"Shorebird Brewing Co., Sacramento County’s only hard kombucha brewery, has closed, per the Sacramento Bee. Owners Randall Echevarria and Monte Hudock made the announcement via social media last week, thanking supporters and imploring them to continue to visit local breweries, restaurants, and small businesses, which are "struggling to survive," they wrote. Before the brewery shutters for good, though, it’s throwing one last party on Saturday, October 19. Come by for discounted six-packs, pints, and crowlers, and an onsite artist painting pet portraits (Shorebird is dog-friendly). We’re serious brewery goers, and we’re also a bit skeptical about hard kombucha. We couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. The owners and staff are amazing. The flavors are incredibly surprising and drinkable. We live two hours away and make a trip there at least twice per year. Keep it up Shorebirds!!

Love Shorebirds Brewing Co, Hard Kombucha! The space is located in Rancho’s Barrel District. It’s cute and family friendly. The frozen yogurt kombucha is delish and just the refresher you need during the hot summer. Pic of my son jamming out during one of their many fun event!

We booked my wife’s 50th birthday party here and this place is highly recommended! The physical space was very accommodating , Sabrina and Monty were extremely gracious hosts (hostess), And of course the beverages were wonderful. All in all, we had a great time and look forward to going back.

Really hard to find unless you know where you’re going (speakeasy vibes) but REALLY good Kombucha and super nice folks. As hard as it is to find once we found it, it was nice to just chill with good quiet company and sip on a yummy beverage. I’d go back. Oh dog friendly as well!
