"In comparison to regular matzos, egg matzos almost qualify as dessert. Streit’s have a little sweetness and are “very distinctly eggy,” qualities that led one taster to compare their flavor to pie crust." - Rebecca Flint Marx

I love my local Shoprite. I pick up groceries from their pick up service every Sunday and go in if I need something besides the main order. It's a nice store and I've only had good experiences with the staff there. Store pick up is a great option and I've had very few issues with substitutions. Always seems well stocked.

Alert: when you buy seafoods at the seafood counter, make sure the staff put the right price tag on your order! My order was put the totally wrong price tag a while ago (before 4:00pm, 09/09/2022) when I bought a live lobster. I didn’t usually pay attention to how much the price was but today I did when the seafood counter staff was weighing my lobster as I was wondering how big it would be. So I noticed the weight was 1.6 some pounds, total price was $16 and change with unit price of $9.99/lb. However, when I was checking out, I heard the machine repeating the price in the amount of over $22! I was surprised why it came out so much. Then I saw the tag printed 2.02lbs and price was $22 and change. So I told the self-check-out assistant. He weighed it on the checkout machine and it read 1.65lbs, but then the price showed $18.13, with unit price of $10.99! I had to ask to talk to the manager. Then another gentleman came to help me and took the lobster back to the seafood counter just to find out that I was right! I appreciated the cashier who came to help solve the problem. But for customers, you better look at the price when your seafood was weighing and then make sure you didn’t get the wrong tag! Other than that, ShopRite had always been one of my favorite grocery stores because of the fresh food and good prices. And the store is quite neat and clean.

Stopped here for the first and last time yesterday. The selection is so limited. Majority of the strawberries were mushy and molded. No where near the grocery selection of other shoprites in the area. I wound up only getting a few things off my list and wound up just going to a better shoprite. I wanted to look up the owner info and found a Facebook full of hate filled posts. This is extremely concerning to me as it would be hard for some people to feel safe coming to this store. I’ll stick with my local store from now on.

I love this shoprite..I just moved to nyc and yes I did take my 2 hour ride to go get this pull apart cake for my daughter..... had days calling bjs and sams here in the city but never got threw. These guys took my order over the phone... all the representatives are nice on the phone or in person. They have great customer service skills. The ladies at the bakery helped me out, I ended up getting some cookies and chocolate cover pretzels :-)

I really like this ShopRite. They have everything when it comes to choices. Their chips aisle is filled with different varieties of flavors that I don't find in other stores. Also, they carry my favorite ice cream flavor which I don't find anywhere else. Thanks, ShopRite.

My fiancé and I came here this morning to make an exchange of an item we purchased. We didn’t realize, we brought the wrong receipt. Anyways, it shouldn’t have been an issue being that we are reward members and always use our phone number when we purchase. Today, we came to the customer service desk and there was a gentleman name Bill. Now Bill seemed to be very nice to everyone there. As soon as my partner asks to make the exchange and realized we brought the wrong receipt, we gave Bill our number that the receipt is listed on. He immediately seemed irritated when we insisted on checking our rewards card for the receipt of purchase. He was completely stand off towards my partner specifically. (He is a black mixed male) I did realize he was being very rude and dismissive towards him. Basically, he was trying to say we didn’t purchase the item we had. I didn't want to say anything to cause any conflict because I thought maybe he was having a bad day. Who knows? Then I noticed, when Caucasian ppl came and asked for assistance by him, he immediately rushed to help them with a smile on his face with no issues at all. I am so surprised that racism still exists in this day and age!!! I am a Latina, white passing women; so I never first handed witnessed racism. Bill is truly a racist and it showed clear as day. IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR, PLEASE BE AWARE OF BILL! He will cause difficulties for you and act like he cannot help you out. I did call and spoke with Heather who is manager. She apologized and that’s it. There needs to be disciplinary action taken or a report made against him. I am still in shock what happened and how uncomfortable he made ME feel and I WASN’T even the person he was being racist towards!!! My fiancé was furious and felt completely discriminated! We spend AT LEAST $200 a week to buy groceries!!!! We will definitely gives our services else where and avoid this ShopRite as much as possible if nothing is done abt this!!!!

When I was 10 years old, I ran away to the ShopRite. I would always go to the bakery and take a bag full of cookies to take back home because my mom was starving me at the motel six where I lived I always wanted to say thank you to the ShopRite staff here for always being so kind to me. That was the only bit of kindness I ever had growing up around this area. I had always wish somebody would call and get me help and they did so thank you.
