Shoreline Village in Long Beach is a must-visit destination for families and visitors looking for a blend of fun, relaxation, and convenience. The village offers a mix of paid and free parking, making it easy to enjoy all the activities without worrying about finding a spot. It's also conveniently located next to parks, and on the left side of the village, you’ll find direct access to walking paths that lead to the beach – perfect for a leisurely stroll along the water. There’s no shortage of great dining options at Shoreline Village. Restaurants like The Crab Pot, which serves fresh seafood, and Gladstone's Long Beach offer a variety of delicious meals. For a more casual bite, you can stop by the Yard House or try a tasty treat at The Fudgery. Whether you’re in the mood for a sit-down meal or a quick snack, there’s something for everyone. The village also offers plenty of activities for families and kids, from shopping to carousel rides. One of the highlights is the beautiful, free shoreline view of the iconic Queen Mary. The ambiance is relaxed, and the food is excellent, making Shoreline Village a perfect spot to unwind. Plus, the bridge connecting the village to the Convention Center and downtown Long Beach lets you explore the area without having to cross busy roads. Highly recommended for a fun, hassle-free day out!

Great place for a walk, a ride, and food. I did not get to check out the other places unfortunately as time was limited but I did get to eat some funnel cake and take a walk. The funnel cake was decent enough and the walk was great. It was slightly windy and everyone around me seemed to be having a nice time out.

This area is remarkably well-maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere for everyone. The paved paths wind through the landscape, perfect for leisurely strolls, jogs, or enjoyable bike rides. Opportunities for boat rides and cruises. Convenient shopping options for souvenirs or specialty items are available. Restaurants, and some food trucks at times.

Google
Shoreline Village is a charming place to spend a few hours, especially around sunset. It has a laid-back, colorful vibe with a good mix of souvenir shops, coffee spots, and casual restaurants. The views of the marina are beautiful, and it’s a nice area to just stroll around and take in the scenery. You’ll find everything from local crafts to sweet treats while wandering through. Parking can be a bit pricey, but the overall experience and views make it worth a visit.

Google
I recommend for shopping, dining, bars I do NOT recommend the beach. Traveler from Chicago and this is my third time in California and the third beach (Santa Monica pier, Manhattan beach) I’ve been to. It was DISGUSTING, with a capital D. The outdoor outlet itself is great, major shops (pike outlets) and brands, Ferris wheel, carousel, food trucks and aquarium. I heard there was an arcade near yard house I got lost and couldn’t find it. The shoreline and actual beach looked like something back in Chicago rainbow beach if you know what I mean. Maybe Long Beach is not the best area I don’t know. Pros - -scooter and bike rentals -very nice restaurant along the shore -prime views of those large ships -volleyball net and maybe that’s common or typical -free parking Cons - -beach was absolutely trashed, I mean it’s like people just came and left garbage and were extremely careless it was so sad. My kids were picking up cigarette butts, there was a piece of glass, pieces of wood, straws, my feet feel gross after leaving. -do not get in the water it’s just nasty. -sketchy folks I really, really hope the city takes action and cleans it up I can’t believe it looked like that!

Google
This is such a cute and fun little area. There's something to do for all ages and plenty of places to eat also. We loved the chocolate we got at the Chocolate shop and it's in a great location overlooking the water.

Google
Very cute location for the family or friends to get good food, drinks, desserts and more. Great for kids and adults.

Google
This place is beautiful, with lots of restaurants serving great food. However, I wouldn’t recommend the boat trip—they just take you around the bay, and all you see are shipping containers

Yelp
Opened in 1982, Shoreline Village Long Beach continues to provide visitors and residents alike a place for dining, shopping, and enjoying (arcade) at all times of the year. It was architected to mimic a 19th century seaside village. Dining starts with places serving carnival foods (cotton candy, icees, and funnel cakes) to high end steak (Queen Anne's Steakhouse). It is also the original location of the popular Yardhouse chain of restaurants. Most of the restaurants have waterfront dining because of the location. Parking is not free, even with validation, but is available even on a busy Friday night (which is one of the reasons why one of its restaurants was chosen for our daughter's rehearsal dinner).

Yelp
Pro Tip:: You can get your parking validated at any shop as long as you've spent $20 at that location. That knocks off about $2 from your parking. There's plenty of parking kiosks so you can validate your ticket or prepay before you leave. This is a lovely place for an evening walk or a fun family outing. Theres lots to see and even if it's cliche, it's rather something delightful getting ice cream while walking on the beach. You can always finish up with a nice meal. I personally always enjoy getting crawfish etouffee at Louisiana's Charlie's. It's a bit twist on the southern thats hearty but also rather refreshing.

Yelp
My mom, one of my dogs and I headed to Long Beach for the day as I read online that it's very dog-friendly. Aside from dog parks and Rosie's dog beach, I wanted to bring Cali here. We actually started off at Belmont Shore, but that wasn't what I expected... I was hoping to visit an area like Seaport Village in SD. Eh, this place is "just okay"... there's restaurants, a few shops, lots of desserts, and various docks to take harbor cruises from (I want to do that when I don't have my dog with me!). The highlight for me was Funnel House, which specializes in freshly made funnel cakes and churros. Literally the best, made-to-order churro I've ever had (as it should have been at 7$!). The bike trail is lovely, and Long Beach encourages exercise. I really appreciate that. Overall, I would come back to this area, but Seaport is MUCH better than this place. If any readers have favorite pup-friendly spots, please message me! Pros: - dog-friendly - easy parking - nice views Cons: - kinda boring
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
I could have sworn I wrote a review for this place, but... ... well. Better late than never, I suppose! A brief history: sometime in the last couple of years, I woke up and decided to take the pup for a day out. I wanted to bring him somewhere new, so I did a bit of research and this popped out on the line of dog friendly places. So the pup and I got on the ride and made the drive. We were both happy on that trip, but didn't' really get a full experience since we were there way too early in the morning. I vowed to come back. Fast forward to now, Hubbers wanted a family day out, so we dragged our fur baby, my Mom, my aunt and her pup to finally explore more. We had lunch at the Yardhouse (they are dog friendly) and what better place to walk off what we ate than here. We all loved this place: tons of other eateries, shops, even an arcade for small and big kids alike. There's even a bike rental if you choose to explore the outer parts of the village. The view of the Queen Mary is just a bonus. And if you feel like being romantic with your better half, you can commemorate your relationship with a love lock! The one shop I would like to warn others of is called Lunara. My mom and her sister went in as they were interested in some of their pieces. Hubbers, the pups and I waited for them outside, and it wasn't long until I realized they disappeared. Long story short, the staff there were under the impression they could pull a fast one on them sisters, so they "signaled" each other (my Mom witnessed this) of their trickery. They were taken somewhere else to show other merchandise (that's how they went off my line of sight.) Mom pulled her sister outta there as quickly as possible. My aunt, feeling bad for not making a bigger purchase (because of the "attention" given her) bought a pair of earrings for my Mom just to say they at least got something. Them earrings were certainly not worth the price. Otherwise, it was a great run! We all had a great time enjoying the place overall. There will certainly be future visits!

Yelp
Ok. I drove here as a local visitor to Long Beach, CA. Parking can be validated all day from visiting Any restaurant. I took our family lunch out from Louisiana Charlie's and got a family pack Spicy Cajun Pasta with Grilled chicken to go. Parking all afternoon came down to be only $10 with validation. It was quite reasonable. I'll return here for the 'Pirates' Cove,' store next time. Such a calm and beautiful place to shop. I'll be back soon. From just the initial visit, I explored: 'Louisiana Charlie's,' 'Pirates' Cove,' 'Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory,'...Etc. I'll be back for more businesses next time.

Yelp
Beautiful harbor village near downtown Long Beach. Lots of parking but gets very crowded. Local restaurants and shops. Beautiful place to watch the sunset.

Yelp
We came here during the Zombie Walk. It was a very hot day and WOW you could feel it IN the arcade. Place was so hot. I had a great time checking out all the restaurants and walking to the convention center nearby. There was so much garbage in the water. I mean yeah, there are plenty of boats so I want to look out, but when you look out it's like eww wtf why is there so much garbage here? This was a very busy day for the area and the bathrooms represented that they did not have enough focus on there; gross smells, no stalls because a mess had been made so it was just closed. AGAIN, we went on a very busy day. Parking took a while; I timed it and it was only about 15 minutes but it does get pretty crazy with limited space. We even saw some racism go down because some woman was saving a spot by standing there but yeah they can't do that and some people argued and that's when racism was seen. Anyway, lots of fun stores, I don't think I'll rush to come back!

Yelp
Nice place to visit with some nice shops and restaurants. Parking can be a problem on weekends and holidays. They also have bike rentals so you can bike along the seashore and the boardwalk. They have everything from boat rides to parasailing to casual bike rides. A nice place to visit!
google avatar

Yelp
I love coming here from time to time to walk around, have something to eat or snack on and enjoy the scenery. Always so beautiful to see the boats and the birds nearby. Love watching the sunset from here. It's breathtaking.

Yelp
$2 parking with validation from any shops. Funnel cake is famous here and enjpy the live music. Great place for a date, family time, or to be alone.

Yelp
Love this destination to do local shopping in the village or scenic views of the harbor , walks on the boardwalk or dinning, this locations offers it all, huge variety of options . Love stopping by anytime I'm in the area . Very budget friendly things to do here as well. The Love Locks is the cherry on top . The perfect attraction for couples and tourists. The tradition invites couples to attach a padlock to the fence. Super cool date night!

Yelp
If you're looking for a morning walk with beautiful views, I highly recommend this spot. The shops are mildly interesting, a bit touristy, but fun to browse. If you park in the adjacent lot, you can get validated at the shops with any purchase. I suggest continuing your walk through shoreline village and take the path that leads you along the water, with views of the Queen Mary and a cruise ship that may be docked. Once you make your way back, take a look at the map below and take the path that can be found to the rear of the restaurants. You'll see PF Changs, Outback Steakhouse, Tokyo Waco, and a few more. You'll walk by the Aquarium and continue to the lighthouse. Harbor cruises also start along this path. Metered parking is also available and allows you to access either directions you want to walk. I suggest going early on a weekend to avoid the crowds.

Yelp
We visited this place several times already but did not do any review so just want to let everyone know the place is awesome. Has a lot of restaurants, boat landing as well as a place where you can ride a boat sail and do some whale watching or a cruise around the harbor. Great place to run for a jog or walk your furry friend around. Place is right beside Aquarium of the Pacific. They have a boat transit that can ferry you over to the Queen Mary and back. There are several boat rentals to choose from. One thing we saw was as a service for your dear departed love one where in you can scatter their ashes over the boat into the sea. However when you park on Shoreline drive using the parking meter the place is littered with human feces that somehow doesn't get cleaned up that's why for my three star rating

Yelp
This is a great place to hang out with family and friends. Your out of town guest will enjoy this village. There are a lot of novelty shops and restaurants. The merry-go-round has been at this location for decades and still a fan favorite. You can take one of the water excursions. These water excursions are about two to three hours. The Long Beach aquarium is a short walk away. You will need to pay for parking but you can get your parking validated. Credit cards are the only method of paying for the parking lot. If you wish, you can also have your vehicle valet.

Yelp
Shoreline Village is a waterfront shopping center that offers several stores, restaurants, and entertainment options. Most of the stores seemed to be small local businesses. They sold products such as accessories and souvenirs. The store that caught my eye the most was Raindance, which sold handcrafted Native American art. The employees there made friendly conversation and kept their store clean and tidy. Current restaurants include Parkers' Lighthouse, Gilan Pizza, Louisiana Charlie's, Shenanigan's Irish Pub, Tequila Jack's, and Yardhouse. I ate a dinner at Tequila Jack's, and I felt happy with the employees' food and service. Several other businesses sell snacks, such as funnel cakes, ice cream, candy, and chocolate. Finally, several entertainment businesses offer sailing, parasailing, and games.
google avatar

Joy J.

Yelp
Great place to come and eat, unwind, grab a few cold ones and chill. You have to pay to park in the lot, but you can get validation from various retailers in the Village. Even with validation, you'll still end up paying something. There's a ton of things to do here, but be warned it can get extra crowded on holidays/weekends. There will be vendors hustling to sell their holiday goods to you. A bunch of restaurants and small shops fill up this popular touristy destination. If you're here to dine, you'll have some good options to choose from. When you're done, you can walk around to burn off all those calories. We walked across the marina to Lions Lighthouse and that was quite the excursion! Be sure to wear comfortable footwear! You could totally spend an entire day here and boredom would be the last thing on your mind. For you lovers out there, don't forget to bring a lock and key to place with the rest of the Love Locks of Shoreline Village! enJOY your visit!

Yelp
I visited Shoreline Village recently. It was nice to stroll by the various restaurants and shops. I loved being by the water. I liked the view I got of the Queen Mary. I enjoyed seeing and playing in the Pelican Pier Pavilion. I parked at the Shoreline Village parking lot.

Jamie M.

Yelp
Nice place to spend a few hours. A few nice shops to shop in. Several restaurant choices. An arcade which we enjoyed playing in for a bit. Chocolate store and an ice cream place. If you have a few hours to kill like we did check it out. I would definitely spend some time here again next time I'm in Long Beach

Geraldyn W.

Yelp
View is amazing and always have live music every weekends Lots of restaurant and puppy is allowed . Will come back again

Yelp
I came here for the 4th of July. I had a great time. I walked around, shopped, ate snacks, had coffee, and ate dinner. They had fireworks. The parking was a $25 flat fee.

Yelp
It's such a shame that I even have to write this. While trying to have a nice little family outing with my mom and son during their Zombie event. After my fourth circle around the parking lot trying to find parking unfortunately my car overheated and smoke started coming out of my car. I had a string of cars behind me so I panicked. I pulled into a spot reserved for valet (which I understand I can't park there) I just needed to get out of the way of the other cars, make a phone call, and move to the side. But one of the workers in charge of the vallet parking straight on yelled at me. YELLED AT ME! I understand it was an overwhelming situation with the parking at max capacity. But it was either that or I blocked the whole row and no one would be able to get through. Sorry my car broke down but being yelled at as a customer who was trying to enjoy a family outing was definitely the worst experience!! Dude made me cry, I had to calm myself from almost having a panic attack. Shoreline needs to start hiring more respectable people because that was bad customer service. No help at all either. And I still overpaid for parking after leaving my car there to be able to get it towed.

Yelp
June 2023 Plaza with science view of the marina. Private lot shared with local businesses. Pay station located towards exit. The plaza has a walkway and bike/running trail. The plaza can get busy towards 12:00 PM till dinner. Across the plaza they have Tequila Jacks, Yard House, Queens view Steak House, Parkers Lighthouse, Gillian Pizza&Grill, etc.
google avatar

Yelp
Our family came on Thanksgiving to visit. Only one shop opened, but a few places to eat and enjoy the view of the harbor. Would've been nice to browse through the other stores. I prefer the Seaport Village in San Diego compared to this village.
google avatar

Jolanta M.

Yelp
On a clear, cool California night, this is a great spot for night strolls. Stop and get a funnel cake, at the funnel house. There are plenty of restaurants for dinner time dining. It feels safe, if you're solo for the night.
google avatar

Maruko X.

Yelp
It is a waterfront shopping, dining and entertainment center that overlooks Long Beach's Rainbow Harbor, conveniently located within walking distance of the Aquarium of the Pacific, and across the harbor from the Queen Mary. The Shoreline Village is a family friendly destination by day, and it also develops a sense of romance at nights, which features an antique carousel, bike rentals to explore the coastline, personal watercraft rentals, harbor cruises, and unique specialty shops. The parking lot is very packed, and so tedious to get in and out during busy weekends, especially when you encountered some rude people. There were two old women sitting in their car which was stopped as tilted in the middle of the main drive way, and entirely blocked the traffic, when tried to remind them to move around and then they started cursing out.

Tes G.

Yelp
PARKING FEES as of 8.23.2023 FYI: Validation Stamp acts as a discount on parking fees. It does not pay for your entire parking fee.
google avatar

Erik P.

Yelp
I come out here often and been past due for a review. Parking - It can be hectic on the weekends with limited parking. Plus everytime I come it seems as validation isn't enough time and will be always charged for parking. Location - In the heart of Downtown Long Beach along the harbor. Venue - Tons of things to do even for the size of Location. You have Restaurants, bars, candy shops, clothes, bike rentals and more. Clean Level - They keep the place pretty clean for how old it is and the wear the shoreline gets. Overall cool place to check out if in LB.

Colleen N.

Yelp
Hadn't been to the area in years. Parked at Shoreline Village for a con at convention center which is across the street. Doesn't look like much has changed, many of the same shops and restaurants have been there for decades. It's a busy area, lots of tourists and families. But it also feels run down. Like the whole area needs a deep cleaning.
google avatar

Cathy R.

Yelp
Lots of great places to shop, eat, or grab an ice cream and stroll down the boardwalk. You can do a tour of the harbor or or do the whale watching tour which is great.

Kris D.

Yelp
I really wish that the restaurants and boat owners could all come together and clean ALL THE TRASH floating in the ocean Harbor DAILY, it's disgusting all the stores and restaurants should keep it cleaned up and help keep our oceans clean for the environment as well as making it look appealing instead of disgusting. CLEAN THE HARBOR

Yelp
Shoreline Village located in Long Beach right at the end of the 710 freeway right here off the marina. Cross the street from Long Beach convention center cross cross from the queen Mary Shawnee Village has a Lotta nice fine dining restaurants, snacks cookies, ice cream, souvenirs everything representing Long Beach in the Best Way,, Shoreline Village has the Yard House has there's lotta good different restaurants. Here you can come by and spend a good time here in Shawnee Village in the city of Long Beach. I have to marina right on Shoreline Village Drive you can't miss it. It is a great place has arcades has all kind of stuff you could do here great sightseeing, great tourist place. If you haven't been here shortly Village come check them out you'll really enjoy it..

Yelp
Enough restaurants to keep you happy, but watch out for bike and scooters, who sometimes are driving out of control. The gift shops are different and several feature items from turkey for some reason. The best thing was the Funnel house, which had great churros.

Maria G.

Yelp
Service is horrible when attempt to park there. There is a staff member in the parking box who acts like she cannot hear you and will not help you get the parking pass because she is too busy watching a movie.
google avatar

Skye S D.

Yelp
pretty kool place w nice scenery e-scooters can b rented @a heavy cost but worth it once in awhile variety of shops & restaurants onda boardwalk & outside this area i visit whenever i can, esp since i get 2b on a frenz yacht thats docked nearby

Yelp
I worked at the Mardi Gras restaurant in the mid 90's (now Yard House), so the Shoreline Village holds a special place for me. It's really a fun place to go for an afternoon or evening, lot's to see and do. Walking the boardwalk with an ice creams or churro in your hand, come on! For me it's pretty nostalgic, and I've shared the magic with my kids, who now enjoy coming here. There's not a lot of aspects that have changed. The boardwalks still boast the trinkets and gifts shops. The candy stores still has the smell of chocolate and candy apples being made. You still have the classic Parker Lighthouse Restaurant at the end of the boardwalk with the view of the Queen Mary. There are a lot of new restaurants, that has changed, so definitely plan to have a meal here. This place is great for an afternoon or evening of leisure with the family. There's bike rentals available, along with scenic walkways around the marina and to the beach. You will enjoy your time spent at Shoreline Village, an overall great family excursion waiting to happen.

Yelp
I guess coming on Mother's day is not a good idea. NO PARKING , even the VALET ..-as what they said to call to park via Valet .. no one was answering the phone . So we went in and since there was no parking we decided to just exit and when we inserted the ticket it said that we should pay $4.00 and we told the attendant why should we pay when we went around in circles and there was no parking we didn't even get out of the car. And the male attendant said we still have to pay and we insisted we did not park at all. And he said , "once you came in and stayed for few mins you still have to pay." We didn't move our car and eventually he opened the gate for us and said "next time it's not free." WHY DONWE HAVE TO PAY WHEN WE JUST WENT AROUND PARKING AND THERE WAS NEVER A PARKING AT ALL. Actually 0/10
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
Great for strolling but not much for the restaurants. Many tourist traps where you will receive bad service and mediocre food. Do yourself a favor and yelp nearby restaurants you'll eat better. For just a beer head to yard house, for a quick bite get a hot dog. I suggest staying away from eating full meals here and using this area to stroll, going to the arcade, walk the beach path etc.
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Shoreline village is a cheap version of Pikes Place in Seattle--with the addition of paid parking. I think I ended up paying around $10 for less than 2 hours of walking around shop after shop of impulse purchases and poorly-made trinkets. The only upside is that the parking lot of Shoreline village is a walking distance from the aquarium. Plus, there's a nice view of sailing boats if you ignore the trash floating in the water.
google avatar

Yelp
Growing up in Long Beach was such a beautiful experience. Would skateboard or roller blade down to Shoreline Village every weekend. Such a beautiful place to hang out and enjoy the beach. So many places to eat and shop at. It has a merry go round that my daughter use to love to ride. After that I would take her to get some ice cream and walk around the sidewalk as, we checked out the stores and watched the seagulls. At night it looks so beautiful and a great place to relax and enjoy a drink at the yard house's patio.
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
I wasn't too impressed with this place. Maybe it's because the people who were referring it to us overhyped it. It seems like a tourist trap with mediocre shops (socks, hot sauce, clothes). It took us about 10 minutes to walk from start to finish for the whole strip.
google avatar

Vuoch L.

Yelp
We were there pretty early and no other events were taking place in the vicinity, So parking was a breeze for us . The parking kiosk is located at every section of the parking lot , just remember your parking space number before you pay . Scooters are sporadically left in the parking lot area , seems like majority of the ones that is left are out of batteries. I honestly wouldn't waste your time trying to scan / rent scooters along the parking lot , no battery life , the people just left it there when they were done. To rent scooters I would walk towards the pier where all the boats are docking , and walk to the Parker's light house restaurant or you will see the light house in that direction. Different companies of scooter rentals lined their fully charged scooters here along the sidewalk. If scooters are not your thing, rent from "wheel fun rental " they rent surrey seats anywhere from 2 to 11 people price is for the hour $28-$53 dollars . They have electric bikes , wheelchair $8 , strollers $8 etc. ( see my picture for different rental equipment available and pricing) Don't fret if your like me , who doesn't care to exhaust your energy to peddle the surrey . I prefer walking along the pier , sitting down on the cement bench every now and then and people watch and gaze ahead to wonder what life was like on the Queen Mary . Some people I saw fish here as well in the designated pier area ( parking are available closer to the pier too)

Yelp
The classic tourist attraction- love it! Give me more! We are usually able to get parking, but it does get busy. I love the location, you can walk around and enjoy shopping and dining. Keept this gem here! Go, Long Beach! It's absolutely family friendly and even though I'm a Los Angeles native, I still enjoy getting souvenirs.
google avatar

Melissa M.

Yelp
Absolutely great place to hang out eat and shop. I rode my bike which made it nice. There is a bike trail for you. Amazing views.
google avatar

Guillermo F.

Yelp
Very crowded on weekends. A big part of the parking lot is taken over by valet for one of the restaurants. Finding a spot can be very hard and at night you can experience a traffic jam trying to leave the parking lot. A very topical tourist spot so if you like people watching it maybe a good location. This is a great place to go for a walk as it connects to a pathway which leads to another shopping/restaurant center.
google avatar

Richard L.

Yelp
Shoreline Village isn't huge but it has many restaurants and shops. Stores are line up along the shore. Love Lock display was interesting to watch. The bird shop at the entrance of the Village caught many traveler's attention. When you walk to the end of village you can over look at Queen Mary and continue trails along the shore. It was a Sunny day and we all grab ice cream to enjoy it under the sun. A good place just to walk around and enjoy the view!

Yelp
Couldn't find parking after going around several times around the parking lot! Very busy place.

Yelp
For those of you who love hanging out at Pier 39 in San Francisco, South Street Seaport in New York or Navy Pier in Chicago, here's the Long Beach version. It's smaller but in the same, faux-vintage maritime spirit. Where else can you find a store devoted to hot pepper sauces? Or another one that sells jerky? Truth be told, Jamie W. and I were there during a torrential downpour because we were looking for someplace to stroll before heading to Palm Springs. The upside was that it was pretty empty, and parking was a cinch. Yep, about fifteen minutes here was fine for us. RELATED - Lost in L.A.? Here's a collection of places I've visited and reviewed: http://bit.ly/2TWT63v

Yelp
Just a great place to hangout with plenty of dining options and shopping. The only negative is after spending your money, they charge you outrageous parking fees. Only validate for 2 hours. Parking can be difficult on the weekends

Yelp
Growing up in Long Beach, this place has a spot in my heart. The summers and weekend of hanging out with friends and going wild at the arcade. The boardwalk with our ice creams in hand. It's pretty nostalgic coming back and all the memories floating all back. There's not a lot of aspect that has changed. The boardwalks still boast the trinkets and gifts shops. The candy stores still has its smell of chocolate and candy apples being made. You still have the classic Parker Lighthouse Restaurant at the end of the boardwalk with the view of the Queen Mary. There's a lot of new restaurants that I wasn't familiar with. This place is great for an afternoon of leisure with the family. There's the arcade for the kids, they normally have a band of some sort performing on boardwalk. There's bikes rental available, walkways around the marina and to the beach. An overall great family outing.
