The food was excellent. I wasn't expecting such good value for money. I've tried food at other places, and in comparison, the value here was amazing. I was being honest. I was initially hesitant to come here because the ambience wasn't really like a fine dining restaurant. It just felt like a regular place. But we finally arrived yesterday to a surprise - the food was amazing. We ordered: - Hummus mixed platter - Chicken kebab side dish - Pita bread - Lentil rice (can't remember exact name) Everything was delicious. The quantity was great, and the taste was pretty good. My wife loved it, and I did too. One note: The chicken kebabs were initially a bit undercooked. I felt they weren't breaking down when I chewed. We requested they cook them more, and they did. After that, it was perfect. I would definitely recommend this place. Come and try their platters - the hummus and everything else is great value for money.

The food here was delicious fresh, hot, and made just right. The staff at the front were wonderful, super friendly, and welcoming. They even gave me the option to pay later, which really shows they value their customers. Everything was cooked fresh and tasted amazing. Definitely saving this spot to come back again. Thank you

Google
THIS FOOD IS BOMB! FLAVOR PACKED. I had the chicken shawarma with falafel and fries and Garlic sauce and it came with pita ! It’s amazing the flavors were great and tasted fresh. This beats a chain any day ! It is a must try . The lady at the register was nice as well. Spent 23 dollars and some change . GREAT PRICE !

Google
The food is authentic. The hummus and falafels were delicious. We had a gyro, chicken Shawarma and beef Shawarma. All were uniquely different. The lentils soup just needed a bit of salt. The portions are small for the prices but with inflation, it's understandable.

Google
This food was delicious!! And Ilham gave us the best service we’ve ever had at a Mediterranean restaurant!! It was affordable and delicious. If you plan on taking a trip to Orlando please try this place out! And no, they did not make me do this review lol I just loved the food!!

Google
Food was good but very expensive for the quantity. Ordered the mixed kebab platter, and the beef Kabob was the best one out of chicken and lamb, chicken could have more flavor. Rice was plain, would have been better if it had more flavor seasoning to it. Tzatziki and tahini were watery and sour. The garlic sauce and falafel were amazing though. Also ordered a side of chicken shawarma and that was delicious although it was little quantity. Place was clean and service was good, a fast casual vibe.

Google
Fast service and delicious food at a reasonable price. I would recommend the baba ganoush to anyone, even if they don't like eggplant. The falafel had a perfectly crispy exterior and moist interior.

I chose this restaurant based on positive Google reviews while searching for a halal option, but the experience did not quite meet my expectations. The cashier handed us the menu from his seat instead of engaging with us, which felt unwelcoming. The hot soup was served in a plastic bowl with a plastic spoon, which I found unhealthy, and when I raised this concern, I was told there were no alternatives. Still, with some improvements in service quality, healthier presentation, and overall standards, this restaurant has potential. I truly hope they take such feedback into account and improve, as I believe it could become a much better dining experience.

Yelp
Ordered: Mix Grill Platter (~$26): kefta lamb, kefta beef, and chicken kabob charbroiled over rice and 2 sides (rice & zaatar fries); served with garlic sauce & pita bread Fatoush Salad (~$8) Hummus - 4oz (~$3) Baba Ganoush - 4oz (~$3) Aya's take: Last meal on my Orlando trip and I was in the mood for something light & healthy. Being Middle Eastern myself, I had high hopes for ShouFi MahFi. The Mix Grill Platter had a decent portion of meat considering the price. The kefta lamb & kefta beef were both juicy and delicious; slightly pink on the inside (usually not the case for kefta) but I didn't mind. On the other hand, the chicken kabob was pretty dry and chewy. I didn't realize the platter came with rice already (I guess that's my fault) but it was confusing to see rice as one of the options to select. The zaatar fries were quite soggy and barely had any zaatar on them. I did like the toum aka garlic sauce with all the meats. The Fatoush Salad was also a bit disappointing. There was no taste of lemon or olive oil dressing on it making it super dry. The Hummus & Baba Ganoush were both delicious! Pro-tip, use the fried bread from the fatoush to dip into them. So good! Maybe if I had dined in, it would've been a different experience. This spot is more like a 3.5/4 but if the meats weren't dry and the fatoush was properly dressed, this would've easily been a 4/5.

Yelp
I believe the business has changed hands a few times, although the food quality and menu has not been affected. Im not sure about their hours, Ive stopped for lunch and they were closed. This is great food, clean kitchen, and generous servings for the price. The time it wasnt open we walked nextdoor to the Italian place and it was very good! All home cooked, authentic italian although the chef speaks spanish, italian, and a few more I think, lol.

Yelp
Stopped by for a lunch with my mom. We had beef shawarma, meat pie, veggie platter. The food was really good. I really loved meat pie, grape leaves (dolma), and baba ganoush. Shawarma was very delicious, would be even better if it had veggies. Drinks are only from fridge and bottle water. Place is small, but clean. Food is ordered at cashiers. Overall is a good Lebanese food place.

Yelp
I love shawarmas. My bf and I ordered one combo special beef shawarma and one chicken shawarma and we split half and half so we could try the two different meats. I'd say the chicken one tasted better because it was more juicy and tender.

Yelp
This place is located in a strip mall near the outlets and walking in, immediately the smells have your mouthwatering. The manager is very passionate and will help you with any suggestions for whatever mood you're in to eat. I wanted to get some tabbouleh but since it was after 6pm, he was sold out. Next time, I'll be back earlier since it's a popular menu item. Anyways, I went with the chicken shawarma wrap which is my personal favorite for a on the go meal. I did have to wait for a bit of time however I know that the wrap was freshly made. When I got to my car, I unwrapped my shawarma wrap - and the smells in my car! The chicken is marinated in herbs and spices and is topped with parsley, pickles, tahini and garlic sauce. The garlic sauce here is the star of the show. It's rich and creamy and compliments the tahini so well. The pita wrap is very fresh and soft when you bite into it. Then you have that bite of that crunchy pickle! The textures and flavors will dance on your taste buds when you eat here. I will have to stop by when they first open so I can get a variety of menu items to indulge in.

Yelp
First of all, catchy title! It's what brought me here. Second, Food was great service was excellent ! Generous portion , I got the beef shawarma wrap combo and it reminded me of back home in Palestine. I also liked how they don't overload on veggies to take away from the flavor. Plenty of parking so no worries about where to park in busy Orlando . I Will return anytime I am in the area!

Yelp
10/10. We got their mixed plate and gyro wrap and man, they were both excepcional. Often grilled meats and gyro meat can be kind of dry, but not here! Seriously, everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We'll be coming back soon and often

Yelp
This was my first time trying chicken shawarma. Employee was so confident that I would like it, he offered my money back if I did not. I was not disappointed. It was excellent. The restaurant is small, but very clean. It is not in the best location, but it did start to get busy as I was leaving. It seem to be a big hit with the locals. It is definitely worth seeking out for the quality of food.

Yelp
First time at this restaurant where we were looking for something light to eat and ordered Tabouli and grilled chicken. The food in general was well cooked and tasty and the chicken in particular was grilled to perfection and quite tender which is just the way I like it! Relative to the business itself the inside is a bit on the rustic side where first impressions can be misleading as to how good this food is. Relative to service this is a counter order business where food is brought to your table after you order for inside dining or optionally you can do takeout. Definately something to keep in mind is you are looking for a more traditional sit down dining experience. Overall this is an excellent option if you are looking for Mediterranean food and/or healthy eating options And a business you should check ot if you are in the area.
google avatar

Serina A.

Yelp
You can tell in my pictures that their chicken is FANTASTIC! It's marinated well and grilled to perfection. This place is halal which always makes the meat taste so much better and come out juicier in general which is probably why this place is so dang good. I'm SO glad I stopped here and if I'm ever in the area again I would definitely eat here. I highly recommend this spot. I ordered the CHICKEN KABOB PLATTER which comes with two sides, I chose the TABOULEH which is a parsley salad and the BULGAR which is the orange colored grains in the picture because I didn't think the platter also came with rice. If I were to order again I'd probably get the babaganoush or hummus with the tabouleh salad. The KEFTA PLATTER with ground beef kefta kabobs was delicious as well. I don't usually like kefta, but this place does them pretty well and flavored them nicely. Sometimes at restaurants, kefta can get dry, but AGAIN they were cooked to perfection, perfect moisture content. Since this was a platter it came with two sides which were both standard/good. Thank you so much for providing great quality Mediterranean food in the area! Your chicken is PERFECT!!!!

Yelp
The food is always consistently delicious. The same friendly staff. A small store front I usually order pick up and bring it home. Fresh great food!
google avatar

Ahad D.

Yelp
No frills, just great food. There are a few seats, but the fresh cooked food is always ready in about 10 minutes. I've had chicken, beef, falafel, nearly every side, and there have been no misses. If you need a healthy weekday meal, let them do the cooking.
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
Wanted to try it because the food looked delicious! Saw their website and headed there for lunch. When we arrived we found out that not only was the special ON THE WEBSITE not available, when we asked if they would honor it they said...NO! That was all it took to leave as quickly as possible! Bad business!!!

Doug B.

Yelp
Good food and quickly made. Had takeout. They had it ready when I go there. From the slimness of the shwarma wrapped up I thought it was small. Until i started eating. It was wrapped tightly but FULL of beef
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
So I have been to a few of these restaurants in the Plaza but this was my first time here. It wasn't very busy which was great cause I wasn't in a hurry but I did have things to do. I stepped up and ordered a soda and a beef shawarma to eat in. The staff here is friendly and dare I say hip. I did take some time to get my order which was surprising. The shawarma was filled with a generous amount of beef but lacked much tahiti or pickles. To be honest the quality of beef was pretty average and a bit on the tough side. Also it lacked much flavor, not terrible but just OK. I have enjoyed shawarma in several places abroad that make it amazing. I'm sad to report that I have only on a few occasions found anything close to that quality in the USA. This place just doesn't impress and I am surprised that so many have given it 5 stars, Maybe it's the hipster vibe you get from the staff and clientele? Now, I think it's just people don't know any better. Come to my hiuse and I'll make you a lamb shawarma that will change your life.
google avatar

Sam S.

Yelp
Fantastic food, baba ganoush was smoky and hummus lemony. Schawerma platter and wraps, both great in flavor. The shish tawook platter was good too. Takeout so didn't get to dine in. Overall great experience and will be coming back again! Tip: try fries inside the schawerma wraps - always hits the spot
google avatar

Dody E.

Yelp
Delicious chicken shawarma wrap here! Service was also very nice, and the place looks and feels like a true deli. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area.
google avatar

K S.

Yelp
I have been here a few times in the past. The last time I came here the restaurant had new ownership but the meal was still as delicious as ever. Today I'm back and the service is great. I'm also very grateful that they were willing to make a couple small adjustments to meet my mom's dietary needs (sauces on the side, etc.). I have recommended this spot before and will continue to do so.
google avatar

Angela T.

Yelp
Great little place! Almost passed by but happy I didn't. Wanted to grab a quick wrap and bit. Had the chicken wrap, and lamb wrap. I noticed they had zatar fries and I thought it was such a smart idea to "spice up" the fries. The meat pies were also delicious. The service was quick and friendly- exactly what you want when hungry. I left satisfied.
google avatar

Yelp
Waited three hours to eat here, cause we were at universal, worth it! Best food in Orlando! 5 stars for a reason
google avatar

Marcus M.

Yelp
I didn't care for this food. The beef shawarma had a strong lemon flavor that was off putting. The hummus was not good either. The beef and cheese pizza was ok but lacked flavor.
google avatar

John G.

Yelp
We enjoyed the food here and the conversation with the owner. We ordered the beef shawarma wrap and the beef shawarma platter with baba ghanouj and falafel. Everything tasted good and the portion was large enough. We're happy we stopped by!
google avatar

Jeremy L.

Yelp
KUDOS and thanks so much to the staff at this wonderful Mediterranean restaurant here in Orlando! I ordered the Baba Ghanouj appetizer, and it was to die for! The ambiance is very quiet so I can enjoy my meal! I highly recommend all to come and visit to support this local business!
google avatar

Yelp
We got the beef shawarma plate it was so dry and not tasty at all. And my boyfriend got stomachache right after eating the food. I am middle eastern myself and I wouldn't want anyones first mediterranean food experience to be this...

Francesca D.

Yelp
Delicious and fresh food. We had the shawarmas and they were easily some of the best we've had on this side of town,

Carri C.

Yelp
I was very pleased with this place. It is a small restaurant in a strip mall, but the food was very good. The Tabouli was tart and fresh, the chicken platter came with so much food. Hummus was creamy and good. The grape leaves were standard but tasty. Will definitely stop back
google avatar

Rebekah P.

Yelp
My second visit here and I will return! Fast and friendly service in a casual order-at-the-counter restaurant. Great spot for a quick bite. Got the half cheese half zatar pie and a beef keftah wrap- all delicious!
google avatar

Ausaf A.

Yelp
Excellent Food Great Service. The zatir bread and chicken shawarma was so yummy, cooked to perfection! Meat was juicy tender , just the right amount of spices . The owner was a friendly guy, will visit again
google avatar

Vero M.

Yelp
This place was amazing! I was kind of worried and thought that it wouldn't be but it is, the food is fresh and delicious. These guys really know what they are doing. Everything tastes great, everything was prepared correctly, the serving size is perfect if not more than enough. Definitely give them a try.
google avatar

Yelp
Have had my eye on this place for while but the limited opening hours (due to family health needs) thwarted my efforts for months. So when I had a serendipitous extended lunch on a weekday, I jumped at the opportunity and high-tailed it to ShouFi Mahfi. The employee at the counter was super helpful for navigating the menu and providing recommendations. Ended up ordering the beef shawarma plate w/ baba ghanouj and grape leaves, tabbouleh, and the spinach pie, which was being advertised as being "back" and piqued my interest. The food was brought out within 10 minutes and was quickly enjoyed. The balance of flavors in the plate and tabbouleh made for a delicious and satisfying meal. The spinach pie resembled a spanakopita but without the creamy cheese in the filling and a breaded dough instead of phyllo. It was okay but I would probably skip next time. Overall, a fantastic experience at a place that deserves the high ratings it has online. Crossing my fingers that all goes well with the family's health and they can extend their hours so in the future I can come back more easily!
google avatar

Karen V.

Yelp
The restaurant was bright and clean and the staff was pleasant. I ordered the falafel with pita. The spices used made the falafel taste delicious but they were cooked into oblivion. I could have used them as door knockers. It's too bad because they tasted so good once I got through the hard overcooked outside. I love Mediterranean food so I will give this place another try

David U.

Yelp
Overpriced relative to the portion (tiny), beef shawarma tastes like sh*t. Also waited 25 mins for 5 wraps. Thought it would be really good bc of all the good reviews.

Micki P.

Yelp
We ordered the chicken schwarma and the chicken kabob platters. The chicken kabob pieces were very dry and overcooked. The rice was dry and tasteless in both dishes. Greek salad was good as was the hummus, however we were very disappointed after having read all the great reviews.
google avatar

Tasneem A.

Yelp
5 stars for friendly service and authentic middle eastern food! The owner was so friendly and checked up on us regularly. The food was delicious and authentic. Let's not forget to mention the prices! Everything was priced very well. I always go out to dinner with my family and this was the first time everyone left happy. We even got more the next day! I love how the platter comes with rice and two sides of your choice. The hummus and baba ganoush are delicious. We also really loved the zaatar fries and would recommend you give them a try. If you are looking for some delicious and authentic midddle eastern food, give this place a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
google avatar

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Really liked this little corner restaurant! Who seemed to be the owner was very welcoming and friendly. He said they specialize in Lebanese food and the meaning of "ShouFi MahFi" is a greeting that translates to "what's up?". So that was nice to learn! We tasted the baba ghanouj, chicken & beef shawarma wrap and the meet/cheese pie. The pie being my favorite one, soo good!! Would come back just for that :)
google avatar

Lorenzo K.

Yelp
Yes. They are that good. Come here if you want a wildly delicious and satisfying meal. I got the lamb kebab, chicken shwarma, hummus and babaganoush. Man behind the counter kindly gave me extra bread cuz he knew I some extra dipping to get done. One of the easiest 5 stars I've given.
google avatar

Greg S.

Yelp
First off all - all my favorite vegan/vegetarian options are here: Falafel Tabbouleh Hummus Baba Dolma Fatoush salad Went for my standard falafel wrap and a side of tabbouleh. Falafel was great! Done perfectly. Tabbouleh was exactly to my liking - right amount of lemon. I've got to tell you that my expectation was a four but this place is top notch. I don't give out a lot of fives. If you dig Mediterranean - This Is The Place!!! Thanks to all for great food and service!
google avatar

Dianna A.

Yelp
We tried two platters and were disappointed in both. The tabouhle had two much citrus. The Schwarma was tough and flavorless. The fries were flaccid. The rice was ok. The restaurant is an austere diner. I hope this was just an off day, but not a 5 star meal.
google avatar

Shayla B.

Yelp
This place does not look like much from the outside and is easy to overlook, but the reviews do not like - the food here is phenomenal! We were greeted as we first entered with smiles, suggestions, and good-natured jokes. My husband and I both got the chicken shawarma plates so we could enjoy an extensive selection of side dishes. I got the baba ganoush and tabouli which were perfect compliments to my shawarma. My husband enjoyed the hummus and the falafel. The falafel was perfectly crunchy and crisp on the outside while still being tender on the inside. Everything was cooked perfectly, spiced thoroughly, and served in generous portions. If we didn't live across the country we would be back again and again!
google avatar

Alex T.

Yelp
Shockingly good, with excellent service. I came here randomly for lunch with some coworkers after another place in the strip mall had a wait. None of us had been before. There's a reason this place has such a high rating. I don't live in the area, but when I'm in town for business, this will always be a place I visit for lunch.
google avatar

Maria S.

Yelp
We were on a hunt for a very good halal food. A friend of mine ordered this and food was tasty! Falafel was good cheese and zatar pie hit the spot, chicken and beef with rice was just a bit dry but worked well with more sauce. Easy to find spot, quick service.
google avatar

Francesca D.

Yelp
Sooooo delicious! Highly recommend! Will absolutely return! First off, when we walked in the manager or owner who was taking orders was so friendly and welcoming. I was already excited and hoped the reviews held up. Place was spotless, especially for a casual joint, we wanted to eat inside so was happy to see this. He helped me choose a 2nd side, then called back the order, then I heard it called out in the kitchen. Love when I'm at a place that does this, because it usually means your order is being freshly prepared. 5 minutes or so later he brought our orders over to the table. Wow, were my expectations exceeded. Everything was so well seasoned, fresh, and tasty. I got the combo platter and my husband got the tawook platter, we both got hummus and mujadarra (lentils & rice). The rice base is so good and the garlic sauce it comes with tastes amazing on everything. Both the chicken and steak kabob were super juicy. Then the kefta had an intense minty seasoned flavor, I liked it paired with the garlic sauce, but would say to get something else if you don't like strong flavors. We also got a side of falafel, which was nice and moist, I'm not usually a falafel person, but I liked this one. The combo was BIG so I tried to eat half, then save half to bring back and eat a little later. Then I couldn't stop myself because it was so good, so I got through like 90%. My husband demolished his and seriously didn't even leave a grain of rice. This was a welcome change of food as we had been in town for a Disney/Universal weekend. So I definitely recommend anyone in town that needs a break from park food, come here for a laid-back, delicious meal. Excited to come back and try the rest of the menu.
google avatar

Zaid N.

Yelp
Amazing pies for breakfast; reminds me of back home! Placed an order one Saturday morning online for a lot of pies and the order was ready as promised! Ordered the cheese pie, zaatar pie and the cheese & zaatar pie. Pies were delish and I can't wait to come back to try other items!
google avatar

Michael A.

Yelp
This place was fantastic. I loved everything. I ordered the beef kofta platter and I must say that everything was packed with so much flavor. I will be returning to try more of the menu. The service was amazing. They know their manners very well. The place has a great atmosphere with a chill energy.
google avatar

Nidia M.

Yelp
The place is quaint , clean and love the walls with drawings and names of the various foods. The staff greeted us-with a smile ,from the time we walked in. The food came out in a short time , without neglecting the flavor. Everything we order tasted incredibly delicious , specially the grape leaves and Tabbouleh . Every visit to Orlando we will make it a purpose to eat at Shoufi Mahfi
google avatar

Brian M.

Yelp
In the sea of dining options along Sand Lake, ShouFi MahFi effortlessly secures its spot as a standout on my go-to list. The Falafel Wrap is a delight - seamlessly blending freshness with a satisfying crunch from the lettuce and falafel, creating a delightful symphony of texture and flavor. It stands out as one of the best wraps in town. Call ahead, or enjoy the good vibes here as the kind staff takes care of the rest. I'm already craving a Falafel Wrap now!

Yelp
I have eaten a LOT of baba ghanouj, grape leaves, hummus, and grilled meats in my time. Unfortunately, often this cuisine--at least as it's served in most area eateries--can be boring and not very memorable. If you can relate, let me introduce you to the place that's going to turn all that around: ShouFi MahFi. I have never had a meal like this. I got the chicken tawook platter and my partner got the beef shawarma. No overcooked chicken here! And the marinade?!? I can usually take or leave beef but my partner's beef was incredible!! The baba ghanouj was deliciously smoky and the hummus was beautifully fluffy and flavorful. The little yogurt that came with my chicken was so delightfully tangy and a perfect accompaniment. The grape leaves were hands down the best I've ever had, and I have eaten them all over the world. I cannot speak highly enough of the meal I just ate. Do yourself a favor and get some of this fantastic food. Fair warning: you may never want to eat this style of food from another establishment again.

Yelp
Great service and amazing food. Loved the swarma and baba ganush. All fresh but didn't take long at all to get the food.

Yelp
We found this hidden gem by accident. This review was written during the Covid19 stay-at-home period. We called ahead and ordered. The person taking our order was friendly and very helpful. He confirmed everything and asked clarifying questions too. The pickup process was quick and efficient. This family business makes you feel so welcome from the very first interaction. We walked in and the smell of Turkish coffee was like a strong warm hug. We took our food home. We ordered meat pie, chicken shawarma, falafel, and fattoush. Everything tasted authentic and full of flavor. The fried pita chips on the fattoush had a perfect amount of crunch and did not feel greasy. The garlic sauce was amazing. The meat pie was nicely seasoned and the hummus was very creamy. We highly recommend trying one of everything and ordering extra garlic sauce.
