Where to Stop and Eat on the Drive From D.C. to Pittsburgh

"If D.C. traffic has made getting out of the city feel impossible, drivers may be forced to seek sustenance in nearby Frederick. For years this restaurant space, slightly outside of downtown Frederick with its own parking lot, housed Bryan Voltaggio’s stylish diner, Family Meal. In the latest iteration, the kitchen is cooking up comfort food dishes like a ribeye cheesesteak and meatloaf. Fried chicken and pot pie fritters, draws of the original Family Meal, remain on the menu. Takeout available." - Missy Frederick

They serve classic American food with plenty of options. My friend thinks it’s a fancy restaurant in the area, but I found it comfortably casual. The atmosphere is relaxed and approachable.

We had an amazing experience at Showroom! It was our first time visiting, and we went for dinner to celebrate a birthday. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Our server, Tori, was phenomenal—she was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, making our night even more special. The food was delicious, with generous portion sizes. I highly recommend the steak frites and the short rib—both were outstanding! The drinks were also great, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for a celebration. We’ll definitely be back!

We went there for breakfast on a week day. Really good food, great service and atmosphere. The French toasts are unique in flavor and texture, the lattes were well done with a fragrant and fresh ground coffee beans, and the potatoes were delicious. Definitely recommend and a mental health day breakfast!

Google
I really enjoyed my French omelette and the chicken pot pie fritters was delicious! Whoever thought to make chicken pot pie into fritters is a genius. I also liked that they had different versions of the French omelette, I got mine with goat cheese and caramelized onions. The potatoes are also really good. I’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Service is good and ambiance is also good.

This place is definitely what I would consider a must try restaurant in Frederick! They have an incredible brunch menu, featuring Mimosas, Bloody Marys, and all kinds of other fun drinks. They also have a great mixture of breakfast and lunch options. The atmosphere is inviting and gives off reimagined diner vibes. Great experience and we were able to be seated and served quickly even though they were busy on a Saturday morning! They also have a decent beer menu as well for lunchtime

24JULY2025 A lovely experience here with our waitress(2:50pm)and our food was prepared very well and was good. Spacious, clean, and semi busy spot. It was a former car dealership building and the decor looks nice.

My Dad and I went to brunch at Showroom on a Sunday. We loved everything about it! We had mimosa pitchers (not pictured) and onion rings to start. Get those if only for the bacon horseradish sauce! We got extra of that to go (; My Dad had an omelette and I had the steak and eggs. We had coffee as we learned this was a former Buick dealership from the charming manager. That explains the name and the large windows. What a great way to repurpose the space! Absolutely make a reservation.

Google
The place is nice and amazing. Plenty of options to choose from, this is one restaurant that I would recommend for vegan or gluten free. Lots of options. They also sell wine and beer. Staff are very kind. My favorite was the hazelnut latte very good. All items looked to be made fresh 😀! It is on the more expensive side but definitely worth every dime.

Yelp
Best breakfast in Frederick. We have eaten here for lunch and dinner but typically eat breakfast here. It's kinda perfect each time. The staff is always friendly, the menu is varied and gives you lots of choices and the food is prepared right. Personally I love the bright atmosphere and easy parking plus ability to make breakfast reservations. It's just solid for breakfast and the few times I've tried lunch it's been good as well. Enjoy!

Yelp
I have had many outstanding meals at Showroom. I have really enjoyed the food and the service is really very attentive and professional. I think I had the fried half-chicken 4 times in a row because it is really the best anywhere near here! The Old Fashioned they make is pretty darn good, and they have some great values for wine as well. I've had the Fish and Chips which was very good, and I have made my way through the salads and several other appetizers -- the biscuits and deviled eggs are great! Every one of my experiences has been great, except for one dish: The Mushroom Risotto. ...This was a failure in my opinion because despite being tasty, it was undercooked with far too much "tooth" and it was remarkably dry as well. Now, given the number of meals I had that were excellent -- this was an aberration and I mention it here because I'd really like to try it again someday... And yet: Great restaurant, great service, extremely professional and well run. I will be back, probably for that darn great chicken...;-)

Yelp
Food: chicken pot pie fritters were ok, a bit too greasy for my taste. Roasted vegetable salad with chicken was delicious, and star of the meal was the carrot cake. Service: friendly, attentive, fast! Our server suggested we split the salad on two plates, which was so nice, and he recommended the carrot cake which was the best! Ambiance: cute spot, with big windows

Yelp
An outstanding meal. We went for Brunch, which is served until 4 and sat where we watched the very efficient kitchen make food. We got the items in the attached pictures and everything was delicious and contained a complex well balanced flavor profile. Prices were fair and other than some small waits for refills it was a great experience. We will return.

Yelp
First off, our waitress was top tier. I wanted to try something new this time around and went with the Chef's breakfast. The potatoes are always amazing and highly recommend. I will say the eggs were pretty bland with no seasonings. Felt like I was eating nothing. The bacon was pretty good.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. They are very kid friendly which is important in my life now. Service is attentive. Nice ambience with floor to ceiling windows. Fries are soft inside and crisp on the outside and come with three sauces. Onion rings are massive, the size of donuts. Pot pie fritters are so creamy inside. The french omelet with goat cheese and caramelized onions is very tasty. Not a spot of brown on the omelet which is hard to find and wonderful. I wish I lived closer, but this will always be my go to spot when I'm in Frederick.

Yelp
On a rainy weekday afternoon, showroom was a nice respite from the adverse weather conditions. The restaurant was about half full this service was solid and the food tasty. Just a little bit less food and a little bit too pricey for five stars. I'd be interested in coming back for dinner or happy hour.

James S.

Yelp
They delivered the brunch we wanted. Needed a spot for a party of 10 on short notice. Was a little worried because I couldn't find their brunch/breakfast menu on the website or Yelp. But they confirmed via phone that they have Sunday brunch Superb service. Waitress was super attentive. Got our drinks and food quickly. amazing food. From waffles to the breakfast burger to the garden omelette and avocado toast, all had generous portions and tasted great. Everything we ordered was correct and tasted exactly like what we wanted. An affordable price. didn't feel like we were getting robbed. We'll definitely be back for dinner and beer

Yelp
My husband and I decided to try this place after church, so we arrived around 12 PM and it was super busy. We waited 30 minutes for a table, but no surprise that it's busy on the weekend. He ordered the breakfast with a side of pancakes, and I ordered the spinach omelette. We also had the pot pie fritters that was really delicious and we highly recommend! Due to the busyness of the Sunday, we had to constantly wave down our server as we had to wait almost 10 minutes for water and to place our order, and waited 15 minutes to waiver down for our check. Probably try on a day it's not so busy. But food was great!!!

Yelp
Such a quaint location with indoor and outdoor seating! The outdoor seating does have fans and they do come frequently to check on your water since some days recently have a been pretty hot. The waiter was a gem and very on top of checking our table. We ordered the pitcher of white peach sangria not pictured because we enjoyed it a bit too much. The main entrees were beautiful and smelled amazing. My only comment is the breading on the fish either was a bit overcooked or a bit dry on my end because the fish was delicious. The dessert that we didn't know we wanted was IMPECCABLE. I am not a fan of carrot cake but this one makes me reconsider that. 10/10!

Yelp
We were in the area for a wedding and popped by for brunch. We were seated immediately and another staff member treated us and got our drink orders while our original server was with another table. All the staff was fantastic and kind and we enjoyed our meal. The space it self was accessible with comfortable seating and booths with tables that you can move a little to accommodate various size guests. We definitely will be back when we are in town again

Yelp
After eating at Chef Bryan's Thacher & Rye a few years ago, it's hard to believe this restaurant has his name behind it. We came here on a date night and ordered the chicken pot pie fritters, Maryland pit beef, and a double stack burger. Several issues: - The pot pie fritters were fine in concept, more or less a croqueta. Biggest complaint was the inside hadn't fully cooked through and we got a couple pieces that were still cold. - Waitress didn't ask for temperature of the meat for the burger. It was served with overcooked patties but cheese that wasn't melted. - The Maryland pit beef was more like cheesesteak on a bun, without the cheese. I need to see my way to Chaps asap for redemption after eating this. Also much greasier than it needed to be, it was that bad. - Entrees came out literally 90 seconds after the appetizer. From sitting down to bill paid and standing up from our table was a total of about 40 minutes. Felt like a very rushed meal. Only positives were the fries were perfect and our tab, which included two cocktails, were under $100. I suppose this could be an okay place to go for brunch or a family meal but we chose a rare date night, which made it all the more disappointing for my wife and I.

Yelp
A solid choice in Frederick. We have been here a handful of times and have yet to be disappointed. I think because of their limited menu, however, it appears they may have added a little more variety and options! This is a decently sized restaurant that also offers outdoor seating. For our most recent experience, we chose to sit inside and made a reservation ahead of time since it was Friday night, although it may not have been needed in this instance. It is well lit by natural light and the seating is comfortable, although a LITTLE tight. As a family of 4, we ordered the Steak Frites, Short Ribs, Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and the kids Pancakes with sausage. - Steak Frites: ordered medium rare and that is exactly what we got. The steak was perfectly seasoned and the fries were nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The spicy aioli was a perfect compliment. - Short Ribs: these were SO tender! The short ribs are served atop mashed potatoes and almost gives roast beef vibes. The collard greens are cooked so well it would almost be comparable to soul food. - Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich: my son described this as the perfect spice! He's not a fan of too much spice, but he said it was enjoyable. His sandwich came with potato chips instead of fries, so he ended up trading my husband's fries for his chips. Overall, he enjoyed his meal. No crumbs left! - Kids Pancakes: my daughter rated these an 8/10. She enjoyed them! She did say her sausage tasted like blueberry (which she hates). I tried it and I think it may have been sage. Tasted fine to me! I did get a crush flight which left me feeling good! Not too strong, but just right. Would be perfect for brunch or anytime, really. Our server was very attentive throughout, very friendly and easy. We have yet to have a bad experience with staff here. Since their menu appears to have more options now, we may come back more often!

Yelp
Showroom in Frederick combines a chic Mid-century modern vibe with a professional atmosphere. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich impresses with its deep, flavorful heat and tender, juicy chicken. The home fried potatoes are perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy inside--a great pairing for a quality meal.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped in Saturday for a very early dinner. From start to finish the meal was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. The restaurant was very clean and well kept and we thoroughly enjoy everything about the overall experience. We highly recommend for anyone driving through Frederick MD.

Yelp
Food - 8/10 Mid-Atlantic cuisine at its near-best, with excellent appetizers (not pictured), especially the chicken pot pie fritters. The fish and chips had generous portions of steamy white fish, and the fries were super crispy and crunchy long after the fish was gone. My sister ordered the pastrami hash, and while we were both excited, it was a little of a letdown, with the meat a little too greasy and the potatoes a little too soggy. However, it's flavor was excellent, and the bite of breakfast sandwich I had from another family member almost made me wish I ordered that dish too. Service - 9.5/10 Our server was delightful and answered all of our requests with a smile and quick turnaround time. He was incredibly knowledgeable with the dishes, re: what was homemade/could be shared/his personal favorites, and he made us feel welcome and cared for. Atmosphere - 8/10 The interior of the restaurant is fantastic; with an open and fun vibe, it seems like the perfect place for a meal with friends and family, especially with its lineup of drinks. Unfortunately, as there were eight of us, we were seated in the outdoor area, which, by comparison, was dark and offered a view of the parking lot. Despite this, we still had a great time. Overall - A nice place with even nicer Mid-Atlantic cuisine!

Yelp
I love the food at this place. It's a fun twist on American classics. I love the drinks at this place. Hand crafted with homemade ingredients. I love the vibe and decor. Funky and a bit whimsical, with just the right amount of polished stainless steel to make it shine. This is a go-to place when people come in from out of town for business lunches. The fries? Oh, man. It's a bit expensive for a weekly lunch - at least for me. But it's a nice place to treat yourself, your friends, and your business associates to a nice lunch!

Yelp
Brunch was amazing! Possibly the best huevos rancheros I've had outside of Texas. The refried beans were ridiculously delicious w the delicate corn tortilla & eggs. Even though I was full half way thru I still ate the whole thing! As I stuffed my face I watched all the amazing sandwiches & waffles come out of the kitchen - the steak & cheese is next for me! Our server Sage was beyond pleasant & adorable - make sure to sit in her section if you can!

Yelp
We had the pleasure of dining at this lovely restaurant while in Frederick a few weeks ago... the service was superb, the food was super flavorful and fresh the atmosphere was contemporary and the restaurant is nicely laid out. Thank you to the Showroom team for a great dining experience!
google avatar

Kerri B.

Yelp
We had a reservation, so we were seated immediately. We had biscuits and gravy and the caramelized onion and goat cheese French omelette. Both were outstanding. The home fries were delicious and very crispy.

Charline M.

Yelp
What a delicious set of dishes we had. The salmon I had on my salad is the best piece of salmon I have ever had - seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. They have a BFD (breakfast for dinner) section on the menu which my little grandkids loved since they were able to have pancakes and bacon. Great place to go as a family - I highly recommend!!
google avatar

Jeanne P.

Yelp
Service was great - very attentive and friendly staff!! The food was absolutely delicious-best French fries I have ever had and brunch menu was great! The noise level is a little high which makes for less than perfect ambience but that may be because there's so many customers-a good problem!
google avatar

Michelle G.

Yelp
We love this restaurant. Always great service and cool setting. Our latest visit was for lunch on a dreary day. My cappuccino warmed my heart! Chicken and waffles was a comforting meal. My husband and I shared a wedge salad which was delicious. His pit beef sandwich was tasty but a little tough.
google avatar

Monique P.

Yelp
We decided to have Sunday brunch here and we made a reservation, which I'm happy we did because it was very busy. I ordered the goat cheese and caramelized onion omelette and my husband ordered the pastrami sandwich. Nothing disappointed. The food was delicious, seasoned well and fresh. We definitely want to come back again to try some of the dinner options.

April T.

Yelp
Friendly greeting, clean and spacious. Had the Crush Flight would definitely recommend, went her a few times definitely worth the trip. Had the pancakes with blueberry compote and potatoes the first trip then the brioche French toast and deviled eggs the second trip!! Omg I love this place!! Pumpkin oatmilk latte was my fave!
google avatar

Crystal S.

Yelp
The service was great. The staff are very friendly. The food was amazing, and the pot pie balls are delicious. It's like you're eating a chicken pot pie in one bite, lol. The biscuits and sausage gravy were great. The gravy over the biscuits was great.
google avatar

Leah S.

Yelp
Each time the service is decent, the food is usually good, and the atmosphere is interesting. My only complaint is sometimes the heat along the window seating is a bit much but if you sit at the bar it's much cooler, problem solved. Update: I typed this review while finishing my meal. Updated to 2 stars after I went to the bathroom and noticed an employee not wash their hands. There's no excuse and I am not planning to return.
google avatar

Alexis R.

Yelp
Great brunch and cocktails that we found on our way home from vacation. We would definitely come back here again. Top notch service from Dylan. Loved the look of this place too. We sat on the patio and even though it was warm outside, the fans going kept it pretty manageable.
google avatar

Raven T.

Yelp
Started a snowy Saturday morning in March, with brunch here. We ordered the biscuits for the table. They were savory, cheddar and chive, but served with a delicious fruit jam; perfection! The rosé I ordered was delightful. For my entrée I chose a chicken sandwich. I think it's called the chicken and the egg. It came with a corn meal and flour coated fried chicken thigh, fried egg, and cheese. The chicken wasn't well coated and ended up being dry; you can see the uneven cook on the side where the coating fell off. Cornmeal is also an odd choice for coating fried chicken. I've never had it and I think there's a reason. The potatoes that accompanied my sandwich were stellar! Perfectly crisp on the outside, soft inside, coated in herbs and expertly seasoned. I could have eaten an entire plate of those potatoes! Overall decent first impression and I'd come back to try some other items.
google avatar

Kevin S.

Yelp
An absolutely amazing experience. Was very surprised with the quality of the restaurant. The menu is simple, but delicious. Absolutely loved the burger and french fries. Also, the fish and chips were delicious. My wife said her salad and pulled beef was made perfectly as well.. The showroom beer had great flavor in the service was great!
google avatar

Maryann C.

Yelp
My friends and I stopped here for brunch on the way to Harpers ferry, after I looked it up on Yelp. We really liked the atmosphere and that they had outdoor covered seating (it even had heaters and fans). Our service was great and everyone was very friendly. The menu is full of some classic brunch options, so even our table of picky eaters could find something they liked. We ordered onion rings and the pancakes for the table as appetizers. No complaints on the onion rings, and the pancakes are probably the best thing that we ordered, so two thumbs up for that! As far as our entrees, two of us ordered the breakfast sandwich, someone ordered the omelette, and two of us ordered the steak and eggs. Overall, I would give the food a solid 3. The home fries are unique and different from what you would typically expect, but in our opinion, a little bit too thick and dense although we really liked the batter. The breakfast sandwiches were good and a filling option (would love if a tomato was part of the toppings)! No real complaints about the omelette, but it was also definitely a filling dish! The steak and eggs seemed overpriced considering the amount of steak you get, but otherwise they were cooked to the right temperatures. Cute place with friendly staff!

Yelp
We've been visiting Frederick for weekend getaways for several years and have always included meals at Showroom and its earlier in incarnation Family Meal to our itinerary. Yesterday we went there for brunch, arriving after 10:00 a.m., obviously after the breakfast rush, as the restaurant was pretty empty. Although there were several staff members behind the counter, after the host seated us. no one came to our table to greet us or offer us water and/or coffee. After waiting over 10 minutes, we flagged the host to ask for service. Finally, a server, Sasha, came over to take our orders, not apologizing until we registered our annoyance. A few minutes later he returned to ask how we liked our meals. Unfortunately, that was the last we saw of him. We had to flag other servers and bus persons for refills of water and coffee and later, after waiting for quite a long time, to get our check. As I said, the restaurant was very empty with just a few other customers inside but there were several servers and bus persons standing around chatting and laughing among themselves but completely ignoring us. I'm not sure Bryan Voltaggio still owns the restaurant, perhaps it's under new ownership and/or management. What I'm sure of is that the quality of its service has changed dramatically for the worse and that we won't be going back. Update: The restaurant IS under new ownership. That explains it...

David R.

Yelp
Our party of three ate at Showroom for breakfast at 10:15 on a Monday morning, when the restaurant did not appear to be busy. We had a reservation, and were shown to our table right away. This review is lackluster because of the mainly indifferent service we experienced. We were seated for at least 10 minutes -- again, when the restaurant did not appear to be particularly busy -- before any staff member approached our table. We had to flag someone down to request water. We had to flag someone down to request coffee. Once our server came and took our orders, the service was more correct for a short time: he came back twice to refill our coffees and asked how the food was. We did not see him again after that. We had to flag someone down to ask for more water. We had to flag someone down to take our credit card. Someone other than our server brought the bill even though our server appeared to be in conversation with other staff members. If this was an establishment where we could ask any staff member for anything -- which hasn't been our previous experience at Showroom -- that wasn't explained to us. The food, when it came, was up to Showroom's usual very good standards. We visit Frederick several times a year and Showroom has always been a go-to breakfast/brunch option for us. I'm sorry to say that after this experience we'll be taking it off the rotation.

Yelp
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Kid-friendly, not in downtown so easy to drive to and big parking lot outside. Yummy brunch items - we got bagel and lox, huevos rancheros, and pastrami hash. Hash could have used more pastrami but otherwise everything was good. Looks like it would accommodate large groups well too. Noise level was also nice.

Yelp
Overall a fantastic restaurant. The $$ is accurate price wise. The portions are on the smaller side and there was no hope for any leftovers, but the quality is amazing so you can't really be too upset. We did get a set of dishes that had a very little bit of dried food on it, and I mean very, very little, easily scrapped off with a fingernail. This is something I've noticed in other restaurants and assume it comes from using industrial dishwashers that wash quickly with high-pressure water. So it's not that the dishes are dirty, per se, but that the dishes can have leftover sanitized residue on it. What we got: Chicken Pot Pie Fritters - 4* my partner liked the fritters more than I did (he gives them 5*, I give them 3*). I felt the flavor was lacking a bit for the outside crust but I'm not sure what one could do to add flavor without messing with the flavor of the dipping sauce. But the pot pie filling was fantastic and the sauce! Oh that sauce. I saved the remaining sauce for my sandwich. Nashville Chicken Sandwich - 5*. I forgot until halfway through the sandwich that I had saved the dipping sauce from our appetizer to use here. I didn't even need it! (But I did try it still, haha) The chicken was amazingly tender and the cheese was fantastic. Biscuits and Gravy - 5*. The biscuits were soft and perfect, not too crunchy or doughy. The gravy was on the lighter side and didn't overpower the meal, a common occurrence with this dish. It was creamy, delectable, and hit the spot. The over easy eggs on top added a nice richness to the overall dish.

Yelp
Best Huevos Rancheros I've ever had in the states! I've traveled extensively in Mexico, spent lots of time in Austin. The Showroom nails it with their Huevos! They come with a gorgeous flavorful crema and a red sauce, and a generous amount of perfectly ripe sliced avocado. The corn tortillas were crisp. Eggs cooked exactly how I asked. The coffee was good. We got a side of potatoes as a sub for the chorizo, and they were crispy and hot and delicious. Our server was so sweet and attentive! I'm just traveling through this city, if I return I'll come back for more.

Toni B.

Yelp
Showroom ticks all the boxes - food was fantastic, service was too! We will be back here over and over again! I don't usually order carrot cake for dessert but it sounded too good to pass up - it was amazing!

Yelp
Restaurant was empty at 2 in the afternoon - me, three women having lunch, and a couple with young kids. I waited ten minutes hoping someone would take my order. The host had to point me out to the server twice. Last I checked, I wasn't invisible. Drinks were good (irish coffee in a mug; hot chocolate). Biscuits were a little chewy and came swimming in cream gravy that had very little sausage. A disappointment all around. At least they welcomed my service dog.
google avatar

Amelia C.

Yelp
This place is busy on the weekends for brunch. Make a reservation online. Enjoyed the deviled eggs a lot! It reminded of the Big Mac sauce flavor. They do not skimp out on the filling. The sausage patty and bacon strips tasted exactly how I expected it to taste. The sausage was on the greasy side. I also had duck fat home fries. It came out piping hot which was a plus. My friends got biscuit and sausage gravy. The egg on it was runny and they said it was perfect. I tried a bite of it and I though the biscuit was a bit too dense for my liking.

Yelp
I had family in town for a special event and was thinking about a couple places to take them for brunch. I'm very glad I decided on Showroom, I've been here a bunch of times, and it was one of the first restaurants I went to in town. There were a few times in the pandemic I doubted this place, steamed/cold takeout, who's fault was that? This place cares, we are lucky to have it in Frederick, the deviled eggs and biscuits were cared for. And this may not happen again, but I will say, the last restaurant I ate at, a couple days earlier, was Le Bernardin, an amazing place. Thank you Showroom for feeding us.

Yelp
I'd visited this restaurant several times in its last iteration as Family Meal. Fortunately, the good service and delicious food has not changed one bit after the name change. I was very impressed with my brunch selection, Chicken & the Egg. The chicken was moist and seasoned perfectly, the scrambled egg was light and fluffy, the spicy aioli offered just the right amount of kick and the home fries were cooked to perfection. In general, the wait staff is always attentive, but I also appreciated how attentive the managerial staff was as well. Everyone worked to ensure the diners were happy. I think the waiter handling my table could have checked in a little more, but he was fine overall. Keep in mind that this space is pretty open, so sounds tend to bounce off of the walls quite easily. It can get a little loud, but the noise fades into the background. I had no issue conversing with my dining partner. If you're looking for casual dining experience with incredible food in Frederick, MD, Showroom is the place for you!

Yelp
The food here was delish. We had the biscuits and deviled eggs to start. For our meals we had the huevos rancheros, Rueben, and the breakfast sandwich. Also had a side of duck fat fries. Do not pass up an opportunity for those fries!!! The Rueben was good, though not enough kraut for my personal liking (but perfect for my husband). The ambiance is welcoming and service was solid. We will definitely be going again.

Ann B.

Yelp
The Cheeseburger was satisfying in all ways. The Carrot cake truly outstanding with creamy white whipped icing." Sarah was an outstanding server.

Phoenicia S.

Yelp
Service was amazing, as was the food!! It was my first time at Showroom, and they did not disappoint!! The decor made me think I was about to spend a lot of money..lol but it was reasonable priced and well worth every dollar!!

Michael M.

Yelp
Our first time there for brunch today on the recommendation of our daughter. My wife had the Reuben and a Bloody Mary. I had the fish & chips. The service was perfect. The food was fantastic! Definitely going again and again!

Yelp
Great service and great food. Went there for lunch once and brunch this past Saturday, had an awesome experience both times. I think the owner is there, if not it was certainly run like the owner is on-site and wants to make sure everyone is having a great meal. I had the breakfast sandwich, one of the best I've ever had.

Yelp
Came in for brunch and was underwhelmed. Maybe brunch isn't the time to come? They have a nice open dining room as well as covered patio space with heaters. We ordered... Deviled Eggs Biscuits Goat Cheese Omelet Duck Fat Fries Crab Cake Sandwich - Minus the Bread Everything was okay. Nothing was amazing or really stood out. The crab cake was all filling. Barely any crab inside. Service was good. Prices were standard. But I wouldn't go back, nothing was worth the drive to Frederick.

Being a fan of B.Volt, I had to try this restaurant while in town. Brunchtime visit and the menu had a nice variety of casual offerings to choose from. Deviled Eggs, Chicken Stack, side of Home fries and Sweet Tea. Now, I typically don't brag on tea, but my goodness this was really good tea! Deviled eggs, 6 halves, were pretty good. Felt like it needed a touch of sweet to balance the tart and they would have been perfect. Chicken Stack, which consists of Fried Chicken Salad, Bacon, Cheddar, Pepperjack, Lettuce, Tomato is built up like a club sandwich and huge!! It's a bit challenging to eat, so I ended up pulling the layers apart and eating it open-faced. It's so large I actually only had a 1/4 of it. I got the dijonaise on the side and glad I did because it wasn't necessary. The sandwich itself is very tasty, not dry at all. The potatoes were super crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Service was pretty good and my arrival around 10a on a Sunday was great for fast seating. Many other options on the menu and looking forward to a future visit.
