A Fantastic Middle Eastern Experience at Shouk, Drumcondra
If you’re looking for a vibrant, flavour-packed culinary experience in Dublin, Shouk in Drumcondra is a must-visit. This outdoor food hall offers a warm, relaxed ambiance that perfectly complements its delicious Middle Eastern cuisine.
We ordered the Large Mezze Platter, which was a feast in itself — with crispy falafels, soft pitas, creamy hummus, fresh salads, smoky babaganoush, and a bold hit of Zhug. While I personally didn’t enjoy the tahini (just a matter of personal taste), my friends absolutely loved it.
For dessert, the Knafeh was the real standout — rich, sweet, and beautifully presented. Drinks-wise, they have a small but decent selection of cocktails and pints; nothing extraordinary, but they complement the food nicely.
The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe was laid-back yet lively — perfect for a casual evening out. I’m already looking forward to going back and trying more dishes. If you’re a fan of Middle Eastern flavours, Shouk is definitely worth a visit.
