10 out of 10!!! We will never go to PCB & not stop at Shrimp City! We love the peel & deveined shrimp & the easy peel jumbo. The smoked tuna dip is AMAZING too. They will steam everything for you or they will pack it on ice for you to take home with you! So good!

Got great filets of red snapper! They were descaled great and no bones in sight! Fish selection was good and same for their frozen options. We were also able to get seasoning there that went perfectly with the snapper. Great service and happy to find out they’d visited where we were from!

Went here for grouper and the smoked tuna salad and they didn't disappoint. The staff is friendly and personable. The fish is fresh and delicious. That smoked ahi tuna salad is something everyone needs to try if they get the opportunity. We were visiting from Indiana but family comes down regularly. This will be our seafood home away from home. Thank you!!

Loved this place. Choices were good. Fresh fish and shrimp. They also steam the crab and shrimp for free! The service was fantastic and very personable. Will be back again.

Great friendly staff! Helped me decide with the many options. Bought a few pounds of Grouper, and seasoning! Cooked up great and was better than any food I bought in the area. Also don’t forget to grab a Kenny’s Key lime Pie - Gas. It was so good we came back and bought more to take home!

Love Shrimp City !! Always have to get steamed shrimp love the royal reds! Also have always bought fish to take back home to Ohio before we leave have never been disappointed with the taste. Service is amazing they even will pack your cooler with ice too!! You guys rock!!

I’ve been coming here for 35 years for the freshest steamed shrimp. Love the flavors, they can season your shrimp with Cajun, Old Bay, or Garlic Butter. I like all of the flavors!

It’s really too sad that I won’t be going back here. The man working is rude. I’ve been here multiple times and have bought oysters, along with other seafood. They’ve always put them in a cardboard box for me. This time, the guy basically demanded I buy a cooler or have a pickup or he wouldn’t put them in my car. Lost my business for good. I’ll take the extra 10 minutes to drive to Buddy’s.

I stopped by here earlier today with my wife and twins for lunch. We had found Shrimp City on Yelp a couple of days prior and bookmarked it, but the stars aligned for us to head here today. We arrived at the shop around 1 PM as another customer was leaving. Outside of that, we were the only customers inside. The inside of Shrimp City is clean, straightforward, and no-frills. Along one side is a long glass seafood counter showcasing fresh shrimp, oysters, clams, crab meat, and more, all clearly labeled with bright, handwritten signage. Behind the counter, a staff member was working at a stainless steel prep area. Across from that, several upright freezers are packed with frozen seafood and bait, including king crab, snow crab, crawfish, and various shellfish. One fridge even has a bold sign reminding customers not to forget their bait, offering items like shrimp, squid, and cigar minnows. There are also shelves of sauces, seasonings, and cold drinks. For lunch, my wife and I ultimately decided on 2 pounds of XL Gulf shrimp (31-35 count). We asked to have them steamed with Old Bay and garlic butter. The lady who waited on us behind the counter was super nice, and we had a pleasant conversation with her while the shrimp steamed. After they were finished, we headed back to where we were staying to eat. The shrimp ended up being excellent. The meat was sweet, and the balance of Old Bay and garlic butter was spot on. You could taste both, but neither overpowered the other. All too quickly, we had made it through our 2 pounds of shrimp, and my wife immediately told me I should rate it a 5. If I had to go here again, the only change I would make is to have chosen the peeled and deveined shrimp they offered just to make my life easier. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Our shrimp were very good, and I thought the lady working the front was nice as well.

Shrimp city continues to be a solid place to get quality seafood year after year. They've got a wide selection of freshly caught fish and other seafood, all of which is fantastic. My favorite is their snapper and old bay seasoned shrimp. They also have a variety of prepared fridge and freezer foods, such as dips, boudin and other sausages, sauces, and frozen raw food like calamari. Workers here are super nice and love what they do. They are always helpful in deciding what and how much to get. They had a remodel a few years ago and the new facelift makes this place look much less like a hole in the wall.

I recently bought peeled and deveined gulf shrimp that I later prepared at our condo. The market had fresh looking seafood and a good selection of frozen seafood including sea scallops, snow and king crab. The inside looked clean and we had good service making sure we had what we wanted.

SHRIMP CITY!!!!!!!! An absolute banger in PCB. You will not be disappointed!!! Quick and easy in and out when you get what you want, but be prepared to shop!

I can give this place a 5 rating because of it's friendliness, helpfulness and product quality. Pulled up in the rain and was greeted at the door. Asked for some guidance because we were first timers. Both ladies were very helpful, almost like a comedy act, one filling in for the other when there was air time. Got a pound of steamed shrimp with Cajun flavoring, a couple a crab cakes from the freezer, two pieces of fresh grouper and a small serving of tuna spread. Haven't eaten anything yet, but everything looked fresh and succulent. The place is small and very clean. The product is fresh except for a few items in the freezer. Will go back just because of the friendliness. High recommend the experience. Addendum - 24 hours later. We ate the shrimp for lunch - delicious. Peeling the shrimp was a drag. Would have preferred them to be peeled and deveined by shop. We tried the tuna dip and it was very nice. Would definitely buy those two items again.

Great service. Employees are friendly and helpful. Food was fresh and amazing. They will steam and prepare your shrimp with seasoning and butter for free on the spot. There is a reason this is the highest rated spot in the area. It deserves it.

Quality fresh seafood. Very nice staff. Little shop, but has everything you need. Make sure to bring an ice chest for oysters! Very quaint and simple atmosphere, but the staff is very patient and answers any questions you have.

We bought shrimp and snow crap here just last week & it was amazing! Fresh and a great variety. The ladies helping us were friendly and knowledgeable. The place was clean and provided easy access and viewing of what you were buying. Defiantly recommend and would go back to purchase seafood here again!

Shrimp was MONEY, as was the Ahi. Fresh and ready for your friends and family to enjoy. This is our LL go to for fresh seafood.

Small little shop but don't let that deceive you. This place has everything you need from fish to seasonings. We were greeted at the door by the guy running the counter and he helped us pick out the mahi mahi for our tacos. Price was fair. We're not really chefs but if the tacos turn out well we will be back!

This was a highlight of our trip. Pick you a bunch of shrimp they steam it and season it with garlic butter, cajun or old bay. Ran through Wendy's for some backed potatoes. We had 1.5 lbs of shrimp for around $30. They also have crab legs and lump crab meat all for a very reasonable price!

This is a great hole in the wall place. It is carry out only. You pick out the size shrimp and wether you want them shelled or not. Then they steam them for 3 minutes and season them with old bay,garlic and butter or cajun. They also had crab, grouper, and snapper truly worth the time to stop by.

We love Shrimp City. We've never had a bad experience. Always fresh, always friendly, always walk away with more than we came for! You have to try the Cajun garlic butter with whatever you get. Their smoked tuna dip is always on point. Grab a couple pounds of shrimp and take it with you for some great fresh seafood. Hal, the owner, is a great man and we always like supporting a local family business.

This place exceeded our expectations. The shrimp were absolutely delicious. We tried the pink variety and had them steamed with Old Bay. When we got home I served it with a salad and crusty sourdough bread. It was ten times better than the measly portion we had at the "fancy" restaurant down the street. The owners are super helpful and polite. One couple we ran into said they've been going there since the 1980's. We like it so much we're going back today. Seriously, I paid twenty dollars for one skewer of shrimp the night before with about 8 small shrimp (I couldn't call them even medium). This was at a very popular restaurant just down the street. They were dry and a bit cold too. I know the dining out experience is nice, but for actual TASTE and VALUE this is the way to go. The shells peel off almost magically and they're already deveined, so it's not necessary to purchase the shell off. Go ahead and make the stop here. You'll have a great authentic Florida taste explosion.

We purchased several pounds of the Red Royal Shrimp, and it was delicious. Friendly and very courteous place.

Highly recommend Shrimp City. After looking through reviews, we decided to try it out. We order 4 lbs of the Royal Reds Shrimp that they steamed at the store in the few minutes while picking up. We tried two types the Old Bay and the butter garlic both were amazing, everyone in the group loved the shrimp. The place doesn't look like much and is easily passed by but their food was great and the service was amazing as well. We will definitely come back to this place and is a must try if you're in the Panama City Beach area.

Small and clean, clearly family run. Not a huge selection, but what they have is good. Expect anything other than shrimp to be frozen. They own the restaurant next door which is currently closed due to a kitchen fire. We chose a few pounds of deveined local shrimp with old bay seasoning and butter. They were quickly steamed for us and were delicious--no skunky ones in the bunch. That being said, there are local places with a lot more variety.

Fresh shrimp and fresh grouper we brought from them and made at home! You can't buy fresh flavor! And the service was amazing! We also had some scallops from them and they where big sized and fresh! I e you ent to CPT Anderson's marina and treasure chest fish market and they can't beat the his place, both price and service!

I'm not a big tuna fan, a friend had us try the smoked tuna dip and we are now hooked! I will not make a trip to PCB again without buying more! Not to mention the best customer service and care for their customers. Our friends are regulars there and I mentioned them when I went and bought the smoked tuna dip, I was in a hurry and left my credit card. He tracked me down through them and then proceeded to ask if I would like for him to mail my credit card. I said that would be fine and he did, but not only did he mail me my card he went the extra step of wrapping and taped up the card where it was not obvious at all what was in the envelope. You just don't get that type of customer care much these days and it was very much appreciated! Go give these guys your business you won't be disappointed !

The smoked tuna dip was so good! But ... we bought shrimp and asked them to be cooked. "Cooking" consisted of steaming them in a pan, through then in a plastic bag and pouring Old Bay seasoning into the bag. They weren't good because you peel off all that seasoning. Won't go back for shrimp but would for the tuna dip

Super local seafood place. They will steam and season the shrimp which was great. Perfect since the condo we stayed at didn't have a lot of cooking stuff. We got a couple pounds of shrimp with old bay - classic. We also got a couple pounds of Cajun. That was great!! They have a nice collection of cocktail sauce and my buddy got a key lime pie. Unfortunately I was too full from the shrimp to try it.

Shrimp city was great or waitress was fantastic. I bought a wwII vet and his wife dinner and to my surprise she insisted in paying for 1/2. I tipped her so much on our meal and the vets she did not pay for anything. Food was good Waite was long but would go back.

Excellent fresh shrimp and fish!! Only seafood market we go too in Panama City Beach. Staff was very helpful and packaged our food up on ice for our 12 hour drive home

Seafood shop Shrimp Scott is next door to pier 77. I don't know it's them that caught the seafood they are selling. But at least from my side, the shrimp we bought taste good. We have them seasoned 1lb with Cajun seasoning and took one lb to our rental property. The Cajun one taste nice and my almost 2-year old boy loves that. The other lb, we took 5 from them to cook congee with white mushroom. Finally, the congee tastes just like you put inside lots of MSG, means, it taste so nice! The staff and owners are friendly people no rude! Will come back to this place again! Of course, we just want to order things from local, not a preciously frozen item!

If you are visiting PCB stop here! The seafood is all fresh, the service is great and very clean inside. We enjoyed our shrimp so much we returned and got some to go on our trip home. Enjoyed the Atlantic red shrimp with garlic butter. OMG You won't regret it. Service is excellent. Very friendly

We were visiting from out of town and wanted some oysters. They were very helpful suggesting the best ones to get and how to prepare them. They were delicious!

Delicious fresh shrimps and crabcake! They will steam the shrimp for you w/o charge. We asked for the canjun style and was just right! Fresh and sweet shrimp! We cooked the crabcake on a pan at the condo and it came out delicious! Nice people there go visit them!

Thank you! We ordered snow crab legs and shrimp steamed on the house, fresh grouper, tuna, jumbo crab meat, and the famous smoked tuna dip to feed 20 people at our beach condo. The best, fresh sea food we have ever had, and able to eat/cook it at home! The service was incredible, able to call it in the day of, and the family owned business treated us like family (and it was even a holiday weekend!)! The best, local seafood market in Panama City.

Everything in the store was FRESH! We bought red shrimp and snapper to take home- the ladies packed it up for our 10 hour drive home. The ladies were super helpful and kind!

While in Panama City, my friends and I decided we wanted to try some delicious seafood, and making your own tends to be much cheaper than spending money at a fancy restaurant. This place was close to our Airbnb and came highly rated on Yelp, so that sounded like a good place for us to start. We stopped by, and the store was easy to locate since it's right next to the seafood place they serve. It's a pretty small place, with segmented portions filled with different kinds of seafood ranging from shrimp to fish. We got recommendations from the staff for our purchases, and ended up making ceviche out of it. It was delicious, and I recommend checking this place out if you want to cook some local seafood.

The shrimp was fresh and delicious with just salt pepper and olive oil. We like it so much that we went back two days in a row!

Shrimps were very fresh and juicy. The gentleman who work there was very nice and helpful. We had our Shrimps steamed, Cajun hot and not spicy. The Cajun hot shrimps lack seasoning. Other than that, all is good!

Stopped by again this year and got the same thing - shrimp steamed in old bay. Sooo good!! The woman behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. Just hearing her talk to her customers you could tell she really cared about them. Definitely will be back!

This seafood market has to be one of the cleanest I have ever been to. We ordered stone crab, jumbo shrimp and 3 bushels of oysters (the guys said they could shuck them!). Everything was absolutely delicious. They also have all of the condiments you need. The staff are very friendly and loaded all of my goodies in the car for me as I am in a boot. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

We got 2 lbs of steamed shrimp and one ahi tuna filet. These were fresh and tasted great! The real standout was that I asked about key lime pie (I know some other fish markets nearby have them) and the lady working said they didn't have any, but she could go next door and get us some. So within 5 minutes she had a whole key lime pie for us from Kenny's Great Pies (out of Georgia)! I appreciated that she went above and beyond and we had an excellent fish dinner with pie for dessert.

Roasted shrimp in garlic butter was delicious! It was suggested I get the red shrimp. They were fresh and deveined which was great. I can't wait to get more!! Thank you!

We got the jumbo shrimp already peeled and de-veined and the red snapper. So fresh and tasty! Also got some frozen rock shrimp to take back to Tennessee. We get them every trip, they taste just like lobster. We will see you again next year!

Down here on vacation and found this place. Got some shrimp there last week and it was the best shrimp I ever had. We'll be going back this week for some fish, or maybe more shrimp, or maybe both.... Very friendly staff and good prices. They also have just about every seasoning or sauce you could ever need for your seafood. Plus- it doesn't smell like fish when you go in there (which can't be said about some of the other places we've tried around here). This place will be the only place we go for fresh seafood from now on.
