Milan’s outpost opened in 2024 and is run by a warm, second-generation Chinese Milanese who has designed the space to feel straight out of modern-day Shanghai. I really like the food at this restaurant. I've been there 2-3 times and it's great. They have a very spicy hot pot and I really like it. The staff is good and the service is fast and convenient. However, it's a bit difficult to find parking.

I was really pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! 🥢 The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming — perfect for meeting up with friends or family. The idea of preparing and seasoning your own food in hotpot style was a lot of fun and a completely new culinary experience. I was also surprised by the jellies, which turned out to be delicious and unique. I’ll definitely come back here again!

While I appreciated the opportunity to try hot pot, I must admit that I did not particularly enjoy the experience. The service was commendable, but the need to watch cooking time of each food was a bit inconvenient. Furthermore, the flavors of the dishes themselves did not quite meet my expectations, with the exception of the salsa provided by the waiter, which was quite pleasant. The mochi was very good. Overall, I have concluded that hot pot is not to my personal taste.

We’re from Houston, where great hot pot is everywhere and we eat it weekly — Shoo Loong Kan in Milan is right up there with the best. Amazing broths, fresh ingredients, and a stunning dragon-and-lantern atmosphere. 5/5, must-visit.

The place was recommended to me by one of my Chinese friends, and I can see why! The food was really tasty, and the service was great! They asked us if it's our first time eating hotpot (which it was), and then explained to us how it works. They kept checking on us and giving us advice on how to best enjoy the experience! The price is more than fair for the quality of food. We definitely would be going back!
