This shop in Echo Park is a delightful boutique with unique, curated gifts. It’s a small shop packed with personality, perfect for finding something special if you are browsing. Don’t expect a big store, but that’s what makes it so charming.

Shout and About the kind of store you walk into and instantly feel happier! There’s such a great mix of fun, unique finds, I always leave with something I didn’t know I needed. Love the energy and the whole shopping experience! Both stores are such a fun vibe!

I have been wanting to visit Shout and About for YEARS but never had the time due to living in Orange County. I’m so glad I stopped by! This is a cute little shop filled to the brim with unique gifts, stationery, and knick-knacks. The person working while I was there was extremely warm and welcoming, and I didn’t feel rushed or pressured to buy anything (even though I did haha). If you’re in the area it’s definitely worth stopping by! Parking can be a little tough but there is almost always a street spot somewhere nearby.

The perfect place to shop for life's little luxuries and thoughtful everyday items. You'll find beautiful gifts for any occasion... from delicious-smelling P.F. Candle Co. favorites, to Rifle Paper products, to delicate jewelry and baby items, even stunning plants and cards. Every time I walk in, I walk out with something wonderful in hand.

Was going to pick up flowers from Cookbook as a gift and it was closed. So I popped into Shout and About to grab a card and small present instead. They have a great selection of special cards and well curated gifts (including gifts that you will need to buy for yourself...). Jewelry, books, and even potted succulents! Parking is a bit challenging in this area but totally worth the hunt.

Just the sweetest neighborhood shop. So glad they're still online and open with limited availability during covid. An absolute treasure of a store. I get all my baby shower gifts, cards, stationary & occasionally jewelry from them. 💗

Located on Echo Park Avenue, among a little cluster of shops and cafés, Shout and About is a cute little gift shop with an emphasis on young children. In this tiny shop there are the typical things you'd expect in a Los Angeles area gift store: funny cards, scented candles, stationary, bags, stuffed animals and the like. However, I will say that they had some interesting items that I don't see nearly as often. For example, they had taper candles in multiple sizes and colors. As I said, this places definitely has en emphasis on kids. There are baby clothes, stickers, toys and the like. The prices are about typical of such stores: not cheap, but not outrageous either. The clerk on duty was pleasant and helpful. A sweet place to stop by, especially for gifts for young children.

We were in the area headed to the LA ZOO and wanted to check out this store. Loved it! Small but mighty with lots of merch for everyone. Baby books, stationary, decorations you name it. I went right at open and the cashier was friendly. Left with a children's book and a sticker for $16. There was a couple stores on the same block that weren't open but next time! Parking can be tricky but if you get lucky stop by!

this is the type of place in echo park you wanna stumble into after a couple glasses of wine nextdoor. it's a gift shop you're down to spend money on for quirky expensive pop culture bday cards despite it being no one's bday any time soon. i've bought little plants, pins, patches, cards, candles and much more there. if i could buy the entire store i would lol. something possesses you to want it all the minute you step inside.

I recently shopped at Shout and About. I came across their shop in Yelp while was doing Christmas shopping. It is a small store so it is hard to find at first, and parking is also quite challenging. I was greeted by a warm welcome by the person working there. I was overjoyed by all the cute gifts I can find. Though it was kinda pricy. I was short in time so I had to hurry. I did not really take my time to go through everything. Then when I was checking out she was able to wrap the gift in short amount of time. Definitely a store to go back to. (P.S. It is not the store's fault if u can't find a parking :) )

I enjoyed stopping by this little gift shop in Echo Park. I was on the hunt for a birthday card for my boyfriend and found just the thing - echoing other reviewers, this place would be great if you're looking for a generic gift, although I'll say it was more of a feminine leaning store in its goods. It's very small and I wish that their offering was a bit more unique, I felt like there wasn't anything that really wowed me. There also isn't a lot of stationary. That being said, the stuff was super friendly, the prices were reasonable, and it's in a good location. I would return to buy another card!

Super cute!! Love the items and the way everything is displayed. I didn't get to purchase anything, but they had bath and body items, cbd infused things, cards, Nic knacks, stuffed toys, pens. If you're looking for an interesting gift then come here!

Such a darling gift shop. They have things for kids to adults - candles, plants, jewelry. I also love their selection of cards and gift wrapping. My go-to whenever I have to grab a small gift. The staff has always been super friendly. Highly recommend!

I LIVE for a good gift shop!!! I was strolling around in the neighborhood & the window display of this shop caught my eye! They have a little bit of everything here. iPhone cases, bags, journals, planners, art, wrapping paper, cards, etc!! This is a girly girl's heaven with just the right amount of cute (you won't be annoyed or nauseated by the amount of cute here). I walked away with a very reasonably priced watercolor pastel painting with the frame (under $40!!), a planner, a book and some cards. It made my day! ;-D The customer service was great! A great place for unique gift ideas!

Fun cool boutique , my fiancé loves this store and always leaves with 1-2 items every time we come here. Smells good with the candle selections. They have cute baby attire and books for them. Very chill vibes here.

I have always been met with kind words and faces when entering my favorite neighborhood gift shop. They have a great range of small gifts and excellent cards at a very fair price for how unique their selection is. The energy feels great and the their vibe has continued as do their years in Echo Park. I highly recommend going here for a quick gift or something to treat yourself.

A very small but cute shop filled with very aesthetic cards, journals, note pads, pins, art, and more. They even sell cosmetics like 14e cosmetics and Herbivore Botanicals. For sure you will find a gift for your girlfriends here. I'm definitely coming back to get some pins for my denim jacket. :)

Best place! Best cards! Best gifts! Best people!! For real though I love this place and I'm so happy they've opened up shop in my neighborhood. Perfect place to get a cute card and last minute gifts. They sell cute plants too! One of the owners who I see when I come in is so nice and has great customer service. I'll definitely be back!

The CUTEST shop that has ever existed. It is so tastefully curated and beautifully organized. From adorable home-goods to irresistible party items to the most enchanting cards -- this place is definitely one of my new favorite spots in LA. It's a tiny store, but there is so much to look at and so much to discover. Including: jewelry, artwork, potted succulents, notebooks/planners, candles/fragrances, gift wrapping, bags, dish ware, kitchen items, tea towels -- the list goes on. It's not the cheapest of stores, but the prices were to be expected. It would be the perfect place to go if you needed a special something or a gift for someone. Will definitely be returning!!

I stumbled on this adorable Echo Park gift shop last year while getting my hair done next door. It's one of my favorite gift shops in LA. Beautifully designed and aesthetically-inspiring, with a little bit of something for everyone and every occasion. I've bought cards, gifts, even framed art here, usually inspired by the owner's incredible taste and eye. Love this place!

I discovered this gem of a gift shop when I still lived in Echo Park. They have an abundance of cute and affordable unique items. Pretty much every time I come into buy a gift for someone I end up with something for myself too!

I absolutely adore this little boutique! I live a block away, so I tend to wander in there about once a week. The staff is so friendly, and the product selection is to die for. With so many celebrations throughout the year, it's easy to pop in and find a great gift! Not to mention there awesome card selection... I have recently been shopping their plant/succulent collection, which rotates frequently. They also have some great gifts for yourself or your home. Just the most inspired gift shop ever. The fact that I can find something for every occasion in a pinch has made me go here for everything. It's improved my relationships with friends that have moved out of state by making it effortless to send the cutest notes & cards. I have jewelry, candles, stationary and plants that I found there that I ADORE. They sell items from local independent artists too. I pop in once a week because I don't want to miss anything. The owner has a big heart and rescues/fosters dogs constantly. They get extra credit in my book for that.

Shout and About is in a cute little row of salons, shops, and cafes. The shop is small, but they have a lot of knick knacks to offer, including a quarter wall of cute cards, pins from The Good Twin and Valley Cruise Press, candles, books, journals/planner, perfumes, and jewelry. I wasn't sure what I wanted so I just stopped by to look, but there's surely something here for your cool hipster friend's birthday.

My favorite little shop in Echo Park. Every time I need a gift I always manage to find the perfect thing at this store. Everyone who works there is super helpful and sweet. 100% recommend for cute gifts for others or yourself.

I absolutely cannot wait until I need something -- a card, gift wrapping, a new phone case, artwork, or absolutely anything needed to throw a great garden party -- because I will be running back here. This is possibly the cutest store in LA. A few of the LA instagram accounts I follow were posting about this place and I had to come check it out for myself. The prices are less than I expected and there is such an abundance of things that made my wallet want to jump out of my bag. The women behind the counter were super nice and helpful - not hovery - and I will most certainly be back!

Absolutely love this shop. Tamara does an incredible job of sourcing local crafts, jewelry and other fun home offerings. Her prices are very reasonable, and she is so helpful. I special ordered a bracelet that had sold out, and she went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with what I got. The bracelet is absolutely gorgeous, and I ended up buying a ring as well. This type of boutique is not easy to do well, and she does it the best I have seen!

i loved going to this store today. it's impeccably organized and bright, the selection is fantastic. they sell a variety of neat stuff- jewelry, cards, tea towels, bags.. they also sell a lot of plants and planters which is right up my alley. i recommend this shop for a sweet gift or souvenir

This little store is tiny -- but she's stuffed so much in there, you have to take your time and take it all in. It's a treasure box of sweet gifts you'll want to give and keep for yourself. I also love the succulents and plants! Have bought several!! Also, the proprietress is extremely helpful and sweet.

A super adorable neighborhood shop that's perfect for small gifts, wrapping essentials, and unique cards. I love supporting local shops, and many of the products are from LA-based artists and companies, as well. A very reasonable price point with an overall great vibe. A great addition to Echo Park!
