"Enjoy a cocktail featuring Short Path Distillery’s own spirits on the year-round patio, which is covered, enclosed, and heated — and dog-friendly, too. (Kids are also welcome.) Short Path has a light food menu available (or people can order from on-site food pop-ups if the distillery is hosting that day), but customers are also welcome to bring their own food." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal, Adam H. Very cool small-batch distillery making a wide array of spirits. Their cocktail menu is delicious, with both classics and original recipes, and takes full advantage of all their house-made spirits. They even make their own bitters and tinctures for their cocktails.

This place was Amazing! We traveled from Pittsburgh for our kids. We arrived earlier than the Thursday night crowd. It was quiet and just our group, my husband went straight to the stills wanting to know more. All of his questions were answered. Kirsten was behind the bar and answered any and all questions about the drinks. If we didn't like something listed on the menu. She had a quick and delicious alternative. Also, the pizza we ordered was delicious. If we ever make it back to Boston Short Path will be on the list of places to stop! Great job!

I hosted my husband's 40th birthday party in the BarrelRoom Bar and I can't say enough great things about the experience! From start to finish, the team was absolutely phenomenal. They were professional, responsive, and incredibly accommodating, making the entire planning process feel seamless and stress-free. The space itself is warm, stylish, and full of character. Multiple people came up to me to tell me how great their cocktails were. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and their attention to detail truly made the night unforgettable. If you're looking for a fantastic venue with a top-notch team behind it, this is it. Thank you, Alycia, Jeff, and the rest of the Short Path crew for making this celebration so memorable!

Google
I had a stellar experience here. The staff is friendly and fun. We laughed and laughed! The drinks were phenomenal! I highly recommend the Acadia gin.

We had great drinks and pizza here. The staff was friendly, and the building decor was awesome

Google
We had a most enjoyable tour of Short Path distillery. Our host was very friendly and informative. What motivated me to take the tour was their ‘Winter’ gin, which I tried not long after arriving on Boston from Australia for the Boston Marathon. It was so clean and refreshing and just delicious on the rocks. My husband enjoyed it with some Fever Tree tonic. I was able to purchase a ‘seasonal’ sample pack to take home to Australia. Their London Dry style gin is also delicious! Can’t wait to try more! It’s 4.5 stars from me.

Google
I had the pleasure of performing here, solo/acoustic, this afternoon, and this place is awesome! The staff was welcoming, and they actually seemed happy to be there. I was playing out on their patio setup, which is quite nice, and surprisingly spacious. Their selection of booze was tremendous, and very tempting. I don't drink when I have to sing, but I was definitely into their many options of cocktails and whiskeys that I saw. I can definitely see myself hanging out here when I have a night off, and I'll be more than happy to perform here again, anytime. Go check this spot out, for sure!

Whiskey flight is really good! Great pricing as well.

Yelp
Great drinks and EXCELLENT staff!! We are here visiting our son for Christmas in Boston. If you are EVER in Everett, Mass. you have got to stop by Short Path Distillery. They distill their own spirits and use only the finest mixers, fresh fruits and juices. There is a limited but adequate selection of food that they bring in from a local restaurant. An absolute must!

Matt D.

Yelp
If you are a lover of cocktails, Short Path is a must stop. I feel they get overshadowed by nearby Night Shift and Bone Up Brewery but Short Path is producing some excellent gin, rum, whiskey and even amaro. Now it's a short walk from the new Northern Strand bike path in case you don't want to deal with trying to find street parking. Don't be fooled by the plain warehouse exterior, there's a full fledged cocktail bar and store inside. They don't officially serve food but will often have an outside food vendor sell near the bar. Naturally being in a former industrial building, it has a a no-frills atmosphere which I liked. They make their cocktails the focus which are amazing. The cocktails were as good as some of the higher priced cocktail bars in Boston. My wife and I had a fun time hanging out in their enclosed outdoor patio seating section on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

Ronald W.

Yelp
Excellent Gin. Cocktail list is well curated. Enjoyed sitting at the bar on our first night outside Boston. Bartender was informative and just lovely.

Whitney D.

Yelp
What an awesome distillery this is! I brought my friend and some of her friends here for her birthday. We did a tour/tasting. Let me tell you our tour guide was soo great! very interactive and knew what he was talking about. As I said we also did a tasting..before the tour started we had a choice of having a gin and tonic or something else.. Thoes were some tall gin and tonics let me tell you!! Then at the end of the tour we went over to the tasting area and had shots of different gins and other products that are made here. It was a blast and deff will come back! After the tour and tasting we stayed a little bit for a cocktail out in the main area. They had flights of drinks and my smores drinks. Great Great Place!!

Kristen D.

Yelp
This is it, this is the place! Especially if you are a fellow gin enthusiast like me. I went with a group for a tasting ($10 bucks each to try gin, triple sec and tequila!) and had a great time. Best thing I tried was their limited edition blueberry gin that I think drops Memorial Day weekend and is available all summer but I cannot wait until I can get my hands on a bottle, it was so delicious! I enjoyed a few Tom Collins at the bar after the tasting and that too, was spot on for my taste buds. I look forward to coming back, and perhaps on a week night because it seems like there's something fun always going on, like trivia or ravioli making night for example.

Michele N.

Yelp
I drove an hour to get this gin!! Their new Spring fun is a lighter version of the winter. The winter is my favorite and I had to stockpile it! Had a great winter gimlet and The best staff ever with Kristin and Lois

Yelp
Stopped here after lunch for check it out. Great ambiance, an old manufacturing building that a once had a fire inside. It has been refurbished and still contains a few of the remnants of the manufacturing process and of the fire. The staff was very pleasant and told us all about the history of the building. Be careful if your not a hard liquor drinker, beware they do not serve any beer or wine. They do however have some mock tails that the non hard liquor drinker can have 2 of us tried their Gin Flights. They were a sizeable tasting of 4 different gins that they distill. My daughter in law had a mixed drink that she seemed to enjoy. They have a nice outdoor patio that if you can't prove you have been vaccinated you can use. Without vaccine verification you can't sit indoors. The staff all wore masks and they really made you feel safe while enjoying their spirits. On street parking is available.

Jen M.

Yelp
We had a great time and would highly recommend it. We got the Negroni and Mule flights. I personally like the Negroni better but they were very generous with the alcohol on these flights. The staff was very friendly and it's a pretty cool looking distillery.

Angelina M.

Yelp
Great place for cocktails and lots of outdoor space! I ordered a cocktail with their gin, lime, fig, and pomegranate...so delicious! Fruity but not too sweet. The prices are reasonable and they also have food options. Parking is available on the street and can be hard to find.

Swabarna M.

Yelp
Hidden gem located in an up and coming neighborhood! Area: Highlight being it consists of 2 brewery, restaurant and the distillery. If you go there you have many options within 3-5 mins of walk. Drive responsibly please! Parking can be challenging during some days and hour. Distillery: cute and nice patio. Will be back for the tour and their cocktails. Seating is ample and for now is also a great work place if visiting on a weekday. The libations: I was surprised to see so many options. Got the whiskey flight. Each one tasted good but need to mature a lot. Felt a bit more sharp to the tongue and the flavors not developed fully. The bourbon spoke about being peaty however I couldn't taste that. The gin might not have that problem and will try that next. No gin martini though on the menu. Maybe I'll ask next time. Definitely will be back for their cocktails as they not only looked great but the bartenders were really making it with care.

Joe H.

Yelp
Holy smokes the food don't sleep on the portions for the salads here. Drinks are great and staff is super fun. Dog friendly with outdoor seating. Can't say again the good portions were such a surprise for the price can't miss this if you are near by

Jessica R.

Yelp
It does not matter if the drinks are good or not - the amount of screaming babies will ruin your experience. You might be better off bringing a beer or 2 and sitting in a daycare.

William L.

Yelp
Part of a tour I was on landed here. They distill their own rum and gin, mainly. I tried a snort of each, and they don't age their rum at all. Too bad, because if they did, then these people might be in to something. The gin did sort of taste like gin, at least if it were made in a bathtub back in the late 1920's by Al Capone and friends. They also have ventured out into the whiskey and ouzo business. I wasn't enthused about trying any of their whiskey (American style crap; think Seagrams Seven Crown). Don't even get me started about ouzo. I'm Greek and I know my ouzo; this crap tastes more like Anbesol than anise. If you think it tastes better than sambuca, then you get what you pay for. Building is over 100 years old and looks it too. It used to be a rubber factory before it burnt down. Some might call it retro chic; I call it a run down dump. Ya think THAT is why their so called craft hooch tastes just like hooch? Well, most of the folks who patronize this place are young urbanite Massholes who don't know their Mass from their elbow anyway.

John O.

Yelp
Spending the day finding stuff to do, I had actually gone to the area for a new brewery event. But there was a line and I was like 'I don't do lines when I'm drinking, deuces' and came here instead. There is a limit for how many people can be in, so that kinda sucked but was understandable because of, you know, code' n' stuff. Being by myself and being awkward with interacting with strangers, I bee-lined to the bar and got a couple of cocktails. The drinks here are phenomenal! Hibiscus Dream is something everyone should experience; it was delightful, sweet, mellow, and well balanced. Very smooth, unlike the author of this review. The space is open, kinda dark. I liked the back patio area, it was a nice. Staff were very friendly, and they are hustling! Definitely would like to come back, try more cocktails. Maybe bring friends.

Alice Z.

Yelp
The back patio is amazing, it's covered and dog friendly! We had a great time here trying out the cocktails. They also have pizza!

Alexandra M.

Yelp
Came during covid 19 and they were great! We all felt safe and taken care of by the excellent staff. The cocktails are changed up pretty frequently so you can come back again and again and try something new each time. The pricing is reasonable and they have great shirts for sale too (along with the liquor of course). You can also do cocktails to go which I am very tempted by

Lauren J.

Yelp
I've been here twice and have had delicious drinks both times. The bartenders are friendly and will let you sample the booze before you make a decision. I've tried a couple rums, most of the gins (yay, summer gin!), the apple cordial (Pommeau), and even the Ouzo. Yum! On my latest visit a couple weeks ago, I tried to Blueberry cordial which is made with the leftovers from the Summer Gin. It was thick and delicious! I almost bought some, but then I tried the Pommeau and was sold! I bought a large bottle for myself and my boyfriend bought one for his parents! We had 3 drinks each (one of my "drinks" was the bees knees flight). Woooeee! That bees knees flight was killer. They make their regular Bees Knees with their main gin, but I liked the London Dry version even better! I'm glad I got the flight. I previously got the gin and tonic flight and Bees Knees was better (though get both if you can - two great ways to try their gins). The bf doesn't even like gin and he got 2 gin drinks and loved them. I like that you can bring in food here. You can sit inside or outside. Take the tour if you can (I did the first time I visited and you learn a lot and get to taste). Also, Night Shift is right down the block. How can you not go to both!? An afternoon or evening well spent in my opinion!

Emma W.

Yelp
Had a very lovely tour here over the weekend! It is definitely a great bang-for-your-buck! $15 for a tour, plus a cocktail to drink while you are touring, and a tasting afterwards! The tour was pretty straight forward, just an introduction to the company and general distilling methods. They have a much more in depth tour available for people who are really interested in the distilling method apparently. They have a nice selection of liquors, and a nice lounging-around space at the bar. All the staff were very friendly! They seem to have a lot of fun events during the week, so we will likely be back for one of those!

Laura P.

Yelp
First visit and I hope to go back. As another yelper said, parking is a nightmare. After driving all over we ended up parking at Best Buy and walking. The patio is super cute and they serve cocktails in glasses vs plastic cups which is appreciated. The first drink I ordered they could not make as they did not have rum available. But I tried a few tasty gin cocktails and enjoyed them. Our server was good but I wish I had been able to chat with the bartender directly about cocktails and different gins. Grabbed a bottle of summer gin to go. Wish they had included some recipes but it is super tasty and I'm enjoying experimenting with it at home.

Dhara P.

Yelp
The vibe at this place is amazing for outdoor seating, Pets are allowed. However, the prices are too expensive for amount of drinks you'll get. I am giving this place 4/5 because the staff was super nice to us on very busy day. Also, pizzeria is close by that distillery will order and delivery to you table. I would have gone again if the drinks were comparable with the price.

Derek B.

Yelp
Haven't been here since Covid started - just as amazing as last season! Reserved ahead for 3pm on Sunday, it was fairly empty with only a few tables full. Ordered Bushel and a peck cocktail pitcher - absolutely delicious! Highly recommend. You have to order food with your drinks here per MA regulation, their offerings are made fresh across the street at a local pub. We ordered buffalo chicken pizza! You can order by the slice too. Salad is another option.

Joyce W.

Yelp
It's off the beaten path, but a great gem! My friends and I stumbled upon it (because of Yelp) and loved the chill ambiance + simple menu. On a Friday night, there were a couple of people there, but otherwise pretty empty. Sidenote - there's an outdoor patio area with fire pits that would be great once life warms up in Boston a bit more! We tried 3 different flights: gin+tonic flight, daiquiri flight, old fashioned flight. All were super tasty and generous in serving. I also appreciated the diversity across the flights as well as within the flights. I'll definitely be back: for the flights and to try the rest of their creative cocktail menu!

Olivia V.

Yelp
Short Path was our second stop of the night following Night Shift which was just a short walk away. I was blown away by the exquisite drinks and the beautiful presentations of each cocktail. They even had one that looked just like hot chocolate (it's called Snow Day) but don't be fooled, the alcohol is definitely there and you might feel a little tipsy if you get carried away! The staff was so delightful and definitely made the experience that much more memorable. Since we came in a group, we all ordered a different drink so we could share and try a little bit of everything on the menu. I personally ordered Rosemary's Baby which I thought was an amazing cocktail for someone who likes sweet fruity drinks. The other drinks ordered included Snow Day, Northside, Flannel Shirt and Bee's Knees which were also solid drinks. I will say though that Snow Day is very strong and was a little hard for me to drink since it was chocolate mixed with rum but I appreciated the creativity! Overall, I'd definitely revisit this place again. It's a great place for dates and for groups. Loved it!

Mary N.

Yelp
It's cool that there's a local rum and gin distillery in the area. It's located near other breweries and bars, which is great but parking is a nightmare here. COVID-wise, they had done a thorough job of ensuring safety precautions. Plastic screens between seating areas, outdoor heat lamps, and minimal interaction between the host and the guests. Drinks were okay, a bit on the expensive side. We ordered 2 full pitchers (8 cocktails) and the Buffalo chicken pizza for a party of 4 - and paid about $40 per person for what breaks down into 2 cocktails and 2 slices of pizza per person.

Bill Z.

Yelp
Most of the distilleries I've so far visited do the same thing - flights or tastings of their products. That's why I'm excited about Short Path - why not advertise your products by showing us how well they make classic cocktails taste. From a business sense, it worked well for me and my group, as we spent more money on cocktails than we would have for tastings, plus we got to enjoy the place more. That includes the very important ambassador, Moose. Products were limited today to rum, vodka, triple sec, and Pommeau, an apple cordial (they were sold out of ouzo), and their cocktail menu featured classics using these. At $9 each, the drinks are potent and a good deal. Tables are varied in size, and a few games are available to play... what better way to spend an hour by drinking excellent cocktails, playing a few rounds of Cards Against Humanity, and giving Moose some obligatory attention whenever he came by? We bought some of the Short Path gin - did you know the batches are numbered? It's complex, with juniper, coriander, eucalyptus, lavender, and lemongrass. The aroma is amazing. And $29 for a 750 ml. bottle is a reasonable price. It's a little out of the way to get here. But it's a short walk from Night Shift, and going to both is a great double play for a day.

Sofia V.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! We sat out on their porch last weekend and sipped on a pitcher of the Snowflake Bentley cocktail. We were not disappointed! The drinks were great, and this place has done a really great job creating a safe outdoor area with heat paths that has a rustic ambiance. Also a big kudos to the staff and management for taking all precautions to ensure the safety of their patrons and workers. Masks required when you do not have food/drink in front of you, all tables clearly six feet apart, and all drinks are served in pitchers and half pitchers so that nobody is really touching your glass. If you're looking for a fun excuse to get out of the house while remaining covid cautious, this is certainly a great place to visit!

Jamie B.

Yelp
How did it take me so long to discover this place?! Short Path Distillery is a terrific local spot where the cocktails and spirits do no disappoint. We were looking for a nearby location with trivia one Thursday night. It turned out they were actually doing a Mean Girls themed quiz that night (yay October 3rd!), which ended up being a blast. There was a small entry fee, but the host was fantastic (she wrote her owns questions), and they had some fun specialty cocktails to celebrate the evening. Pros: -Both the cocktails I had (a Mean Girls specialty drink, which was a perfectly-hued shade of pink, and the seasonal Sweater Weather, which was cider-based and tasted like Fall in a glass...) were fantastic. -Most of their cocktails are gin-based. For me, that's a pro, but for others, it may be a con. Having said that, they did have a few whiskey-based and rum-based drinks, but if you do like gin, your options will be much larger. -They offer a daiquiri flight, a gin & tonic flight, and an old fashioned flight. You can also do a spirit tasting flight with your choice of any four of their spirits. -Short Path hosts themed trivia nights on the first Thursday of every month - we plan to return for their upcoming Seinfeld trivia. They also do general trivia nights as well. -Upon walking in, the place first seemed a little small (with no seats left...), but there was a large heated, enclosed patio area in the back that provided way more space, and was toasty enough to keep us comfortable even on a chilly Fall night (it honestly felt like we were indoors). -They allow you to BYOFood, and there are plenty of convenient options nearby (Kelly's, Pizzeria Regina, etc.) -The area that Short Path is located in is great for beer/cocktail enthusiasts - Short Path is just a short walk (no pun intended) from both Bone Up Brewing and Night Shift Brewery. I can totally see doing a brewery / distillery crawl in the area. Cons: -It's a bit of a walk from the nearest T stop (and not the most pedestrian-friendly). If you do drive, parking is a little hectic. -I could see the space getting somewhat tight on a weekend evening... but I haven't actually been on a weekend, so I'll withhold final judgement for now. All in all, this is a truly great place that is worth the tiny bit of extra effort it takes to get here. Looking forward to trying more of their cocktails soon and to returning for more trivia nights!

Paige A.

Yelp
GREAT GIN! So cool that there is a place doing this. Would 100% buy a bottle in this store. The building was cool inside but the night we went service was rather slow and it was cold outside on their patio even with heaters so maybe once the weather gets warmer it would be better. Drinks were prices fair for the Boston area and pitcher concept is cool.

Sarah S.

Yelp
I absolutely love Short Path! The number one reason being that I have never had a negative or even average encounter with any of the bartenders here. They are always happy, welcoming, and ready to give recommendations. It's also rarely over-busy like the near by brewery, which is nice because the place is a little small, especially when it's too cold for the patio. They also have lots of weekly events here that I can't wait to try out!

Maddy C.

Yelp
great outdoor set up for COVID times! The side panels on 3 sides of the area help for warmth on the colder nights, but still have great air flow. Cocktails are delicious and staff is sweet!

Chelsea T.

Yelp
I've always been a fan of small batch hard liquor and supporting local businesses, so it was no surprise to drop by Short Path Distillery! Got the Groupon deal for two of a tour + $10 credit + two pint glasses. With the voucher you only get to choose from a limited number of tour times. The distillery is tucked in a little industrial area in Everett, accessible by Orange Line (just a short 15 minute walk away). There's a popular brewery nearby called Night Shift Brewery as well. There wasn't really much of a tour, but basically the group was shared the history of the founders and how the products came about, and a tasting of the flagship liquors (Gin, Rum and Triple Sec). After that, everyone went to the bar and ordered drinks. I got the Gin & Tonic Flight ($12 for 3) and my companion got the Black Bowtie (Ouzo, SPD Rum, Triple Sec, Grenadine, Bitters). I liked his cocktail a lot, deliciously complex and spicy sweet at the same time. The flight I got included the signature Gin, with Summer (with Blueberries) and Autumn Gin (more cinnamon-ey), it was a good way to taste the different profiles. They also offer their space for event rental. I think it would be a cool place for an office outing as well!

Eric F.

Yelp
Had the gin and tonic flight here. It was amazing. The flight consists of gin, autumn gin, London dry and old Tom. Tasting notes are provided with the flight as well.

Olivia R.

Yelp
I was more impressed with the drinks in the summer to be honest. It's a really cool place but I wasn't really impressed with the fall/winter drink menu. I got the Sunday Funday and it wasn't what I expected. I had two drinks in the summer and they were so outrageous I wanted to come back. I don't think I would come back in the fall/winter again. But I will absolutely come back in the summer.

Vivi D.

Yelp
Great cocktails but one of heaters outside didn't work . After asking multiple times about the heater that wasn't working , we were told that the heater is broken and there is nothing they can do about it .

Lauren K.

Yelp
Drinks were fabulous - I was a big fan of the triple threat in particular. Definitely felt spread out from other parties, which is much appreciated during COVID. Service was slow and we never had our heat lamp turned on despite requesting it (but I figure this could be due to decrease in staff due to COVID regulations?). I docked one star because of the very limited food menu. There was only one item that my gluten free dining partner could order, which was disappointing.

Kia A.

Yelp
Went here with a large group of friends for a birthday on Saturday April 27, 2019. We did the public distillery tour which was very interesting and a good price. The tour guide Weston was really personable and informative. The tour gives three tastings- Gin,Whiskey and Rum. They make all of the alcohol, but they don't sell the whiskey at the location. You can find it at local shops though. They also made all types of things like Triple sec, Rossi and Ouzo. The end of the tour ends with a specialty drink. The distillery is not large, so the tour can go fast if no one has questions. The only down side of the tour is that you don't get to keep the glass that you sample drinks out of. This sucks because I've never been on a drink tour private or public that doesn't give a glass. As for the bar it's a medium size bar with basic concrete floors. They have a few high tables and some normal level tables with wooden chairs. They also have an outdoor area which is heated, I didn't go out there so I can't say how warm it was. The people out there still had on jackets and it was about 50 degrees and sunny so make your own judgement if you want to sit out there. The bar tenders are nice and they move fast. I had a fantastic mock tail for those of you who are on the wagon. Their alcoholic drinks are really good according to the other members of my group. The top ordered drinks were the Mauna Loa and Eastside. They don't have food, but you can order food in to the place. They have board games you can play. They get a extra star because they had the 24 game which is a game for nerdy people which like making math fun. Overall, I would come back if I lived here because it a small business with nice employees and a chill vibe.

Andy V.

Yelp
Short path distillery is such a lowkey place and considering how small it is, I'm pretty sure they prefer it this way. Inside, you'll find seating at either tables or highchairs and on the side are some old looking breweries. The cocktails here are phenomenal and easily some of the best I've had in Boston so far. I went with The Northside, and it had the perfect balance of aromatics, sweetness, and alcohol. There are also a variety of boardgames/playing cards that are laid out for customers to play with. I will definitely come back here if I'm in the area again.

Alex F.

Yelp
Short Path is everything you could want a no-frills, small-scale distillery tasting room to be. The space is industrial and somewhat Spartan, and hidden down an industrial alley in Everett, it feels like a hidden local secret, even as you turn the corner and witness the crush of humanity trying to get into Night Shift's tasting room across the street. This place is just about the booze - their offerings are small, gin and white rum, available in straight tastes, and mixed into about 8 signature cocktails featuring simple mixers and house made bitters and triple sec. [I learned this is because they are not allowed to serve any alcohol they don't make, and that coming this spring were a whole line-up of fun new liquors.] But the tastes are delicious, and the cocktails were yummy, and standardly priced for Boston. My favorite part of the experience was sitting at the bar and chatting up the bartender/owner. He was really excited to share about the distillery, the space, the potential for growth of output and offerings, and answer all our wondering questions about everything alcohol-related! The cup of goldfish was nice, too :) This is a fun spot for people interested in unpretentious, simple, local alcohol production. I see a lot of potential for the space to flesh out (and its clear their distillery room is only a fraction of the way full,) so I am excited to keep visiting back and see what new things are to come!

Alissa S.

Yelp
I visited here with a few friends after work several times now, and I really love their simple, open-concept setup. When the weather is nice they have a great outdoor seating area where you can enjoy your cocktails an relax. As a bonus, you're right by the Teddie Peanut Butter factory so the air often smells like peanut butter cookies :) Speaking of the cocktails, they're excellent - all made to showcase their various liquors which include several different types of gin and rum. I recommend trying one of their seasonal takes on gin - they usually have at least one cocktail on the menu to showcase it. If you can't make it to their location, I've seen Short Path liquors in area stores for sale at competitive mid-shelf pricing. Give them a try!

Yelp
Awesome spot between the Night Shift and Bone Up breweries. Not overcrowded and prompt service. Drinks were excellent - they do 4 styles each of vodka, rye whiskey and gin. The flights are fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the old fashioned flight. They have plenty of games and a real friendly, rustic atmosphere.

Yelp
Awesome selection of cocktails and a really relaxed and cool atmosphere! We had the old Cuban and north side cocktails and they were both great. I also love that they have a selection of bird glasses and that the logo involves all types of birds!

Yelp
This place. Hands down one of our top must visit spots every time we are in Boston. We were visiting some friends around the area and walked over to this bar. Their rum is pretty strong, so if you aren't a rum drinker you may not be a fan. But their gin is the best we have ever had. We usually buy at least 3 or so bottles to bring back each time we visit and we have started getting requests from friends and family to bring them some as well. Their cocktails are spectacular. Hand made. Fresh Ingredients. And always changing and creative combos. The owners of this place are great. We love hanging out and chatting with them. The distillery pup's name is Webber and he is the sweetest thing ever. You get goldfish to munch on with your drinks and Webber will do drinks to get one. :)

Yelp
A+ experience at Short Path distillery. A two minute walk from Night Shift. Super friendly and knowledge staff. Great space. Awesome cocktails and merchandise! Hopped in on a Saturday afternoon to check it out. Was greeted with a tasting and explanation of their rum and gin. Sampled some great cocktails - one with their house made berry shrub! Light, refreshing and perfect for summer. Goldfish crackers accompany drinks for snacking. Left with a bottle of each. Looking forward to making Short Path a regular stop and keeping their spirits as staples of my liquor cabinet!

Yelp
1/13/17 Now distributing these delicious bottles to your local liquor store! Seriously... check the list here: http://shortpathdistillery.com/where-to-find-it/ Haven't tried the summer, but the winter gin - with its rosemary-forward aromas - was DELICIOUS as a martini with an olive, dirty or not... And these also go deliciously with island creek oysters http://shop.islandcreekoysters.com/collections/frontpage/products/50-count-box (always invite a friend who can SHUCK. thanks, jroy!) ------ 6/28/15 Come to the distillery to enjoy a free tour, purchase some merchandise or a pretty bottle of the delicious product, or sip on one of 6 classic cocktails (only $8, 3 gin, 3 rum, see photo)! This old rubber factory has been modified to house this gorgeous gin/rum distillery, but please take a tour to best understand the process. Despite its size, the capacity is currently at 49. Tough to swallow since it could really take more folks. But the space is welcoming, parking is available, food truck present, bathroom, friendly founders, and as an added perk, is right around the corner from night shift brewery. Got a friend or family member who loves gin? Celebrate our local entrepreneurs and purchase them a bottle or two! The gin is smooth and very mixable or sippable solo. The rum packs a punch and makes a bold cocktail even more bold! Enjoy! Best of luck to my pals at Short Path!

Yelp
I first went to Short Path just under a year ago after my sister wouldn't stop raving about it. So when my family and I visited Boston last October, she was quick to show off her favourite cocktail spot. Not only did our entire family enjoy each of their drinks, but the service was also incredible. They allowed us to sample each liquor, explaining all of the key notes and ingredients, and also gave us a tour of the distillery. Needless to say, we were feeling quite pampered. The distillery itself is small, although I just visited Boston last month and they had their recently expanded patio open, so expect to enjoy your beverage(s) in a more intimate setting. Everything is visible from the bar, you can sit and sip while you let your eyes wander, or poke around where allowed to see all of the equipment used to make their delicious liquors. Everyone who works there are very friendly, willing to give suggestions, and always happy to proudly offer samples. They have some of the best gin and rum I've ever tasted. Definitely try their seasonal gins if you can, they're unique and delicious. I'm not sure how parking is, we've always parked closer to Night Shift (just around the corner) and walked to Short Path. They're closed Monday-Wednesday, so be sure to double check their hours before deciding to go :) Overall my top choice for a fantastic, local cocktail when I'm in town.

Yelp
I honestly want to make this spot a weekly hang out for my friends and myself! It's so fun, the cocktails and incredible with all home brewed alcohol, and the vibe is incredibly chill. They host events often from trivia to plant nights and the space is great!

Yelp
Great place to grab a cocktail and pick up a bottle. The bartenders and the people running the place are very friendly and knowledgeable - they did a distillery tour for us. Fresh ingredients in their cocktails Definitely recommend trying out their triple sec and pommeau.

Yelp
The patio is very nice but the drinks are dangerously good! The weather was great the day I went but even if it was raining there is covered seats. I'm not sure what was better, the Vintage Tea or the East Side. I am more than willing to go back to try them again. The staff was amazingly attentive and on top of things. A must stop if your looking for a great outside experience. On top off all this they are dog friendly! A win win for everyone.

Yelp
I love Short Path! Awesome cocktails, really neat story (ask the founders why they started a distillery!) and the chillest tasting room. They rotate the cocktail menu every season, and their cocktails are always super inventive.
