Here’s What to Expect at Ethel’s Fancy, Palo Alto’s New Restaurant From a French Laundry Alum | Eater SF

"A new Brazilian steakhouse called Show de Carnes is planned to open this fall at 196 Donahue Street in the Marin Gateway Shopping Center; the 6,500-square-foot churrascaria aims to be the only rodízio-style restaurant in the area, with the next nearest similar option being Fogo de Chão on Third Street in San Francisco." - Paolo Bicchieri

Google
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding—especially the meats, all cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The salad and sides buffet was beautifully presented with plenty of fresh options. Service was very attentive, with servers constantly offering different cuts without us having to ask. The atmosphere was elegant and comfortable, perfect for a family outing or special occasion. Everything was clean and tastefully decorated. We came for lunch and will definitely be coming back.

Google
My dad and I came here for the the first time this afternoon and we were very impressed. Everything was so spectacular, I tell you, from the amazing salad bar to the perfectly salted, succulent, fire-grilled cuts of meat, (beef in particular) that are hand-carved at your table in typical Brazilian churrasco fashion. The waitresses were really good-looking and accommodating as well, which added to the overall experience. The atmosphere was so perfect. If I had a restaurant, I'd want it to share the same quality of food and ambiance as Show de Carnes. Their premium Rodízio was sooo terrific, I simply won't forget it! I give 5/5 on everything because I feel it's so well deserved. It was literally the best meal I'd had in a long time. Excellent job guys, we look forward to returning soon with more friends and family!

Google
The service and atmosphere were definitely the highlights. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the night feel welcoming, and the restaurant had a fun, lively vibe that is great for groups or a special outing. That said, the meat quality did not feel as high end as I was expecting for the price. Overall it was a good experience because of the hospitality and setting, but the food itself fell a little short for me.

Google
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel truly special throughout the evening. They even surprised us with a complimentary dessert and a beautifully set table, which added such a thoughtful touch to our celebration. It made our night even more memorable. The buffet offered a great variety of delicious options. We especially loved the meats — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and not overly salty, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be coming back and will gladly recommend this place to our family and friends. Thank you for making our anniversary celebration so special!

Google
Never fails to impress. I love this place and am so happy they finally filled the void left by Outback Steakhouse. This is our go-to place for birthdays and fun family occasions. It's great for big groups. Definitely skip lunch before coming here, and don't overdue it on the salad bar and cheese puffs before the main attraction (meat, duh!)

Google
This restaurant is absolutely amazing! Super fast service, loved every single piece of meat. The staff was great, super friendly and accommodating. We came with our 4 children under 12 and they absolutely loved it! They loved the atmosphere and environment and how friendly the staff was. We even got some birthday desert at the end! Our drinks were always refilled and the speed of service and meats was fantastic! The salad bar was great! You definitely have to wait for the cinnamon pineapple and the grilled cheese squares with honey!!!! They were delicious!

Google
This was our first time at a Brazilian Steak House and our experience was amazing! We came in for the lunch Rodizio and food was delicious! The cuts of meat were well seasoned, tender, and perfect levels of fat. Our favorite was the Picanha and Ribeye but there is definitely a lot more to choose from. The service was very friendly and attentive. Since we were the for lunch, the dining room was much less crowded and the servers were very welcoming and informative for any questions we had since it was our first time. There were only 5 other tables while we were there so the meat carvers visited our table very frequently. The dining room is very clean and has a good neutral lighting. The salad bar is well organized and presented in a very appetizing manner too. In terms of value, we came in for the lunch Rodizio which is around ~50$ per person and you definitely get your moneys worth for the amount and quality of food you are getting. Originally we just came to celebrate our anniversary, but we would definitely comeback for the Lunch Rodizio again for the Value and Experience!

Google
Absolutely incredible experience! The service from Vilmar and Mateo was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Every cut of meat was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor — the picanha was melt-in-your-mouth amazing! The salad bar was fresh and beautifully presented, and the sides complemented the meats perfectly. The atmosphere was lively yet elegant, making it a perfect spot for both celebrations and date nights. Highly recommend this place if you want authentic Brazilian steakhouse vibes and top-tier service.

Yelp
I made a reservation for 7:15pm on a Friday to celebrate my husband's birthday. The restaurant was half full at the time we arrived. We were seated promptly and they gave us a happy birthday sign. The meats came around pretty quick and it was hard to keep up! All the servers were very friendly and constantly checked in on us. Some asked if we had a special request so I requested for the grilled pineapples since I didn't see it come around and minutes later, they brought it out! The meats were seasoned perfectly and not too tough. Some were a little overly salty for my liking but their meat quality was probably better than other Brazilian steakhouses I've eaten at. The salad bar had good options and it is the only place that serves sushi but honestly, it didn't look too appetizing to me. I'd say focus on the meats! Lots of birthday celebrations that day and the employees would sing a song. We didn't get that for our table (but that's ok). Our server brought us a complimentary caramel flan to celebrate.

Yelp
I experienced this establishment with my partner and in-laws during a birthday dinner for my father-in-law and it was recommended to us by my mom who had visited during the lunch hour a few times as it's close to her work in Marin. Sadly for me, it was a sensory nightmare, but I won't hold that against the restaurant since it's a specific type of place and the experience includes lots of noise, constant servers appearing at your table to offer new meats, and a buffet (which I am simply not a fan of overall). The food was good, I am not one to judge meats in depth but the fried cheese balls at the beginning were AMAZING, truly, I might return one day just to get as many of these as they will sell me It's not a cheap meal, and the quality of the meat reflects the price in most of the selections. My ONLY gripe with this spot specifically is that they pushed alcohol at every table many many times throughout the night, and that bothered me a bit, my mom is 90 days sober and I couldn't help but think that a situation like this one might be difficult for her. I realize that isn't the responsibility of the restaurant but the constant pushing of different kinds of tequila tastings was excessive even without that personal detail. I guess all in all: it's incredibly loud, incredibly chaotic, and offers an incredibly wide range of great meats and traditional dishes, plus copious amounts of table service up-sell liquor every 10-15 minutes. Wasn't for me but surely a meat lover's cup of tea-(bone) heh heh.

Yelp
Show de las Cranes is one of Sausalito's true treasures--a vibrant Brazilian restaurant that instantly transports you with its flavors, atmosphere, and warm hospitality. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed with the kind of friendliness that makes you feel like family. The décor is colorful and inviting, blending Brazilian charm with the coastal beauty of Sausalito. It's the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch, a romantic dinner, or a lively night out with friends.

Yelp
Great experience once again. Delicious meats and huge salad bar. On the darker side in the dining area. Service is great. They are very prompt. Only thing still is the floors are very slippery. Be careful walking to the restrooms!!

Yelp
I still have dreams about their ribeye and filet mignon. Brazilian steakhouse ayce 101 is all about filling up with protein! We went in a group of 7 with kids. They're very accommodating! They gave us a corner so it would be easier for the stroller. Large space with ample seating. The meat just kept coming, everything completely tasty. They knew we liked it cooked medium rare, so they immediately came to our table first to get the first cuts! The salad, cold meats, fruit, and other appetizers in the center of the restaurant were refilled constantly.

Yelp
Service was incredible...One of the servers worked at another Brazilian Restaurant called Galpoa and we recognized each other. We ordered the Wagyu Special on top of the regular menu and it was a lot of meat. The Wagyu we got was a huge steak that was delicious. Never once did we have to call for service. The food was tasty and on par with Fogo, Galpoa and Chama so as you can see I go to these enough. On par if not more tender. Beef rib was a tad over cooked just a tad but still juicy and yum. Condiments were good but were missing green onion salad which I am used to. However, they had a mayo shrimp side that was absolutely delicious. Overall it was excellent. Ambiance was nice and intimate though the table could have been spaced better as I thought they were a tad too close. No hit but a recommendation. Most people do not like being that close. It was dark but not too dark. I liked it but some people would probably not like it. It was perfect. We enjoyed everything and would recommend this Brazilian spot to anyone looking for a solid Brazilian steakhouse.

Yelp
If you're craving Brazilian BBQ, this spot is a must! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome--super attentive without being overbearing. The service is quick, and the servers were constantly coming around with fresh cuts of meat (perfectly seasoned and cooked just right). The ambiance is one of my favorite parts--it's dark, warm, and cozy, which makes it feel more intimate and relaxed compared to a lot of other churrascarias. It's a great place for date night or even a small group dinner. The salad bar was fresh, but honestly, the meats are the star here. Juicy picanha, tender lamb, and perfectly crispy chicken wrapped in bacon... everything was delicious. Plates were cleared quickly, drinks stayed full, and we never had to wait long for the next skewer to come by. Overall, excellent food, even better service, and such a nice vibe. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
Show de carnes is one of the better Brazilian steakhouse options in the area. However there isn't as much flexibility for not ordering the all you can eat meat. I prefer restaurants that allow you to pick one meat choice and get unlimited salad bar access. That being said, the meat quality was a little above average but certain meats were better than other. My favorites were the filet mignon, Parmesan pork, shrimp, and pineapple (I know the last is not meat). The lamb didn't taste fresh and was chewy. A lot of the beef cuts were too fatty and too bloody. Salad bar was pretty good. All the vegetables looked fresh and I really liked the creamy meat and mushroom dish! They also had papaya, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I would not return here because there is 0% chance that i got my money's worth. The total for two people came out to about 200$ so you could get a much higher quality meal for cheaper than that, and still be plenty full. And to be frank, the experience isn't worth the hefty price tag.

Yelp
First time in and we were greeted by Gabriel, He had fantastic customer service skills, very welcoming, a happy face- doinga great job. The best was the medium rare ribeye with mashed potatoes. Some waiters were better than others.

Yelp
The hype is REAL. Having frequented Espetus and Fogo de Chao, I'm pretty familiar with the Brazilian Steakhouse AYCE model. Making the excursion to Sausalito from SF to check this place out was finally worth it. Staff was friendly and had upbeat personalities. The food was phenomenal. The pichania cut was def my favorite steak followed by the garlic steak which was buttery and garlicky!! Don't skip on the grilled pineapple! You get a card to flip on your table if you want more neat or if you want to pause. The servers will gladly follow your choice based on what your card says on the table. The self service bar has a variety if sides such as salami, cheese, salads, fruits, mushrooms and sushi! It's a hard toss up between Espetus and Show de Carnes. Can't go wrong with either! Perfect restaurant for a birthday, date night, or any celebration!

Yelp
This was my first time at Show de Carnes in Sausalito. In comparison to the Palo Alto location, I believe this location was a bit smaller and had less options at the salad bar area. However, their staffs were kind and the meat came around fast. The meat was delicious! I wasn't a fan of their passionfruit Caipirinha HH and that's a bit surprising because it wasn't enjoyable to sip on.

Rose M.

Yelp
Amazing friendly service! Delicious food! Very enjoyable experience, so glade to found this little gem in Sausalito.

Yelp
Came here with a party of three to take my friends to their first Brazilian steakhouse experience. I've been once before to a spot on the Peninsula, so I was curious about how the two would compare. I would definitely say that this is a once-in-a-while treat, maybe once or twice a year. The food is so heavy and it is definitely an interactive experience overall. It can be a little overstimulating ordering and figuring out what you want! The servers here are definitely the best, they're on their feet all day carrying heavy hunks of meat and deftly cutting pieces with expert knifework. The bar comes with a lot of sushi rolls, nigiri, and different cuts of fruit like melon, guava, and pineapple. We received an order of pao de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) and cheesy mashed potatoes. I tried the pao de queijo and found it delightfully airy, I think it pairs with the thick texture and flavor of the meat quite well. My personal favorite cut was the filet mignon wrapped in bacon and the grilled pineapple. It comes encrusted with cinnamon sugar, which adds a nice crunch to the texture. The pineapple itself is so high quality and juicy! We asked for some salmon sashimi and got an order of that, I'd personally skip out on ordering this one again. I was excited since it seems like offering sashimi is a differentiator between Show de Carnes and other Brazilian steakhouses I've looked at, but the quality of the fish is just eh (which is somewhat understandable, given that it is not their specialty). I ended up ordering an acai bowl for dessert that was an additional $13, it was quite creamy due to incorporating more banana into the base most likely. It wasn't as sorbet-like as I would've hoped (I was looking forward for it to cut through the grease and fat of the barbecued meats), but I still enjoyed my bowl thoroughly.

Yelp
Food and service was amazing as always. Very accommodating in seating us an hour earlier than our reservations. Due to the holiday season the business was very lively.

Yelp
First time at this restaurant & it did not disappoint. I love the ambiance inside and outside of the restaurant. The uniform of every servers was aso very thought out. The food was delivious. The entire salad bar was set up nicely. They had a happy hour at the bar. The servers were very friendly & the food was delicious. You get to pick how you like your meat cooked, they also serve some seafood options which is great. Parking was also very efficient.

Yelp
Just amazing. I've been a fan of Brazilian steakhouses (Rodizio, whatever you want to call them) for decades, since I spent time in Brazil and discovered Fogo de Chao. Since then, I've tried Brazilian Steakhouses in several countries and even more US states. We've come here a FEW times now with large parties (8+) to celebrate family occasions. We have NEVER been disappointed with the variety of meats, with the salad bar, or with the sides. And the bar pours generous drinks too. The staff is incredibly attentive, you leave there feeling like family. And full. Really full. We will be back soon, as we love the pampering and the meats!

Yelp
We had the best time here... Meat-- so juicy and yummy! Want it more cooked or rare... no problem... we'll bring it right away! The grilled pineapple with a hint of cinnamon- so great ! (Doing this at home this week!) Wine by the glass-- freshly opened and lovely! And best of all- GREAT service. Such gracious staff, so generous with everyone at the table and efficiently moving around the room. Constant dance of different meats around the room. Lovely, and yes, I had one last grilled pineapple piece for dessert.

Froy I.

Yelp
The food here was absolutely amazing. Every steak was tender and perfectly seasoned, and for $80 a person, it was definitely worth it. All the servers and hosts were very nice, and I would definitely comeback again.

Dennis D.

Yelp
The meats were fantastic, extremely tender and perfectly seasoned. The charred pineapple was phenomenal. Everytime we come to a Brazilian stakehouse, we look for one thing. Cheese with honey and this place did not disappoint. Wait staff were all extremely on point and didn't miss a beat. Great staff and even better food. Alejandro was the MVP of the wait staff for sure for our table but everyone was amazing.

Angela D.

Yelp
Itwas an amazing experience, they gave great service. Food was heavenly, and the energy in the room was great. Will be here soon.

Yelp
What a fun experience. It was my first time trying Brazilian Steakhouse and I am glad I came here. They had some very tender beef and the pineapple is a must!! There are so many sides, salads, etc. So much to eat :) Service was great and highly recommend if you've never tried this place.

Yelp
Party of 12 for my Birthday. Reservation made by phone a few weeks ahead. Table was ready upon arrival. Server was ok. Food was all good but every meat was on the salty side for a lot of our taste. One cocktail was super limey and the espresso machine was down so we didn't get what we really wanted. I was happy with the experience but I doubt I'll go back due to all the salt. The restaurant is clean but very crowded.

Marco C.

Yelp
Excellent food and even better service. The meats and salads were perfect. Matheus and team were rockstars!
google avatar

Yelp
Good food. Good ambience. Great service. Maria was awesome! Very attentive and sweet.

Yelp
We love Brazilian BBQ. We frequently go to Espetus and Fogo de Chão in the city but Show de Carnes is my new favorite. The way the meat is cooked and flavored is unparalleled. The pineapple and cheese + honey are literal bites of heaven too! What also makes this place the best is the service. The hostess and gauchos were friendly and just so on point. At other places we usually have to wait a while for the meats to come out but it felt like it was non-stop and they were even so kind as to ask if there were any cuts we wanted.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! This was without a doubt, a full on EXPERIENCE. I went with my boyfriend for our anniversary & it was so incredibly special, even moreso than I anticipated. I felt like we received the royal treatment with a red carpet laid out just for us. The staff is undeniably attentive with you every need. ALL the staff....I really do wonder, did I receive special treatment or is that how everyone is treated there? Amazing! The food. Ok so it's a Brazilian steak house. Basically it's alot of types of good meat straight off the grill. I am not much of a meat eater but my boyfriend is. He tried & loved it all. He said his favorite was the rib eye. Now they come & cut it off right at your table. It's pretty awesome. I did end up as I thought, at the salad bar, which has a variety of options along with sushi. I will say I did end up trying a couple of types of the meat with my favorite being the spicy beef. We were served fried plantains, mashed potatoes with all the mix-ins & cheese bread as well. There were 3 sauces that were also brought to us to use if we like, I loved this one in the picture with all the color. ALOT of garlic. The presentation of the place us absolutely beautiful. I love all the crystal & the lighting. I just can't get over the entire EXPERIENCE. It by far exceeded my expectations & I will definitely be returning for future special events.

Yelp
If you're looking to go into a meat coma, this is the spot. I've been to a number of Brazilian steakhouses, and this one absolutely holds its own--it did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in, the ambience sets the tone. It's elegant, warm, and you can just tell you're in for an experience. We rolled in 20 deep--no reservations--for lunch, and the staff handled it like pros. Quick, friendly, and super accommodating. For several of our friends, it was their first time at an all-you-can-eat Brazilian steakhouse, and let's just say--it made fans for life. The salad bar was loaded with the classics (and easy to get lost in), but don't fall for the trap! The real magic starts when the swords of meat begin making their rounds. Every cut--from beef to pork to chicken to lamb--was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. And yes, even the more adventurous bites like chicken hearts and the legendary grilled pineapple were total crowd-pleasers. This place is a full-on feast, and if you're in Sausalito with an empty stomach and a big appetite, do not miss out. Great food, great service, and that nonstop meat service we all know and love.
google avatar

Bill P.

Yelp
Ambiance very nice, service very good and the salad bar outstanding.... But $45.00 for the salad bar is way over priced. Typically I go to fogo de chao whenever there is one near me and their salad bar / market bar is pretty much the same as this place but the price is almost half this place and @ lunch you can add picanha and still be well under $45 Could be the reason so few customers at lunch today, like I said home run on atmosphere, service and food quality but highway robbery prices.
google avatar

Van T.

Yelp
We absolutely love this place! The meat was so good, the bar selection was solid, and the service made everything better. Definitely coming back with family and friends!

Yelp
Went here on Black Saturday- reservations is a must. Good thing that we were seated right away before it gets crowded. Love that they have a lot of variety from meats to their sides. Service is quick and they give out big portions! Too bad u gotta pay extra on their wagyu meat
google avatar

Wendy F.

Yelp
Amazing food! The salad bar has a huge selection of fresh vegetables, sushi, salmon nigiri, and much more. The meats are fresh and cooked to perfection and would always make their rounds serval times to our table. Service was amazing, my water was always refilled and always made sure we were satisfied. Inside is dimmed nicely and has a romantic feel to the whole room. Would definitely recommend coming and would come back again.

Abdul s.

Yelp
I would rate this restaurant a 10/10 ! The food was not only amazing, but they also make sure that you are always taken care of. I would recommend coming here anytime, but especially for special occasions. The environment is also very welcoming.
google avatar

Sam Y.

Yelp
The host was friendly and welcoming, I think their name was Felipe? All the staff carrying the hot food around were quick and courteous. Customer service was top notch. Food was a little underwhelming at the salad bar but I was there primarily for the meat. The meat was tasty, seasoned well and didn't need any salt or pepper at all. Came hungry and left satisfied. I'll be back!
google avatar

Jeneal V.

Yelp
As soon as we sat down, I felt as though I were on a cruise ship where they keep trying to sell you something like shots and bottled water, wagyu, etc. It was awkward. Also, I realize this is a Brazilian steakhouse but they advertise the all you can eat sushi bar. The sushi was grocery store quality with mushy rice. Ambiance was nice but I don't plan to come back.
google avatar

ChampaigneMami C.

Yelp
We went for my Birthday, first time coming here. We drove about 2 and Half hours to get here FOOD was very great! All the meats were delicious and flavorful. I would come back for the food, hats off to the chefs! Amazing work. All the meats were juicy with a lot of flavor!!! AMBIANCE noisy, crowded, tables are kind of close together. I didn't like it so much, but were there for the meats not the tables SERVICE I've had friendlier service at chillis, everyone was definitely very respectful, but we didn't feel amazing service for the price. Sadly Not coming back. But I do recommend for the one time all meats experience
google avatar

Tiffany T.

Yelp
Delicious meats and full salad bar with side dishes to change up the palate to your liking. Even on a Saturday lunch hour, the service was super fast: both servers of the cuts and other waitstaff. Within 1 minute of flipping our card to "green", we had 4-5 different cuts of meat on our plate. It was overwhelming but in a good way because we were so hungry. I wasn't sure if they took walk-ins so I made a reservation a few days prior just in case. But they seemed to have plenty of seating (only half the restaurant was used). I will say the sushi selection was a bit of a let down. I thought they'd have a nicer variety but most of the rolls had cream cheese which I am not a fan of. The other cheese and salad selections are great though. They even had a soup. Walking in, it was a little dark at first but then they turned on some soft overhead lighting that helped. You also have a little lamp at your table they turn on when they seat you to look at the menu or just adds to the ambiance. Pineapple and grilled cheese was our absolute favorite! Weird since it's a Brazilian steakhouse but seriously SO good! Some meats tend to be very salty if you get the first cut on the outside so maybe wait for a an inner cut or ask them. You can also ask a waitstaff to bring you something specific if they don't walk by already. Very nice feature.
google avatar

Yelp
Food is good I'll give it an 8, service was excellent, its clean and nice, and the location is very easy to get there with easy parking.
google avatar

Eileen C.

Yelp
Fogo who?? Show de Carnes has superb meat quality and flavor, and they ensure every piece of meat or pineapple you get is fresh off the grill! The different meats came around frequently. The top sirloin, shrimp, and lamb were the only cuts of meat that we had to wait many rounds for (they somehow kept skipping or missing us). But I'm sure if we asked someone they would take note and bring us some. Don't miss out on the grilled pineapple and baked cheese with honey! They're really great for breaking up the meat cadence. The salad bar was pretty standard, with a few additions like fresh sushi and fancier fruit like papaya. If you're around Mill Valley or Sausalito, it's definitely worth a visit!
google avatar

Chloe L.

Yelp
First time going and loved it! Our servers were so nice and the never ending meat was amazing! My favorites were definitely the grilled cheese with honey, grilled pineapple, and ribeye! Their sirloin, filet mignon and pichan were also delicious. I got full pretty quickly from the meat so I didn't manage to get to the salad bar, but they had a large selection of salad, sushi, cheese, and soups. Their cheese bread puff is also a must have. I definitely look forward to going again but have to have a game plan to eat as much as I can.
google avatar

Laci I.

Yelp
Went to this location because needed out of the South Bay. The weather in Sausalito was so nice. The waitress/waitresses are so attentive which was pleasant. My advice though don't place a table where your waiters tend to hang out. I didn't like that I knew someone was standing behind me practically my whole meal. Food options were good but have had better at other Brazilian Steakhouses and for less $$. Surprised that there was no cooked salmon or million dollar bacon #Iykyk. The salad bar had lots of goodies. I know from IG they showcased sushi here. Not that I was expecting much from the sushi options but definitely don't try it here. Sushi was fishy. Also didn't like the location of the bathrooms. I feel that bathrooms should be more hidden from regular eating area or at least separated by a wall.. This was kinda right there in the open area.

Yelp
I've been to espetus, fogo de Chao, and Texas de Brazil and Show de Carnes is my favorite! Service is excellent! The meats were so flavorful and tasty. My favorites were the rib eye and the picana (regular). The buffet bar had a lot of choices as well. We didn't even get to take pictures of the food because we were too busy enjoying our food lol. We loved the grilled cheese and the grilled pineapple too! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Came here for Father's day. The restaurant looks really big from the outside. On the inside it's one big dining room. It's dark inside and each table has a little lamp. theres a big chandelier over the the salad bar. It reminded me of a casino. we had a reservation and were quickly seated. Once seated, someone from the bar came and asked my family if we wanted tequila shots. We declined. I thought that was little odd and came on a little too strong. The salad bar had some unique options compared to other brazilian places. They had sushi, shrimp that was in some kind of mayo sauce, calamari rings, ceviche, mussels, leek salad, papaya, and mango salad. I did enjoy the papaya and mango which were really sweet and ripe. the shrimp was good too. The calamari rings were cold and fresh, and went well with salad. I didn't try the ceviche or the mussels. The sushi was ok. It wasn't terrible, but it's not for someone who is a sushi snob. It's kind of like sushi from a grocery store. I wasn't expecting it to be amazing because it's a Brazilian place, not Japanese. The best meats were the garlic steak and beef rib. I was a little disappointed that I asked for beef rib like three times but it didn't come until the end when I was already almost full. They had chicken hearts which was unique. it was seasoned well with a perfect amount of salt but I just don't think the texture was my thing. The service was ok. It was really hard to get the attention of our server, but to be fair it was Father's day so the place was packed.

Yelp
Tried Premium Rodízio for a big group. It was unorganized and chaos. Servers are not asking the whole group if we want the meat and the red and green card rule doesn't apply. Missed couple of meat selection either by they didn't ask or didn't hear me asking for it. Also, we were excited about seafood, but came too late and no salmon. Seafood means only grilled shrimp which is not special. Salad bar area wasn't organized either. It was hard to open the lids for hot food as it was close to the glass. Sushi were all gone and not getting refilled right away..so there you go.. seafood choice is really limited. Felt like we should've just tried Classic Rodízio instead.. not worth it.. Guess I expected too much for our special moment.. it was OK to try, but I don't think I will try again as there are other better options.

Yelp
Show de Carnes absolutely delivered on every level. From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch--friendly, attentive, and never overbearing. The atmosphere was cozy yet upscale, perfect for a night out. The menu featured a wide variety of meats, and everything we tried was cooked to perfection. The cuts were tender, flavorful, and clearly high quality. But the standout of the night was the Wagyu steak (cost extra). It was rich, buttery, and incredibly tender--truly one of the best steaks I've ever had. Melt-in-your-mouth good. If you're a meat lover looking for a satisfying and elevated dining experience, this Show de Carnes is definitely worth a visit. Excellent food, impeccable service, and a Wagyu steak you won't forget.

Yelp
Of the Brazilian bbq places I've tried on the peninsula and South Bay, this one was unfortunately least favorite. Meats were drier and more well done. Salad bar had less choices but were fresh and sushi items which were a big draw for me were not that good. Not worth the carbs... On the plus side, service was fantastic and attentive. I will give them another try in the future as It may have just been an off night...

Yelp
Came here yesterday to take my dad out for Father's Day. My dad was craving Brazilian steakhouse and we also heard that they had sushi, which none of the other Brazilian steakhouses we've been to had. The sushi itself was okay, it wasn't bad but it also doesn't blow you out of the water. If you're a sushi enthusiast/connoisseur don't set your expectations high. It's primarily steak so it's to be expected that the meats are the main stars. In particular, the beef rib and the garlic tip sirloin were the best ones. I personally also liked the texture of the chicken hearts. In regard to the service, it was alright. I had the feeling that the servers were in a hurry most of the time, but it also was packed on Father's Day so I'm not really shocked. The restaurant itself is very dark, on the outside the restaurant looks bright but when you go inside, the lighting is dark and dimmed. It gave off a "dinner" vibe even though it was only lunch time. All in all, this is a decent Brazilian Steakhouse spot.

Yelp

Yelp
I made a reservation since it was recommended by fellow yelpers and we were the first ones there. $71.95 per person on the weekends for AYCE brazilian bbq + sushi + buffet bar The Service 6/10 The experience I had with the host and wait staff was hit or miss throughout our visit there. I won't bore you with my rant so I will keep it short. The host- we are perfectly fine waiting by ourselves for the service to start. No need to talk to us for 5 minutes and rattling off every Chinese phrase that you know. We didn't ask for this. The meat servers- only 1 came to check on us after the first round while the others only served the other side of the restaurant and avoided our side of the restaurant. The waiters only wanted to know if we want anything off the ayce menu. The Food 7/10 Buffet Bar - They have a wide selection of cold foods except a few hot items like rice, beans and chicken curry. The sushi section that was advertised limited to salmon sashimi (decent) to some basic rolls like philadelphia roll, alaska roll and a couple with imitation crab and pickled daikon. Table foods - the bottomless pao de queijo (Brazilian cheesy bread) were awesome, perfectly cheesy with a soft shell. We also received two sets of mashed potatoes and fried banana (overdone). The meats - leaning salty for most meats and some overdone. You know it isn't a good sign if the honey mozzarella cheese was my favorite item.
