Nice small market. I love this market because there are some small farmers/homesteaders with nice variety of produce. Besides the produce, there are food trucks and sometimes, there's music. I'm disappointed to see some bigger, pricey growers who are also at the Edmonds Farmers Market now selling there as well. I hope they don't push the smaller growers out. I make a point to support the small growers buy buying from them.

UPDATE 6/28/25 - A new season at the market and I am upgrading my 1 star from last year to 5 stars this year. There were no challenges getting through the market - no sandwich boards to navigate around with wide open spaces for walking and only one sign at one intersection promoting the market. The host even escorted me to the dining tables when I asked for directions. Thank you Shoreline Farmers Market for making this a more accessible experience. Delighted to see how much this market has grown...I'll see you next week! Update 9/30 - After reading the Market's response I would like to say that I would very much like to support this market; however, we clearly disagree about the placement of the A-frame signs. Crossing Aurora Avenue (and many other intersections in the City of Shoreline) is very dangerous. My neighbor was killed in a crosswalk in broad daylight recently. Many drivers are distracted and A-frame signs contribute to that and they block line of sight. When I saw they added the fifth sign this past Saturday, I decided to post this review. Supporting the hard-working farmers and the vendors at this market is vital to the community. However, I base my actions in alignment with my values...and that means not supporting this market given their decision regarding this signage. I hope they reconsider for the upcoming markets this autumn. I'm finished having this conversation as there is nothing left to say. Original post: I am giving this market one star because of the response to my concerns regarding the A-frame signage they have on ALL four corners of a very busy intersection at Aurora Avenue N and N 192nd Street. There are also A-frame signs throughout the market that are challenging to navigate around. I spoke with the market manager and explained why it is important to keep the line of sight unobstructed at the intersections and maneuvering within the market less challenging. I have a friend who is dependent on a wheelchair and seated scooter. These signs block a driver's ability to see her at these intersections. The E-line bus runs along Aurora and if you are traveling north, you must cross Aurora Avenue (notoriously dangerous to pedestrians) to get to this market. Another friend has low vision and requested a change in A-frame signage within the marketplace. After discussing this concern with the market manager, she seemed to respond favorably. But, the following week, the signs doubled from two to all four corners. Yesterday there was a fifth sign at that intersection. It is not enough to support the farmers. These markets need to be accessible and barrier free. I go to other farmers markets in this region weekly and support the farmers. I will NOT support this market.

Great things come in small packages, this quaint Farmers market has all you could ask for, without walking for hours. From local honey to food trucks and numerous farm fresh produce. Highly recommend!

Loved all the local food options. Great opportunity to access community resources (master gardeners, health programs, even the water district was there.) Dog and child friendly!

Fresh vegetables, delicious pastries, good food, and a great variety of vendors. My stop will definitely be longer next week.

Love supporting these people. Produce is of high quality. Hardly any wait time. Nice to connect with neighbors.

Edmonds resident here, the market is cute and small, but the food truck out front is awful. It's a blue 'Dumplings from napel' food truck. The man inside is incredibly slow. Me and my family eventually had to leave without food as the man took SO LONG. $50 wasted. You could order these first and shop at every single stand, talking to everyone there and your food still will not be done! This food truck gives you a pager!! A pager! And it takes over 20 minutes! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS FOOD TRUCK Edit: I caught this truck at another event, so I finally have a picture. If you see this truck, DO NOT ORDER.

The people there were nice, had lots of good food vendors. I particular liked the bakeries that were there!

Yelp
Updating my previous post from 8/6/16 from my recent visit on 7/26/25 (posted 8/9/25). The humble beginnings of the Shoreline Farmers Market started at City Hall, then Aurora Square near Town & Country, to the current location at the 188th & Aurora Park and Ride - this seasonal community event has grown even more! It's held June to early October on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. It's recommended to show up early, use public transit, bike or walk since the surrounding lot and side streets gets pretty full. Vendors representing the market, city, community organizations and services were there. There's also live music and kids activities. There's quite the variety of goods available like fresh flowers, fresh seasonal produce, baked goods, indie artisans and their wares, cheese, meat, eggs, food vendors, onsite coffee stand, cideries, handmade soaps, candles, honey, olive oils, etc. A pleasant way to spend part of your Saturday and show your support for farmers and independent businesses since 2012!

Yelp
We just recently moved to the area but of course COVID-19 has upended a lot of the regular culture around the Seattle/Shoreline area. For a while, the farmers market here had been closed joining the rest of the community in flattening the curve. However, given a better understanding of the social distancing impacts on SARS-CoV-2 spread, the Shoreline Farmers Market has reopened with guidelines in place to ensure patrons are kept safe. First of all refer to the main website for specific dates when they are open and which venders will be available. We went on a Saturday to see what they had to offer (and also because we wanted to stop by Central Market). We weren't sure what we would find but what we did see impressed us! First off, there's only one entrance into the farmers market. Be sure to have your face covering because you're not allowed in without one. They count the number of people going in to limit the crowd and then we count how many people go out as well. The first few venders were fruits and vegetables. We stopped by the cherry booth and they had rainier cherries the size of almost ping pong balls. No joke. Not only were they large, but they were sweet. A great way for us to start! We walked over to the honey vender as well; a group that sells honey harvested from hives in people's local yards. From what we are told, the honey tastes pretty consistent from location to location early in the season but as more plants and flowers open up later, local flavors start popping out. Further down was also a mushroom vender that had beautiful piece of lions mane. If you have never cooked with lions mane before, I encourage you to try especially with some pasta, pancetta and butter. Delicious! Around the corner, a family was selling fresh made mozzarella and a food truck in the back was selling sweet and savory pies. All in all, this was a good find for us and we are certainly excited to revisit in the future!

Yelp
I've been here twice this season and I'm not that impressed with this particular farmers market. It's quite small and there's not many vendors, in my opinion. The vibe is totally different than LFP farmers market (which I prefer). I always leave empty handed which is pretty sad. I did buy a cheesy round load of bread for $8 the first time around, though lol I like that this farmers market is now located in the parking lot in front of sears next to central market. Lots of parking so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. I always end up going to central market afterwards to scope out their sales of the day. Overall, I probably would only visit again if I was planning to go to central market (which is slim). I have high hopes that this Market will eventually expand and have more vendors here.

Yelp
This is a great market to go to! It is a one stop shop for your meats, produce, fresh flowers, honey, fruits, coffee, and much more.

Yelp
Now located at the new Shoreline City Hall check this site for more info: http://www.shorelinefarmersmarket.org/ We popped in on the grand opening weekend, 6-16, it was nice to see the Shoreline community out in support of this event. This market has a new location and day of operation. Now open June through October, open on Saturdays. I hope for continued success of this venture for the city, really it does help the City of Shoreline establish some kind of personality, the clean up and development of the Aurora corridor has helped a lot as well. I'm glad there seems to be plenty of parking, even with the large number of people attending the opening weekend and of course it is a dog friendly location! One of the vendors I spoke to was pleasently surprised at the turn out, he asked me what kind of advertisment had the City done. I mentioned that the monthly newsletter and great community support has kept this news in the forefront of our area. While the produce vendors were a bit lacking, a chalk board announced that next weekend, 6-23, the full assortment of produce would be available, we'll check it out for sure. As with most Farmer's Markets they accept WIC/SNAP/EBT. For something new to Shoreline, it was a pleasent surprise, job well done!

Yelp
It goes on every Thursday from 3pm to 7pm from May through the beginning of October. I used to frequent it while I worked for the Alzheimer's Association and miss not having it closeby during the summer months. Each week there would be a different artist or musician there to help enterain the people perusing the organic stands. There are some of the best fresh herbs and amazing goat cheese. I also like the lettuce booth and it was always fun to get the flowers of the season at the flower booth near the back. What a great way to support your local farmers and enjoy the fruits and veggies of their labor :).

Yelp
I was amazed at the selection of this amateur farmers market. I went to PCC last week and spent just as much for half as much groceries! Barron Farms is definitely unbeatable when it comes to taste and price. The ice cream lady is amazing! They always have live music playing and its chill atmosphere makes it a weekend treat. Easy parking too!

Yelp
I have visited the farmer's market at its previous location and loved to shop the local & organic produce stalls. This season i visited the market at its new location at the shoreline sears upper parking lot. Pro- better parking options. Cons- very few produce stands - 2 to be exact. Many food options but costly. Not what I am looking for when wanting to go to a farmer's market. More like a mini taste of shoreline than a true farmers market. Not sure where the farmers went but please come back- i miss you!

Yelp
Small farmer's market,, and a good Saturday market. Good variety on stands even if small; including ice cream in pints and organic meats. Has it's own parking so it is an easy stop to support local farmers. Recommend!

Yelp
They have lots of fresh vegetables. All of the vendors are really nice. Plenty of parking spaces and they are really close to Central Market. One stop, you get all you need for your weekly groceries.

Yelp
My daughters and I love this new addition to our community. Two weeks in a row brought home new discovery, Tayberries, and made best pies ever. The location at city hall is accessible and central. There has been live music, extraordinarily affordable gorgeous bunches of flowers, diverse range of vendors. It's a super gathering place too; people connecting, visiting, relaxed, happy.

Yelp
Lots of great meat, cheese, produce, prepared foods, crafts - we always enjoy going, there are a lot of nice people there and - though our kids are grown - we can see that it's a very kid-friendly space. Reasonably priced. We're happy to see a Farmers Market in Shoreline!!

Yelp
Fabulous community event. Get out and meet your community Shoreline. Local foods are amazing and everything is reasonably priced. Something for everyone of all ages. Also pet friendly.

Yelp
Great little market in shoreline. We love the produce, food trucks & more. It's become a Saturday ritual. Plus it keeps growing every year!

Chris N.

Yelp
No fruits or vegetables. I guess they had some cherries and snap peas. Complete waste of time. Looks like a place for people to hang out with their dogs.

Yelp
Always lots of great things to see, and eat. Family friendly the kids love it. Prices are fair too.
