus for online orders.

Haynboi D.

Yelp
Nice small place, staff very professional. Had ramen and gyoza. Also tried the char sui buns. They have a limited menu which makes it easy to order. Wish they had tempura.

Alex S.

Yelp
I ate at the first Monta Chaya and it set the bar for ramen in the city. After Pandemic, this location reopened as Monta - but many of the popular items were now not on the menu. The response was to go to the China Town location and they still are on the menu there. After seeing Jinya Ramen move into Eastern and Sunridge Heights - it seemed like there was an opening for a bigger menu and more ramen. They missed the mark. Shogun moved in - they have brought the old Monta back. Pork Belly Rice - back, Shoyu - nailed it and now they have stretched into more menu items that make complete sense. The place was full prior to dinner and staff turned tables quickly. Price is close to the old Monta, quality is solid. If you are wanting the old Monta on Eastern - it is back - under a different name in Shogun with the favorites and (now various fried rice and octopus dumplings). Go for it when you want great comfort food at a good price that can get you in quickly to enjoy a great menu.

Yelp
Tried their Classic Shoyu Ramen and chicken karaage. It was delicious and flavorful with the noodles perfectly cooked. I'm glad it was another ramen restaurant took over Monta Chaya as ramen restaurants are a bit sparse in the Henderson area. Overall, food was great and service was quick.

S G.

Yelp
Just moved to Henderson and came here not realizing it changed ownership from Monta Chaya, when I was here last. Tried both the Neo Tonkotsu and Classic Shoyu and it wasn't bad but just seemed like it was missing something. The gyoza seemed slightly off too. I'm sure I'll be giving it another try as Ramen places are a bit sparse on this end of town.

Yelp
First time trying this Ramen place. We were taken to a table as soon as we walked in. The waitress was fairly friendly, but wasn't the best at answering questions, it might have been not hearing the complete question. The restaurant was nice, pretty clean and enough light. The food had good flavor and was decent size.

Yelp
A new favorite spot off the eastern corridor serving authentic ramen bowls with impeccably inviting service in a very quaint restaurant.. grand opening weekend was executed as seamlessly as a long standing wait staff and kitchen.. we both ordered the Shogun Signature ramen bowl off the staffs recommend.. a little rich Yes, a little creamy yes and umami yes.. indulgent YES!! This is ramen guaranteeing to please.. I did need to add a little extra heat which most conveniently found was available on the table in the form of chili oil and togorashi. Also was shoyu perfect augment to the salty, umami broth for those that may need. My only complaint was the 2.5oz or so of pork belly, though perfectly cooked and on the leaner side(to my liking) I will be paying the $3.5 upgrade for an additional 4 slices.. I would have enjoyed a cold draft pour or two of Sapporo over a happy hour pricing structure on this 120F heat wave.. but that's just me if my world was a perfect one today!!. Well executed Shogun, we look forward to seeing you soon!!

Yelp
I was so excited that Shogun was moving to Eastern (from Blue Diamond). Today was 115 outside and you would never know from the smiling faces of every employee during the Free Ramen Bowl promotion for opening weekend. What a class act & offered so graciously. I was the first person in line for the 5pm, 50 person giveaway. Everyone stayed in cars until our AC stopped working. People in line were super nice, too. I'm pretty sure this was the nicest promo giveaway I've been to and kudos to the servers, but especially staff offering free green tea or Calpico cans while we waited. Even Shachou/Ramen Master Foo was in the kitchen for the opening. I added extra negi & butter to my ramen, per my usual. The giveaway is Sunday 7/16, too but even if you miss it, please give Shogun a try. Especially if you are fans of Ramen Sora. Fukumimi or some of the other sweet ramen spots in and around town. Again, omedetou gozaimasu to the Shogun team on their new location. Thank you for your kindness & generosity on this scorching hot day in Henderson. We are so lucky that with all the traffic around town, this is one less reason I need to go to Spring Mountain. Arigato gozaimashita

Rigby A.

Yelp
Used to be Monta Chaya? New ownership/management? Great spot for some legit ramen. Gyoza is pretty good as well. Not down to pay extra $1.50 to make my soup spicy tho.. since they have chili oil and powder at every table, i am all g wid it. Place is good all season will come visit more in cold nights. I must add that kid took my order wrong .. i asked for miso n got classic shoyu .. aint trippen will make sure that i get wut i really want nxt time

Carlos E.

Yelp
Reminds you of the small ramen places in Tokyo or Kyoto, with great tasting chicken Karage and ramen to match! Now serving katsu curry, as well! Legit! It's a wonderful neighborhood spot where the quality is far more superior than Jinya and easily challenges or exceeds its competitors in Black Diamond or Chinatown in Spring Mountain. If you're looking for a fancy ramen spot, with large square footage from floor - this isn't for you. But if you want really good ramen or other Japanese favorites and excellent service, and you don't want to travel far- this is for you.

Shelli C.

Yelp
I miss Monte Chaya. We ordered takeout and there was hardly any broth. It was like warm at best. The crispy rice cakes were cold and tasted like frozen hash browns. My broth smelled like chemicals. The umami oil was powder in the bottom of a soufflé cup with a little liquid. The noodles tasted and looked like angel hair pasta and it wasn't cooked thoroughly.. The broth was cloudy and flavorless. The bamboo was crunchy. The eggs looked rotten. I will not be going back. Time to find a new ramen spot.

Cpl. C.

Yelp
This is the best ramen I've had in a very long time, all of the ramens are great, I like the shogun ramen the best! The pork chashu buns are the best thing I've ever had and are my new comfort food. I love the location and eat here often

JoAnn T.

Yelp
Disappointing. I will never eat here. I had higher hopes for this place since it's part of the same company that has Monta in their umbrella but this is the worst ramen.

Davis C.

Yelp
This ramen place has great offerings of japanese culinary favorites. The ramen we had and the pork belly rice were amazing. The place is immaculate. All the staff was very friendly; Tomo (restaurant manager) was very nice. Definitely we will be back to try the other items on their menu.

Vicki E.

Yelp
Had the Miso ramen: Great, smooth flavor with noodles perfectly cooked. Three choices of tea, hot or cold. Service: prompt, friendly, and informative when questions asked. Felt the price was on target for what you got. I think I just discovered a new go to ramen place.

Danielle C.

Yelp
They used to be Monta ramen and I was nervous to try this one but they have the same recipe in their ramen. It made me so happy their ramen is the best around.

Anthony ..

Yelp
Very tasty Ramen. The Ramen was firm and the soup was excellent. I also tried the pork curry. It was very tendor and tasty.

Angela L.

Yelp
Service was extremely poor, we were recommended to sit at the bar by the servers only to be served last after a few more parties sat after us. Only menus were given. No drinks were offered. After 15 mins of waiting for service, we made efforts to display our disappointment to the server, Ashlynn, only to be given an insincere apology and cut our conversation short, because another party's food was ready. The management within the facility also lacks leadership and hospitality. The manager Tomo, displayed underrated customer service and also gave a dismissive apology. Worse ramen place ever. Noodles and more is where we ended up going and turned to be our new go to ramen spot.

Shinai C.

Yelp
Delicious ramen and great service! I'm gluten free and love miso ramen. I don't remember the last time I ate miso ramen since most places don't have gluten free noodles. This place has gluten free kale noodles as an option if you want and with the miso broth it was fantastic. Tried their tonkotsu broth and that was also good. My friend loves the vegan ramen here. I love that they have something for everyone and food quality and service are also good 10/10 for me!

Kris N.

Yelp
I liked it. It was empty the day in there which is sometimes a bad sign, but I thought it was very good.

Steve T.

Yelp
We wanted to try this place since it took over for Monta which doesn't have any relations with Monta based from what the staff told me. We had their Neo tonkatsu with extra chasu. Their chasu lacked the sear flavor from other ramen places and tasted bland. We had to had fresh grated garlic to boost the flavor. I was hoping this place would be our new close/local ramen joint but have to keep looking. It will be good in a pinch but not a staple.

Allan A.

Yelp
Service is 5 star, but the new shogun ramen broth is too salty both tonkatsu broth and shoyu im a little disappointed after finding out that they went with a different ramen chef; i hope they can bring it back to monta ramen recipe special thanks to all the crew of the old monta chaya

Troy G.

Yelp
great ramen I like the thick noodle's. And the mango mochi is like a tropical forest exploding in my mouth like hot damn that is the best ice cream mochi ive ever had!!!

Jack G.

Yelp
Bring back the old menu, so much better than the bowls you serve now. Can't even order a basic bowl of tonkotsu.

Avery R.

Yelp
Walked in and the place smelled like rotten eggs. Wanted to give the place a try, walked out after 2 minutes.

Anne M.

Yelp
This place is amazing! I would recommend it for sure, it's so flavorful. It's now one of my go to places for some quick ramen.

Jenny H.

Yelp
Went on their grand opening day. Excellent attentive staff. Ordered the Shogun Ramen which was delicious and filling. Highly recommend!

Pau A.

Yelp
favorite go-to ramen place ! the shogun ramen's broth was a bit salty, but i still enjoyed it. the pork chashu fried rice, chashu buns, and takoyaki were very delicious. customer service was good. it can feel cramped when ur seated at the small tables in the middle of the restaurant. overall, i highly recommend this place if ur in the area
