"This multiplex is another chain with more comfortable chairs. Unlike at the other theaters on this list, movie-goers at the Showcase SuperLux at the Street Chestnut Hill can order food from a full-service menu, which includes dishes like fried shrimp and steak frites. Wash it all down with a movie-inspired cocktail, like the 007, which is a take on the martinis James Bond enjoys. Shaken, not stirred, of course." - Terrence Doyle

The food was awful. My burger was burnt to a crisp twice. I actually tasted ash. When I spoke with the manager, he explained that the sliders come well done. I told him that well-done was fine but these were burnt to a crisp. He reluctantly had another batch made which were still burnt and dry. We paid well over a hundred dollars for really pitiful food. They need to do better. The theater is lovely but the food is just not.

I went for Father’s Day. Horrible experience. We got an Uber so I could grab a couple drink s during the movie. They cut order off with no warning but charged the card anyway. We went to complain and the guy was a condescending jerk, we ended up just blocking the charges on our side. I won’t go back to get treated like that again.

The movie theater is spectacular: very clean, nice people. I used my student discount and I paid like 9$ for the luxury seat. Popcorn and coke (medium size) were 17$...so...a steal. The bathrooms are clean as well. I recommend it.

What an experience, the ticket is $17 each but worth all the value spent!

This place is great. Super comfortable seats, different pricing tiers available for more cost conscious movie-goers, ample space, and convenient snacks. Clearly one of the best movie theaters in the metro area

We had a meal and saw Dune 2. The meals were OK. My wife had the guacamole dish that had little guac, and what was there tasted like it came out of a jar. As to the movie, the volume was so loud that we both had to frequently cover our ears. It was painful at times.

Nice theater, has bar, large movie theater, restaurant, food delivery at your seat. Very clean.

I’m shocked that me and my boyfriend couldn’t even watch American Fiction (a movie which plot is centered on race relations) in peace without being harassed by the staff. My boyfriend went outside to take a phone call when a white young woman employee chased him down accusing him of not having a ticket. Even upon showing the ticket to her she called for the manager. The manager arrived and proceeded to apologize to my boyfriend. In the midst of the apology the young white woman begun crying and asking the manager: “What about me?” I guess it’s dangerous to be black in this movie theater. Hire better staff! Needless to say I will never step foot at this establishment again and I recommend that no other black person as well!
