The Best-Tasting Matzo for Passover - Eater

"In comparison to regular matzos, egg matzos almost qualify as dessert. Streit’s have a little sweetness and are “very distinctly eggy,” qualities that led one taster to compare their flavor to pie crust." - Rebecca Flint Marx

Okay so today at 5pm est, I was totally humiliated over a price plus sale. I was told by ShopRite’s staff that I could not redeem a coupon for Good Humor Ice Cream. I was extremely humiliated and shamed at the register. Something about being in this place felt very eerie and was soul draining. I am headed to The ER for pain and suffering felt like their reaction caused me to have a mini stroke. The stroke is unconfirmed, I just felt the symptoms. I told them how much those Klondike bars and Goodhumor bars meant to me. I’d encourage any customer to beware shopping at this MT laurel Shoprite. They can give two craps about their customers needs, please beware? No one had compassion for my needs at this location. They are Never clear with their price plus deals either. They literally caused me to feel like I was having a mini severe health issue. I’m headed to the Urgent Care if one is open at this hour. It’s March 12th, 2025 at 5:42 pm. How can they sleep at night knowing they are not clear on sales and no empathy for a middle age loyal customer. The feeling there is blistering cold🥶 like being on a ICU life-support floor at the hospital. I’ve been shopping with them for years. This location doesn’t deserve this one star rating, it’s really too much to give a store like this. However, I have to rate them something to make this review on Google. Update, when I got home yesterday evening my neighbor helped me get to another Shoprite. The other Shoprite treated me with professional class and was more sterile. I didn’t need the ER or Urgent care afterall. I did an energy cleanse to get my soul back in shape from talking to Nixon drive Shoprite staff. I also had to soak my muscles in a high concentrated bag of Epsom Salt. Shoprite on Nixon drive is covered in darkness you can feel it. It’s like the devils playground. You will need to see your religion’s high priest or bishop for a tap of holy water after a visit there. They hired some fallen angels for sure. Their lips were shape shifting as they were talking to me. It was scary how they said “you can’t get this deal on your Klondike bars!” Moreover, while being in that moment observing them tell me that, their lips were traveling through a portal unknown to mankind. Please carry your Bible and holy water in your purse at all times? Pray to the almighty before you shop there.

Poor customer service and treated me like a shoplifter! I'm completing delivery orders and have been to this location 3 times today and I SCAN EVERY ITEM DONT NEED TO STEAL yet they had full self checkout and at least 3 employees were watching me check out around 220-230pm 6/21/25! If yall are going to watch at least help scan the items so you can know no one is stealing! They watched only me while there were at least 6 other customers at self checkout stations! Will be filing a corporate complaint this is the 3rd time today!

Alert: when you buy seafoods at the seafood counter, make sure the staff put the right price tag on your order! My order was put the totally wrong price tag a while ago (before 4:00pm, 09/09/2022) when I bought a live lobster. I didn’t usually pay attention to how much the price was but today I did when the seafood counter staff was weighing my lobster as I was wondering how big it would be. So I noticed the weight was 1.6 some pounds, total price was $16 and change with unit price of $9.99/lb. However, when I was checking out, I heard the machine repeating the price in the amount of over $22! I was surprised why it came out so much. Then I saw the tag printed 2.02lbs and price was $22 and change. So I told the self-check-out assistant. He weighed it on the checkout machine and it read 1.65lbs, but then the price showed $18.13, with unit price of $10.99! I had to ask to talk to the manager. Then another gentleman came to help me and took the lobster back to the seafood counter just to find out that I was right! I appreciated the cashier who came to help solve the problem. But for customers, you better look at the price when your seafood was weighing and then make sure you didn’t get the wrong tag! Other than that, ShopRite had always been one of my favorite grocery stores because of the fresh food and good prices. And the store is quite neat and clean.

Google
This ShopRite is quite big and never crowded. These also have premium items that aren’t available at every ShopRite, like Board’s Head lunchmeat & cheeses. There’s also many seasonal items that you can buy here. So definitely go here you will not be disappointed!

Every time I shop at a Shoprite, any shoprite, I always have something not ring up what it's listed. When asked to correct the problem the cashiers are the most useless human beings on the planet. They'll say something like "Well the sticker says it's the generic brand" Yeah, well your shelver put all 16 cartons in that spot, making it look like that item is that price. I don't have time to read the fine print on 100 items when I'm doing my grocery runs. I have chosen to PAY MORE MONEY ELSEWHERE to not have an infuriating experience every time I shop.

Between 10:00am-10:15am today, I was using the self checkout line with less than 16 items,a Black woman, middle age with long, thin dreads and glasses that typically works at the self check out area began to harass me. Now I've seen her plenty of times throughout my years of shopping at this particular ShopRite so maybe she was having a bad day today, but it was very uncalled for. I scanned my ShopRite plus card and then began scanning my items, after the second item this woman tells me that I need to move my cart closer to the edge of the self check out (stating "The groceries won't register if you do that") I was simply scanning my groceries and placing them in my bags that I layed out inside of the cart, Something I wanted to point out an older woman did right in front of me as I waited for my turn, yet this employee didn't say a word to her as I've noticed. I said "okay" and proceeded scanning the rest of my items ,placing each item in my bags that were (placed in my cart still) ,and then this employee stopped me Again and said "your bags need to actually be here" pointing her finger at the self check out table area as if she wanted me to take my bags out of my chart. I looked up at the 3 older woman who were using the exact same checkout lines, scanning and packing their groceries While Their Bags were (in their carts) as well, yet the employee continued to harass me as she said such words again. "Your groceries won't register if you do that, the bags actually have to be here (pointing her finger at the black table below the self check out register) I responded saying "okay" but continued bagging my groceries how I've been doing for YEARS now, just like the other women I could see doing the exact same thing. I heard her mumble something under her breath but I figured she must be having a bad day and decided to take that frustration out on me. I have NEVER experienced such harassment from an employee at this ShopRite ,and as a former ShopRite employee and just a human with integrity in general, this was highly disappointing, disrespectful and unacceptable.Nothing can justify such unprofessional and Discriminatory behavior .This made me Extremely uncomfortable. Hopefully this employee can receive Extensive training on how to properly interact with customers. I'm not sure what's gotten into this employee considering I have seen her on and off over the past four years and she Seemed to be very kind and respectful till my encounter with her Today.

I love this shoprite..I just moved to nyc and yes I did take my 2 hour ride to go get this pull apart cake for my daughter..... had days calling bjs and sams here in the city but never got threw. These guys took my order over the phone... all the representatives are nice on the phone or in person. They have great customer service skills. The ladies at the bakery helped me out, I ended up getting some cookies and chocolate cover pretzels :-)

Lorraine Neal

Google
I think if you have the ShopRite card , the sale items should be just come off. It’s a pain and when I ask the lady to help me today, she act like I should know this. It’s not good for older people , we don’t download and text like that. She found a coupon to use and I thanked her, she just walked away like I bothered her, ITS YOUR JOB! Terrible customer service. I worked retail all my life, I think some people just don’t need to have these jobs. Also I use to work at ShopRite long ago. I try to scan the icon and got in, filled out everything and couldn’t remember password, wanted me to change it, I’m shopping, trying to watch my surroundings, it’s too much, Can the get rid of the scan and download .. please.

Yelp
Not a great experience today. Otherwise is is an average to small SR. They seem to be refurbishing the refrigerators in the meat department. There is very little chicken available, Lost one star. At 2PM on a weekday, there were only 2 cashiers on duty. Both were packed. Lost a second star. Overcharged me for an item that was on sale, but didn't ring correctly. Two more points gone.

Yelp
Young man that works at the deli ROCKS. I CAN NOT get anyone to cut my deli meats and cheeses thin like I like, but he nailed it. It took a little more time (which is to be expected) but he was sweet and patient. Awesome experience.

Pamela X.

Yelp
terrible. I can't say how awful the deli is!!! you can order 3 days prior and it still won't be ready! get an email CONFIRMING it's done and guess what?!? no one knows wtf you're taking about! worst place in the area. stay far away
google avatar

Yelp
Unfortunately had to use good Ol' shop-rite today and again they disappoint! Deli VERY slow, employees hanging out in the back joking laughing, only one person (woman) working the counter. Used Kiosk this time, spent 45 minutes shopping, came back to deli when finished shopping and order still not ready. Not sure who is responsible and I dont think they care.

Yelp
COVID19 Quarantine Review; I've frequented the ShopRite of Mt. Laurel since I was a child. And recently with COVID19 issues, it's my primary grocery store as I aim to get everything in one place. In light of COVID19 issues, Shop Rite has implemented several new measures. They've posted social distancing signs, changed the check out process and added a shield for their check out attendees. They've also started a facebook group to keep the community informed on stock of popular items like toilet paper and cleaning supplies. Each time I've done a grocery run, I've been super impressed with the inventory. I've been able to get everything on my list. I'm also impressed with the staff here, in spite of everything they're as friendly and helpful as ever.

Yelp
Arrived at 8:45 ordered lunch meat on the screen they close at 10 the guy was rude behind the counter, the screen said we wouldn't get it until 6am? We're there now? And wouldn't do it... literally no one knows how to work anymore sad!

Yelp
Omg! This place is amazing. It has expanded over the years and has an incredible amount a variety to offer. Prices are fair, staff are friendly and the store is consistently being restocked and cleaned. They carry all major brands as well as organic and gluten-free products. Why pay high prices at so called upscale stores? Been shopping here for decades and rarely need to shop anywhere else unless buying bulk items.

Laurie S.

Yelp
This store is really going down hill . My first complaint is the lack of meat even on first day of the sale. No one will answer the bell and come out to assist you. Second, is the deli department. They never get my order correct. I ask for thin cut, it's thick. Ask for 1/2lb nope it's a whole pound. The kiosk is a total waste of time because it's never ready and still have to wait while they start your orider. Third, I refuse to use self check out and have someone watch to ensure that I'm ringing up every item. But going to a cashier isn't much better as I have only had one cashier bag my groceries. Most will let all the food pile up and just look like at like you need to hurry up. Prior to the plastic bag ban, every cashier bagged as they were ringing up your order. Last, limited cashiers but several workers standing around the registers and by the exit. I will be going to Cinnaminson ShopRite.

Yelp
I stopped in Sunday evening to pick up a few grocery items. Went to the checkout and the cashier was viewing cell phone photos of the customer in front of me and laughing and carrying on while ignoring me and her duties as a cashier. The cashier looked at me and said if I'm in a hurry just go to the self checkout line. I told her to just do her job. She became rude and calling me mean and intentionally took her time to ensure more waiting. I called the manager and shared my poor experience as a customer. My take on it is that Sunday evenings when it's not busy the employees do what ever they want and the hell with the customer. They really need to teach their employees courtesy and customer service. I was never treated so rude and insulted as a customer.

Yelp
I'm awesome at self checkout-I'm faster than most cashiers. It's something I'm proud of while I watch other shoppers struggle I love to finish my order and be on my way, but not here. There is a miserable and mean woman who works at the self checkout area and she has made it her mission in life to dash over to me while checking out and harass me. She once insisted that I was in line with more than 20 items and shouldn't be there. She proceeded to scream at me in front of other customers and scold me (I had 18 items and showed her the receipt and she shut up so fast!) Last night I was in with my partner and we were buying separate things each of us had 7 or 8 items but we used the same checkout lane because of COVID concerns. I was ringing up my items and she came over behind me and started screaming at both of us that we needed to use different lanes because it was two orders. (There was no line-it was 9 pm and we were using the same lane for safety-and all said it was under 20 items) She is a miserable troll and apparently screaming at people about how to use self checkout is the only power in her sad little life.

Mason T.

Yelp
The whole place is a crap shoot. The deli is the worst!!! can't sue the kiosk because even after 4 hours your lunchmeat isn't cut and ready...... can't use the seafood because they undercook your food making it expensive and inedible..... customers service?!? Prepare to wait for help as they have no one there!! sad place from years ago. I'll shop elsewhere
google avatar

Yelp
Sarcasm not needed. I as a loyal customer who is 50 years old don't appreciate young "SJW" cashiers who obviously have mental issues. Tell me sarcastically to be safe because I don't always have my mask over my nose. I don't believe it's her/his job to harass me while I am having my order checked out.
google avatar

Jasmin M.

Yelp
This Store is the WORST!! Self checkouts never work. 2 or 3 cashiers working. The staff is shitty too and no help. Back to Acme I go.
google avatar

Harriett T.

Yelp
Went shopping here today after not visiting this location for a while. Was VERY SURPRISED to see the homeless man outside the store begging for money. Could not figure out why shoppers should be subjected to this and how the homeless man "adds" to a positive shopping experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Great job to the bakery department! The cake my son had them make for his 9th birthday was outstanding! They did a fantastic job with the Flyers logo. The cake was delicious! I can't thank you enough!
google avatar

Yelp
This is supposed to be one of their flagship stores in the area. I usually make my weekly trip to the Union Mill Road ShopRite but a trip to the AT&T store to fix my charger was in order so this was closest. Let's just say that bigger isn't better. Dirty, gross, rude customers, and the food displays weren't much better. We got what we wanted and as always, bagged our own groceries in our canvas bags that we bring weekly. We won't be back-- checkout guy (his first day) was super nice but his register kept getting hung up every time he scanned deli items.
google avatar

Yelp
Horrible customer service. On 9/12/2020 at 6 pm, I went up to customer service counter to ask for a rewards card and I was just ignored when there were 2 of them behind the counter. Then 2 more workers showed up to have their own conversation while still ignoring me. I am new to the are and thought I would do my weekly grocery shopping here but have decide to find another store where workers are not just there to get their hours and pay but there to help customers once and a while.

Jeannine M.

Yelp
I want to thank Cindy for being an outstanding representative!! She is very knowledgeable, courteous, patient, and kind. very, very kind. She really expresses a caring and professional attitude. It wasn't hard to see that the high level of quality of service, at the Mt Laurel location, begins with her. If all other ShopRite locations are ran like this one, I look forward to being a returning customer! Thank you!!
google avatar

Alanna B.

Yelp
There's much to be desired at this location for Shop Rite. It makes me feel depressed. Maybe because it is a smaller store? Why bother going here when Wegans is right down the street. I prefer the Marlton location or the other Mount Laurel location. I think this location needs improvements on it's overall appearance. I will stop here if I need something in area, but not to focus on my main shopping.

Patti M.

Yelp
I can not be more impressed by this store. I tried the Shop from Home tool. It was a convenience I hadn't tried before but circumstances changed and I had to try it...or no groceries for the week. FWIW, the Ravitz family seems to have invested heavily on updating the physical store and it's wonderful. Thoughtfully laid out, easy to find things, and great aisle navigation. So...no complaints! But!!!!! Once I tried the shop from home, I was pleasantly surprised how equally great the experience was! I got one of those surveys about my experience. I filled it out, but I'm never sure if anyone reads them. Within hours, I got a personal email explaining features I wasn't aware existed! Also, my suggestion was actually read and I learned it's already a planned enhancement. The time taken to respond to me really threw me over-the-top and I'm an official lifer to the Ravitz owned store. Heck, I'll look for another should I be on the road. Thank you, Ravitz Family, for actually caring about your customers and earning our $'s. You have a lot to be proud of and I look forward to many more shopping trips - in person and on-line in the future!! Happy Holidays!
google avatar

Karen T.

Yelp
Still a chain supermarket, but tied with the Marlton Shop Rite as the best Shop Rite in the area (and in general one of the best supermarkets in the area). Pretty good variety of offerings, bathrooms are working, prices are good for things on sale, etc. The layout is a little different than some other stores, but nothing too crazy than others. It seems like they have one or two more extra brands than some of the other stores.
google avatar

James C.

Yelp
I been going to this Shoprite since it opened years ago. Over the years I can say that my shopping experience has been average. I recently went to the Cinnaminson Shoprite and I swear I heard angels singing. Hopefully when they are done all the construction going on in the Mount Laurel store it will be more like the Cinnaminson Shoprite. You might want to get rid of the homeless man in front, its a real downer.

Lisa S.

Yelp
I was hoping for a great new experience since they remodeled. Didn't happen. I went there Friday around 6 pm to pick up a few things. The new deli section looked great so I decided to pick up a rotisserie chicken. The time stamp on it was 7:58 am!!!! When I asked the deli guy for assistance he said he was in break. I went to customer service and they paged the manager twice. She came out and the first thing she said was "I heard you the first time". I explained to her my concern that all the chickens were there for 10 hours and she said in a nasty voice they were ok since they were under the light. Seriously? Then she walked away. Food that is being heated for 10 hours? Disgusting. Won't be going back.
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
For many years, this has been my go-to grocery store. They've gone through multiple renovations and reorganizations, but remain friendly, clean, and easy to navigate. A bit larger than your average grocery store, this one carries some specialty products that you can't find elsewhere, plus the variety of brands is huge. I'm especially partial to the pharmacy, which is run by an extremely friendly guy who knows my family by name (and prescription). Another plus is the parking lot and traffic flow here - it's never overcrowded or congested, and some side parking makes it really easy to run in and out.
google avatar

Nick S.

Yelp
The managers there, one in particular, haven't got a clue about how to run a store. It's packed with so many people that they're going from the checkout lanes into the isles because they only have 3 lanes open out of what 14? That's a continuous problem. I talked to a manager there, but she acted like she didn't give a crap. Apparently she doesn't because it was the same thing over and over. Seafood section is disgusting, but that's par for the course for them. When I go I know it's going to be a pain in the ass, but we have to eat.
google avatar

Tara G.

Yelp
I never thought I would say this, especially about a grocery store, but this place is just too damn big. I mean, it's huge and nearly impossible to navigate if you don't know the store very well. I came here to run in and grab a few things on my way home from work, and I instead found myself constantly running from one end of the store to the other because of the poor layout. This was really a drag because I was exhausted and really just wanted to go home. I can say that I was impressed with their selection of meats as well as the produce. They had more variety than my local Shop Rite, and everything looked really fresh. Maybe I'll swing by here again when I have more time to get lost.

Stephen P.

Yelp
I am done with this store..I was absolutely berated by the "fast lane" cashier because I went 4 items over the limit..I wasn't allowed to finish checking out until I promised not to do it again.. Sorry I didn't accurately count each item as I walked through the store..The people on the other lane had to put items back so they were allowed to finish their order... I honestly could not believe what I heard or saw.. Go to Cinnaminson 5 minutes down the street for a cleaner store and better selection..
google avatar

Jocelyn M.

Yelp
I've been doing shop from home for the past several months without problem. Today, however, the app changed my produce order from .5 lbs of grapes to .25 lbs of grapes. Who would bother buying .25 lbs of grapes? And the "wonderful" employee at the Nixon Dr. Mt. Laurel NJ store even took my coupon for grapes. Guess that store is really looking out for its customers.
google avatar

Sofia H.

Yelp
I normally shop at the Rt.38 Mt Laurel ShopRite (different owners) but stopped at this location today. After choosing 3 items that had no shelf price tags I asked an employee where I could find a price checker. I was amazed to hear that they don't have one! They're obviously hoping that you'll just buy things without bothering to find out the price! I was so annoyed that each of the items was put back on the nearest shelf. I won't be returning. Oh, and a star off for bad, loud 80's music
google avatar

Linda P M.

Yelp
The staff is friendly and helpful, however the produce is very poor just paid $3.38 for 4 peaches all of which had to be discarded. They looked great on the outside but when cut open they were brown and rotting on the inside. This has happened numerous times in this store. Also you really need to check expiration dates on all foods because many times the items are well passed their dates of expiration. I have had to discard cold cuts that I purchased in the deli section as well, after a day or two they are either dried out or greasy. One gets the feeling that this store is not purchasing top of the line products to sell but lower grade and cheaper priced foods. I have had a better shopping experience at other Shoprite Stores but they are a significant distance from my home so I continue to hope there will be improvement here if customers publish specific areas that require improvement.
google avatar

Steven N.

Yelp
This is a decent ShopRite, nothing extraordinary, but it usually has most of the things I need. Appearance inside and outside is kind of dated, but the store seems clean enough. There is a lack of price signage by some of the snacks, across from the orange juice and milk, which is frustrating. The staff is a hit or miss; there are some friendly employees; and some not-so-friendly ones. Overall, Shop Rite isn't my go-to grocery store. I go once, maybe twice a month, but I do like this one better than the one in Marlton. I agree with other reviews, and the parking lot is not crowded, which is a plus for me!
google avatar

Seth K.

Yelp
Went to this ShopRite last week and was furious with their lack of customer service. There were several associates in the aisles stocking and putting up prices and although I passed each of them fifteen to twenty times (not exaggerating) while I was trying to find the last item on my list, not one of them offered to assist me. I've worked in retail for years and I know that what separates one retail chain store from another is customer service. There are cleaner, cheaper and more convenient grocery stores in the Mt Laurel area and I think ShopRite needs to take that into consideration when training their employees.

Jessica M.

Yelp
Disappointed in this location. It's old, the carts are falling apart with no seat buckles, the aisles are all crowded and products are placed in odd locations. The cashiers and manager are extremely difficult when it comes to coupons and not friendly. I will not return here and do not recommend shopping at this location.
google avatar

Heather B.

Yelp
I have used the Shop from Home for over 8 years at this location and could not be happier about it. The staff is friendly and helpful. I receive phones calls whenever there is an out of stock item as well as suggestions for substitutions. We also have received many samples of items (that we now buy regularly). As a busy working mom with active kids, this service is well worth the $5.95 fee. Love this store!

David K.

Yelp
Kindness trumps all things. Yes, this store needs new scales because the old ones are beaking down. No, inconveniences in life are not the end of the world when managers and employees turn out their best efforts as they did tonight. I was really nuce to be personally helped in a difficult and stressful situation. Certainly the owners of this store can do better by updating their equipment.
google avatar

Joseph L.

Yelp
Worst Shop Rite in the area, However it is also the closest to me. I will not do my main shopping here as their selection is not great. I will run in and get things as needed. Associates are friendly but not very helpful due to a poor knowledge base of products allegedly available in the store. The deli counter will give me double the amount of what I order UGH.. It's not terrible, but just not that great with all of the other great choices in the area. I wish it was better as I am a big fan of SHopRite.
google avatar

Behn K.

Yelp
I have been coming to this Shop Rite for about 7 years now. We have tried to check out the en vogue ones like Wegmans or Whole Foods, but i always end up coming back here. The staff is friendly and they always have what I need. It is clean and going early in the morning typically means a quick visit. There is just no reason to go anywhere else!
google avatar

Ottis B.

Yelp
One of the better Shop Rites around with one exception. Their self checkout really stinks. I have used the self checkout multiple time, and I sware, I've had a problem with their equipment every time. Why they don't either get new equipment or overhaul what they have is beyond me.

Lynn R.

Yelp
I stopped shopping here when wegmans opened. I do the pickup service on occasion, however, when my ankle is giving me a problem. It's a great program If they call you when there is a question on your online order. One of my items was three 5 oz portions of coho salmon individually wrapped (my instructions went into the comment section). When I got home I immediately took out the fish to freeze the portions. To my dismay the fish was In three pieces, but not individuallly wrapped and it was rancid. It stunk up my whole kitchen I also asked for a pound chunk of jarlesberg. Now I know that it would be a chunk as close to a pound as possible, but was given two chunks weighing almost 1.75 lbs and that is ridiculous. When I examined the rest of my order I saw that my caramels were not there either. I Immediately contacted the Shop at Home department, but they were not helpful at all. They questioned me about the caramels because their list said they were packed. Now why would I lie about a $2.79 item when there were expensive things in my order? I transferred to the manager on duty who had an attitude and told me to bring the items back and go to the candy aisle and get the caramels to bring to customer services and they would take care of it. She also made sure to tell me that whatever I brought back gets trashed and they're out the money. No I'm sorrry -- nothing.. I ended up throwing out the fish, keeping all the cheese and just writing off the caramels because I will get them at wegmans where customer service is first and foremost. After all, there was a reason i used their service in the first place -- I was having issues and couldn't shop the aisles so why would I come there. Don't bother calling the customer service line either. It's a general line for all shoprites and they do nothing.

Yelp
The deli at the shoprite has declined drastically over the last few months. The employees are not quality oriented nor cleanliness driven. The meat slicers are filthy ant not cleaned often enough. Could you imagine what's going on in that kitchen behind the deli. Is it poor training or a poor deli manager? Won't be stopping at this deli for some time unless things clean up

Yelp
A week ago, early in morning.. My wife and I went to the this location to do some shopping. We were at an isle when an empolyee who was stocking can goods and he pushed a loaded cart filled with cans between my wife pregnant stomach and the shelves, leaving about 7 inches. He didn't say excuses me at all. When I confronted this guy ( old guy with long white duck dynasty look a like). He said, but I didn't hit her.

Yelp
When I "shop the sale" here, I always have problems. The items frequently don't reflect the sale price, they are out of stock, etc. The cashiers, deli, managers give you a hard time. You can get a rain check - but to go to customer service, call the manager, can take 30 min. or more, making it just not worth it. Just an "emergency stop" for me since it is near my house.

Yelp
terrible customer service. I weighed my produce at the store and their scale was wrong. Then the cashier rescanned my items and I had to pay the difference because of their faulty scale. Left an item in my cart because of being distracted from my sick kid....called 30 minutes later and they said there is nothing they can do for me. Disappointed.

Yelp
By far the worst Shoprite in the area actually within walking distance from my house but still rather get in my car and drive to Burlington, Morestown, or Hainesport...Could care less if they closed tomorrow

Yelp
My Family & I have shopped at this location since it opened up. Never really had an issue with the places till the last 2 years. As the years have passed, it has become the worse one in the area and it truly shows. The place is always deserted as most of the shoppers have stopped shopping there (when there's more workers then shoppers, you know something is up.) They seem to always be out of lots of their products, and the place always seems to be a mess with items put in wrong locations & many boxes already opened & lots of items still on the shelves with expired expiration dates. Most of the cashiers are rude and push all the grocery's off to you, for you to pack everything yourself while they stand there and wait till you finished so they can scan more. So Rude! NEVER used to be like that, they always would bag for you & if you wanted to help you could, you were never forced to. Now you have to do their job for them! I can't even express the looks of their fruit. Their grapes & strawberries are ALWAYS moldy, if they even have any. I pointed out the mold once to a worker who was standing right next to me one day, she laughed, and just left them there, didn't care at all! They should be reported for selling foods like that! Since then, we no longer buy ANY kind of fruit there, we would make special trips to Wegmans for them! Over the last 2 months the place has gotten even worse, they never seem to have anything really instock anymore, so we finally made the switch! Recently a friend recommend that we try the newer Cherry Hill location, and there is NO comparison to this Mt.L location, it puts the "Super" in a super market!! If you still go here, switch a.s.a.p!!

Yelp
This store will do for most of your frozen foods, dairy, and dry goods. This store is regularly out of stock on popular items and seems to stop carrying items that are purchased by people on a regular basis. I wonder if this is to encourage people to buy other items on the shelf so their inventory continues to turn over? This store has gone down hill over the past few years. It may be due to the effect of the Wegmans' that opened only a mile away. There used to be a sushi bar which disappeared shortly after Wegmans' opened. Their salad bar is always stale and contains only the basics, if you're lucky and arrive early in the day. There is no hot food except for roasted chickens. It seems as if this store is now focusing on lower income demographics, which is fine, but this area has a median household income of $63,000. We have decided to begin using the ShopRite in Hainesport.

Yelp
This ShopRite is smaller than others in the area, but that means it's easier to maneuver. Parking lot is much easier ti get in and out of as well.

Yelp
I have been going to this Shoprite since the opening of the store. Service has always been borderline but in the recent years I can say it has gotten much worse. Possible the management of the store is not doing a good job. Very rude cashiers and they are often out of the items I need.. It is not managed well and it always appears to be dirty. The produce is not kept up and if you ever have to ask someone to check for a product, it isn't worth it. Very hard to find a willing associate to help. I have been a loyal customer for years since I tend to be a creature of habit but have decided to go else where since the shopping experience is just horrible. It is a convenient location but there are plenty of great markets that offer the same prices and a much better selection. Customer service is severely lacking in the Mount Laurel Shoprite store.

Yelp
I left my wallet in the store yesterday at the checkout line close to closing. I was in the 20 items or less line. I called the store early this morning and it is supposedly not there. The person I talked to didn't even put me on hold to check or ask the employees after I was trying to tell him what line I was in. He was completely not interested in obtaining any information to help me. I will not be shopping there again.
